Power of the Air Evil

While we approach the 2024 presidential election, we’re once again subjected to the evil festering within the mainstream media at every level. Whether it’s general or entertainment news, all, in one way or another, is geared to pump up the party and candidates of their preference and not only diminish, but destroy, all opposition to their view of the way America and the world should be governed. And that way has become radicalized and perverted.

The power of the mainstream media to shape opinion, thus pervert society and culture, is used by the dark force the Apostle Paul called “powers and principalities in high places” (Ephesians 6:12).

As I’ve mentioned before, something exciting is building toward a profound event, I believe. God Himself intervened, reached down, and in front of the entire world prevented the assassination of one of the candidates. This isn’t mere coincidence. Something is up. As a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, it’s exciting to contemplate what that something might be. Jesus told us to “look up and lift our heads” when we “see all these things begin to come to pass.”

Things haven’t changed for the better in the matter of the media’s harmful influence, but have gotten progressively worse since the time leading up to the 2020 presidential election. The article that follows was written in 2019, and I present it again here as a reminder of the evil the nation faces while the November date of electing the next president nears.

*******

Many an elderly former television network broadcaster doubtless engages in ever-recurring conversations while sipping his favorite evening libation.

“Remember how we once ruled the airwaves?” might be one such conversation starter.

“Yeah. In the old days we could say it on the evening news, and by noon the next day, public opinion would begin to come around,” the commiserating drinking partner might say.

I can imagine a Dan Rather type and some other no-longer-relevant propagandist lamenting as the tonic and gin or bourbon on the rocks burns a liquid trail down their once-golden throats.

“Those were the good, old days,” one shakes his head, blinks, and calls to the bartender for a refill.

“There’s no leadership to ever bring those days back,” I can hear the other saying. “Now they all go their separate ways.… There are far too many of them to ever come together.”

“It almost makes you see the need for the power of dictatorship…for the good of the republic,” the Dan Rather-type says, taking the first sip from his newly refreshed beverage.

“Yeah. We used to at least have that kind of influence over public opinion…for the good of the republic,” the other aging broadcaster puts in.

They must dream happily of when they and their network colleagues had the three-network monopoly. Now, it must be a nightmare that they live through daily. Their personal influence is no more—the power of their profession significantly diminished.

That this is the case is plainly presented in polls taken about how America’s people feel about that profession. Always, news media, as being trustworthy in the eyes of the public, ranks very near the bottom of those polls.

If there ever was a question about why that ranking is so low, we need only to think on the past three years or so.

It would almost seem that our two aging former anchors need not worry for a second about the ability of the news conglomerate to speak with the power of one. The mainstream news media has coalesced in a way that ABC, CBS, and NBC would have never done when they had, collectively, nearly sole power of the air.

It is true that today’s now fractionalized mainstream news media, as individual news forums, draw infinitesimally small numbers of viewers in comparison to the numbers drawn by the big three networks during the good old days. But the power exerted by the new collective—the fractionalized mainstream media—is, I’m convinced, even more powerful than that wielded by the big three those years earlier.

The proof is the absolutely fanatical cohesion that this new media collective has cemented.

Before the months leading up to Donald J. Trump’s election to the presidency, the news conglomerate at least pretended to be independent from one another. Following Trump becoming the Republican candidate and up to the present hour, those news forums have melded as one to destroy this president.

They have, in the process, infected about half of the adults of America with an insane rage that I’ve characterized a number of times as “a reprobate mind”—the same mindset described by the Apostle Paul in Romans 1:28.

In this sense, the new mainstream news media is far more effective than the big three that pretended to be independent of each other in trying to shape public opinion. This media today is as driven in its insane rage as are the left-wing, anti-God public they possess. And “possession” is what it amounts to, in my estimation.

I can say this because at the black heart of this propagandist cabal is the chief minion of the underworld. And this is provable, biblically.

Broadcast—at least as originally conceived and implemented—projected out over the airwaves. They were received by the antennae of those who tuned in to the news, entertainment programs, and commercials. So, as the broadcast industry was foundational, that method—“over the air”—was the progenitor of this new mainstream media.

This evil cabal, although fractionalized as being individual entities, is totally conjoined in delivering messages their master director wants delivered.

