Some will likely say, “There he goes again with his Amero-centricity.” But America has never been more front and center in the roaring of the seas and waves of humanity as it is during this late prophetic moment.
I find that I can do no other than examine end-times matters within the apocalyptic milieu surrounding this profoundly unique experiment in liberty—this nation-state called America, the concept of which was given to the founding fathers by the Creator, according to their own recognition of the fact.
Harvest House Publishers released my book The American Apocalypse in 2009. We, that is the publisher and myself, planned a major book tour and publicity effort at the time. However, as you might recall, that year there was a major financial meltdown in America and around the world, due primarily to a banking crisis. So our book promotion plans were greatly curtailed.
I now see that delayed book publicity effort was providential. Now, in this greatly accelerated wind-up of the age, I believe we are truly looking at the coming Apocalypse in terms of, perhaps, America’s position within that unveiling of things to come.
Here is part of what I wrote in introducing that volume:
No nation in modern times stands more at stage-center than the United States. None in all of recorded history has had more influence–or has more directly affected countries contemporary to its time of nationhood–than America. Its contributions to moving the world from the speed a horse can run to light speed through near-instantaneous communications technologies are staggering.
There is no peer to American creative industrial genius, when considered in context of civilization-enhancing contributions by all generations prior to the 20th century. The United States of America, as a result of her genius and industry, stands alone as the most materially endowed nation-state ever.
Sounds like pompous, typically ugly American elitism, you say? Well, to borrow from, quote, and expand a bit upon the words of that renowned philosopher, one-time St. Louis pitcher Dizzy Dean: “It ain’t braggin’ if you can do it.”
Section I of this book, “Prophecy Takes Shape,” provides proof that America’s accomplishments stand far above and beyond achievements of all other nation-players in bringing mankind to the current degree of technological progress. The most gifted history revisionists would be hard-pressed to construct even moderately believable sophistry that would offer contradictory evidence to America’s role in bringing mankind to this amazing technological point in a mere 100 years.
Again, Dizzy would say that it ain’t braggin’, because this nation has done it. The very fact of America’s spectacular achievement would, one would think, secure its place within the final prophetic disposition of nations. Yet, this nation is referenced by name nowhere in Bible prophecy. Absence of mention of the most powerful and wealthiest nation in recorded history seems a profoundly strange omission.
Recognizing and acknowledging that this super nation-state is not even alluded to by name, there nonetheless remains room to ponder. Therefore, we return to the question, though slightly altered: Is America in Bible prophecy, even if not specifically named?
We must first address another question even more pressing: Does there exist a Supreme Judge of all things, who therefore has the final say on human conduct and on contributions to the furtherance of man? Much stage-setting for the coming Tribulation (Daniel’s seventieth week) has taken place since those days when Barack Obama became president—so much change, in fact, that my book, as thoroughly as I feel it was researched, could but serve as cursory prelude to the profound position America now occupies on this world stage of anti-God rebellion.
The all-out effort to bring down America—including the attempt to assassinate a presidential candidate who opposes their plans to rule, which just occurred—is evidence of their satanic evil. Their more than obvious intention to remove America’s sovereignty, to bring it into compliance with the globalists’ Agenda 30 goals, to me, manifests Satan’s orchestration beyond any doubt. America must, as Obama stated, be fundamentally transformed. And, beginning with his administration, that is what has been accomplished.
The open borders, the transsexual madness, the Sodom-like transformation that has swept every area of society and culture into its wickedness gives witness toward the American Apocalypse.
Yet, as obvious as Satan’s orchestration is to bring America into his future Antichrist orbit of control, God’s great restraining hand is even more obvious.
The Ephesians 6:12 cabal–the powers and principalities against which the Church (all born-again believers) struggles—must have a crisis of world-rending proportion in order to complete the final governmental architecture necessary to support the coming Antichrist regime.
Again, in my opinion, they tried this with the COVID so-called pandemic. It failed, and now much of the world is on to their lying ways.
One writer frames well the dilemma Lucifer’s minions face in their drive to bring America and nations of the world into configuration for fulfilling Satan’s desire to enslave humankind:
The globalist timeline for their “Great Reset” mentions 2030 as the prime year for total centralization. This is the year they plan to put their carbon controls in place, remove most oil and gas energy, bring in their digital currency framework, finalize their 15 Minute City programs, establish the IMF and BIS as the overseers of the global CBDC structure, launch their cashless society and integrate ESG related goals into every aspect of the economy.
2030 is only six years away, and that’s a lot to accomplish in such short amount of time. The globalists are going to have to either admit failure and change their timeline, or, create a substantial crisis in the near term to facilitate the Reset. It becomes more apparent by the day that the Great Resetters can’t do so without America. Thus, so much hangs on the political process leading to this November and the presidential election.
As stated before in these commentaries, Satan knows the Rapture is going to happen—and soon. He has therefore stepped up efforts at every juncture to set the stage for the great crisis the Rapture will create. His human minions, at least, don’t know about the Rapture, other than believing it is pie-in-the-sky nonsense by some religious fanatics. But Satan knows. So he lets his human minions work as feverishly as possible to create a crisis, knowing they are helping finish constructing the global platform for his Son of Perdition’s all-controlling machine for governing during that coming time of horror.
You don’t want to be here during that time. Here is how to go to Jesus Christ when He calls all believers to Himself in the clouds of Glory.
That if you will confess with your mouth the lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that god has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9–10)

