An epiphany struck while listening to a radio talk show host I sometimes listen to during weekday mornings. The words that sparked the revelation came from a cut from a TV program the radio host played. The cut was from the ABC program The View.

I don’t know which of the four main View women hosts did the speaking –that is, I don’t remember the name given of that View host. It was, of course, either Sunny, Joy, Sara or Whoopi. And the words that ignited my thinking in writing this commentary should have been unremarkable – that is, if I weren’t a student of Bible prophecy from the preTrib perspective.

But the words the woman spoke, interspersed without any sort of emphasis or context, among the rest of her statement, making the words unremarkable at best, struck like that bolt of lightning that struck the Statue of Liberty’s torch a couple of weeks ago.

Sunny, Joy, Sara, Whoopi, and the rest were making fun of those who had made statements that the eclipse of April 8 or the Francis Scott Key Bridge’s destruction were signs from God. They ridiculed those who said that these things and other things happening, like the earthquake that shook New York City, was Judgment from the Almighty or portended Judgment about to be meted out by Deity.

In the middle of the couple of paragraphs of the harangue the particular host of the show was making, she said amidst the audience’s laughter and applause something like “the rapture” didn’t come…”

This stunned me. Here, one of the three most non-Bible-centered people one could think of was, although as merely a casual mention, referencing the next prophecy to be fulfilled, we who study from the preTrib view believe. If Sunny, Joy, Sara or Whoopi understands that the Rapture is an element in God’s Prophetic Timeline, then every American must surely have at least a cursory acquaintance with the term.

In thinking further, my dear friend and mentor, Dr. Tim LaHaye, and his co-author, Jerry Jenkins, came to mind. The Left Behind books, in what was the top-selling series of Christian fiction in publishing history, saturated America and the world with the term that Whoopi or one of the other women of The View casually threw in there when mocking everyone who had predicted that the eclipse and surrounding hoopla was a signal of Judgment from God.

Some of the entertainment world –the late-night hosts on television, and others, also scoffed at those who mentioned that the eclipse, etc., had prophetic or Heavenly judgment overtones. These had also joked about Biden’s designation of Transgender Day of Visibility on the day Easter fell this year. They, observably in my view, delighted in pulling this off against the Christian world and their perceived view of its judgmental foolishness.

The most ungodly among our populace, who dominate the airwaves with their celebrity, have made certain that the unbelievers know of Heaven’s failure to follow up on any Judgment that believers in Christ expect. They accuse that we look down on them with feelings of superiority, and God’s lack of judgmental response is reason, they obviously believe, to celebrate with good-natured fun-poking.

All of the joking and mocking proves one thing: the lost world of people, particularly in this nation, is without excuse. Satan, through being prince of the power of the air, does his devilish work of deceiving the masses through use of his minions who have information dominance in this fallen world. So there can be no doubt that the lost, especially the lost here in America, have heard or read time and time again about God’s coming Judgment –and even more importantly, about His Redemptive Plan for mankind through the Sacrifice of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

The devil has convinced the masses that God’s Intervention into the physical world is good to use as the butt of jokes. God is, at most, an existential being, Satan lies. God set things in motion, and it’s been hands-off for the most part since that time. But the God of Heaven has a different View, and Judgment is on the way.

“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath showed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened” (Romans 1:18-21).

The God of Heaven is, first and foremost, not a God of Judgment and Wrath but of Love and Mercy. He Desires that all come to Him for Repentance and Forgiveness. He has moved Heaven and Earth to bring all people into His Eternal Family. Here, again, is how to be Forgiven and thus go in the Rapture when Christ Calls believers or go directly to Heaven when life on this sphere is finished.

“That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9-10).

Early Friday morning, April 5, I was listening to news while getting ready to start morning work. The announcement came that a 4.2 earthquake centered somewhere beneath New Jersey had shaken the northeast, with 4.8 on the Richter recorded in New York City.

While 4.8 would be barely noticed in parts of California or some of the western environs, an earthquake of any magnitude in the northeast U.S. provokes considerable angst. These just don’t occur that often beneath the solid rock that is Manhattan.

A day or two before the quake, a torrential storm of rain, wind, and lightning struck the New York City area. A photographer caught an explosive lightning strike hitting the Statue of Liberty’s torch. Before that, of course, we know the Francis Scott Key Bridge, named after the author of our national anthem, in Baltimore collapsed when struck by a container ship heavily loaded with environmentally dangerous cargo.

