Gathering before Going

Sensing that we’ve arrived so near that spectacular moment those who are Rapture Ready desire, I present this with Holy Spirit-engendered expectation.

The following directive from Heaven should beat profoundly at the spiritual heart of every Christian who views God’s prophetic Word from the perspective of truth it presents: Jesus Christ will call all believers to Himself before the last seven years of human history leading to the Second Advent of Christ begin.

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. (Hebrews 10: 25)

That “day “we see “approaching” is wrapped up in Paul’s joyous foretelling of the moment of great expectation that’s there for every person who trusts in Jesus Christ for Salvation:

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 4:Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. (1 Thessalonians 4: 16–17)

Paul tells us further:

Wherefore comfort one another with these words. (1 Thessalonians 4:18)

This magnificent promise from our God is meant to bring great anticipation and relief from anxiety about the darkening times as we look for our “blessed hope,” as exhorted in Titus 2: 13:

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.

The Scripture telling us to not forsake assembling together as we see the day of Rapture approaching (Hebrews 10:25) has most always been taught as referring to gathering in church-house assemblies. And church attendance in that sense is important, to be sure. But the words of Hebrews 10:25 are perhaps most relevant to the anticipation of our going to be with Jesus when He shouts with the sound of a trumpet and the voice of the archangel: “Come up here!”

We are to gather our senses as one body in looking at all we see taking place around us when that moment of Rapture is upon us.

My own spiritual impression—and the message of agreement I’m getting from others—is that those who are truly attuned to these times of signs are being gathered in our spirits at this very moment. We sense with all that is within us that our Lord is about to shout those words of the Harpazo we earnestly long to hear. It is God the Holy Spirit Himself who is giving us a heavenly heads-up. Our work here on earth as royal ambassadors is nearly done.

And while the world continues to move in wickedness farther and farther from God and His divine order for humankind, believers who truly understand these times sense a calming comfort that brings peace to our spirits.

I hope you’re sensing that calm and comfort, or at least are beginning to.

In regard to our gathering and being comforted by a growing embrace of peace in these last of the last days, I’m deeply impressed to introduce you to a venue I believe God has brought on the scene specifically for sharing the peace, comfort, and even joy of this prophetic hour.

I want no one to think for one second that I hold any person up as one we should look to for new enlightenment, as do the guru worshippers. Jesus, the Living Word, is our only Hope–our Savior –our God.

However, when God directs us to ministries that display extraordinary devotion to His truth, I gladly lift them up for all to see. This is the first time I believe I’ve done so—at least to this degree of recommendation.

I began listening to the podcast some time ago, and have heard nothing but powerful words of truth from God’s Word—particularly from the prophetic Word. Yet what has drawn me totally into what is presented by this ministry is the soft, gentle presentation.

The host I find as God-centered and forthright as any who teaches from the pre-Trib view. Yet, he lays out his analysis of issues and events in a most unique way. He is one-on-one in his half-hour presentations. He talks in conversational tones in a humble way that makes me think of how Jesus must have spoken while teaching here on earth.

Now, I’m not comparing this man to Jesus. You know me much better than that. And Tom would be the first to be aghast at any such comparison. But he speaks in a gentle way and connects with those listening in a very special way. The Rapture and the comfort it promises are usually at the center of his conversation. He is unique among all presenters I’ve encountered.

So, after listening for a number of weeks, I contacted him. I believe the Lord wants our website to put forward Tom’s podcast as a must to visit at every opportunity.

I don’t make such recommendations lightly. I believe he’s been commissioned to help believers gather and be comforted as we see that day approaching. You’ll most likely sense the same after joining my new friend Tom for his journeys into Bible prophecy as he simply talks with you about the joy we can anticipate, almost certainly in the immediate future.

I hope you will listen by clicking this link I’ve chosen. I believe you’ll want to continue to hear his almost-daily podcasts and will pass the links on to others.

This particular program looks at seven questions about the Rapture. Tom discusses these as if you’re sitting there with him asking the questions he addresses, and he follows up by reading comments from those online at the time of the podcast.

All in all, there emerges a togetherness of the sort spoken of in Hebrews 10: 25. There is a gathering together in spirit around the Lord Jesus Christ as He prepares us for going Home.

Embracing Sorceries

Among the most telling signals that this is the time of the consummation of human history this side of Christ’s Second Advent are the developments wrapped in the following prophecy:

Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts. (Revelation 9:21)

It’s this matter of “sorceries” that I would like to dwell upon here.

“Sorceries”in this instance is derived from the Greek pharmakeia. It has several meanings, including “witchcraft” and “poison or drugs.”

Early in history, the word pharmakeia, as referring to drugs, was thought to indicate poison. The level of dosage determined whether the poison was fatal. Of course, this is true. Too much can be deadly. We know people overdose many times, and some die, either by accidental or deliberate overdose.

This has caused some within religions to declare all modern pharmakeia, or pharmacy, as a sin.

I have a son who is a pharmacist, and, of course, I believe he and his fellow doctors of pharmacy do good, not evil. However, there is no arguing against the fact that it’s not only the illicit drugs such as cocaine, heroin, and others that are harming and even killing people, but it’s legitimate medicines that are doing the same, in all too many cases.

Abuse of opioids has become so problematic, for example, that most state regulating boards have gone overboard, some believe, by keeping those who genuinely need help from getting appropriate meds. Pain-management clinics, for example, are heavily restricted from dispensing medications above certain dosages, etc.

One such medication is at the heart of the problem that has brought about this over-regulation. It is the drug said to be killing thousands in the United States—youths in particular. Fentanyl is a Chinese-produced drug for pain that was once used regularly, but now is more or less banned here in America. I don’t know the cases in which it’s allowed to be used, but I presume there are some.

The lethality of this drug is exacerbated by the insane border policies of this presidential administration. Drug runners are practically running free in illegally flooding our southern border areas with fentanyl and other such powerful drugs. Cartels from south continue to reap billions of dollars while killing our citizens with their drug trafficking.