That director is indeed the maestro—who, for the time being, is allowed to be infernal minister of propaganda to seduce and delude the rebellious among earth’s inhabitants. He is undertaking that goal with a massive effort.

Here is scriptural proof of his temporary right to his position as master of deluding all who will watch and listen:

Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience. (Ephesians 2:2)

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. (1 Peter 5:8)

Satan is the prince of the power of the air. He is using that power in a literal way to seek out and devour as many as he can delude. He has, during this last three and a half years, managed to seduce and bring into his insane rage nearly half of the adult population of the United States of America, it appears.

But the God of Heaven has not left us without defense against this evil prince and his media minions. God’s Word tells of this protection for the Christian—all who believe in Jesus Christ for salvation:

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. (1 John 4:4)

*******

While carrying out the Great Commission Jesus gave believers, we are, as Paul exhorted, to be “looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:13).

Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

I just spent 5 days in Idaho (I live in AZ) with my sweet, very elderly, mom. She lives as a Christian, speaks as a Christian and professes Jesus as her Savior. But, she is one of the people foaming at the mouth against Trump, and will likely vote for Harris in November (if there is even an election….I have my doubts.) Mom has been jabbed multiple times and gets all the boosters. She listens to NBC, CNN and ABC news every day and believes almost all the lies she is told. (It shocked me when she said she supports Israel, so some kernal of truth remains in her heart.) To say this situation grieves me is an understatement, and it leaves me bewildered. Certainly here are many of us in this situation.

Of course Trump is a flawed man, because those are the only kinds God has to work with. And work with, and through, him He does! I am not voting for a savior, I am voting for the man who is deeply in the battle and professes faith in the Lord, while he struggles to live that way in the most unimaginable circumstances. Why DJT doesn’t just quit and go home is a testament to his convictions that he loves this country, that the USA is in terrible peril, and that he will gladly die to protect our nation. The demonic forces openly working against him are truly stunning, and plain for all of those who have eyes to see.

God has preserved Trump for His purposes and in His timing. This is not conjecture, or religious idealism; if Trump had been killed nearly 2 months ago, we would be living in full-blown civil war today, or worse. But God…

On Saturday morning, I had coffee with one of my longest, dearest friends, who I haven’t see for almost 3 years. She and her husband are professed Believers now. (Praise Jesus-this is answered prayer!!!) She is afraid of what is coming because they don’t belong to any church, so she isn’t being fed, and she hasn’t studied eschatology. We had a looooong visit while I filled her in on the most important and encouraging Bible verses God graciously gave us, to prove His future plans. And I made sure she understands the biblical promise of the Pre-Tribulation Rapture…which never fails to instill hope in the Believer who hears and receives it!

While in Idaho, I told my mom that I am so certain of the soon coming of Jesus, it makes me want to walk down the aisles of grocery stores with a bullhorn shouting “the end is near” and handing out tracts of the Gospel of John, begging people to turn from their sins and claim Jesus as their Lord and Savior while there is time. I can tell she thinks I’m a bit of a fanatic.

Is it fanatical to desperately want everyone to “get on the Ark” while there is still an opportunity and the rains haven’t begun? Surely our skies are filled with darkness, flashing with lightning, and rolling with thunder…the earth is literally quaking. All of the signs Jesus gave us to watch for, indicating the Tribulation is about to begin have converged. How can anyone (especially our pastors) not feel great urgency to speak up and tell the truth of what is underway?!

Yesterday I went to church with my mom. I am not a fan of her church, her chosen denomination, or her pastor. They aren’t heretics, but milk is all that is being taught there. Nevertheless, I went because I want to support and encourage her for however long we are here, and in my own private way, to glorify and worship the Lord. I am praying it is the last time I need to go there with her as I believe in my heart, something is going to give soon: war breaking out in our country, violence…another planned-demic, maybe all of the above. Of course we know these things are 100% coming, however the Rapture may take us out of here, before any of these things begin.

Every day I pray to be captured up into the glorified, eternal, presence of our perfect, precious Savior, Jesus Christ; the Holy One of Israel, the Lord of Armies, the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.

    May it be today. Amen.

Robin, you are “occupying” until Jesus pulls us out of here, which is exactly what you should be doing. All you, I, or any of us can do is to put the information out there and hope it will strike a responsive chord.