Now, I’ve not been one to easily accept that God necessarily makes His Displeasure Known through Displays of Geophysical Reaction.

However, there has seemingly come the time to acknowledge that things have reached the point that coincidence likely has diminished as a percentage of cause and effect in considering such occurrences as witnessed just recently.

While the earthquake was shaking the Big Apple and regions of the eastern U.S., another report reached my ears.

The audio on one or the other news programs I was listening to had a United Nations official saying that Israel must be dealt with harshly in the matter of its attacks on the civilian populations of Gaza. Benjamin Netanyahu must be replaced as Israel’s prime minister and Israel made to cease wreaking destruction on the defenseless Palestinians.

It was reported that, at that time, the U.N. Building was affected by the shaking, as was downtown Manhattan and even Yankee Stadium.

Whether one holds to the notion that God reacts in this way to matters adversely affecting Israel, it can’t be dismissed that there has been, of late, an incremental stepping up of such geophysical gyrations.

The Prophet Zechariah foretold that all nations will eventually come against God’s chosen nation and people. God will, Zechariah says, cause all to be injured who do so (Zechariah chapter 12).

God Himself tells through the Prophet Joel that He will bring all nations to face the horror of Armageddon because of their dealings in forcing Israel to divide His land –the land He granted Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob forever (Joel chapter 2).

In that regard, an article makes clear what Israel’s leader thinks about the current pressures being brought against his country.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met on Thursday with a Republican U.S. Congressional delegation, which was organized by AIPAC, at the Prime Minister’s Office in Jerusalem.

During the meeting, which also included the AIPAC senior leadership, the Prime Minister briefed the delegation on the fighting in the Gaza Strip and answered the Representatives’ questions on defeating the Hamas terrorist organization, the unrelenting efforts to free the hostages, and the issue of humanitarian aid…

[Netanyahu gave the representatives 3 points in outlining Israel’s need of help from the U.S., the most important for considering the dividing of the land being the third point.]

“The third thing is this: there is a contrary move, an attempt to force, ram down our throats a Palestinian state, which will be another terror haven, another launching ground for an attempt, as was the Hamas state in Gaza. That is opposed by Israelis, overwhelmingly. We just had a vote in the Knesset: 99 to 9. Do you have those kinds of numbers? I think you might have those numbers if you bring that same resolution, that same resolution to Congress. I think you’ll have a similar or at least a very powerful majority.”

Netanyahu concluded: “I think it’s important because the people of Israel choose life, and life means security, and security means defeating our enemies but also standing together for our common civilization.”

So many strange things are happening in a seeming convergence of prophetic signals. It is certainly prudent, as Watchers on the Wall, to observe the geophysical gyrations in order to try to discern the Prophetic Forecast. We should keep Watch, as Jesus Instructs.

“And what I say to one, I say to all, watch” (Mark 13:37).

Despite all the wickedness across America and the world, God the Holy Spirit continues remarkable Restraint as Paul the apostle foretold.

“For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only [the Holy Spirit] who now [Restrains] will [Restrain], until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked [Antichrist] be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him [Antichrist,] whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved” (2 Thes:7-10).

New World Order architects are nearing the precipice of bringing into being the Antichrist regime Satan has long sought to inflict upon humanity. They have employed the fear factor of a worldwide pandemic with the COVID scare. They have convinced governments of the Western world like those of Canada, Australia, and, yes, the United States of America, to put into place things to bring their populaces into compliance with bizarre implementations which in just the recent past would be considered insane. Like, for example, the Biden administration’s declaration that the day we celebrate Resurrection Day this year to be the Transgender Day of Visibility.

This wicked declaration brought the following response from Franklin Graham, son of the late evangelist Billy Graham.

“On the most significant day of the Christian calendar, when the Church around the world celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ who died and shed His blood for the sins of mankind, the Biden administration uses this opportunity to flaunt sin, to glorify sin, and to celebrate sin.

“The Bible says, ‘…they proclaim their sin like Sodom; they do not hide it. Woe to them!’ (Isaiah 3:9). Judgment is coming,” he added. “Instead of celebrating sin, we need to confess our sins, repent of our sins, and ask for God’s forgiveness.”

The all-out assault on morality has, for certain, had its deleterious effects. Our public school systems, in considerable measure, put in front of our children the so-called “wokeness,” which defies God’s Divine order in the matter of the trans-movement and in other absolute reprobate ways that reflect where this generation stands in relationship to Romans 1:28.