One story frames the problem:

Los Angeles County experienced a 1,280% spike in overdose deaths from fentanyl, according to a recent report from the county Department of Public Health.

In a joint statement, the LA County District Attorney’s Office (which regularly refuses to charge drug dealers) and the health department announced the creation of a working group to address the situation “through prevention, education and enforcement.”

The ‘enforcement’ part will of course mark a radical departure from DA George Gascón’s ‘catch-and-release’ policy when it comes to criminals.

According to the health department, there were 104 deaths in 2016 attributed to fentanyl, which ballooned to 1,662 in 2021.

According to City News Service, black residents had the highest overdose rate based on the population, at 30.6 per 100,000 residents. White residents are overdosing at a rate of 22.5 per 100,000, while Latinos are at 11.1 per 100,000 residents.

The overdoses also occurred much more frequently in less affluent areas – which came in at 38.4 deaths per 100,000 vs. 12.3 per 100,000.

“Fentanyl overdoses are a significant and growing public health problem across the United States and in [the county], across sociodemographic groups and geographic areas,” reads the report, which adds “The increases among youth and the widening inequities between under-resourced and more affluent groups underscore the need to target prevention efforts to those at highest risk to decrease fentanyl overdoses and advance health equity in [LA County].” (“LA County Experiences 1,200% Increase in Fentanyl Overdose Deaths Over 5-Year Period,” Planet Today, 12/3/22)

Many observers, including yours truly, see this incursion as a direct invasion by the communist Chinese government as a concerted effort on behalf of the Marxist/socialist/globalist order to bring America to its knees. The fentanyl assault is no doubt from the mind of Satan, who is at work readying his Antichrist overlord to enter the stage of end-times history.

People, particularly the young, embrace this deadly drug through recreational use. According to God’s prophetic Word, the problem will become exponentially worse. A salient question is: Might the horrific level of drug use during the Tribulation be partly responsible for the “strong delusion” people will be sent, according to 2 Thessalonians chapter 3?

To avoid being a part of that era of earth-dwellers when such “sorceries” are embraced by the deluded masses, and instead be with the Lord Jesus Christ, here is what you must do now, while there is time before the Rapture or your own cessation of life:

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9–10)

Turkey Is Dressing…

Thanksgiving, the holiday, is just past, and thanksgiving is yet in the future when all the things Jesus and the prophets forewarned will play out on the timeline of human history leading to our Lord’s return. Turkey is at the center of that thanksgiving future, and the nation by that name is hastily dressing—militarily—for its part in a key prophecy, according to the prophet Ezekiel, as we have looked at numerous times.

To reiterate our overview, I revisit what I’ve written before in this regard.

A major leg of the Ezekiel 38-39 Gog-Magog coalition is coming into view. The Turkey leg is now on the end-times table of Bible prophecy.

We are given the nations that will make up that attacking force by the prophet Ezekiel:

Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords: Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet: Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee. (Ezekiel 38:2–6)

Modern-day Turkey covers most of the territory that made up ancient Togarmah. Ezekiel was told to prophesy that the house of Togarmah will be among the horde from the north of Jerusalem that will assault Israel near the time of Christ’s return.

Many things have been written that analyze developments to Israel’s north. It is as if those with spiritually attuned eyes and ears are being given a play-by-play unfolding of this coalition.

Russia is pared down from its configuration as the nucleus of the former Soviet Union. It more or less once again covers territory that it encompassed when Ezekiel gave the Gog-Magog prophecy. Meshech and Tubal comprised that territory. The “Gog” demonic spirit will, according to this prophecy, inhabit the chief prince, or leader of Russia. This leader is also destined to be the leader of the entire coalition.

Developments toward these prophecies have been nothing short of phenomenal lately.

Russia, after falling apart as the USSR, is again a powerful force. It has inserted its influence, including a considerable military presence, into the region directly north of Israel.

Iran, which is the centermost territory today that once was called Persia, has joined Russia as a close ally—again, just to Israel’s north. Russia and Iran’s military assets co-mingle in the region to influence Syria, another end-times player.

Russia’s president, Vladimir Putin, as we’ve said many times, looks to be the prototype for the leader who will be Gog of the Gog-Magog force prophetically scheduled to invade toward Israel to the south.

The prophet Ezekiel was told to foretell that God, Himself, will put hooks into the Gog-leader’s jaws and jerk him southward like a fisherman would set hooks into a big fish’s mouth and reel him in.

Now Togarmah (Turkey) is hastily in the process of militarily dressing for its end-times fulfillment as part of the Gog-Magog assault on God’s chosen nation.

[Turkish] President Tayyip Erdogan said on Wednesday that Turkey’s air operations against a Kurdish militia in northern Syria were only the beginning and it would launch a land operation there when convenient after an escalation in retaliatory strikes.

He said Turkey was more determined than ever to secure its southern border with a “security corridor,” while ensuring the territorial integrity of both Syria and Iraq, where it has also been conducting operations against Kurdish militants.

“We are continuing the air operation and will come down hard on the terrorists from land at the most convenient time for us,” Erdogan told his AK Party’s lawmakers in a speech in parliament.

“We have formed part of this corridor (and) will take care of it starting with places such as Tel Rifat, Manbij and Ain al-Arab (Kobani), which are the sources of trouble,” he added.

Russia has asked Turkey to refrain from a full-scale ground offensive in Syria, senior Russian negotiator Alexander Lavrentyev said on Wednesday after a fresh round of talks about Syria with Turkish and Iranian delegations in Kazakhstan. (“Turkey plans to take action on Syria when it would be in its best interest to move forward,” Reuters, 11/23/22)

Syria, of course, is another key player in end-times prophecy. Damascus, as we have looked at many times, is prophetically scheduled for destruction. All Gog-Magog players in the Ezekiel 38–39 drama have their attention on Syria. This is the area to watch of great prophetic interest.

