Excellent interview!
From what I can tell, nothing new need be invented for the Antichrist system to be established. All the technology already exists and the globalists now have all the tools to create and set up a world-enveloping system which will be capable of enslaving everyone. I don’t think the Antichrist will have to do any of it himself except to step up and take over an already-functioning global government which will activate right after the Rapture, if not sooner.
Likewise, I believe the “covenant” that the Antichrist will confirm will already be in place when he shows up. Regarding that, I think a Middle East Peace treaty is only one of the provision of an extensive overall plan for world government.
If you look at the present dictatorial WHO treaty and Agenda 2030, you’ll see a preview of what that agreement with “hell and death” (Isaiah 28:18) will look like.
One thing about all these advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) and Digital Currency is that they require huge amounts of electricity and water resources. Looking at the cataclysmic events to take place during the Tribulation it would appear such resources will be scarce.
You made some very good points, Rodney. Here are some possibilities.
The first judgments to occur are the arrival of the Antichrist, then warfare, rampant inflation, and then wide scale death. It is my personal opinion that the Antichrist is the one rider of all four horses, merely switching mounts as his reign of terror increases.
I suspect much of the electrical and water infrastructures will remain intact for the Antichrist to arrive and come to power. He will be able to advantage of already existing and functioning technology to solidify his grasp over the earth. Later on, as the judgments become more severe and inflict great damage to the planet, it is likely, as you say, that resources will become compromised.
Somehow, he will still maintain his stranglehold on humanity, even to the point of rounding up 200 million troops for a final attack at Armageddon. We can’t rule out that he has dark supernatural powers he can tap into as well toward these ends.
What we do know is that everything the Bible says will happen in those last terrible years will come to pass, even if we can’t presently see how. After all, 100 years ago, most people never thought Israel could ever come to be a nation again, either, but it happened, just as the Bible said it would.

I personally see the four horses and their riders as continuing throughout the 70th week. Perhaps, this too is what you were alluding to as well.
When we examine the Holocaust and the attrocities committed against so many, this wanton slaughter did not require advanced technology to produce. All that was required were those willing to betray one another and the personnel to enforce such murderous agendas.
I think many times we give technology too much credit after all A.I. is dependent on available data produced by human intellect. Trust me when I say, we are not that smart. Israel relied on A.I., various other surveillance technology, and sensors on the Gaza border wall yet all failed to bring them security. Only God can bring Israel true security.

I definitely think God was active in protecting Israel in the attack by Iran. Even some of their military and science people admit that having 99.9% success rate was not explainable by their Iron Dome system or the help they received from some of their allies. God will do it again for the Ezekiel 38-39 and to stop the Armageddon assault in the greatest display of this protection of all.
Still, without the technology, the Antichrist could never implement the 666 mark and economic system. After all, a cashless society was never possible until now, nor was the ability to monitor everyone all the time and to link all of this information together.
Whatever means allows these future events to occur, what we do know is that they will happen. God, who is beyond time and space, knows exactly what will happen up ahead and, thankfully, has let us know so we can act accordingly.
We either make the decision to accept Jesus and escape or else reject him and stay here to face those last nightmare years.
It is really up to each of us.

While we do not know exactly what the Mark of the Beast consists of, I would agree that the world has and is moving to a cashless society with another form of fiat currency.
The reason why I question that the False Prophet will require advanced technology to implement the Mark is based on my observation of Revelation 7:3. It is in this context that we find that God does Seal 144,000 or 12,000 from the 12 Tribes of Israel upon their foreheads as well.
“Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads”- Revelation 7:3. It would appear from my observation that neither of these invoke technology yet identify with a spiritual application of ownership.
Many scholars attribute the Mark of the Beast with the AntiChrist while in fact, it is the False Prophet that oversees this function. It appears that this Mark coincides with a recognition of worship and consciously rejecting Christ thus their eternal destiny is yet decided. I do not believe this Mark will have a physical application to it is what I am inferring here.
Though what I have provided may not be accepted as following the mainstream eschatological view, I believe it is a valid point to consider.
