World-Rending Catastrophism Imminent

From Your Dictionary: Catastrophism definition: The prediction or expectation of cataclysmic upheaval, as in political or social developments. https://www.yourdictionary.com › catastrophism

There is a phenomenal build-up toward something fearful that permeates the human psyche. Even though much of the world, particularly here in the United States, is totally oblivious, the build-up is sensed by anyone and everyone who thinks outside of their self-orbit, their incremental, moment-by-moment existence.

The expressed thinking verbalized by many might take the form of “The world has gone crazy.” Or “This is completely insane.” However, the frustration is framed, evidence that induces such frustration is in every direction one looks at this present moment.

I’m convinced that this growing world-wide angst is generated by and inspired by the scheming of such would-be world rulers, as found within the World Economic Forum (WEF).

By this, I mean these Ephesians 6:12-type minions of the human sort include in their wicked planning, creating such fears through their chaos so as to set the stage for what is to come. This, I believe, is at the heart of the thing of evil they term “The Great Reset.”

Of course, no mere human agency could come up with nor could implement such a massively affecting plan. The demonic minions of that Ephesians 6:12 cabal are incessantly doing their worst in order to please Lucifer the fallen one, doubtless the chief fomenter of the Build Back Better Great Reset. And it’s really the same old construction blueprint – just a neo-Bable redo but with exponentially increased fervor – thus because the chief architect knows this is it. This world system has reached the final moments on God’s Prophetic Clock. Lucifer must get done what is necessary to try and save himself from what the God of Heaven, Creator of all things, Who cannot lie, has Declared is Lucifer’s fate.

So, I have given the commentary the title: World-Rending Catastrophism Imminent.

Satan must, in short order, bring the world to this point of rebellion against all things godly; thus, he must believe in his totally reprobate thinking and prevent God’s Prophecy from fulfillment – the Prophecy found in the Psalms.

“Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel. Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him” (Psalms 2:6-12).

The kings, the potentates, the judges, and the vast majority of humanity fit into the designation “heathen” of this prophecy. For broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many go down that road. While narrow is the gate that leads to God, and few there are who go therein, Jesus said.

Satan observably has the heathen raging down that broad way to destruction. Jesus must, the Psalms prophecy tells, deal in great Judgment against this rebelliousness. This is, of course, what the approaching Tribulation will entail. This is the catastrophism that is impending, and even many among the heathen sense its approach.

Still, the old serpent who brought iniquity into the world afflicts lost mankind with his insane rage, as is observable to those in God’s family who are spiritually attuned to the issues and events of the hour.

One writer I find observant in this regard has synopsized rather succinctly the nucleus evil being perpetrated by the Ephesians 6:12 cabal –at least by the human minions within that wickedness in high places.

WEF founder and director Klaus Schwab brags about how he has “penetrated the cabinets” of Canada’s Justin Trudeau, France’s Emmanuel Macron, and many other governments with WEF Young Global Leaders. The WEF trains these young leaders to change the world through all-encompassing digital surveillance technology and public-private partnerships (a perfect breeding ground for fascism).

So don’t expect the pummeling of citizens’ basic rights and freedoms to end anytime soon. Trudeau is very much a puppet, just like Joe Biden here in America, Olaf Scholz in Germany, Macron in France, and Sunak in the U.K., and you can see how their policies mirror each other on climate change hysteria, gun control, cracking down on free speech, the obsession with vaccines, ever-expanding abortion rights, and the whole LGBTQ agenda…

Slay News concludes:

“There is no easier way to control the masses than to control their access to money and their ability to buy, trade, and freely move about.”

All of this will be controlled by tracking your data and sharing it with the various choke points of social control – your freedom of movement, your freedom of expression, assembly, religion, your freedom to have an opinion, your freedom to remain anonymous, your freedom to buy and sell, and most importantly of all your freedom to have a free will.

Will AI control the world? Absolutely. The question is, will you submit to it?