The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap. (Isaiah 17:1)

The Spirit of Antichrist Moves Among Us

Author’s note: This article first appeared on Raptureready.com Monday, February 11, 2008. That evil spirit has become much more manifestly virulent, as those who follow issues and events of these closing moments of the age will attest.

John the apostle’s words are ringing louder and more succinctly than ever in the senses of those alert to the deceptive siren song of replacement theology.

Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. (1 John 2:18–19)

It was already the “last time” when John wrote this under inspiration of the Holy Spirit. The apostle who was so close to Jesus told us just how near Christ’s return is. Even though it has been almost two millennia, in God’s economy of time, that is nothing. Proof of it being the last time was the fact that there were many antichrists in and around Jerusalem. The coming of the Antichrist—the final, ultimate Antichrist—was on the way. But, John went on to say:

And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. (1 John 4:3)

Many, following the crucifixion of Christ, were at first claiming they believed Jesus had been the Jews’ Messiah. They seemed to be genuine followers of Jesus. But, the farther away the time of Christ’s death, burial, and well-known resurrection got, the more these people drifted away from the truth that indeed Jesus of Nazareth had come into Jewish flesh—the God/Man—to die on the cross as a once-and-for-all sacrifice for sin.

Now, those claiming to be believers were feeling the pressures and heat of the atmospherics surrounding the Resurrection. The Romans would tolerate no god but Caesar. The Jewish high-minded religionists persecuted and pursued all who accepted, followed, and worshipped the imposter Jew who had claimed to be Israel’s Messiah. The Judaizer Saul, of course, was one who persecuted true believers, but who would soon become Christ’s most fervent evangelist.

John said—again, under inspiration of the Holy Spirit—that those who denied that Jesus had come in the flesh to seek and save the lost were “antichrists.” They had the “antichrist” spirit.

This “spirit of antichrist” is more and more in view today. This comes to my attention not just weekly these days, but on a daily, even hourly, basis. There is a massive denial that Israel, the Jews in the modern nation and around the world, are any part of God’s plans for the restoration of all things. As a matter of fact, many of these attribute the term “Jew” and God’s promises to that people to themselves.

They go so far, in some cases, as to attribute the designation “Israel” to the nations of, for example, Great Britain and the United States. They are, they say, part of the ten lost tribes of Israel. They, in other words, claim they and/or these nations are the true Jews, and that the people who claim to be Jews are—well, like those of the Antichrist spirit in John’s day claimed Jesus to be—imposters.

These are doing the same thing the Judaizers–the hierarchy of the Jewish religionists—were doing in John’s day. They are denying linkage between the Jews and God’s coming to earth in the form of Jesus the Christ. This is a denial that Christ has come in the flesh—Jewish flesh. This is the spirit of antichrist.

This “spirit” is the one that caused the progeny of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to be pursued, hated, and murdered down through the centuries. This is the “spirit” that Satan has used to rage against the chosen people since the promise of the seed that would be raised to destroy him (Genesis 3:15).

It is the spirit of Antichrist that boils within Islam today. It is the spirit of Antichrist that brought Hitler’s Holocaust to the flesh-and-blood Jews—a thing that, unbelievably, is being denied as ever having happened by those who claim to be Christians.

And this is the reason for my rant. The following excerpt is from one of many I get from around the world—most claiming to be Christians, and, I might add, to be the true Jews today—replacing the Jews who can claim genetic ties to Jacob, who became Israel.

The diatribe was much longer than I can devote to this limited space. But, this is the gist, and typical of what I get incessantly from those who say we who believe in the Rapture and support the rights of a phony Israel to exist are, well, headed for a devil’s Hell. The person sending this follows a “ministry” that holds to the British Israel theory, or to a theory that the Church has replaced the Jews—modern Israel—in God’s promises. He tells about a man who gives the following “testimony”:

I have done my own research, and I have been to the concentration camp Dachau four times; once in college, and three times when I was in the military.

I had some problems with what I saw, and with what I was told. I am going to attempt to clarify myself hopefully in an outline that is understandable.

First: 1) I stood in what I was told was the gas chamber; but it was concealed as a large shower room. One question I had was very simple. Why would the Germans use a shower to conceal the gas chamber? If your [sic] going to kill the people with gas; then just do it, don’t try to disguise it. There I stood in the middle of this large room looking at the shower heads; and I could smell gas; but was it coming from a vent, an outside source, or what. I couldn’t tell. I thought this was somewhat strange. I even went outside the building looking for an outside source, or some kind of piping that would funnel any foreign objects into the building, but I couldn’t find any. Actually, the gas smelled like the gas that came from the canisters that we used in combat training when I was in the military.

It wasn’t until 12 years later when I was in the Air National Guard; and I went to Widmund Germany to support a Tactical Command fighter unit out of North Carolina, that I really started questioning what I was told earlier. I was in a combat communications unit, and in 1985 I had to go to the Air Force combat communications training school at Tinker AFB Oklahoma…

I went through training in the classroom; being trained in CPR, first aid, Geneva Convention, and so forth, and then I went out into the field for three weeks training in combat.

This was the first time I was ever in the full MOP suite (gas mask, boots, and the entire ensemble) while in training. I was in a foxhole for six hours under the hot Oklahoma sun. One thing I was taught was that in order to have a successful gas attack; there [have] to be nearly perfect weather conditions.

In other words, to[o] much wind could blow the gas that you directed at another country right back at you; and also, the rain has a way of dissolving or nullifying chemical, bacterial, and nuclear gas agents. One thing I learned was that water and steam could very well nullify any gas in the area. I started thinking, than [sic] how could the German’s [sic] gas the Jews while they were taking showers? They couldn’t, the water and steam would dissolve the gas to the point that the gas would be neutralized.