The Holy Spirit continues to restrain such assaults by Satan and his minions, both demonic and human –the evil forces described in Ephesians 6:12. Those who observe these late prophetic times as Watchmen on the wall see the Psalms chapter 2 derision God is sending upon the Ephesians 6:12 minions. These New World Order builders, despite their Great Reset and Build Back better efforts, can’t complete their Satan-inspired blueprint construction this side of the Rapture of the Church. The Holy Spirit, Resident within all believers, continues to Restrain.

That said, it is not this Restraint against the satanic evil of which I write in thinking upon presenting this commentary. The absolutely remarkable Restraint to which I refer involves God’s unfathomable Mercy.

The God Who Created all there is –Who Holds in His Mighty Hand the very matter of which all things consist, hasn’t completely destroyed the anti-God rebellion that is constantly thrown in His Holy Face. This is truly remarkable Restraint!

Jesus Himself spoke of His Father’s unfathomable Mercy and restraint. When He was being horribly abused by those who were about to crucify Him, He said that He, Jesus, could Speak the Word and His Father would send legions of angels to save Him. That God the Father hasn’t completely destroyed all of this fallen world system is beyond human understanding.

I, as father of sons, can’t imagine the Restraint the Heavenly Father exercised at that most crucial Moment in human history. I couldn’t, like Abraham, be obedient in offering up my son for sacrifice. I just haven’t that degree of faith –although I sure wish I did have the kind of Faith that can remove mountains. I have to be honest and say I just couldn’t let the evil forces of this world come against one of my children without bringing all I could muster to stop them.

Our God, however, has within His Holy Person the ability to Invoke Mercy, through His Restraint, that is… well… unfathomable.

Nonetheless, there is a sense among those who “Watch” as commanded in Mark 13:37, that God’s Restraint based within His great Mercy is very near Its Limits. This Age of Grace (Church Age) is about to end, and the age that will be marked by His terrible Judgment and Wrath is about to begin.

The Rapture of the Church will be Heaven’s Demarcation that will bring about God’s Dealing with the likes of absolute evil and wickedness to which this world has come. Jesus said it will be the worst time of all human history (Matthew 24:21).

You don’t want to be part of those left on this Judgment-bound earth when Christ Calls God’s people to be with Him in the Clouds of Glory.

Here is how to be certain that you will go to Jesus when He Calls.

“That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9-10).

America, it seems to me, has reached a point of depravity not far distant from the level of wickedness reached in the city in which Abraham’s nephew, Lot, chose to live. We’ve looked at the Sodom-likeness of our own nation a number of times in these commentaries. But never before has such a degree of Sodom-likeness materialized, in my view.

This observation gives me no pleasure to report. However, the accumulating facts are what they are, and to be true to what we believe the Lord has put us here to do –bring His Truth, found in His Holy Word, to bear—we can do no more or less than report what is happening in our beloved nation.

We start with Abraham’s initial question: What if 10 can be found? Genesis chapter 18.

When the aged patriarch, Abraham welcomed strangers as they approached his home, he soon recognized these were not ordinary men but Heaven-sent beings in the form of men. As two of the men were ready to depart to go to Sodom where Abraham’s nephew and family lived, the third stayed to talk with the old man.

“And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know” (Gen 18:20-21).

So Abraham now recognized the third being as being God Himself in human form. Undoubtedly, Abraham knew of the wickedness of the twin cities of Sodom and Gomorrah because he knew what the Lord would find there and feared the punishment to follow. Abraham appealed for God to have mercy on the inhabitants of Sodom.

“But Abraham stood yet before the LORD. And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked? Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein?” (Gen 18:22-24).

We know from this account that the Lord agreed that if 50 righteous people could be found, He would spare the city of Sodom His Judgment. Then Abraham kept asking if the Lord would spare Sodom if 40, then 20, then 10 righteous could be found. At this point, Abraham realized Sodom’s fate was sealed, apparently so incorrigibly wicked had the people become.

We can only imagine, from this account, the degree of debauched comportment the people of Sodom had reached. But the news of the wickedness in the twin cities was so great, it was known by Abraham and doubtless all who lived in the region round about. Certainly, reports of the wickedness had reached into Heaven to the degree that God Himself, like in the matter of the Tower of Babel, came down to see exactly how great was the evil of the cities. God, of course, knew, as He knows all things, but apparently, He wanted Abraham –and those of us today who are believers, to know that His Judgment, when it comes, is not without His complete Knowledge and Consideration.