[Source: Globalists are constructing AI-powered control grid designed to end independent journalism and free speech on the internet, Leo Hohman, leohohmann@substack.com, March 18, 2024]

All of this means that there is impending Judgment from God Who will bring all back under control by placing His Son upon the Millennial Throne in Jerusalem. Meantime, there is great catastrophism about to occur in this rebellious, anti-God world. It will begin when Jesus Christ calls all of God’s Family alive on the planet, along with those believers who have died during this Age of Grace, into His Presence upon the Clouds of Glory.

Seven years of catastrophic Judgment will then commence upon a planet that Satan will assault, with Antichrist’s dictatorship being allowed to rage for a time.

You don’t want to be on Earth at that, the worst time of human history, according to the Lord Jesus (Matthew 24:21). Here is how to go to Christ when He rescues God’s Family.

“That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9-10).

As I see it, the presence of Spirit-indwelt believers works in exactly the manner of Ephesians 6:12. It causes us to make a visible and physical stand against the encroaching evil and lets the Holy Spirit also carry on the same effort in the spiritual realm.

When I went for Confirmation classes as a young teen, we were taught that a sacrament is “an outward and visible sign of an inward spiritual grace.”

Our daily battles likewise reflect this dual nature, as I see it. Imperfect though we are, we also conduct the warfare on both levels.

When we are gone, evil will no longer have this opposition.

As bad as this world is now, it will be so much worse then.

A question to the people who have usually had comments here:

    WHERE ARE YOU??

I miss seeing what others are thinking about the topics that Terry obviously spends a lot of time researching and bringing up. He deserves our support.

The days are growing short and it’s important that we all stay engaged.

    • robinlinaz's avatar robinlinaz says:

Hi Ed, I can only speak for myself.

It seems we keep covering the same information over and over again so I don’t feel I have much new to contribute.

There is a great deal of conflict, even among the brethren these days…over bad theology, arguing about things that aren’t salvific issues, looking for disagreement rather than harmony. I don’t want to engage in more conflict (the world offers plenty these days) so I have opted to remain quiet most of the time. I’m guarding my heart and mind.

Like many people, redeemed and not, I sense things are truly converging, and believe it will soon take us into the next level of catastrophe. The wickedness, lawlessness and violence that is underway weighs heavily on my heart. I dread June (Pride Month) and the explosion of immorality and reprobate behavior that is coming. It’s bad enough already and I can see the preparations Satan has underway. Maybe we will be raptured before then?! How I pray…

Yesterday, I had an appointment with my doctor. She is a smart lady, and I prayed before our meeting that the Holy Spirit would open the door for me to witness the gospel to her. He did just that! She and I spoke at length about a number of questions she has about eschatological topics. She kept asking questions and I kept answering…and I let her know Jesus is the ONLY escape from what is coming. (She sees the medical system is collapsing, that the eugenics agenda is well under way, and is aware of a number of other subjects that people usually run from.)

It felt so good to be about the Lord’s business, and I was uplifted the rest of the day. I invited her to my church, and told her I am willing to answer any questions or meet with her if she’d like. I don’t save anyone, that is the work of the Holy Spirit, but it sure feels great to be the messenger. This is where I am trying to direct my energy now, although I am still keeping vigilant eyes on all that I can follow.

My Bible is my refuge, along with my church. We have a large women’s conference coming next weekend with Susan Heck, and I am filled with hopeful anticipation to spend 2 days with hundreds of faithful women who are gathered for study and worship.

We are called to stay in the battle, to persevere, to keep our eyes on Jesus and to lift up our heads and watch. The Lord knew it would be hard for us in these last days. Even while we aren’t yet under active persecution like our brothers and sisters in the 10-40 window, when we are indwelled by the Spirit, surely we are under attack day and night.

The Bible tells us that what is happening in the Heavens is played out (to a lesser degree) here on earth. The battles must be quite fierce in that future, eternal domain. Our great and glorious consolation is that Jesus has already won the war and we are victorious in Him alone! Praise His name, forever and ever!

