America’s total and swift abandonment of its U.S. Air Force base near Kabul, Afghanistan, has even mainstream news media anchors confused. They found it almost impossible to find the words to cover for the president’s inability to form a cogent thought in answer to questions. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mike Milley, said on Wednesday, August 18, at a press conference, “there was nothing that I or anybody else saw that indicated a collapse of this army and this government in 11 days.”
President Joe Biden stood before microphones the same day and ranted about how COVID vaccines would be mandated, with only secondary mention of the thousands of civilian workers Americans left stranded in Afghanistan while the vicious Taliban horde moved to take over Kabul and everything else. Biden seemed oblivious to pointed questions even from his mainstream news sycophants. While Afghan women and girls as young as five years of age were being taken as sex slaves and the families of Afghanistan were being slaughtered, Biden seemed to have no idea about how to deal with what the American or Afghanistan military should do to handle the cut-and-run strategy his administration—either by omission or commission—chose to employ.
Afghan women were seen literally tossing their little children across barbed-wire fences to American military personnel to get them out of the country on C-17 and other aircraft that the U.S. Air force were trying to fly out of the Kabul airport in the panic to evacuate as many as possible.
Some of those flights saw men hanging from anything they could grasp while the planes lifted off. Some fell hundreds and even thousands of feet to their deaths. One aircraft had to make an emergency landing because the landing gear would not fully retract. That was because some men, trying desperately to flee the Taliban, had tried to hide in the massive landing-gear area to fly to safety. They were crushed to death, of course.
This abandonment of the people of Afghanistan and even of American citizens, leaving them to face their fate at the hands of some of the bloodiest terrorists on earth, is indicative of abandonment of another sort. The abandonment of God. The sheer chaos and confusion, the biblical argument can be made, is the result of the loss of ability to think clearly. The diminution of thought processes comes from anti-God wickedness.
I listened to many retired former top admirals and generals—none of which was necessarily political as to favoring one party or the other. Almost each person was dumbfounded at the way in which the Afghanistan pull-out proceeded. Some said that the president should resign, or at the very least, that the Joint Chiefs of Staff should resign in order to cover the president’s obvious ineptitude.
To me, this debacle—if one is so generous as to see it as mere debacle—is the coming to fruition of the madness we’ve witnessed in recent times.
The decision to pull out in a catastrophic manner from America’s obligations in Afghanistan comes on the heels of the political power responsible for the insane decision. The Democrat Party is the ideological bastion that long ago made it a point to kick God out of the party—i.e., to eliminate all mention of God as part of the party platform.
Since that decision, and even before, we have watched the so-called radical left take over the party in every respect.
They are the party, of course, who long ago championed abortion. At the same time, they championed causes of wildlife preservation, making certain animal mothers and their offspring are protected.
The party is the one that allowed the radicals to bring Critical Race Theory into the educational system, in effect instituting racism in reverse. They are the party that champions the evil Black Life Matters (BLM) rioters and looters. They use the killing of black men by police, which are far fewer in number than Caucasians killed by police, to give excuse to perpetrate their wickedness. At the same time, the ideology that supports BLM completely embraces abortion, which murders black babies by the hundreds of thousands every year.
This anti-God insanity declares that a person can be whatever gender they wish to be. Their birth certificate and sex at birth have no meaning in the transgender push in American culture.
They champion same-sex marriage and even every form of perversion between adults and children. This generation of anti-God adherents has come to the point that rational thinking is no longer possible, it seems.
Again, here is what God’s Word says happens and is happening in our nation and world today.
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. (Romans 1:28–32)
Having witnessed all the things just in the political arena as dissected above, can there be much doubt that God has turned a large portion of those who embrace such anti-God comportment over to upside-down thinking—to reprobate minds?
That wicked, reprobate thinking has, I’m convinced, been complicit in bringing fraudulent governance to this nation. Those anti-God forces have brought to the entire world leadership that is upside-down in thought and action. That is reprobate in every sense. It is an anti-God sort of thinking that is swiftly moving the nation and the world into an Antichrist global order.
We see the supreme, sardonic irony (God’s laughing the evil global principalities in high places to derision) in the fact that the office considered to be the leader of the free world is now occupied by a person who many, including renowned psychiatrists, believe to have progressing dementia; that’s another way of saying “having a reprobate mind.”
