If there is one element of the so-called Covid-19 pandemic that presages Tribulation era Bible prophecy, it is the hue and cry, the over-the-top clamor for vaccination compliance. I say so-called pandemic, because statistics have long since documented that this virus nowhere near reaches the level of previous true pandemics.
Again, I address the topic of the virus with the understanding that it is serious. All such infections are serious and must be dealt with care and common sense. However, it is the common sense aspect that is missing in this so-called pandemic. It is a manufactured pandemic with a biblically prophetic attachment that should not be missed by the spiritually-attuned believer.
Have you ever heard such a level of insistence that every individual on earth do something as is now being demanded with regard to taking the COVID-19 vaccines? There is nothing like it in my memory, and I’m an old guy to be sure.
Governments and corporations are offering money for those who will take the vaccines. My own state government –the government of one of America’s deepest red states—is, I understand, offering to pay some state employees nearly $150 each to take the vaccine. (My tax money, I might add.)
People are offered everything from free ice cream and dinners at restaurants to vacations, if they will but receive the jab, as the compliance enforcers demand. More and more businesses and governments are leaning toward developing vaccine passports of sort that will allow freedoms that were formerly…well… free, before COVID-19.
The entire continent of Australia seems to want all within its governmental reach to stay totally sequestered for the foreseeable future.

Alarmists within the controlling medical community are now warning of the Delta variant, which is said to be “much more contagious” than the previous COVID-19 type. This further seems to validate those who have consistently believed that the vaccine was just the tip of the proverbial iceberg. The vaccine pushers will not stop with one or two jabs. They will insist on basically untested and not officially approved inoculations for as far into the future as we can project.
Many who look critically at this unprecedented drive to make all on earth compliant with vaccine acceptance believe it is all setting up worldwide embrace of the marks and numbering system of Revelation 13: 16-18.—i.e., it is all a blueprint for control of the populations on earth during the time of Antichrist’s rule.
The forces behind the vaccine push are targeting the reluctant to take the jabs with threatening insinuation. In America, this obloquy is becoming more blatant.
Equity futures are in the red Wednesday morning as Dr. Anthony Fauci’s warnings about the supposedly “dire threat” posed by the Delta variant continue to be dramatically amplified by the American media…
On Wednesday, Bloomberg published the latest in a series of stories effectively re-stating the same facts: the vaccination rate in a handful of deep-red states has substantially lagged the rate in the rest of the country. The lead-in for Wednesday’s story was the fact that the gap between the most- and least-vaccinated states has continued to widen…(“Panic Porn Dressed Up As Science” – Exposing The Truth About The Delta Variant by Tyler Durden, ZeroHedge)
Increasingly, those who hold to true science are reporting the overblown panic regarding the variants of COVID-19. On June 18, for example, Public Health England published its 16th report on “SARS-CoV-19 variants of concern and variants under investigation in England”.
The report showed that the Delta variant has a 0.1% case fatality rate (CFR) out of 31,132 Delta sequence infections confirmed by investigators. That is, according to those printing the report, the same rate as the flu and is much lower than the CFR for the ancestral strain or any of the other variants.
And the ZeroHedge article said the following: the CFR is always higher than the infection fatality rate (IFR), because many of the mildest and asymptomatic infections go undocumented, while the confirmed cases tend to have a bias toward those who are more evidently symptomatic.
In other words, Delta is literally the flu with a CFR identical to it. This is exactly what every respiratory pandemic has done through history: morphed into more transmissible and less virulent form that forces the other mutations out since you get that one. Nothing about masks, lockdowns, or experimental shots did this. To the extent this really is more transmissible, it’s going to be less deadly, as is the case with the common cold.
The Vatican is weighing in on the demand that all the world be vaccinated. Rapture Ready News for June 3 previews the story in its daily list of most relevant news items.
Vatican seeks all-out effort to combat vaccine hesitancy
The Vatican’s bioethics academy and the World Medical Association on Friday called for an all-out effort to combat vaccine hesitancy and correct the “myths and disinformation” that are slowing the fight against the coronavirus. They demanded that “all relevant stakeholders exhaust all efforts to…confront vaccine hesitancy by sending a clear message about the safety and necessity of vaccines and counteracting vaccine myths and disinformation.” (Ibid)
Control is the operative term in consideration of the drive toward vaccination, the likes of which has never been seen, planet-wide. Whether the vaccines are a justifiable means of controlling the virus or its variants is open to considerable conjecture. Time will perhaps tell if they are what they are claimed by CDC and others to be. –Or whether they are a means of bringing down populations –a claim that, while I don’t wholeheartedly accept, should, in my view, be granted some degree of credence. The stated goal of some globalists is to bring the world’s population down to under 500 million people, as engraved on the so-called Georgia Guidestone.
Control is what Antichrist will demand when instituting his 666 marks-and-numbering system. It seems that a considerable percentage of the world’s population is willingly susceptible (compliant) in eagerly taking a shot upon demand by those who want to rule rather than govern in most cases–at least from my perspective.
One writer, after citing numerous top experts’ opinions that masks don’t work, says the following, in part:
When I see people walking outside, often alone with no one anywhere near them, wearing a mask, my primary reactions are disappointment and sadness.
I am disappointed because I expected better from my fellow Americans. I never thought most Americans would be governed by irrational fears and unquestioning obedience to authority. I have come to realize that I had a somewhat romanticized view of my countrymen.
Had you told me a year ago that nearly every American in nearly every metropolitan area would cover their faces for over a year because one man, one political party, and the media told them to, I would have responded that you underestimate the strength of the American character…