As you know, I left “organized religion” some 15 years ago, because I found I was wasting my time. It is better spent in a real church like the believers he still re at this website and in conversation with neighbors and acquaintances about the Bible, Jesus, salvation, and End Times. I am often amazed at how the opportunities present themselves more and more as the days pass. I am also amazed how I manage to come up with the right words. Of course, I know that this is not on my own ability or merit. Believe me, I am a prime example of God using a flawed tool to get a job done.

As far as government goes, we have this:

1 Peter {2:13} Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; {2:14} Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him
for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.

Notice that we are only to submit to a government that acts in accordance with the second verse above. Clearly, the present administration does just the opposite. Antifa, BLM, and similar destructive organizations get a pass while Christians are persecuted for following their beliefs as well as making Donald Trump being subject not only to a weaponized so-called Justice Department, but also left essentially unprotected by a compromised Secret Service force.

Now, does the Harris-Walz team look like it will institute the kind of government that would meet the standards the Bible requires? Maybe that’d be a good question to ask your Mom and, upon reflection, she might discover for herself that it will not.

Perhaps this might be an approach that will work.

      • robinlinaz's avatar robinlinaz says:

Sadly she is a fully irrational Trump hater. I’t’ve decided it’s up to her to face the Lord and give an account for how she votes, and also for what she believes. I’m fairly confident she’ll be doing that from the Bema Seat.

What a relief it will be when all of this conflict and confusion comes to an end for us.

      • Ed Wood's avatar Ed Wood says:

Sorry to hear that she is so resolute against Donald Trump, Robin.

If Bobby Kennedy Jr. is on the ballot in your state, maybe she would consider him or perhaps she could write in someone else.

At least it wouldn’t be giving her vote to the Dems anti-God candidates.

      • robinlinaz's avatar robinlinaz says:

Hopefully God will move her through His Spirit to open her eyes before that day comes. It isn’t a subject we can even discuss at this point.

She is a rabid Leftist and I don’t know how that is possible for a Christian. Frankly, I believe the shots have affected her thinking.

      • Ed Wood's avatar Ed Wood says:

You have done your part, Robin, and I expect this is something that has to be left in God’s hands. God always does what is right.

  2. MP's avatar MP says:

What is interesting too about all you said in your message Terry is thatprior to the invention of the radio and wireless transmission, the “Prince of thePower of the Air” really didn’t have a good meaning to a Bible believing saint.I wonder how it was interpreted 150 years ago before radio or TV? Lord BlessMark

  3. Ed Wood's avatar Ed Wood says:

I’ve been trying to figure out exactly what the “prince of the power of the air” means for decades! I think that in our technological age, part of it is Satan controlling what it broadcast over the air waves. But since this was written 2000 years ago, there has to be more to it.

Here is a possibility. When we think of the air, particularly on the Earth’s surface, be it land or sea, air is pretty much everywhere, right? Since Satan is the prince of this world, it’s pretty obvious that his evil influence is likewise in that respect. Doesn’t matter where you go, evil is there. Fact is, even where the air isn’t, such as deep underground or below the ocean surface, it is still there. As evil intensifies, we not only see it in society, but in a corresponding increase of what we would call natural disasters as well.

I would be interested in what other people think on this subject because I still am not sure I’ve arrived at the right answer.

    • A Clark's avatar A Clark says:

One of the definitions of the word translated “air” (aēr) is “the atmospheric region” which could include the surface up to perhaps as high as the ionosphere.

You could compare this with the word “epouranios” in Ephesians 6:12 which can refer to the abode of God (not the context here) but also the lower heavens (space) and “the heavens, of the clouds”, consistent with the the above definition.

Could explain such things as UFOs and abductions by such which most Christian researchers such as LA Marzoulli believe.

      • Ed Wood's avatar Ed Wood says:

I appreciate this information, A. Clark. I, too, suspect the UFO phenomena is not extraterrestrial but extra-dimensional. Your point about the possibility of the devil using his “power of the air” to generate such effects is well-taken.

The Bible tells us that there is God, the ultimate intelligence, angels, both good and evil, and humans. There is no mention of ET intellects on other planets and I think this is significant. I believe if they were out there, God would have let us know about them.