The craziness crisis through which we are living is a direct result of more and more people turning their backs on the One who created them. The dementia will get worse, and it will bring humanity near to the end of all flesh.
But first, Jesus Christ, our blessed hope, will call all of God’s children to Himself in the Rapture of the Church. Then God’s judgment and wrath will fall upon a world of rebels.
The only way to be rescued before this world must pay for its wickedness is, again, found in the following words of the Apostle Paul:
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9–10)
Thank you for your voice of reason and clarity in a time when all seems to be a swirling maelstrom of confusion, violence and insanity. I pray God continues to use you to shine a light in the darkness of this age. I know the End is coming and I pray for the Rapture. I remember the days of my youth and reading the prophecies and wondering how these things would ever come to pass. I was innocent and naive. I did not understand how depraved mankind could be.
Thank you brother Terry. So thankful for the brothers and sisters in Christ right now. Praying together. The people that get to go to Jesus in the rapture also are the ones to see and experience the times Jesus said would be here just before He comes. Like brother Terry describes, what many are experiencing, it’s beyond terrible. Looking up, Come Lord Jesus
How could you be so cruel as to equate dementia with a reprobate mind???
I’m 69 years old and I suffer from this horrible disease.
My mother and brother also suffered from it. They have passed away.
I’m a born again Christian and I love Jesus!
I’m totally surprised and disappointed that you chose to say such a thing.
I have those very close to me I love who have suffered or now suffer with Alzheimer’s disease. So I would never intentionally equate the physical organic diseases with spiritual dementia.
Those of the “reprobate” mind suffer from Spiritual dementia. This comes from turning one’s back on God, we are told in Romans chapter 1 and this spiritual condition totally convolutes their thinking and actions. We are witnessing this now with the leadership and party in charge of U.S. government. Also, the entire “WOKE” ideology is spiritually demented.
My apologies for not explaining more accurately what was meant.
Thank you for your explanation. I am sorry about your loved ones going through this process and those who have in the past.
I do want to add that I had recently been reading some of your books and find them hard to put down!!! Gotta keep reading it all the way through!!!
Kate
Kate, your profession of your faith here is inspiring and demonstrates a clarity of mind and wisdom that all too few people have anymore. By doing so, Jesus will likewise honor you before his Father.
Matthew {10:32} Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men,
him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
God bless!
Thank you!!!
Thank you, Terry James!! Please keep writing. I cling to the words of scripture and to writings by people such as you! Thank you so much!! My husband and I are reading your Second Coming Chronicles, and we are in book 3 of the trilogy. They are very edifying for us, also. May God continue to bless your work. We so badly need it!! Sincerely, Renee Lewis.

People of the world increasingly do not want to retain God in their thoughts, but they also increasingly do not want to retain God’s people in their mist. The Vaccine Passport trap that they are setting is so Christians will be corralled together for easy identification and persecution and eventual removal. Like as the Taliban is saying to the Christians in Afghanistan, “We know who you are and we are coming for you.” Governments are saying the same thing to Christians. They want to put an end to us and true Christianity. They are going to (suddenly) get their wish. God also knows who we are and is coming for us. And I don’t think it will be very long before He does either.
Ps. Thank you for your wonderful articles. ♡
Yes, Donna, I agree with your analysis!
Clarity, how rare. Thank you.
I am looking for our Blessed hope Titus 2:13. I was thinking, due to the spiralling Godlessness of the nihilistic ‘free’ West’ and people claiming they don’t need a saviour, if we too would have to go through what the Afghani Christians are going through and the Nigerian Christians for over 20 years, now. Jesus did say we would be hated for His Name’s sake and man is brutal.
Christians being hunted down door-to-door in Afghanistan for slaughter is just a preview of what will become universal, once the Antichrist comes to power. Militant Muslims often use beheading as their instrument of execution, just as Revelation reveals will be the same fate for those who don’t roll over for this last and worst of Earth’s tyrants. It can hardly be a coincidence since Satan is behind all of it. It’s all the same methods from the same source of evil. Only the specifics of times, places, and faces change.