      Maranatha

I also have had opportunities to witness to people about my thoughts on the fact that I have a Biblical world view and that the Bible flawlessly revealed events ahead of its time that are now history to us. Because this is so, it shows us that it can also be relied upon to be just as reliable regarding the things yet to come.

In these darkening times, I think that defending the faith is exactly the thing we are supposed to do, and you are certainly doing that. I have found that God puts us where we need to be. In my case, it also shows that he is capable of using tools from a very compromised tool box to still manage to get the job done.

As far as conflict goes, I have a certain tendency to “mix it up” when needed. I was pretty much “in their face” twenty years ago with the clergy who were leading the Episcopal Church into apostasy before I saw it was a lost cause. Even now, when a couple of local churches sponsored a “drag bingo” event and “Winter Solstice” walk during Advent, I fired off a couple letters to the local papers criticizing these things, both of which got published. Naturally, I got some negative feedback, but, hey, that goes with the territory.

I am not in the practice of forcing my views on anyone but it the subject comes up or a I see a blatant assault against biblical truth, I’m all in.

Recently, I emailed this to my two Connecticut senators:

        “April 2, 2024

        I am DISGUSTED!

It is bad enough that America no longer respects the Judeo-Christian principles upon which it was founded but when our nation’s chief executive issued that outrageous proclamation which defied both God and science to promote the psychological problems which often result in the mutilation of children and other troubled individuals on Easter Sunday, I had to speak up.
By the way, don’t bother disrespecting me again by sending your usual form letter response which never has anything to do with what I wrote you in the first place.”

May God continue to bless you in your witness.

were predicted flawlessly in the Bible and that

There is an extra piece of a sentence following my conclusion in my response, Robin. I’ll just blame my computer, rather than my own ineptitude!

    • Bonnie's avatar Bonnie says:

Ed, Robin, I pray you and all our fellow followers of Terry are well and safe. I’ve not been posting because I’ve been dealing with the death of my first-born son, unexpectedly, one month ago today. I’ve now lost both my sons to hereditary heart trouble in 3 yrs. and 2 1/2 mos. God is with me, and I know I’m in His care and will make it through this.

The days are indeed dark, and grow darker with every minute that passes. And I find myself wondering just how much longer God will have us endure, because we can be certain that His throne is being inundated with cries from the suffering. We are still so fortunate here, but we will need His strength to stand strong through what’s coming. I pray daily for His comfort and to keep His children in His arms.

Please pray for me and with me. I’ve never known a time like this, but I know there are so many of His children suffering far more than we are.

      Yes, God, Maranatha.

      • robinlinaz's avatar robinlinaz says:

Bonnie, I am so very sorry to hear about your son’s passing. To outlive our children/grandchildren is the worst of all sorrows and I grieve with you in your loss.

You are so right, the cries of the Church must be growing louder by the hour…and yet we know God is sovereign. Romans 8:28 is the promise that whatever happens, providentially it is for our ultimate good.

Bonnie, I’m sending you many hugs and prayers, asking the Lord that your sorrows will be shortened and you will be rejoined with your boys in eternity, soon.

      • Bonnie's avatar Bonnie says:

Robin, I wrote a response to your kind words hours ago, and I thought I had posted it, but I guess I goofed since it isn’t here. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and prayers. The hugs are especially nice!

You’re so right, of course; this is a grief for which there is no solace. Only God can help me through it, but the love and prayers of friends is such a comfort and help.

And yes, soon we’ll all be united with our loved ones who’ve gone ahead of us to be a welcome. Soon, please God.

Thank you again. I’m so grateful for your caring and concern.

And hopefully I’ll get this response posted correctly…

      • Ed Wood's avatar Ed Wood says:

Bonnie, I am so terribly saddened and sorry to hear of the loss of your son. You are and will be in my prayers, absolutely. Your incredible faith in the midst of this very dark personal time for you is an inspiration to me and I’m sure also will be to anyone else who reads of it here.