I realize that it is a terrible thing to come against the Jews; after all, wasn’t Jesus Christ a Jew? Wasn’t the Jews God’s chosen people? And wasn’t the Word of God given to the Jews for them to study, and use to bring the light of the Gospel to the world? The answer of course is, NO!!!…”

This same “spirit of antichrist” is flagrant among those who claim devotion to Christ. It is the denial of the flesh-and-blood people—the “chosen people”—into which the son of God was born. It is this spirit that will bring about the ultimate Beast—the Antichrist. Jeremiah spoke to this in his prophecy about Israel during the Tribulation:

Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it. (Jeremiah 30:7)

The spirit of Antichrist is on a rampage, even in subdued ways among the Church, by refusing to address the hatred coming against modern Israel. It does, indeed, tell us where we are on God’s prophetic timeline.

THE FINAL REMNANT – By Terry James and Heather Renae

AUTHOR’S NOTE

Fully realizing that most Rapture Ready family folks don’t generally prefer fiction, I nonetheless implore you to embrace this novel. I’m particularly doing so because of my concern for the young adults who have been largely ensnared by this perverse culture that Satan and his minions have managed to inflict and afflict.

This is the first book in a series Heather Renae—an excellent novelist—and I believe the Lord has given us to present. I believe this story and the ensuing series will pull the young adult reader into His Holy Spirit’s orbit. Thus, many will—we pray—begin to understand the serious nature of where all anti-God deception is leading.

Please, get this book for your children and grandchildren. Encourage them to read the story. I believe many will become intensely interested in considering putting Christ at the center of their lives while the world around them gets more and more out of control.

God is still in complete control, and the young adults you love need never suffer the fate those in this story experience. Heather has created a tremendous storyline about these most crucial matters of eternal destiny. My part has been to help guide in Bible prophecy truth—all under the Holy Spirit’s direction.

Any moment now, believers in Jesus Christ might hear His shout, “Come up here!” While you pray for them and try to reach them with the truth, please, get share with them this.

Another very important note! Heather is on TikTok making educational, Revelation videos. For grandparents in particular –if you want your grandkids to learn about Revelation in a fun, in-depth way, you will want to follow Heather on TikTok. The link is below. The Final Remnant MLTHE FINAL REMNANT

By Terry James and Heather Renae

A story that will become reality at any moment

Life was hard before the Day of Vanishing. Some call it the Rapture. If it really was the Rapture, it proves Caden’s theory that God is totally bogus…or worse. Whatever. Now, life’s unbearable. After all the good people disappeared into thin air, the world fell apart. Unmanned planes fell from the sky, empty, moving cars crashed, and disaster struck. The bodies piled up. Those who were left banned together in little, ragtag gangs, fighting over scraps. And what was God doing through it all? Watching it burn.

Have you ever wondered what the first moments after the Rapture will be like for those instantaneously finding themselves in the worse time of human history? It is the vilest—we can be sure—because God, Himself, has foretold it so.

Jesus said of time following the disappearance of millions, “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. (Matthew 24: 21)

Caden is only armed with a baseball bat as he fights to keep his younger brother and himself alive. They join a gang, scavenge ghost towns, and avoid new predators who stalk in the shadows. Mankind is no longer the apex predator.

Giants roam the lands. Though many believe them to be heroes, Caden knows better. Heroes don’t eat people. Animals also mutated oddly, gaining extra tails and new set of fangs. No one knows why they mutated, but the freaks of nature should best be avoided. Unfortunately, that’s not the worst of it.

There are the haunts or demons—or whatever you want to call them. These monsters enjoy human with a side of fries. They’re invisible to everyone, except Caden. Lucky him. He doesn’t know why he’s the exception…and he hates it. It’s probably God up to His tricks again. Now and then—without warning and at the worst times—the haunts show themselves. They’re always grinning from around the corner or stalking from hidden places, and Caden doesn’t understand why they haven’t eaten him yet.

Sometimes, his ‘gift’ can be handy—letting him scavenge where haunts have scared others away. It’s a useful ability, yet it can lead to far greater troubles. Caden learns way too late that it’s dangerous to speak of his gift. Most people treat him like a weirdo, but few want to make him they’re employee—one who never clocks out and is fine with not getting paid. A slave.

When Caden realizes his baseball bat is little help against guns and larger, meaner gangs, he and his brother decide they’re unable to make it on their own. They need help—someone bigger and stronger on their side. Someone like God if He were to ever come through… But Caden is running out of options. And compared to his desperation, his hatred of God is getting smaller by the day. Maybe all that God and faith stuff isn’t too bad. Forced to decide what he wants more—to keep his brother and himself alive or keep hating God—Caden comes to terms with the fact that any day could be their last.

The Final Remnant is a novel. A work of fiction. Its story goes deeply into the time of which Jesus forewarned. The horrors of that tribulation, thankfully, are not yet reality. The taking from planet Earth of believers in Jesus Christ—His Church—is yet future on God’s Prophetic Timeline.

However, the reality of that twinkling moment is on the cusp of shocking the world. Signs are everywhere that Christ’s call to the Church will happen at any second. Issues and events in the hourly news make certain Jesus’ words of great promise to believers is perhaps only a heartbeat away.

“And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” (Luke 21: 28)

Counterfeit Commandments

We’ve looked many times at how Satan wants to be worshipped as God. From the very beginning, in the account of his actions against God, we can see that prideful tendency that exploded into full-fledged rebellion.

For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. (Isaiah 14:13–14)

As brilliant as this angel is (at one time he was said to be the most powerful of God’s angels), Lucifer (Satan) apparently never had an original thought. His only strategy seems to be mimicking God–counterfeiting what God has already finished.

Probably the best example of this is seen in what is prophetically scheduled for the Tribulation (Revelation 19:11). I and others have pointed out on numerous occasions the nature of Satan’s activity during that most terrible time of all history, as Jesus called it (Matthew 24: 21).