I believe the barrier between what we would consider the spiritual dimension and ours is getting more and more tenuous. Post-Rapture, I expect it to completely dissolve. A contemporary analogy is America’s southern border. Just look at the drugs and criminals pouring through it into our country.

There will likely be an open border between Satan’s realm and ours which will allow evil to flow into our reality unimpeded.

      • A Clark's avatar A Clark says:

I have a theory about what’s may happen at the rapture. It’s a little off the beaten path but I wonder that when we meet Jesus in the AIR if that is a messianic takeover of the devils realm. Is this when the evil one gets thrown to the earth? I haven’t really put much effort into a more detailed study, I just thought it interesting that the Bible makes it a point to mention the realm of the atmosphere where we meet Jesus.

      • Ed Wood's avatar Ed Wood says:

That’s a really good thought, A. Clark. It might just be what happens. The saints gain heaven and Satan is finally and totally kicked out. When he is cast to Earth, he then opens up the portal to let his demonic host loose on Earth.
This makes a lot of sense. Thanks for sharing this insight. I really do think you are onto something here.

      • A Clark's avatar A Clark says:

Maybe but it’s just a thought. I have not studied it enough to check its consistency with the Word and also run it by some scholars to see what they think. Interesting stuff.

      • Ed Wood's avatar Ed Wood says:

If you find out more, please pass the information along. I do think you might be right.

  4. robinlinaz's avatar robinlinaz says:

    Ed, I agree with you.

The Bible says in Isaiah 65:17 that when God destroys this Heaven and Earth, He will make all things new. “For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth, and the former things shall not be remembered or come into mind.” I absolutely believe He means what He says.

Every single atom, and whatever is contained between them, is infested with sin. Hence, the Lord will recreate everything after He destroys the corrupted original, making certain that there is no vestige of evil that can contaminate His eternity.

People argue over this subject, which frankly I think is a waste of time, since we can’t be 100% certain, but it makes the most sense to me based on scripture.

I’m amazed by all the Lord has done, what He is doing now, and am so looking forward to discover all He has planned for the future. Indeed, our very best days lie ahead.

    • Ed Wood's avatar Ed Wood says:

There is something called Time’s Arrow. It says that time is asymetrical in that only runs in one direction and that entropy increases as it passes. Entropy has been said to represent increasing “disorder” in the universe, but I never liked that definition. I prefer to think of it as things “running down.” Hot things cool down, cold things warm up. This means the amount of usable, or free, energy in the universe is steadily decreasing.

The life processes in living cells likewise become less and less efficient until the cell dies. Cell division is not 100% accurate and the descendant cells ultimately end up compromised. This obviously applies to multicellular life, something of which I am reminded every day!

There is also evidence that the very fabric of space is expanding and, left unchecked, it would reach a point where matter in its basic building blocks of subatomic particle will be eventually be pulled apart.

I envision that none of these things can be the case in the New Universe because eternity can’t exist if this sort of deterioration continues in any way. I think that before Satan was “sublet” this cosmos by Adam and Eve, things were eternal. When he came in, his goal was to corrupt it and everything in it – hence the fallen state we live in now.

The ageless eternity of New Jerusalem which presently can only exist outside our universe will one day find a home in the new Creation on the New Earth.

I am very much looking forward to seeing this all personally!

  5. rodneydezarn's avatar rodneydezarn says:

If we claim as many do, that indeed the Church is the Restrainer of 2 Thessalonians 2:6,7 then it would appear we have a problem. According to the plain context of verses 3 thru 8, this Son of Perdition or AntiChrist, is revealed at the midpoint of the 70th week at the Abomination of Desolation.

Now, if this is true, the Church as the Restrainer can not be taken until just prior to this revealing. This designation of the Church being the Restrainer no doubt conflicts with a PreTrib Rapture position that unfortunately many scholars do not address!

Some might say we will know the AntiChrist because he will confirm a covenant with many for 7 years unfortunately, this appears to be erroneous in logic. The Apostle Paul makes clear in 2 Thessalonians 2 that the actual revealing of the AntiChrist does not occur until the Abomination of Desolation.

This is a major problem to address and no doubt requires extensive study!

