“Perilous Times” Evil Manifesting

Believe me, this is an article I’d rather not write. My grandfatherly heart would much prefer avoiding the stories herein encountered, which I believe the Holy Spirit prompted me to address as I considered topics for this week’s post.

Many times I’ve written about the Apostle Paul’s “perilous times” prophecy found in 2 Timothy 3. I’ve always included the sign Paul termed “without natural affection”—most often along with all the other signs given in this prophecy—in general terms.

I’ve defined “without natural affection” in prophetic terms as mothers’ acceptance of abortion–the murder of their children while still in their wombs. This evil, when examined almost clinically as a symptom of the anti-godliness of the age, didn’t touch the most sensitive tissue of my spiritual heart.

I guess considering this prophesied sign of the very end of the age was somewhat akin to a forensic physician doing an autopsy. One just treated it as a prophetic matter of dissection, but without application of the process to being a personal, flesh-and-blood reality.

This examination of Paul’s “without natural affection” sign hit me much differently. As I alluded to above, the stories I encountered touched the grandparental tissue of my spiritual heart.

Truly, this generation has continued to experience all of the symptoms Paul said will be present in the days leading up to the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. In America, this symptom is manifesting with women of certain political, ideological, reprobate thinking doing bizarre things to their bodies to prevent even the capability of having children. I won’t go into the details, but these insane acts are almost as terrible as the acts of those who engage in self-immolation in order to demonstrate for one cause or another.

The abortion movement has, in effect, ingrained into the mind of many young women that birthing children is an evil act, or at least, an act they see as abortion being an after-the-fact, birth-control option.

Discarding a baby, the abortion culture has infused into their thinking, is no more than removing unwanted refuse. The abortion mentality is a spiritually reprobate mindset that is “without natural affection.”

The following news item makes the case, I think, that we’re witnessing the Apostle Paul’s perilous times as perhaps never before.

A newborn baby is dead after an American tourist, who was on a study abroad trip, reportedly threw the child out of a Paris hotel’s window just moments after giving birth to it. A witness to the horrific incident reported to French police that they discovered the corpse at the Ibis Style hotel in the 20th arrondissement of Paris on rue des Realizes.

Authorities reported that the incident occurred around 6 a.m. Monday morning and that the child had been tossed from the establishment’s second-floor window. According to the witness, they heard screaming and were quick to raise the alarm.

Emergency services rushed to the scene in order to help the infant and rushed them to Robert-Debré Hospital, in the 19th arrondissement. It was also reported that a young woman, believed to be the child’s mother, was taken to the hospital.

Emergency services rushed to the scene in order to help the infant and rushed them to Robert-Debré Hospital, in the 19th arrondissement.

It was later confirmed by the Paris prosecutor’s office that the mother was on a study abroad program along with other students from the US. Law enforcement also confirmed that the baby had been thrown from the window “with the umbilical cord” still attached. It was reported by a local outlet that despite doctors’ best efforts, the baby perished…

The news of the dead child comes after a Russian mom was accused of giving birth in a Turkish airport bathroom and leaving her newborn submerged in freezing toilet water as she left to catch a flight home. Ekaterina Burnazkina, 29, has been charged with attempted murder after she allegedly abandoned her baby in an Antalya Airport restroom in October 2024.

The baby girl was discovered by a cleaner just 12 minutes later, narrowly avoiding a tragic death. Surveillance footage allegedly captured Burnazkina entering the facility on her own, only to emerge and rejoin her family as if nothing occurred. It was reported that Burnazkina pleaded for the return of her child in court. (“American Tourist, 18, ‘Throws Newborn Baby Out of Paris Hotel Window with Umbilical Cord’ Still Attached,” MSN, Jack Hobbs, Rapture Ready News, February 24, 2025)

The “without natural affection,” perilous-times indicator now manifesting worldwide isn’t just confined to woke America, as the story above proves. Those so against childbearing now term mothers who are with child as “inseminated persons,” so reprobate is their level of anti-God, cognitive malfunctioning.

This is but another reason I strongly believe all children will go to Christ when He calls believers in the Rapture. The children are innocent in God’s holy eyes. The world has treated them with contempt in far too many instances. The Lord, I’m convicted, will make a great heavenly statement about when life begins, and what He thinks about abortion and all other abuse of the children born into this fallen world.

Abortion, like all other sins, is forgivable. And our loving God is waiting to forgive the repentant. Here is how to be forgiven of this and any and all sins, to be forever in Christ’s presence and Heaven either when entering that realm through the portal of death, or when transported instantaneously into the clouds of Glory at the Rapture.

That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9–10)

So glad you are speaking out on this issue, arguably the most profound moral issue of our day. The church voice on this matter is weak, to its shame.

These stories touch my grandmotherly heart as well.

We have a family friend who is a 40 year old, affluent, white, far left, liberal woman. She had a “Pro-Choice” party last year to raise funds for the cause of protecting abortion in Arizona where we all live. I’ll call her Erin.