If someone were to tell me two years ago that the world would come to the place it is today so quickly, I doubt I would have believed it. It has a feeling of unreality to it, even though it is sadly very real, indeed.
Even though I am a believer and have studied Bible Prophecy for a long time, it is hard to watch these things happen, even though I know that they must.
The only solace is that I also know that God has the last word and that he will NOT leave us comfortless.
Jesus is coming SOON!
Maranatha!
Thank you. Amen
Preach it Brother James. Spot on.
Kate: You are absolutely right . I am sorry to read of your condition. I will pray for you. Dementia is a horrible disease .The reprobate minds are those who put Joe biden in office and who knowingly keep him there.
Who will ever trust America again?. Obama nearly destroyed the country while he was in office. Now he and his shadow Government have all but finished the job with his puppet in place. So cinical. It was supposed to be Hillary Clinton but through their cheating they have succeeded in a suitable replacement
The good news is that we will see a Revival such as we have never known. I have had at least 7 visions concerning this, over a period of many years . The Bible, too, is in agreement . God will pour out his spirit on all flesh. There will be healing. There will also be a separation of the wheat from the chaff . Those who have prayed for so long for loved ones may well have reason for joy. I too long for the Rapture, but not until many others are saved. God is of this mind and will do it. People have desparately sold out to the Rapture and say nothing can happen before it occurs. This is untrue. Only what God says and does matters and He does nothing unless He reveals it first to His servants the prophets. Where are they?
Thank you!
Thank you Terry James for the one sound writer on the Jan Markel website. We appreciate your God sense. There may be others too but I am a little concerned about some of the articles chosen. May we have Gods wisdom and discernment in this mixed up world.
Thanks for such a good article. You are absolutly right, even though I disagree with you about this doctrine of the so called Rapture, but I think you are a good christian.
It is shocking what is happening in the world right before our eyes . It is also disturbing that believers don’t believe or care. My brother is helping me after I had knee replacement surgery. He is a Christian and yet I can do nothing to interest him in endtimes Bible Prophecy. I even wrote a book on the endtimes, but no one is interested at all. The Democrats are completely insane. I don’t know how much more I can watch being helpless to communicate with believers as well as unbelievers. They just don’t care. It doesn’t matter. It is a very humble experience for me when even what I have prepared for others is treated as worthless refuse by the world and by my brothers and sisters in the Lord Jesus.
Ted, I feel your disappointment. Here’s a true story in my life. If I talk to someone, to try and “witness”, I ask them if they go to church. It’s a good opening line. I ask a young gentleman that question at the gym 2 weeks ago and he said “No”. I witnessed to Him and told him I believe Jesus is returning very soon. I closed by saying “I hope you will at least think about it”. He said he would. I let it slide for 2 weeks. I ran into him and ask him if he thought about our conversation? He said “what conversation”? Talk about disappointing. I told him again “I thought Jesus was returning soon and that all it takes to spend eternity in Heaven rather than Hell is to believe in Him. Surely you can see things are not normal”. Then I repeated again what I said before: “I hope you think about it” and I left. Unless he reaches out, I will most likely not do it again. Ted, we have done all we can do. Plant the seed and let the Holy Spirit nourish it. It is up to God now is my belief. .
Hi, Glenn.
Just think how disappointed Jesus must have been, when despite all the evidence he provided, most of this own people didn’t believe him.
Even now that there is convincing evidence of his resurrection, most of the world, and sadly, much of what passes for the “church” today, still doesn’t accept the Jesus as portrayed in the Bible!