    • Ed Wood's avatar Ed Wood says:

I think what we have here is that the Antichrist will indeed appear right after the Rapture but won’t be identify himself as such. He’ll come across as a charismatic, highly intelligent, and attractive “Answer Man” the world will be desperately in search of post-Rapture.

Recall that Hitler didn’t engage in his worst acts of antisemitism and invasions of his neighbors immediately. He waited until he was powerful enough to pull these things off. He bided his time as I suspect the Antichrist will likewise do. Satan uses the same tactics all the time because they work out, if only in the short run.

The “man of sin’s” true nature and identity will only be revealed 3 1/2 years later when he moves into the temple and demands worship as “god.” If he did this right away, Israel would surely have nothing to do with him and never agree to a peace treaty.

I figure that he will first make himself indispensable and revered by the world before dropping his bombshell. By then, his control will be so entrenched that he won’t be able to be dislodged by anyone else but Jesus himself.

This is just one possible scenario.

      • robinlinaz's avatar robinlinaz says:

Ed, I agree with you as usual, for the most part.

However, consider that Revelation foretells the 2 Witnesses will be working incredible signs and miracles in the name of the Lord for the first 3.5 years. They will be untouchable until they are killed in Jerusalem, in front of the world, by the AC. Meanwhile, multitudes of new Believers will be martyred during the first half of the Tribulation. Knowing these things are true, it is highly likely that the AC, along with his False Prophet, will be directly involved in orchestrating not only the 2 Witnesses deaths, but also the ongoing torment and deaths of the Tribulation Saints. My point is that he will not be some benevolent, likeable figure for very long…he will be powerful, a problem solver and charismatic at the outset, but he will rapidly be revealed as a tyrant, a war monger, amoral to the nth degree, and the ultimate deceiver. The many Saints will know who he truly is and will loudly cry out against him…resulting in their deaths.

His claim of being God incarnate at the 3.5 year point will be bolstered as a result of killing the 2 Witnesses, whom the world hates and yet no one else can touch, and also resurrecting from his own death. That will cause most of the world to believe he is who he claims.

Since Satan is this world’s most prolific, evil emulator, I suspect that the AC is already, right now, the ultimate Luciferian. As his power rapidly grows, once the Restrainer is removed, he will fully comprehend he is Satan’s son. This goes back to the seed of Satan as God stated in Genesis 3:15 “And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed.” Jesus knew all His earthly life He is the eternal, living, Son of God and I suspect the AC knows he is the son of Satan. What is more, he has utterly deceived himself (just as Satan has done) into believing his father (of lies) will prevail against Almighty God.

As an aside, while visiting my family last week, my dear brother (who I pray for throughout the day) spontaneously asked me (within 10 minutes of our visit) if I thought Elon Musk was the AntiChrist. I told him no, and explained that the Bible gives us a very detailed description of the AC and Musk doesn’t fit. I went on to reveal many of those characteristics and said that while Musk is certainly incredibly rich, powerful, intelligent, charismatic and independent in his thinking, he misses on some major points; being South African in birth origin as one example. Another is that the AC arises as a ‘little horn.’ Musk, and Trump, Macron, King Charles and all the other famous and incorrectly named candidates are not little horns. (I am speculating here but it seems likely to me that when the AC appears he will be about 30 years old, just as Jesus was when He began His ministry. And that false shepherd will die when he is 33.5, at the mid-point of the 7-Year Tribulation, thereby copying our True Savior. He will be ‘resurrected,’ mimicking Jesus after He was crucified on the cross.) I did say that Musk quite possibly is one of the prophesied 10 ‘Kings’, and that I believe he is the perfect candidate for one of the 3 who are defeated by the AC. Musk isn’t likely going to bend his knee to any other earthly leader.

I am very encouraged that my brother is thinking biblically and I did all I could to foster his curiosity without suffocating him. If you are moved to do so, please kindly keep him and his wife in your prayers.

Certainly more is being revealed as we search the scriptures and the events we are witnessing as they unfold around us. I praise the Lord every day for His goodness in giving us all the information He has, to help light our paths in these perilous times, and even more for His amazing, saving grace.