While the world is confused, the remnant Believers clearly see how profoundly and rapidly our Almighty God, the Lord of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, is working to bring about His plans.
Just this morning I finished re-reading Ephesians 6 in my daily Bible studies, so your message jumped off the page! The Church, right now, is involved in the spiritual war for the ages. It will get more intense until we are removed in the Rapture. What a comfort to know that what we are enduring now is the worst we will ever face… and it will all be over soon.
Your frequent reminders that the world will be relatively normal, before we are taken up, provides daily comfort to me, Terry. Your references to what Jesus said in Luke 17:26-“Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. 27-People were eating and drinking, marrying and being given in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all. 28-It was the same in the days of Lot: People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. 29-But on the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.”
Normal is still here, albeit increasingly wicked and perverted. But there is abundant food in our grocery stores, plenty of gasoline for our cars, many people going to work, and to church, taking vacations, getting married, having babies in hospitals…all the usual things we take for granted. When 70 million American Christians, give-or-take, and their children under the age of accountability are removed, normal around the world is going to disappear.
American exceptionalism is real. As you point out, this is not pride or ego, it is simple fact. When we are gone, and global stability collapses (and it surely will), all Hell will break loose. Our natural resources, economy, currency, military protections, and, as shaky and divided as it is-our government-will fall apart. (This explains why the Bible tells us that true Believers around the world, along with the Holy Spirit, are restraining evil.) No free nation on earth has more global influence than the USA. People in many nations all around the world are holding their collective breaths, praying Trump will win in November and take office. They believe we/he are holding everything together, when in fact it is God who holds all the nations in His hand.
As we get close to the end, I exhort all Christians to read Ephesians 6 and prayerfully ask the Holy Spirit to strengthen us and equip us for the battle in which we now find ourselves. We must STAND firm, share the gospel and be of good cheer.
Hebrews 1:8-9 tells us
8-“But of the Son he says,“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever,
the scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your kingdom.
9-You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness;
therefore God, your God, has anointed you
with the oil of gladness beyond your companions.” (Emphasis is mine.)
We are called to exhibit the anointing of the oil of gladness that we have obtained through our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, especially as the days grow dark. It provides opportunites to share the hope and salvation we have been given by grace through faith, which can never be taken from us. We are already safe and saved, there is nothing to fear.
We are Heaven bound, that is a promise. All we are waiting for is that door to be opened, the sound of the trumpet, and to be called up by Jesus!

Your reference to what was essentially “business as usual” in both Noah’s and Lot’s time is right.
What I’ll add to that is that the “business as usual” in those days also included the widespread acceptance and normalization of evil.
In even more specific parallels, Noah’s society included the hybrid, superhuman Nephilim. Modern science using genetics and even the melding of the biological and mechanical is clearly headed in that direction.
In Lot’s society, sexual deviancy was part of their “business as usual” and we now see this on a scale so appalling that kids are being subject to these abominations while their parents are being denied the right to even know this is happening in the public education schools their taxes subsidize.
Jesus said the replication of the characteristics of both of these societies would occur as this age winds down:
Luke {17:26} And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. {17:27} They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. {17:28} Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; {17:29} But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed [them] all.
Looks like we’ve already arrived.
Yes Ed, growing more wicked by the day. Even Noah and Lot didn’t have Artificial Intelligence. We are going beyond their perversions to the final goal of Nimrod.
When the AC is wounded, dies and then is resurrected, proclaiming himself as God, the world will believe him. And I believe that’s the timeframe he will probably offer ‘eternal life’ to those who worship him. Many people do not know that there are “eternity drugs” being concocted as we speak. Rumor is that they are almost ready. You might not live forever but they are projecting 1000 years (and if you can live for 1000 years, eventually they’ll come up with an improved technology that promises you’ll never die.) This could explain how the earth-dwellers who are stung by the demonic scorpion creatures God judges uses as punishment in the Trumpet judgments, will suffer for 5 months, longing for death, but cannot die. Speculation on my part, but not ridiculously improbable.

