Greatly enjoyed your time with Happy Caldwell on Arkansas Live. People need to hear that so thatthey are encouraged in knowing that, as believing Christians, they will not have to experience the70th week of Daniel. Lord BlessMark

I listened to all three messages this morning. Instead of running from prophecy, I search for it, study it and listen to solid eschatologists like Terry and a few others who have come forth in these last days.

Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy, so why wouldn’t we seek it, and Him, out?! As Terry pointed out, we are to comfort one another with His words. Those and the words the Holy Spirit gave to the prophets provides understanding into what we are experiencing and what is to come. It seems rather clear to me now that a desire to understand prophecy is a gift of the Holy Spirit because most Believers do not have it. I think that is why there is a Crown of Righteousness given to those who long for His appearing…because not every Believer does.

There is no truth outside of scripture, especially in these Last Days. And if you don’t have a biblical worldview, along with a prophetic biblical lens, you will likely be confused, frightened, anxious and likely angry. This is true even for Believers, but most especially for the unredeemed. No wonder the world is growing darker and more evil by the day.

God is so GRACIOUS to tell us what His plans are…from beginning to end. He certainly has no obligation to do so! Contrast Him to all of the false gods of the world (created by Satan) who are murderers, liars, capricious, licentious, selfish, deceitful, filled with pride and envy, and ultimately powerless. Is there any better contrast to the nature of Jesus versus Satan?!

It is heartbreaking that the majority of humanity love this world (and their sin) so much that they can’t imagine humbling themselves before our Lord and taking refuge in Him. For us, who know and trust His plan, we have hope! And peace in His assurance.

Jesus Christ, the Lord of Armies and the King of Kings is the only escape and the only joy to be found. It has always been so, but never more obvious than the days we live in right now.

    • Ed Wood's avatar Ed Wood says:

This was a great series, isn’t it, Robin? That most of the world, especially organized religion, is either ignorant or dismissive of prophecy is no surprise. Paul explains the reason this is so:

Romans {1:28} And even as they did not like to retain God in [their] knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient.

1 Corinthians {2:14} But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them,] because they are spiritually discerned. {2:15} But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. {2:16} For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

Without God, the reasoning process begins to fall apart, just like an an engine which is never maintained leaving it vulnerable to the kind of moral inversion we see today. Where it will end up, well, Isaiah already showed us when addressing his own people:

Isaiah {5:20} Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! {5:21} Woe unto [them that are] wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! {5:22} Woe unto [them that are] mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink: {5:23} Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him! {5:24} Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, [so] their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away
the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel. {5:25} Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcases [were] torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand [is] stretched out still.

The world can’t say it hasn’t been warned!!

      • robinlinaz's avatar robinlinaz says:

Yes you are right. I believe there is a small remnant of Believers in the USA. At this juncture, most claim faith for reasons that have nothing to do with salvation or humble gratitude.

I pray that everyone who is considered worthy be included in the Rapture, and yet I’m concerned that the number will be much smaller than people think.

God knows best and His will be done…all for His glory.

      • Ed Wood's avatar Ed Wood says:

You are right, Robin. God’s moral standards are like those of our universe.

For example, nothing can move faster than light (Star Trek and Star Wars not withstanding). Another is that wherever you have mass, you have gravity. The greater the mass, the greater the gravity. These are absolute rules which apply everywhere in the universe.

Therefore, it is totally consistent with God’s character that this “absolute” quality applies to his laws about what is right and what is wrong.

The attitude of people of an indifferent God is not a new thing:

Zephaniah {1:12} And it shall come to pass at that time, [that] I will search Jerusalem with candles, and punish the men that are settled on their lees: that say in their heart, The LORD will not do good, neither will he do evil. (circa 630-635 B.C., shortly before the invasion by Nebuchadnezzar)

Of course, it is totally wrong. God is omniscient and nothing escapes his sight and he deals with individuals and nations accordingly. The Bible illustrates this clearly and repeatedly throughout its pages.

As you also correctly said, these naysayers will soon get an education.

  3. Ed Wood's avatar Ed Wood says:

    EXCELLENT!!!!

Just like Jesus’ Times, even the so-called experts of the established religion could not perceive the signs of their times and recognize who he was. It is the same in most of “Organized Religionland”
today. It is now like an appendix – doesn’t do you any good, but it can sure do you a lot of harm!

As to the replication of the days of Noah and Lot, we have rampant evil, which in itself has become “business as usual.” Also, in Noah’s time we had the contamination of the human gene pool by fallen angels interbreeding with human women to produce hybrid offspring (Genesis 6:1-4), something now successfully being performed on living organisms. I would not at all be surprised that it has already reached the human level in some clandestine labs somewhere.

As for as Lot’s time, we have the not only the legalization of sexual perversion, but the praise of it and condemnation of anyone standing against it incorporated into the “business as usual” pattern. Look at those incidences where Christian business people are getting sued for refusing to provide products for homosexual marriages

Now the promotion of unnatural relations is being brought right into schools and so-called churches.

Most of the world presently, including the so-called church, can’t recognize the signs of these times any more than the people of Noah’s, Lot’s, or Jesus’ times did back then. Maybe this ignorance, too, is yet another sign of how close we are to the close of this age and our meeting Jesus in the clouds.

    • robinlinaz's avatar robinlinaz says:

It is true, Ed. Just like in the book of Judges, everyone does what is right in their own eyes.

Human beings grade on a curve and compare themselves to others instead of God’s Holy, Holy, Holy standards. Most don’t even know God’s standards! They believe that the whole world is fornicating, lying, stealing, murdering (and aborting), dishonoring their parents, strutting about with pride, coveting and reveling, with hard hearts toward the needy, and God hasn’t yet brought righteous judgment down upon THEM, so it must be ok. Or He can’t see it. Or He doesn’t care. Sadly, a most terrible surprise is coming.

      • Ed Wood's avatar Ed Wood says:

My reply to this actually showed up above, Robin. Looks like something went wrong with the transporter and it materialized the message at the wrong coordinates. Must have been something wrong with those after-market dilithium crystal replacements I just installed.

      • robinlinaz's avatar robinlinaz says:

Haha, that must have been the reason!

      • Ed Wood's avatar Ed Wood says:

        Yep. reckon so!