Meanwhile, Erin recently posted a story about the passing of a man who had a very rare blood type. She was praising him as a hero. “Australia’s most prolific blood and plasma donor, James Harrison, has died at age 88. Known as the “Man with the Golden Arm,” Harrison is credited with saving the lives of 2.4 million babies over the course of more than half a century.”

She has spent the past 3 years trying to get pregnant and when that failed, she went the IVF route. After 4 rounds, and dozens of ‘failed’ embryos, Erin is finally pregnant. Her due date is in June, and she and her husband, in fact their whole family, are out of their minds with excited anticipation.

Erin is completely disconnected from the concept that the babies she has used and discarded in her IVF journey are equal to abortion. She doesn’t see the hypocrisy of cheering for a man who saved the lives of millions of babies, and cheering for abortion.

Do I blame Erin? No, because before I was Saved, I too was ‘pro-choice’ i.e. pro-murder. Women in our nation, and now, around the world, are indoctrinated into the philosophy that they are entitled to sexual freedom and bodily autonomy; that the babies growing in our wombs are non-human clumps of cells, and that we must have exclusive control over how we deal with unplanned/unwanted pregnancies. Every unsaved woman I know believes this. They have differing views of when abortion is acceptable, but they all believe it is up to the woman. We know all of this is straight from the pit of Hell.

The women I know who are Saved, with few exceptions, believe babies, even in the earliest stages of development, are human beings, created by God for His glory. Such is the dramatic difference in a mind controlled by the Holy Spirit.

It is another, stark sign of the times, that billions of babies have been discarded in the process of IVF and abortion over the past 50 years. God can, and does, forgive those who have been deceived by the evil one, when they repent of their sins. But His patience with an unrepentant world is coming to an end.

Sadly, our nation is filled with women who will remain deceived, even up to the call of the trumpet; untold numbers of babies, in the womb and out, will go with us in the Rapture. I think about the shock of women like Erin, who will lose their children when this happens. Many will literally go out of their minds. Some will say this is justice, and because it is from the Lord it is, but there but for the incredible grace of God go I. Therefore, on this side of glory, I cannot wish this kind of event on any person.

I pray for all of the unsaved, that the Lord will bring scores more into salvation before we are called up. What an unimaginably horrific time it will be here for earth-dwellers when we are gone.

It won’t be long now. Maranatha

God’s rich blessings be upon you Terry in Jesus name. Your article this week regarding Chuck Missler was a great read. It serves to re-enforce andbolster our faith in Christ Jesus and His promise of returning for His bride at the rapture. At my church, we have two hyper Calvinist people. Why they stay at our Church seeing as theyare not even close to being dispensational pre-tribulationists is beyond me. But there is one ofthem that I know id familiar with the pre-trib doctrine. So I forwarded your article to him. He thanked me and told me that he greatly enjoyed ChuckMissler. So, per-adventure, he might (by the power of the Holy Ghost) come to understand the rapture. 4. I, too, was once pro-choice believing it was a woman’s right(choice) to do as she saw fit with her body! I voted for McGovern and Carter being raised a Democrat early on before I saw the error of my ways. I didn’t think of a fetus as an actual person yet, just a lump of cells as Robin described in her post today. My thinking changed sometime in the 1980s when I started attending church, was married and saw my thinking was wrong-so very wrong! Then I heard life begins at conception and continues on, eternally, as it were, be it physically or spiritually, on Earth, in Heaven, or in Hell unfortunately for so many! What a revelation in thinking once I started trusting in the Lord! We must remember, though, so many women have never had a ‘ROCK’ to stand on–meaning Jesus–so they continue in their reprobate mind-set.

I was googling the ancient Hebrew practice of child sacrifice, and found some scholars flat-out say there is no evidence of actual child sacrifice found in the Bible. Yet we know positively it happened because there is a prohibition against it found here: Molekh: The Sacrifice of Babies Jeremiah excoriates the Judahites for sacrificing babies to Baʿal at the Tophet, in a valley near Jerusalem. Archaeological excavations throughout Carthage uncovered the remains of thousands of babies offered to Baʿal and his consort Tanit, together with dedicatory inscriptions, referring to the offering as a molekh, the very term the Bible uses to prohibit child sacrifice.

My point for bringing this up is that because man is Fallen, He commits the same abominable acts over and over again!

Mike, you’re right, there is nothing new under the sun. And those ‘scholars,’ prompted by the spirit of Satan, want nothing more than to rewrite scriptural history when it conflicts with their worldly agenda.