      • Ed Wood's avatar Ed Wood says:

I think we are pretty much on the same page. Your reference to the AC’s age and the time when he is assassinated is excellent and I think you are right. Never heard this brought up before. You continue to demonstrate a real gift!

If the upcoming U.N. meeting puts forth some kind of 10-region subdivision proposal for the world, this will be a huge step toward prophetic fulfillment. I think the AC will come from within the territory of the ancient Roman Empire, which is now covered by the E.U. and the M.U., this latter entity not nearly as well-known. I figure the false prophet will have some kind of prominent religious hierarchy. Between them we have the secular and religious aspects of a revived Babylonian system the foundations of which are already being built by the Globalists and the apostate church.

As you said, three of the regional leaders will reject the AC’s attempts to take over and they will no doubt be taken out of the way.

Some of the remaining pieces may soon be put into place this month.

I believe we will soon be watching the rest be joined from a very distant point of view.

        God bless!

      • robinlinaz's avatar robinlinaz says:

You are right, the AC will come from the boundaries of the ancient Roman Empire, which was vast. I’ve spent a little time looking at those boundaries. It is impossible to know where he will arise, but the Bible does call him the Assyrian and I wonder if he might indeed be from ancient Assyria after all, which would be in Iraq and/or part of Turkey. Most who play “Pin the Horns on the Antichrist” wouldn’t expect anyone of consequence to come from either of those areas.

Thank you for your kind words but really, I don’t see myself having any gift. Just a curious mind which leads me to ponder and meditate upon what the Bible tells us.

No question that we are watching more pieces being put into place as the incredible prophetic puzzle God gave us is being assembled. The globalists, unbeknownst to them, are the board upon which that puzzle sits. How any person would want to participate in what is underway is beyond me. Ai makes me ill, what passes for entertainment today repulses me and modern politics looks very much like wicked days of Caesar and Nero…nasty, corrupted, godless and utterly self-focused, and staggeringly short-sighted.

Psalm 2 is my refuge, which I have posted several times, along with Psalm 110 below.

        Sit at My Right Hand

        A Psalm of David.

1 The Lord says to my Lord:
        “Sit at my right hand,
until I make your enemies your footstool.”

2 The Lord sends forth from Zion
        your mighty scepter.
Rule in the midst of your enemies!

3 Your people will offer themselves freely
on the day of your power,
        in holy garments;
from the womb of the morning,
the dew of your youth will be yours.

        4 The Lord has sworn
and will not change his mind,
        “You are a priest forever
        after the order of Melchizedek.”

        5 The Lord is at your right hand;
he will shatter kings on the day of his wrath.

6 He will execute judgment among the nations,
        filling them with corpses;
        he will shatter chiefs
        over the wide earth.

        7 He will drink from the brook by the way;
therefore he will lift up his head.

All will be well, our future is secure with our Savior, Jesus Christ, in glory! When he rules and reigns, this world will be as close to His original plan as possible, with sin still in the world. Then afterward, all things will be new and we will live in eternal perfection.

Holy, holy, holy, let us praise The Name of our Triune God!

  6. Ed Wood's avatar Ed Wood says:

I, too, have considered that he may not be from Europe proper. He may even have a combination of European and Middle Eastern ancestry, something I don’t think many people who are into Bible prophecy consider. If this is so, I think that would give him a much wider appeal across ethnic lines. Of course, this is just speculation on my part. What we do know for sure is that he will definitely show up and there is a good possibility that he is already an adult walking on the Earth. He may not even be aware of the role he will play. I have no doubt his rise from obscurity will be dramatic.

Let’s keep an eye on the U.N. this month. We may see the that regionalization proposal come up, but I doubt we will not see any 11th horn candidate yet.

The people who are willingly supporting the globalist movement are doing so, I figure, because most are ignorant as to where it is headed, except those who are orchestrating it for their own benefit. Sadly, most nominal Christians are so biblically illiterate that they fall into the “ignorance” category as well.

And look how there is such strident opposition to the Pre-Trib Rapture even among those who actually do have biblical knowledge, yet can’t see what it clearly says in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 or 1 Corinthians 15:51-55, just to name two passages.

We are indeed fighting against more than flesh and blood (Ephesians 6:12).