He Intervenes directly into the affairs of mankind with Judgment and Wrath only when there is no other recourse. That is when such Intervention is the only hope for saving man from his own destructive behavior.

And this brings us to the title of this article: Abraham’s Plea and America.

Many of those who observe things going on in America at this moment –including yours truly—wonder just how close is the nation to bringing about, because of anti-God activity, God’s catastrophic Judgment of the type suffered at the time of Babel and during Lot’s time in Sodom.

Many –even believers– today would scoff at even the thought of linking America to the type of wickedness the Bible reports as having been taking place in Sodom and Gomorrah. And most people don’t believe this really took place, at any rate. There just is no evidence either of the historical fact of Sodom’s destruction or that the United States is as wicked as was the “fabled” city of Sodom, the majority might declare.

Recent archeological digs in the region below the Dead Sea, however, have changed the fable of Sodom to almost without question a historical fact. So we look to the situation in America at this moment in time to try to ascertain if there are similarities to the days of Lot to things going on in America.

Articles such as the following excerpt report on an hour-by-hour news cycle basis cultural and societal debauchery legislated into U.S. law –and even worse.

A sprawling, $1.2 trillion government funding bill includes funding for abortion facilities, as well as LGBTQ activist centers that carry out transgender injections, target minors, hold drag shows, and help illegal immigrants who identify as gay or transgender gain U.S. citizenship — a bill one congressman calls “a total, total abomination.”

The “Further Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2024” funds the Departments of Defense, Education, Health and Human Services (HHS), Homeland Security (DHS), Labor, and State until the end of the fiscal year, September 30. Congressional leadership released the text of the 1,012-page bill at 2:30 a.m. Thursday, giving members of Congress just hours to read before an anticipated vote to head off an impending government shutdown at midnight Saturday.

As of this writing, the bill contained the following earmarks:

$400,000 requested by Tammy Baldwin (D-Wisc.) for Briarpatch Youth Services in Fitchburg, Wisconsin. The group promises to hide minors’ struggle with gender dysphoria from their parents while indoctrinating teens in extreme gender ideology. Its “Queer 101 Training” promises to teach “an intersectional understanding on queer oppression” and aims “to demonstrate how limiting the ‘male’ and ‘female’ binary is.” The organization offers “individual counseling services” for children “ages 12-17,” in which a “[counselor can work with children on exploring identity, resiliency, and creating a Gender Support Plan for school support and advocacy.”

The group’s website says, “Youth do NOT need parent/guardian permission to join Teens Like Us. We understand not all youth are at a point in their lives where they can safely and confidently ‘come out.'” (Emphasis in original.)

The above story is but one small segment of the voluminous reports recording America’s free fall into Sodom-like culture. It seems to me that God is expressing His warning of impending Judgment on this most materially blessed nation in all of human history. The destruction of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, named, of course, after the author of America’s National Anthem, I sense, is not mere coincidence.

I fear even more dramatic forewarnings of national Judgment is in the offing.

Jesus, again, Foretold as recorded in Luke 17:28-30 that His next catastrophic Intervention will be exactly like it was in the days of Lot in Sodom. Jesus, Who is God in His reincarnate form, said the following to Abraham, who was pleading for His Mercy in the city where his nephew Lot lived.

“That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?” (Gen 18:25).

This gives me great hope. It makes me know that the Lord of Heaven, Who is the blessed hope of Titus 2:13, will spare the righteous –that is all Who have Trusted in Him for Salvation, which makes them Righteous in God’s Holy Eyes.

You want to be part of the Righteous when the Lord Jesus Intervenes next in the wicked affairs of mankind. Here is how to be made Righteous in the Eyes of the Lord.

“That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9-10).

Right at the top I’ll admit that I’m overwhelmed with trying to understand the signs in the heavens that are apparently firing at this present time. Reports of things going on in the dark regions of space certainly seem to correspond to things going on down here on this planet in terms of impending Bible prophecy fulfillment scheduled as the time of Christ’s Second Coming comes into view.

The prophecy in view here, scheduled for ultimate fulfillment during the seven-year Tribulation—like all other end-times prophecies—seems to be casting a foreshadow in this present hour.

“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken” (Luke 21:25-26).