These are some excellent observations and possibilities, Robin, and ones I hadn’t encountered before and not at all beyond possibility.
Here’s another thought which just occurred to me up along these lines:
There is exploration of the possibility of “uploading” the contents of a human brain into a computer system and downloading it into another body, maybe a clone or into a machine. As you can see, this is another “immortality” approach. It could even be marketed as requiring the mark of the beast as part of this process.
As you suggest, the “Eternity Drug” or whatever process it might be, might indeed make death impossible for those looking to die to relieve their torment from whatever those scorpion creatures are.

If society today is currently rivaling that of the “Days of Noah” and the “Days of Lot” as many suggest, then it would appear that millions of professing Christians today have had little to no effect on society! What does that say for the Church?
It says that what passes for the church today is nothing more than an ineffective social club that disregards the Bible and makes up its own rules.
It is a modern version of the lukewarm Laodicean church of John’s day 1900 years ago which repulsed Jesus more than the other four which also fell short as related in Revelation 2 and 3.
Only two were found to be faithful: One was at Smyrna, the other at Philadelphia.
I agree Ed, it is very disheartening to see this cloud of evil and depravity envelope this nation and the world at large.
Edmund Burke was right on-target when he said, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.”
So, I actually put most of the blame on the neo-Laodicean modern church which didn’t stand and oppose this evil.

Why does Revelation 6:15-17, seem to contradict the Time of Wrath being a surprise?
And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
In the previous verses the Day of the Lord is heralded by Cosmic signs in the heavens such as the Moon as Blood, Sun as Sackcloth. This identifies with what the Prophet Amos declares.
Woe unto you that desire the day of the Lord! to what end is it for you? the day of the Lord is darkness, and not light. Amos 5:18.

I believe the reason many current scholars are unable to identify the United States in Bible Prophecy is that they readily dismiss the fact that our nation is truly the embodiment of the Revived Roman Empire.
America from its inception was modeled after the Republic of Rome, even the Founding Father’s readily admit this. The United States stands as the most dominant military power in the world having over 800 foreign bases scattered across the globe.
The United States like its predecessor exports its depravity globally and pressures governments to make these things law to protect and glorify these things. Europe obviously is not an independent entity, it has subjected itself to the United States authority in all sectors. NordStream is a primary example of this.
If we are to believe that Daniel 9:27, does in fact identify the AntiChrist confirming a peace or security agreement between Israel and her enemies then surely he will come from the United States of America. It is this nation that has sought to destroy Israel by peace in compelling them to divide the Land of God to their enemies. There is no other nation that could provide such security guarantees.
The Roman goddess (Libertas) stands as a testimony to our true identity welcoming all to her shores offering a perverted form of Liberty to engage in depravity. There is no question for me as to our identity in Bible Prophecy. Our dollar bill declares it, the foundation is Rome, leading up to the pinnacle of this step pyramid to Babylon.
So here’s the fly in the ointment. It sure seems like a covenant nation that is arguably the most successful, prosperous nation in human history would be included in scripture. Certainly God knew it, and would have given clues as He has on many end times issues. Consider…could America just possibly be mystery Babylon the great? One ministry I follow has published 53 Biblical references that show America fulfills the description on Babylon the great. So don’t take my word for it…check out what scripture says and come to an informed conclusion.
Jim, can only agree with you regarding that accessment! I have also examined these characteristics and it is definitely plausible. In my previous comment I alluded to the step pyramid on our dollar bill as the foundation being Rome leading to the pinnacle of Babylon. This eye of Horus adopted by Egypt from Babylon, represents the basket of these mystery religions. It is a common theme among occultists to display this “all seeing eye” whereby they claim illumination. This derives from their perversion of Lucifer being the Light Bearer. Why is this on our currency announcing a New Secular Order? I think we can readily identify where we are headed and it sure is not an enlightened path.
When we examine these things from a Biblical perspective, it would appear that the United States with 800 foreign military bases globally they are poised to assist the AntiChrist going forth conquering and to conquer.
We also know that the 10 Kings or 10 Horns, there comes up a “little horn” which identifies him also as the 11th King requiring a Kingdom. I believe the AntiChrist or the “little horn” will revive Babylon which fits with one of the Seven Heads receiving a mortal wound and then is miraculously healed and lives. The Seven Heads represented as 7 Kingdoms. The 8th being even of one of the 7.
I further believe that America will be this Revived Babylon and will dominate the globe under direction of the AntiChrist. Israel will be the last stop in his quest for global domination as he will commit a military seige against Jerusalem (Luke 21:20) just prior to the Abomination of Desolation. Once Israel is subdued the AntiChrist will plant his headquarters in this region and will have no more use for his previous headquarters of a Revived Babylon. Thus, the destruction of this Great Whore that sitteth on many waters.
It is the desire of the AntiChrist to be worshipped as God, this hybrid religious, political, and commercial entity of Babylon will have served its purpose. This is my accessment of these prophetic passages and the identity of the United States in Bible Prophecy.