There are so many verses in the Bible talking about passing their children through the fire, that it is absurd to claim that didn’t happen. Jeremiah 32:35 “They built the high places of Baal in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, to offer up their sons and daughters to Molech, though I did not command them, nor did it enter into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.” And Leviticus 18:21 “You must not give any of your children to be sacrificed to Molech, for you must not profane the name of your God. I am the LORD.” And Deuteronomy 12:31 “You must not worship the LORD your God in this way, because they practice for their gods every abomination which the LORD hates. They even burn their sons and daughters in the fire as sacrifices to their gods.”

There are many more verses that avow this DID happen because God said it did in His Word and that closes the subject.

All of this wicked deception is proof we are coming to the end of the Church Age. I am profoundly amazed at the breadth of God’s patience, but He is nearly done.

I once thought the judgments of Revelation were “over the top.” When I hear horrific stories like those above and when we learned the Hamas monsters killed infants with their bare hands, it just reinforces what I have come to believe in these later years – Earth is getting exactly what it deserves.

That God’s patience has lasted this long amazes me but when we see kids subjected to the worst kinds of violations, the end has to indeed be near.

When we flawed humans are so repulsed by these things, think how they must look to our perfect God!

  7. robinlinaz's avatar robinlinaz says:

Most days I think the same, Ed, especially the part about how all the abounding evil deeply grieves God. He has profound feelings. He suffers with us and for us, and He longs for an end to sin.

These days when I am (often) overwhelmed, I find comfort in asking Jesus to intercede for me with the Father. He is our High Priest and He knows how we are feeling. Speaking for myself here, I am alternately throughout these days overwhelmed, sad, anxious, hopeful, angry, indignant, appalled, confused, brave, afraid, excited, grateful, and then usually by the end of the day, exhausted. These are difficult days.

The next few months are likely going to grow much darker. This is why Jesus said we are to be the salt and light in the world. When we display hope, kindness and love, it is like a cold drink of water to a parched and dying world. (I am saying these things as a reminder to myself, not as a command to you, or others.)

As Jan Markell says “What did you think the end of the world would look like?!” To be honest, I didn’t think it would look like this…or at least never thought I would have to witness it. But I’m here for His purposes. We all are.

    Glory is just ahead.

I can’t fully imagine just how terrible it will be during the Tribulation, based on how bad things already are. One if the few advantages (and there are not many) of advanced age is the perspective one gains. I remember how very different America was back in the 1950’s and how it started its decline beginning in 1963.

I don’t think this was a coincidence since earlier that year the Supreme Court kicked God out of the schools and that November JFK was shot in Dallas as God’s hand of protection began to withdraw. The 1960’s really were a turbulent time and that anyone can be nostalgic for that decade means they either forgot its darkness or were too young to remember just how awful it was. Only thing good about it was some of the music but not the over the top stuff like “Imagine,” a particularly evil and godless tune, or the ones that praised drug use.

Now, here we are in a world getting even darker, faster, despite the temporary reprieve we may have because of the last election. To be sure, Satan will intensify his efforts in response and I hope none of those who believe in Jesus will get complacent and make it easier for him.

We are definitely nearing the end of this age and this is what keeps me going!

Amen, I was born in 1960 and a teen in the 70’s…which was not a wholesome experience…although it was by comparison to day.

Like you, the promise of an eternity with Jesus is what keeps me focused, grateful, and it gives me compassion for the lost. I try to remember to always carry my tracts of the Book of John with a short message about the Rapture in it. Planting seeds now is especially urgent because the Tribulation harvest is coming. I pray everyone who opens those little booklets will clearly understand what has happened when we are gone, and immediately repents.

It is my firm belief that the USA will be hardest hit by the Rapture, and our enemies…particularly China, will immediately invade us. (China will not be impacted nearly as bad as us because virtually all of their Christians are in low-level positions within their society.) As soon as the world can catch its collective breath they are coming after our land and resources, and the first wave of Tribulation Saints will go to Heaven. I pray that there will be multitudes of our brothers and sisters here, that they will be spared long-term suffering and torture, and die in Christ’s name quickly.

It’s truly overwhelming to know that we are talking about the near future now. And that means we are getting very close to making the move to the special rooms Jesus has prepared for us, to be with Him.

        See you soon brother!

      • Ed Wood's avatar Ed Wood says:

I was born in 1952 so I do remember a good half of the fifties and subsequent years. I was old enough to understand the significance of the Cuban missile crisis, the assassination of JFK, RFK, and Martin Luther King Jr. I remember all the protests over the Vietnam war, the proliferation of drugs, and craziness going on in the colleges which persisted into the 70’s when I was there. By the way, I’ve always been a conservative and I’d had more than one run-in with the lefties on campus. Never got physical, though. (But I was ready all the same!)

I’d say your perspective on what is to come is right on target. There may actually be a contest between the E.U. and China over who gets the “salvage rights” to what’s left of America once we are gone.

The Bible tells us that the “kings of the east” (Daniel 11:14) and maybe even the Russians will not roll over quietly for the Antichrist. This may result in a holding action which causes him to delay his betrayal of Israel while he brings the Orient under his control