A friend who emails me with news updates from time to time, whose name is, ironically, Mark, wrote the following in summation of his concerns for the vaccine militancy.
“What I’m driving at is that it all makes such good sense that it is going to be difficult to refute the common sense of it. And this will be the logic used to get the global population in line. It is all a precursor (I believe) to condition the world (and the United States especially) to taking the mark of the beast however it is administered.”
If you know Jesus Christ for salvation, according to Romans 10: 9-10, you will never have to worry about taking Antichrist’s mark. The current vaccinations for COVID, or for any other disease, is not that prophesied mark. It will come on the scene during the Tribulation, after the Rapture of the Church.
Whether you choose to take the vaccine or choose to resist taking it, the process, whether beneficial or detrimental in terms of human health, itself is, without question in my mind, part of a control process being implemented by the powers and principalities of Ephesians 6: 12.
Terry James Prophecy Line 
I have mentioned the fact that the human race is being “softened up” for the one-world dictatorship that the Bible tells us will exist in the last seven years of this age. The Covid “pandemic” is just one element, but an incredibly effective one in this process. I believe the general dulling of the human race’s mental faculties (let’s call it a “Reprobate Mind Pandemic) just make the job a whole lot easier.
I’d say part of the reason is the lousy job public education has been doing for the last few decades in the democracies. Add to the mix the legalization of cannabis in many states, a drug which chemically dulls the brain’s capacity to function properly. My own state of Connecticut recently gave a nod to this idiocy. I guess our fearless leaders figured there weren’t already enough ways for people to mess themselves up! Oh, here’s the icing on this cake: Cops can’t pinch someone if they jut smell marijuana in someone’s car.
I do, however, suspect the prime cause of this general mental decline is a systematic and relentless attack from the world of darkness (Ephesians 6:12).
Maybe that’s the reason America now has a president who clearly suffers from a mental deterioration – and that may not be wholly the result of his advanced years, either. Perhaps the election was influenced more by the foreign influence of the devil rather than Chinese or Russian tampering.
On a related note, here is an observation of our present time.
As the supposed Covid “crisis” now rapidly recedes, perhaps only temporarily, I think the eye of the hurricane is over us presently.
Now as a hurricane first approaches, the winds and storms slowly increase in intensity, maximizing at the eye wall, then suddenly dropping as it moves along. Suddenly, as the other side of the eye passes,the area beneath gets hit, not with gradually-increasing wind as it was at the beginning of the storm, but with full-force blasts almost immediately. If this analogy is right concerning our times, then the worst is yet to come and the onset will be profound both in rapidity and intensity.
Yet it may very well be that the Rapture will come before the other side of that eye hits this world when it will be least expected by a clueless populace, and perhaps even some believers might be caught by surprise but saved by their faith in Jesus nevertheless. This unexpectedness is exactly what the Bible has revealed so many centuries ago.
This is all the more reason for those of us who believe to keep looking up and watching for those eye wall clouds to start appearing over the horizon!
I called all this COVID-19 business “a dry-run” for the work of the beast as prophesied in Rev 13: 11-18.
I have read articles that have now given me more terms – presage, blueprint etc in place of dry run.
Other scripture verses describing the situation include Ephesians 6:12.

Rahm Emmanuel, former chief of staff for Barack Obama and former mayor of Chicago, once said, “You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it’s an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.”
Now it doesn’t matter if a crisis is real or contrived as long as you can convince people that it exists. Now that the “experts” and politicians see how successful this strategy worked this time, I guarantee it’ll be used repeatedly and finally by the “Man of sin” himself.