Bernard: Where have you been? For much of the time , the church at large has ignored Bible prophecy and deliberatly surpressed it in pusuance of its own goals, whatever they may have been. I was told we must not allow prophecy to distract us from our main purpose. The Rapture is a typical example . It is vital doctrine. Unfortunately, as things get worse, some Christians have become desparate for God to ” take us out of here”. God is
at work through what is happening .Romans 8 :28 tells us that ” in all things God works for good ,to those who love Him and are the called, according to His purposes.” We should therefore be content to allow Him to do that work in us. The Rapture will come in His time.Meanwhile, there is something special in store which I would not want to miss. Many years ago God told me ‘to write down His words and all that He shows me’. I now am on my 7th exercise book , each of 94 leaves, 188 pages. I refer to them oocasionally but recently He told me to read them all again.I have just finished the first book. I am staggered at the ‘treasure trove’ I have found so far. I have .read 8 recorded visons and 3 dreams concerning a powerful Revival which is to come on the earth in these last days. The prophet Joel wrote “In the last days I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh, says The Lord..This is referred to again in the Book of Acts,Chapter 2. You could say that it was a partial fulfillment at Pentecost but I say that it was a foretaste. In many times past Christians have said ” We need another Pentecost!’ We do and we will see it. World-wide. I have assurance that I will experience it (in one of the visions above) It will also be an answer to many prayers, for as yet , unsaved family, friends and others. The most significant word I have noted is ‘separation continues ‘.. That must mean a separation of ‘ wheat and chaff’. I suspect that many nominal or back-slidden Christians will become either ‘ in or out’. This is surely the grand finale of all times. Who would want to miss it?
I have become increasingly concerned about the way in which many are regarding the Rapture as God’s escape plan. I admit that I too have felt like that in times past. ‘Beam me up Scotty ” has been my silent wish. That is not what God wants of us, however. It is important to know that it will come . That is why He told us about it, but we are God’s troups. We are overcomers and we will be faithful to the end . We know we have the victory We are a light in this world and that light should shine increasingly more brightly.
(There is a so called doctrine of imminence regarding the Rapture. ie it can come at any time. It is false doctrine. A twisting of words. It was written nearly 2000 years ago). It will not happen tonight , nor tomorrow, nor next week. There are things which will occur first. How do I know this? Because God has said so.The outpouring of His Holy Spirit will be the answer to many of our prayers . A glorious time and many will joinus in the Rapture as a consequence. Would you deny them this as late comers?
Let us rather go on in faith knowing that He who has called us is faithful and just and will perform His word and we shall do valiantly, more that you could ever have imagined.
I think we we need to occupy until Jesus returns, it’s academic if people won’t listen to the Gospel, that is their choice, but some do and we must share such a precious gift and expect opposition, verbal, physical or worse.
Knowing our Father, He will push to the very last moment to have His Son’s banquet filled. HALLAL U YAH!
Hello, Harvey.
I do think that the outpouring of the Spirit will increase to some degree in these Last of the Last Days, but I think it will be focused upon believers, and, to a lesser degree, those who may come to believe because of heir efforts. I think, in some way, they will be given a “heads-up” regarding the Rapture.
Unfortunately, I do not think there will be a wholesale revival at a significant level at this stage of history, The reason I think this is so? Well, everything I read in the Bible shows an unmistakable trend toward a godless world where Christians are increasingly hated and marginalized even before the Tribulation when the persecution will be at its worst.
Today, the effects of evil are already growing exponentially, this past year and a half being a prime example. Despite of, or maybe even because of the media increasingly becoming the mouthpiece of the extreme left, we are seeing stories of sexual perversion being glorified, kids being indoctrinated in race hatred, Christians being cast as intolerant bigots, etc. In short, it is very much a case of good being cast as evil, evil as good, just as Isaiah described (Isaiah 5:20). Humanity will become more universally wicked and evil (2 Timothy 3:1-5).
“Good” is clearly NOT winning down here, nor will it until Jesus returns at the end of the Tribulation to make things right, accompanied by the saints from all the ages to help in the administration of his righteous government (Daniel 7:9-14; Revelation 19:1-16).
Now there will be a revival of sorts during the Tribulation when 144,000 Jews are sealed as we see in Revelation (Revelation 7:4), however the most profound one will come when Israel and the survivors of the Trib. years finally recognize and accept Jesus as the Messiah when he returns (Revelation 1:7; Revelation, chapter 19).
Well said Brother Ed. I concur completely with everything you said. America is no more.
Hi Ted,
The church is full of pessimism as people have listened to expressions of doom and gloom from those who have the platform . Please read the words of Joel again. They are not just for a few at Pentecost but for the whole world (all flesh) upon which God will pour out His Spirit. Your words give me a poor impression of God.but it is only what you think! The Church must wake up. We are the people of God, chosen and called . Do you really think He is so ineffective, as the escape mentality supposes?