Lucifer will counterfeit the Trinity (God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit). This is found in Revelation chapter 13, with the introduction of the first beast, the second beastand Satan himself as giving power and authority to these wicked cohorts during the Tribulation era.

Satan is, in the Revelation 13 account, the counterfeit of God the Father; Antichrist is counterfeit of God the Son; and the False Prophet is scheduled to be the counterfeit of God the Holy Spirit. We usually call these three the “unholy trinity.”

This evil triumvirate will cause all to worship Satan or be killed. They will be able to perform imitations of miracles—one of the most dramatic of which is described as follows:

And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. (Revelation 13:3)

This deception, of course, will be Satan mimicking Jesus’ return to life after death. The Antichrist will appear to be raised from the dead in a mocking counterfeit of the magnificent Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

So the time of the Tribulation will be an era marked by satanic counterfeit miracles–signs and wonders from the dark dimension. The entire world full of deluded earth-dwellers, as they are called, will follow this false trinity to their doom.

We often point out that we’re now seeing foreshadows of things that will be in full force from Satan once the seven years of hell on earth arrive. For example, the Antichrist regime is in view in the form of the globalist efforts such as Agenda 21 and the World Economic Forum. Artificial intelligence (AI) and other technological wonders foreshadow the coming absolute surveillance controls that will be in effect when the marks-and-numbers system of Revelation 13:16–18 is in effect.

And, most interestingly, the harlot religious system of Revelation chapter 17 has leaped to the forefront of hints of things to come. We’ve recently looked at this blatant false religion emerging, and now eerie details are suddenly right in our faces as we watch prophetic progression.

Many of us remember the Cecil B. DeMille movie, The Ten Commandments. Despite literary license and occasional glaring errors, it was, in my view, a masterpiece.

One of the most dramatic scenes was when Moses came down from Mt. Sinai carrying the two tablets bearing the Ten Commandments that had been carved by the finger of God.

Remember how Moses, infuriated that the children of Israel were dancing nude and worshipping the golden calf, raised the tablets above his head and flung them angrily toward the then-terrified people. It was one of the most powerful moments of the film, as God’s righteous anger brought an earthquake, and many were swallowed in the fissure that opened beneath their feet.

Well, Satan’s foreshadowing is again in view as he prepares equally rebellious people of earth for his continuing intention to usurp the throne of God. We see this in the following:

A group of religious leaders held a ceremony in the Sinai Peninsula to call on the world to pay more attention to the environment by smashing a pair of tablets on the ground earlier this week.

In an initiative called The Sinai Climate Partnership, The Interfaith Center for Sustainable Development (ICSD), The Elijah Interfaith Institute, the Peace Department, the United Nations Faith for Earth Initiative, Gig watt Global, and the Israeli environmental advocacy organization, Adam Teva V’Din took part in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27), which is taking place in the Sinai Peninsula, in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.

But the faith leaders took an alternative approach, seeking a faith-based solution to the ecological crisis by promoting the “Ten Principles for Climate Justice” in a global initiative. Toward this end, they held a sunrise ceremony on Sunday at the summit of Jabal Musa, a mountain in the southern Sinai Peninsula that according to some traditions is the site where Moses received the Ten Commandments.

A symbolic delegation of five members ascended and was joined by several participants from the COP conference. The group read from a new draft of their “Ten Principles for Climate Repentance,” recently composed by dozens of multifaith leaders meeting in London over the week. (“Spiritual ecological partnership smashes Tablets on Mount Sinai claiming ‘broken promises.’” Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz, Israel365 News)

Seems that Satan’s human minions have watched DeMille’s movie, too. The ten counterfeit commandments point to the false religion of Mother Earth worship that is front and center. The climate changers are angry that we aren’t all falling in line to join their one-world effort to save the planet—thus the symbolic Charlton Heston slamming of the tablets.

All of this means that the Lord’s call to His Church must be very near indeed.

Don’t be left behind to face what this devilish religious system has in store for those who will have rejected Jesus Christ–the only Way, Truth, and Life with God the Father in Heaven for eternity.

Here is how to make sure you don’t miss that call to “Come up here!” (Revelation 4: 1):

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9–10)

Young Adults’ Plans and Prophecy

This commentary is offered in consideration of Christian young adults—those who are God’s children. That is, they are God’s own through belief in Jesus Christ according to perhaps my favorite scriptural passage on how to be saved from sin’s dread sway:

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9–10)

We will delve a bit into the plans of these young adults in consideration of Bible prophecy. The concerns they have too often go without much notice by those of us in the Bible prophecy ministry, I’m afraid. Their worries, which might have at one time been the very ones of my generation and younger, now can be easily overlooked by us older ones. We have lived our lives, we’ve had and raised our children, and we’ve completed many of our family, social, and business desires and expectations.

I can remember when, on the rare times when those of us in our twenties and thirties had discussions about the Rapture and of the Second coming, some—perhaps most—would say something like: “I want the Rapture and Jesus to return, but I hope I get to enjoy life and see my kids grow up.”

Otherwise, we didn’t talk about Bible prophecy much in our social gatherings—or even in our church gatherings, as I recall. The subject was almost taboo, because it engendered thoughts of separation. Somewhat like the thought of death, the Rapture threatened to separate us from those we loved –especially in thinking about our babies or our future life with family and children.

Of course, this was because even back then, pastors rarely taught about Bible prophecy. Our Sunday schools and other forums almost never dwelt on God’s prophetic Word, either. Those of my era and subsequent eras of young adults, like today’s young adults, never were led to understand the promises our Heavenly Father has made in His prophetic Word.

So it is understandable why today there is little interest in the teachings of Rapture and the Second Coming of Christ. I, too, am guilty of pointing only to the gloom and doom of these darkening times. There’s not much hope—or certainly not much fun—in thinking about the evil that permeates our world in ever-increasing virulence.