I agree with Terry James and with Ed Wood in their assessments of our current situation.
I have also been very concerned with the general mental decline. I am 75 years of age and so far my mental decline is negligible. However, I have been reeling from the constant systematic and relentless attacks from the darkness. It has been complicated by the lack of physical fellowship with other Believers. The Bible says not to forsake the gathering of ourselves together in worship, prayer and Bible Study. Prior to the 2020 lockdown, and it seemed the church was the first to lock down, we were actively participating in worship, Bible study and fellowship. Our church mandated mask wearing, no exceptions, and no physical contact.
I am unable to tolerate a mask for the length of a worship service without becoming light headed and ill so my husband and I decided we would watch on the internet. Good plan except our internet out in the hinterland (rural farm) is spotty. And so our worship and fellowship has been nonexistent. My husband is disabled and mostly confined to home due to CHF, COPD, diabetes, Parkinsonism, etc. As far as our congregation (including deacons and pastor) we seem to be nonexistent. I suspect that is true for many of the seniors.
We depend on Terry James, Jan Markell, and those she includes in her programming for our worship time. We do have prayer together daily in our home.
We are looking up and watching the storm clouds gather. I have been praying for God’s intervention. I can identify with Ed Woods’ reference to the storm approaching and the eye of the storm. We have been warned it will increase in intensity as the eye passes over. I feel we are in the eye but are about to get hit with the full blown winds of the other side of the storm, possibly this week.
I am so weary of it all. I am relying upon my Lord and Savior to give me strength and I rest in the protection of God the Father and the presence of the Holy Spirit. I have been a Christian for about 70 years and I can testify to the Love of God and His Guiding Hand in my life, His Protection of my family. I often think of the old sermon, The Hound of Heaven, and appreciate His Pursuit of his Children. But the Hound of Heaven is also protective and watchful over His Chosen ones. I look forward to Heaven and Home.

I’ll be 69 years old this year, which makes us contemporaries.I, too, am looking for that “heavenly country” we read about in the letter to the Hebrews. More and more I am a stranger in a strange and increasingly hostile land. Funny thing is, this Covid “crisis” really hasn’t made me feel much more isolated than I have since the turn of this century, and to a certain degree, most of my life.
As far as organized religion, I got out of that over ten years ago as it spiraled headlong into apostasy. My mother, thank God, is still alive and we have our own communion service each Sunday. Mentally, she’s as sharp as a tack. Me, well, the point on my tack is getting a bit blunted, I do believe, but if pressed against the cork board hard enough, it still manages to stick!
In addition, we have people like Terry James whose insight, faith, and intelligence is a constant source of inspiration – thank God for that!
The escalation and magnitude of the evil darkening our planet just can’t continue with impunity. My sense today is that the human race is rapidly exhausting God’s patience and that the time that we hear that upward call could really be any day now.
When it does happen, we’ll at last be in a place that will really be home!

I am so heartened by all of the above remarks. I personally believe Brother James has it identified correctly what’s happening with the information available to us to date. Brother James, I think it is your best Op-Ed ever that I have read. I am also so heartened by all of the above comments because we are all looking up and longing for the Lord’s appearing. There is a special reward for that. We are aliens to this world and sojourners. I am speculating here but I believe the Lord is grooming his followers to long even more for him by letting us witness the moral decay of this world. My heart aches for the Lord’s Return. I can tell all here who posted comments do also. On leaving organized religion Ed, as you know, the church is the body of believers, not a church building Our Lord tells us the following: Mat_18:20 “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them”.

I’d say just everyone who comes here to this site is part of the True Church – those just writing in to cast aspersions or to simply be argumentative, though they are thankfully rare, are operating from different motives than the rest of us.
For myself, I’m here to learn and I certainly enjoy the fellowship of Terry James, Dana Neel, who does such a great job running this site, and the reflections and support of other believers.

I am glad to see people are seeing what is coming over the horizon. I too believe this is a beta test to see how everyone will react, what ‘works”, what they need to change to achieve their goals. What I do believe is that those pushing all this may just be sheep, unknowingly doing the darks work.
This is bigger than just the pandemic. The pandemic is just one aspect of everything that is going on. Perhaps, God is allowing this to show us how to respond, how much more oppressive it can/will get. I think our job is to also watch how things progress, prepare for the worst, and have that red line where if it gets really obvious know what to do to save ourselves and others.
Watch the signs of the times, and maybe this is it, and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be coming back VERY soon. Also, by standing up to those who may get to the point where they demand people take the vaccine, it will be a primer for when the mark comes.
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, I have to make an admission. I do not know what to do if the Biden Storm Troopers come to my door trying to persuade me to take the “jab”. But more importantly, I do not know what to do if I am unable (without a Vax Passport) to go to church, to go to my docs (I hate going to the docs; but I need them, 74 here), cannot go to the store, cannot fly, can’t go to the gym (I enjoy that very much to stay in shape (I go 6 times a week), etc. That would put me in a precarious situation. I have not had covid nor have I had a vax shot. A gym is a high-risk place and so far I have not contracted it. Would some mind sharing their thoughts on this? Do most of you think I should take the vaxs in this possible scenario which I think is coming soon? Most people will not say one way or another, including my minister. I have no doubt this is the slippery slope Terry and others alluded to on here. Just today (7/9/21), the PM of Australia (drunk with power) in a stern fashion said in effect that “only people who live in your home can go there. There is to be absolutely NO VISITORS to your home during this new lockdown”. She told everyone as much as possible to stay inside; no browsing of supermarkets; order what you need by delivery). Whut???????