I am convinced that you will soon see your son again in a perfect glorified body as that day of the “upward call” most be incredibly close now.

May God bless and watch over you – and we will soon meet face to face in the clouds.

      • Bonnie's avatar Bonnie says:

You blessed me with your consoling words. Thank you.

I just saw today that there is a new animated 3D map of the universe made with a new type of telescope that shows a sort of ‘trip’ through space and all the billions of galaxies. Those of us who know God can watch it in the utmost awe at all the incredible splendor He spoke into creation. The same God who created all that, loves me, a broken and sinful nothing. I who have done nothing to merit such love. We are all so very much stronger than we think, with God’s arms holding us up.

Thank you to all for the prayers. He hears every single one.

      • Ed Wood's avatar Ed Wood says:

Bonnie, I have been interested in astronomy from a very early age. The first time I saw the moon through a telescope was incredible – seeing Saturn and its rings was amazing. The farthest I’ve seen through a scope when my eyesight was a lot better than it is now was a galaxy 11 million light years out. It was only a smudge of light but to think that I was looking at light rays that left it 11 million years ago was almost beyond imagination.

I believe I’ve seen that video you mentioned. I think it was taken with the James Webb infra-red telescope and it is fantastic. That the God who made all of that still is concerned about each of us is even more remarkable than all the things we can see in this universe. That he humbled himself to become one of us and suffer a horrible death to save all those who would accept this gift is beyond my comprehension, though I know it is true.

Just as an artist is so much more than the artwork he or she creates, God is even more so than the cosmos he created.

And pretty soon we will get to meet him face to face!

    • Jamie's avatar Jamie says:

I only comment occasionally but the reasons I think engagement is low are many.

      1. This is a very niche website. Not many people who agree with the soon literal return of christ.
      2. the website is not optimized for commenting.
      3. Topics are not written in a way that suggests engagement is a priority. It’s more informative which is fine.
      4. The people I have replied to usually never reply back to me.
      • robinlinaz's avatar robinlinaz says:

You make some sensible points Jaime.

      • Ed Wood's avatar Ed Wood says:

I hope I’m not one of those who never replied to your comments and I wanted to make sure I didn’t fail to do so today, Jamie.

True, a lot of people may not be interested in the topics which appear here. Many have already made up their minds that those who do are part of a lunatic fringe, I suppose and some will never change their minds about that.

Still, I imagine there are those who are “fence-sitters” and are open-minded enough to see what is here and thoughtfully consider that, “Hey, maybe these people are onto something!”

As for the ability to comment, the fact that a 71-year-old guy like myself with only an average I.Q. figured it out means it isn’t all that bad, right?

As far as inviting comments, I figure that just making it possible to do so is an encouragement in itself. I have also found that Terry doesn’t “cancel” anyone who might disagree on such things as climate change, etc. There has never been an issue about presenting “young-Earth” “old-Earth” viewpoints, both of which have had equal access here.

What I really like is how the majority of the people who come here are also similarly respectful of each other, even though they may disagree.

Anyhow, these are some of my thoughts.

        God bless.!

Ed, everything we do, we do for the Lord. My church gave the most beautiful message about Psalm 23 this morning. It is such a comfort to understand who the Lord is and that we are His.

Such a balm to my soul today. https://www.youtube.com/live/0Rf3_hqeG2k?feature=shared

I am grateful for a beautiful Lord’s Day.

    • Ed Wood's avatar Ed Wood says:

Thank you for the link, Robin. The psalm is a certain reminder that we are not alone and that just like the shepherd has much greater intelligence and judgment than the sheep he watches over, so much more is God over us.

Human nature, being what it is, doesn’t like the idea that anyone knows better than we do. Satan didn’t, either, and no doubt infected us with his own hubris. I see this arrogant pride is the primary reason we have the kind of world that we have now.

That God sacrificed everything to bring us back continues to stagger my imagination.