We who are commissioned to analyze and dissect the prophetic implications of these days leading to the Tribulation too often don’t take into account the fact that the young adults of our time don’t see the final outcome of the prophetic stage-setting as wonderful and magnificent as we do.

The young people only see the problems of making their way into life’s mainstream and preparing for or working toward building their families and security for those families. Looking up for the any-moment Rapture is, most times, far outside of their worldview. All they know is the here and now and trying to find their way through the maze of growingly difficult social and cultural situations they face daily. And, again, the Rapture seems to be something more to be feared than looked forward to with great anticipation, as we are exhorted in Paul’s words of Titus 2:13.

As I write, I’m reminded deeply in my spirit how the Lord wants those who are in His family to gather within their redeemed spirits the astonishingly wondrous things He wants them to anticipate—the things that are coming much sooner than we can realize.

My spirit tells me that reaching the ability to have this kind of anticipation comes most often from years of studying Bible prophecy. And every generation has failed to properly bring the young to such a level of study.

In other words, I and others who have spent most of our adult lives deeply rooted in the study of and prayer about Bible prophecy now know in the deepest reaches of our being the wonders that await just after the final heartbeat or that glorious moment when Christ shouts for His Bride to come to Him. The young ones, and even older Christians who haven’t studied the prophetic Word on their own or in churches or other venues, don’t have the assurance or even knowledge of that magnificent future on the very cusp of pulling them instantaneously into glory.

It is not possible for a writer or a preacher to make these folks understand the joy that awaits the believer in Jesus Christ. But it is possible, if they can just be convinced to take God at His Word, that a fantastic future beyond anything imaginable is approaching at a speed never before experienced by God’s people.

The Scripture I would encourage every young person to include in their plans is given by the Apostle Paul—the same prophet who revealed the mystery of the Rapture:

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. (1 Corinthians 2:9)

It seems, then, that no one can know with great inner assurance of the glories that await believers. But God’s promise goes beyond this seeming inhibition against knowing Heaven’s wonders.

Paul tells us further the following about knowing that blessed eternal life to come:

But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. (1 Corinthians 2:10–13)

Those words from the very heart of our God tell His family that the desire to know of the never-ending life of glorious exultation can be fulfilled through Holy-Spirit revelation. This is what each believer needs to understand and apply—study, prayer, and a deep belief in God’s promises. The Holy Spirit will give understanding and deep, abiding faith in the promises of God regarding our eternal life with Him.

To the younger and older members of God’s family—who are already citizens of that place called Heaven: Make Bible prophecy a big part of your plans for the future. God’s powerful promises will bring your earthly plans into focus with a heavenly perspective. And you will begin to understand that leaving this earth doesn’t mean you will lose the children and family you love so much. You will begin to know beyond any doubt that the life God has prepared for you is billions of times more wonderful and fulfilling than any time you spend with them on earth. Your life with loved ones will be enhanced beyond what you can fathom.

Gates of Hell Prophecy

Often we overlook much prophetic truth when we read and study God’s Word. The Bible is without limits in its rich wisdom available to be mined. The Creator’s purpose in giving His Word to the human race is to provide direction for living in the most abundant way possible.

Jesus Christ is that WordThe last book of the Bible—Revelation—is the unveiling of Jesus in all His power, glory and majesty.

Prophecy—telling of the future—resides at the heart of that Word. The promises issued from the holy pages guarantee eternal life for each person ever to be born who genuinely accepts God’s grace-given redemption from sin through belief in Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection.

Jesus Christ is the Second Person of the Godhead, whom God the Father sees as the nucleus around which all things hold together:

“For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.” (Colossians 1:16–17)

So, with it established that the Lord Jesus is preeminent in all things, we come back to the opening statement to add that one truth we often overlook deals most directly with the next prophecy to be fulfilled—the Rapture of the church.

Jesus spoke about this commentary’s primary topic—the gates of Hell. Although the disciples He was speaking to really had no concept of what He was referring to, the prophecy and its details have been coming to pass ever since—and are now set for fulfillment.

“He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” (Matthew 16:15–18)

They didn’t understand the concept of “the church;” at that point they were totally ignorant of that “structure” Jesus prophesied to be built. But built it was, and it is still under construction as each person who comes to salvation is added.

The specific part of this prophecy I want to look at in perhaps a new way is wrapped within the phrases “my church,” “the gates of hell,” and “shall not prevail against it.”

My study of how God deals with people–including believers—in different dispensations leads me to conclude that there are entirely different fates awaiting believers in Christ. And I’m talking about physical fate, not spiritual/eternal fate.

In terms of eternal fate, the gates of hell cannot and will not prevail or win against any believer in Jesus Christ. All believers, of every dispensation, will enjoy the bliss and exultation of Heaven forever. But in terms of physical fatebelievers are prophetically scheduled to meet differing destinies.

Here is something we’ve looked at before, but still is not the primary point I wish to address.

Jesus said in Matthew 16, as we’ve read above, that He will build His church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. That has turned out to be the dispensation we call the Church Age. This began at Pentecost, as recorded in Acts chapter 2, when the Holy Spirit came to indwell believers. (I’m aware there are those who believe the church began along the shores of Galilee when Jesus began His ministry.)

On the other hand, the same Jesus, in His ascended form, gave the following prophecy to John to write in the Revelation.

“And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.” (Revelation 13:7)

So it is plain that in the physical sense, Satan (his Antichrist) will overcome—prevail against—the saints (believers in Christ). But the gates of hell, referring to Satan’s evil domain, will not prevail over the church. The devil will never be able to physically or spiritually totally overcome or destroy Christ’s Bride, the church.

Now to get to that nuance of examination I hope will help make clear just how important this promise to the church—all believers of the Church Age—really is.