I’m 68 years old, so you and I been around about the same time to see all the changes the world has undergone over the decades. A lot of younger people don’t have this perspective so I think these changes are less recognized by them. You know the old truism that ignorance of the past condemns people to repeat it. The lessons of Hitler’s Germany, Stalin’s Russia, and Mao’s China are lost on them because I don’t think the schools have taught this stuff for decades – which brings us to the new totalitarianism we’re seeing grow in what were once democracies.
As to what to do about this new despotism, I’ve been constantly emailing and snail-mailing the politicians about what a fraud the Covid-19 restrictions have been and still are. Overall, with one exception, I’ve gotten “zippo” in response and the one I did get disagreed with me, but gave no evidence as to why. I’ve also done this one-on-one with people as the opportunities have arisen.
I plan to continue.
Now I did get the Johnson and Johnson vaccine, which seemed the least dangerous and is based on viral vector technology, which has been around since the 1970’s, on the outside chance it might actually work, just as I get a flu shot every year. I’ve also have gotten ones for pneumonia and shingles. So, I am certainly not an anti-vaxxer
I will, however, personally NEVER get the any of mRNA-based ones because they don’t have much of a track record. I’m still not sure I should have gotten J & J, but at this age, I have several heart problems that I figure are more likely take me out before the shot does. (Actually, I think it more likely the Rapture will remove me from this rock before then!)
Now, as to how I plan to handle the “Covid Police” if they show up at my door looking for my vax card, that all depends on their attitude.
If they’re pleasant, I’ll say, “I’ll show you mine if you show me yours,” then I’ll hand them a copy of my two-page “Covid Fraud” list.
If they’re belligerent, I’ll hand them a copy of my Covid Fraud list and a copy of Amendment Four (below) from the U.S. Constitution and then ask them to show me their search warrant:
“Amendment 4 – Search and Seizure. Ratified 12/15/1791.
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the
place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”
Also,I’ll include this quote: “The Older You Get, The Less Life In Prison Means.”
I just make it clear that this is one “old-timer” they “ain’t gonna” push around!!

Just home from the gym. Thanks to people like CNN, more people are starting to wear their masks again and watch their spacing. I am curious for anyone’s opinion about this, with medical issues potentially etc (minor issues now; but that could change), do viewers here plan on resisting taking the vaccine knowing that it would most likely result in severe freedom reductions and ostracizing? Is it time to draw a red line or just go along with the requirements to get the Vax Passport. I would appreciate any thoughts on that from Christians. The vax does legitimately spook me plus I think this whole thing is completely blown out of proportion as Brother James especially pointed out. I agree with that assessment. In addition, I don’t like to be forced to do anything, that is for sure. It is a weakness of mine.

Like you, i go to the gym six days a week, also. It was closed for a long time, but when it reopened, it required masks. Luckily, it is open 24-7 so I went really early and didn’t wear one even before getting the vax and never contracted Covid. That could have been just a lucky roll of the dice or maybe it isn’t as contagious as it has been made out to be.
Working out with a mask is the same as doing so at a high altitude. The last thing my heart needs is oxygen deprivation of any kind. The PA at my cardiologist’s office agreed! Other people in the health field I’ve spoken to have also expressed doubts about a lot of what we’ve been told about Covid-19.
In my opinion, unless you are using an N-95 or equivalent, a mask is USELESS! The Corona virus measures 1/10 micron (1/4,000,000 inch) in diameter. These homemade and surgical-style masks were ineffective in stopping smoke particles which are about the same size during the height of the California fires, so what does that say about them stopping Covid?
Furthermore, these things can provide a moist, warm environment which is an ideal breeding ground for all sorts of other nasty critters and fungi.
As i said, I am pushing back with my letters to my equally useless political “mis-representatives” and I will persist. Will it do any good? Maybe not, but if we do nothing, that certainly won;t do any good, right?
I don’t like being pushed around, either, especially by people who I think have an agenda, and a sinister one at that, other than my personal welfare.
I may be paranoid, or maybe they really ARE after me – which would mean that I’m not!