I often think of Psalm 2 myself as I watch the Globalist elites down here as they attempt to push out God and take over. They have made themselves their own gods, much as Satan has always tried to do. Like the devil, they think they can prevail. Soon, they will be getting a harsh education.

By the way, Robin, you DO have great insight into Scripture and this is certainly a gift that the Holy Spirit has given you, so don’t sell yourself short. Our gift comes from your sharing it with the rest of us.

    God bless.

Thank you Ed, certainly anything you or others might glean from my comments are the work of the Spirit. All glory to Him!

It’s quite sad how many Believers are still tethered to this world and don’t want to leave it behind. This explains why so many refuse to discuss it, or believe it. (If they only understood how horrifying the Tribulation will be, they’d allegorically race to the front of the line to get out of here.)

I’m convinced the reason Paul in 2 Timothy 4:8 tells us “Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing.” Every Christian should get that crown, but most will not.

About the AC, we don’t know his ethnicity, but we know he has a dark and fierce countenance. Sounds quite like someone who belongs to the genetic line of Ishmael/Haman/Antiochus Epiphenes. I am certain he is among us today; I don’t know his age but he is surely here.

I’m grateful we have a wedding to prepare for and attend, and will probably not be watching what he is doing. That promised ride on a heavenly horse alongside our Savior…well, all I can say is that is going to be quite the event!

    Blessings to you my friend.

And blessings also to you, your insight and witness. Soon, we will get to see Jesus face to face, and as Job said, “Not as a stranger.” I can’t even begin to imagine just how wonderful that will be!

We will all be among that cloud of witnesses and the amazing thing is that Jesus already knows each of us personally. When we get there, I think we will all know each other as well, just as Peter, James, and John recognized Elijah and Moses at the Transfiguration, even though they had certainly never seen even an image of them because the Second Commandment prohibited such things.

      Won’t be long now!

“Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all”- Daniel 11:37.

The “fathers” provided here identifies with the Patriarchs Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. We can conclude from this passage that the ethnicity of the AntiChrist will be from one of the Tribes of Israel.

While many continue to look for the AntiChrist to rise from Europe, the scriptures only identify that he will come from the “people” or offspring of what of the Roman Empire. This designation most assuredly could include several nations even the present United States of America.

As many assume that the expected “covenant with many” of Daniel 9:27 involves a pseudo peace agreement concerning Israel and her enemies, as he confirms an already existing plan. It is clear what nation has been involved in this process since its inception. It is the same nation whose national symbol was the standard held high by the Legions of Rome representing Imperial Rome, the Eagle!

      Some thoughts on these topics:

      A) The AC won’t regard the god of his fathers – Could be Allah if he’s a Muslim, or Jesus if he’s a Christian. (Admittedly, wildly speculative on my part!)

        B) Your idea that he could be any descendant connected to the old Roman Empire no matter where he comes from now is an interesting one and certainly can’t be discounted.

        C) Good possibility in your last paragraph. I also think that this “covenant with many” could be a broader document for setting up the global government of which a Middle East peace treaty is just one of its provisions. That would make the “many” actually involve the whole world. Who knows something along that lines may be on the U.N. agenda right now in an embryonic form.

I expect whatever this covenant is, it’ll be pretty much complete and all the AC has to do is to ratify it, i.e. give it “teeth,” as you suggested.

“And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?”- Exodus 3:13.

“Go, and gather the elders of Israel together, and say unto them, The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt:”- Exodus 3:16.

“When Moses saw it, he wondered at the sight: and as he drew near to behold it, the voice of the Lord came unto him,32 Saying, I am the God of thy fathers, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Then Moses trembled, and durst not behold”- Acts 7:31; 32.

“But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:”- Acts 24:14.

There is no mistaking to whom the “God of his fathers” is referencing in Daniel 11:37. “Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all”. I believe God has provided us with a clue regarding the AntiChrist’s ethnicity!

        • Ed Wood's avatar Ed Wood says:

Still, he could be a nominal Christian because Christians also worship the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Likely this does exclude the Muslims, Hindu’s, etc. on that basis because they don’t.

And, there is the connection to the original Roman Empire which encompassed the Middle East and Europe. Since, as you mentioned, the descendants of these regions are now all over the world, he could come from just about anywhere today.

          Interesting things to contemplate.