My friend Jonathan Cahn, in his most recent book, The Return of the Gods, points to the spiritually and even physically observable reality that portals of the demonic sort have been somewhat opened in these obviously manifest times of insane, anti-god activity. We’ve examined many of the bizarre manifestations over and over in these columns, but I will only repeat that it looks like God is in the process of turning rebellious human beings over to a reprobate mindset—to demented, upside-down thinking, as Paul prophesied in Romans chapter 1:

I’m in agreement with Jonathan. And I believe these portals equate to Jesus’ reference to the gates of Hell. Those gates are opening wider by the day, it seems. The demonic minions from those portals, as well as the human minions that are anti-God, intend to completely erase all vestiges of the true Christian church from the planet.

That will never happen. The very God who created all that exists has said so: “The gates of hell shall not prevail against it”—the church Jesus Christ is still building.

I’m convinced that the moment the Restrainer (the Holy Spirit) lifts His hand of restraint against these hellish forces, all believers will go to the Lord Jesus when He says: “Come up hither!” (Revelation 4:1).

The church cannot and will not be on planet earth when those gates of Hell are fully opened and allowed to overcome the saints of the Tribulation era (those saved following the Rapture). We have Christ’s Word on that wonderful promise.

With all the wickedness deluging this time on earth, the end is about to come like a flood (Daniel 9:26). The gates of hell will soon swing fully open, bringing the most horrible, deadliest time of human history, according to the Lord (Matthew 24:21).

But you and I, if we know Christ for salvation, don’t have to worry for a second about being here to face that time. Jesus said He will keep us out of that hour of horror (Revelation 3: 10). To be sure you are a part of the church that will be taken out before that Tribulation era begins, follow Paul’s Holy Spirit-given instructions.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9–10)

When Children Go Missing

The red tsunami didn’t happen. Midterm election results fell far short of what conservative, America-like-it-used-to-be voters desired.

Politico-pundits and patriots alike have since dissected and analyzed every facet of what happened on November 8, 2022. Reasons for the failure to produce the red wave (overwhelming victories by Republicans) run the gamut of accusations, excuses, and factual findings.

Many Americans listen only to mainstream news and social media forums that don’t tell the truth and hide important facts about the dire state of the nation. They don’t hear about the true crisis of the country’s wide-open borders, where millions of illegals are pouring through and being distributed throughout the nation by a government now turned toward Marxist-socialist ideology. The people aren’t told the full story regarding the serious tearing-down of the US infrastructure, like oil and gas production within our own resources.

They are oblivious—sometimes deliberately so—to the all-out efforts by the globalists elite to tear down our country’s sovereignty so they can divert United States wealth to fund their one-world order. While these uninformed Americans care about insane, inflation-caused prices and increased personal danger because of rampant crime, the thing that apparently prevented the red tsunami is found in another matter more concerning.

The issue that tipped the balance is maintaining the freedom to abort babies. This was the finding of the exit polls on November 8.

Leading up to Election Day, many of the pollsters said people were not expressing the abortion issue as being important to them. However, after the vote—in exit interviews and beyond—folks were saying they voted for the pro-abortion party candidate. This was the primary reason they gave for voting as they did. It was votes for the right to continue abortion on demand. These voters feared—as surmised by pollsters, pundits, and politicians—that since the Supreme Court recently found the Roe v Wade ruling of 1973 to be unconstitutional, the religious right would control if the red wave prevailed.

To me, the demand to continue slaughtering babies is all-important to consider as we approach the darkest era of human history.

This election-steering determination to rid the world of unwanted children pierced to the core of my thinking on the matter of Rapture. At the moment I sensed my spirit being prompted by the Holy Spirit to think about the abortion demand alongside the Rapture of the Church, I received an email. It was obviously sent by someone who hoped to hook interest in promoting a novel.

But, now knowing more about the author, I know the email was sent with the humble request that the Holy Spirit guide the novel to its target. I’m familiar with that request because I’ve offered them frequently myself in the book-writing, publishing, and promotion process.

The note wasn’t addressed to me personally. It was just a kind of scatter-shot “feeler.” The author’s hope was to, by chance, draw interest in the book.

Well…in this case, it worked.

The novel hit the very spot it was meant to hit. Or, I should say, the topic within the novel hit the target it was intended to hit. That would be yours truly.

Most who are familiar with these commentaries know the abortion issue is one of the key indicators of the lateness of the prophetic hour as we approach the Rapture.

Readers are also familiar with my core belief that God is, by taking all children in the Rapture, going to make a definite statement about abortion, when life begins, and His attitude regarding children who are innocent because they haven’t yet reached the age or maturity level enabling them to decide whether to accept or reject Jesus Christ. As I’ve stated many times, based on how God has historically dealt with humankind, to do anything other than remove these innocent children from the horrific judgment and wrath to come would fly in the face of His perfect character.

The novel slammed hard into my thinking on the voters’ embrace of the right to abort babies by the millions. It is a work of fiction, of course. But I’m convinced that the truth within its pages needs to be shared—particularly with people who have been deceived by those who spread Satan’s lies about killing babies in the womb.

I read (listened to) the book in three settings—a feat I rarely achieve, considering the number of things on my to-do list. I believe that you’ll devour it, too. I’m hoping you will, and then pass the story on to many others, particularly young adults who are exposed to all the lies surrounding the abortion issue.

Here is a brief description I received that got me started reading the book. But to really understand the story’s impact—that when the Rapture intervenes into this judgment-bound world, real lives will be ripped apart—you’ll want to get into that first chapter. I believe you won’t want to stop reading.

Book snippet:

What would you do? Your husband is missing; you don’t want to be pregnant; you witness a horrific airplane accident, and you learn all babies and young children have disappeared. Twenty-eight-year-old Sarah Colton may think she is in control, but she’s far from the truth, not realizing the Rapture has occurred. Enter the writer’s mind as she deals with this imminent, amazing event. (Updated 2022 version of Untaken, originally published in 2017)

When Christ calls the church out of this world, all children—even those just conceived—will go missing instantaneously. The impact of this loss around the globe will be profound, but the way it will affect those like Sarah and others like her will be beyond any description, fiction or nonfiction.