I am not speaking from my own opinion but what God has revealed to me. I have no reputation, standing or plarform, that people should believe me.rather than the false teachers who lead the sheep astray,.but when these things come to pass they will know the truth. The separation of which God speaks makes it quite clear. This will be an opportunity for many to make up their minds before the rapture as to what they truly believe.
We can have different interpretations of God’s Word as we are fallible sinful human beings as we walk this planet in the flesh. I could be wrong in certain areas and I admit that and try not to forget it. On smaller issues secondary to basics, I caution myself not to be overly dogmatic. As I have matured in the faith, I have changed my beliefs many times and eaten crow.I am sure I will again, but hopefully not as frequently. Let’s remember one thing: We as believers in Jesus Christ are still brothers and sisters. Amen!!!!
You know, I think the “real church,” which I define as being composed of those who believe that the Bible is the ultimate authority when it comes to revealing the truth about God is Spirit filled and actually wide awake. I see the evidence of that right here on this website. Just read Terry’s commentaries and the responses which accompany them. Now this doesn’t mean everyone is right on every topic that comes up, (I certainly know that I’m not!) but it shows that they care enough to want to engage in a discussion which, by and large, remains civil and respectful. (Totally unlike what we see in the secular world, isn’t it?)
I suspect that though God may indeed pour out his Spirit upon all flesh, said flesh must be willing to accept it. God is a gentleman and does not force himself on anyone. This is clearly evident in Jesus’ earthly ministry after his First Advent. He provided the testimony and backed it up with compelling evidence in the signs (miracles) that he demonstrated. After that, he left it up to each person to decide what he or she wanted to do with the information provided. The same principle is in operation today, with the Bible evidence still present
A good example of the rejection of the Spirit on a massive scale today, in my view, is the condition of most of what what passes for “organized religion.” I define it collectively, regardless of denomination, as a lukewarm, neo-Laodicean entity which has willingly accepted the doctrines of devils, rather than the Doctrines of God!
It’s pretty easy to see how this false church will probably by the first to welcome the coming “man of sin” with open arms!
Thanks to Jesus’ sacrifice of himself for everyone who believes in him, those of us who have accepted his testimony and received God’s Spirit won’t be here when that happens!
Hi Glenn, I agree with what you say, but my concern is that the Church is being carried away by opinion expressed by those who have the platform and not by the word of God. What I think, can and does change but Gods Word (the written word and His Rhema) does not change. We must be extremely careful in how we interpret His word.We must not allow mood or attitude to interfere. I too have had many years to learn this. However, God reminded me recently that I am a watchman and it is my responsibility to warn of what He shows me beforehand. It is of no use afterwards. That I have endeavoured to do.. As Christians we all have a responsibilty.to weigh the warnings as well as everything else we see and hear. Some of the saints need to be rallied at the moment and not be carried away by undue empasis on the Rapture, which they now see as a rescue miossion. God would have us focus on the promised outpouring of His Spirt which will transform us and give us a fresh perspective on the Blessed Hope which follow.. What you might consider as dogmatic in my attitude about the coming Revival is born of the fact that at last count (still climbing ) I have received 18 words from the Lord (dreams and visions ) which re-affirm my belief that it is truth and not opinion. Ask yourself!
I hope that this is not seen as arrognace but the confidence which The Lord has given me to share the good news.
You could be right Brother Harvey. I am not offended or see it as “arrogance”. Do what you feel you are being led to do. Have a blessed day.
Ed,
I agree entirely with what you say about the church. Every where the Greek word ‘ekklesia’ ( meaning the called out ones) is used in the New Testament) it is translated as church.Every time. The word has stuck and so we have had confusion and misunderstanding from the beginning.I have gotten into hot water by trying to point out this truth. No wonder Jesus said (Mark 7:7) ‘And in vain they worship Me ,teaching as doctrines the commandments of men’ We are the saints. Born again. Set apart.. The rest are, sadly, just ‘wallpaper’. Even Satan has his churches. The word had no more meaning than ‘bucket’ without qualification. The church is like a ‘sacred cow’ taking a place of prime importance over God’s own people.