This is why I’ve chosen to promote this book through a commentary rather than a review. Even though I realize that many who follow these columns don’t have an interest in fiction, I’m convinced you will find this one irresistible once you take the chance to start reading it.

Here are the author’s words about her desire to get this story in front of readers: “One thing I must stress is that this is a ministry for me to promote Christ, so I would like the e-book to always be NO CHARGE to anyone who wants it.… This is not about me making any money, but promoting God’s Word!”

While the e-book is FREE everywhere online but on Amazon (they require it to be $0.99), the print copy is $9.99, from which the author makes less than a dollar each. Prices are often fixed by the publishing process and are beyond her control. Having been in the business of writing commercially published books for many years, I can vouch that some of the new, electronic publishing platforms can be simply labors of love on the authors’ behalf.

Such is the case with Untaken:12 Hours Following the Rapture by C. O. Wyler. Out of love for the Lord and for those she doesn’t want left behind at the Rapture, she intends this story to warn of the horrors that will follow Jesus calling the church from planet earth and how the missing children will make that time of Tribulation even more horrendous.

Since the book includes the eternal plan of salvation and is timely to what is happening in the world, it is for both believers and unbelievers.

Today is the day of salvation!

Foreshadowing Foretellings

Again we consider the words of the greatest of all prophets. He is the greatest of all prophets, of course, because He is God.

The words of Jesus Christ are reverberating today to all who are familiar with end-of-the-age signals. And one instruction the Lord Himself gave for this very generation, I’m convinced, is the most significant. It is the “heads-up”  we’ve looked at continually for months and even years.

And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. (Luke 21:28)

Jesus had just stunned His disciples, telling them that the beautiful Temple they were looking at would be completely thrown down. The Lord then addressed the questions Peter, James, John, and Andrew had asked: Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?” (Mark 13:4).

We’ve gone over the Olivet Discourse many times, learning all of the things Jesus said would come to pass. He told of the horrors of the coming Tribulation, the arrival of Antichrist, and the plight of the Jewish people at the time of the Great Tribulation.

But let’s remember that Jesus wasn’t limited to only prophesying things that were scheduled for fulfillment. Concerning Jesus Christ, we are told: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1).

Every single prophecy in God’s Word, no matter the prophet through whom it is given, is a foretelling by the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Word! So whether we’re considering the prophecy given under Ezekiel’s watch, or those given under the Apostle Paul’s, or those presented by anyone else in Scripture, it is the same as the Lord Himself speaking.

When Jesus left us with the command to “look up and lift up your head” when “you see all these things begin to come to pass,” He was saying that we should pay close attention to every prophecy for the end of the age. He was directing believers to carefully observe all prophetic signals when we know these things are beginning to happen, because, at that time, He is on the very cusp of calling all of His children to Himself.

So we look now at the title of our commentary: “Foreshadowing Foretellings.”

Jesus said we will “see these things begin to come to pass” (Luke 21: 28). He didn’t say “if” we see them come to pass. He was telling obedient believers who “watch,” as given in Mark 13:37, that we will know He is drawing near when we see things prophesied for the end of the age “begin” to come to pass.

Observation of these signals involves “foreshadowing of foretellings” found throughout the Word of God. We’ve looked—in practically every blog, article, and book I’ve written—at how things are precisely setting the stage for fulfillment of prophecy.

We’ve looked at the events and issues of these times that foreshadow the formation of the New World Order; we’ve seen the forming Babylonian beast that both Daniel and John said casts a darkening cloud of coming horrors upon the geopolitical landscape at this late hour.

We’ve gone over Israel’s rebirth into modernity and the prophecies surrounding that miracle. We have examined the headlines involving Israel’s enemies to the north as foreshadowing the Gog-Magog attack Ezekiel foretold.

The man of sin’s platform of world power seems almost ready for Antichrist’s ascendance.

We recently looked at the world’s governmental and religious leaders now coming together at the traditional Mount Sinai (Sharm El Sheikh) in Egypt—to pay homage to the planet by bringing their unholy machinations to bear in their insane efforts to save Mother Earth. We thereby see the foreshadowing of the false worship system of Revelation chapter 17—the whore that rides the beast foretold by Daniel (chapter 7) and John (Revelation chapter 13).

Time and time again, we ‘ve gone over the cultural and societal wickedness that has saturated our nation and the world with Sodom and Gomorrah-like evil. These blasphemous, debased developments foreshadow Jesus’ prophetic words of Luke 17: 6–30.

A number of personalities arising in world leadership seem to foreshadow entities foretold to appear at the end of the age.

Vladimir Putin of Russia, for example, seems to have the characteristics of the one who will be the “Gog” Ezekiel described. And all circumstances surrounding what’s going on in the Middle East and with Mr. Putin add to the intrigues regarding the possible soon fulfillment of the Gog-Magog prophecy.

And now I find most interesting the 33-year-old Jewish rabbi who is praised and even worshipped in some Jewish Orthodox circles. Rav Shlomo Yehuda is believed to be a miracle-worker who can quote the Torah and other Jewish holy scrolls with instant and total recall. He has been filmed performing healing and other miracles, according to reports.

Whether or not he might turn out to be the False Prophet—the second beast of Revelation chapter 13—his appearance at this time certainly is a false Messiah-type foreshadowing. That is, it seems to foreshadow Jesus’ foretelling about deceivers who would come in His name as the time of His return nears.

Jesus told Israel that they would reject Him, but would accept as Messiah another who would come in His name.

When I began my novel a number of months ago—MESSIAH and the Prince That Shall Come, this candidate for that end-times partner of Antichrist wasn’t in view.

Jesus’ words about these things beginning to come to pass are now on a fast track. Let us follow his directive!

But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch. (Mark 13:32–37)