Things are moving so fast in all of this that by the time this article is posted, some dates will already be past, possibly revealing some of whatever it all means.

My hope is to try to lay before us these things that are scrolling in some sort of eschatological presentation for those who are Mark 13:37 spiritually attuned. It seems as if all is coming together at hyper-collision speed, portending a world-rending cataclysm that cannot be averted.

In order to briefly examine the things in the heavens that are moving and shaking, let’s scan through the following article excerpt.

During the next couple of months, so many amazing things are going to be happening in the heavens. For example, during the Great American Eclipse of 2024 on April 8th, the sun, the moon, and the seven other planets in our solar system will all line up in the sky. It is almost as if the entire solar system will be screaming that this is a once-in-a-lifetime event. But before we get to April 8th, there will be some other absolutely incredible things happening in the skies above our heads. On March 25th, we will witness a penumbral lunar eclipse.

A penumbral lunar eclipse will take place on Monday, March 25, 2024. It will be visible to the naked eye as 95.57% of the moon will be immersed in Earth’s penumbral shadow.

Since so much attention has been focused on the Great American Eclipse of 2024 on April 8th, this other eclipse has kind of snuck up on us…

On top of everything else, this “blood moon” eclipse also coincides with Purim. The first day of Purim goes from sundown on March 23rd to sundown on March 24th. The second day of Purim goes from sundown on March 24th to sundown on March 25th. So this is going to be a “blood moon Purim eclipse,” and Pastor Mark Biltz believes that it is quite appropriate that the moon will be eclipsed on Purim…

The first lunar eclipse on March 25 will coincide with the Jewish holiday of Purim. Biltz noted that it was fitting that the moon should be eclipsed on Purim, as Esther literally means “hidden….”

We also know that in late March, “the Devil Comet” will be racing through the sky as this blood moon eclipse is happening. In fact, it is being reported that it is possible that this comet “could be visible to the naked eye” at that time…

So the run of “the Devil Comet” will be taking place during the “blood moon Purim eclipse” on March 25th and the total solar eclipse on April 8th. Is that just a coincidence?

And let me throw one more thing at you. NASA is telling us that at some point between right now and September, a star that is 3,000 light years away will explode. That explosion will be so bright that it will actually be visible to the naked eye in the northern hemisphere.

Heaven seems to be sending a monumental message. While the signs in the heavens are blazing their forewarnings that might be flashes of impending cataclysm, the signs here on Earth continue to rage with portentous signals that the planet is on the brink of something disastrous. Nations around the globe are, to put it mildly, in disarray. There is indeed perplexity on Earth, the seas and waves of humanity roaring.

Jesus said when we see these things begin to come to pass, to look up –that our redemption –Jesus Himself—is drawing near. He is about to intervene and call believers to Himself, as Paul the apostle has foretold.

With all the signals of that sudden intervention by Christ, you must know Him in intimate terms for Salvation. That is, you must do the following in order to go to Him when He calls to all believers into the Clouds of Glory.

“That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9-10).

It was almost like going home. Only we had just come from home and were here in the Christ In Prophecy studio. And there were smiles to go around. We had a joyous time being together in a physical setting for the first time in quite a while.

My friend Mike Hile and I travel together and have done so for many years because I’m now blind and have to have Mike to help keep me between the ditches. So we were in McKinney, Texas, near Dallas to shoot TV programs for Lamb-Lion Ministry and their Christ In Prophecy weekly program.

It was like a homecoming –great to be again with my great friends Tim Moore, the program’s host and head of Lamb-Lion Ministry, and with Dr. Nathan Jones, TV co-host and Lamb-Lion web minister. And it was doubly great to sit right beside my wonderful friend of many years, Lamb-Lion and Christ In Prophecy founder Dr. David Reagan.

Dave, Tim, Nathan and I caught up on things of our lives apart from each other for those intervening years. We did so, even while taping the programs, but especially between the sessions of doing the programs. It was, for me, a heartwarming time of being with those who have been so special in my ministry life.

In retrospect, thinking on the topic for our television get-together, the wonderful time spent there appropriately sparks just an inkling of what that Grand Reunion will be like once in the Hereafter following the Rapture.

Dave and I were in the studio to do programs about two of our books –each of which involves Bible Prophecy, as you might expect. But these books have at their centers the theme of the future for Christians in eternity. These books focus on that Glorious Place Jesus said He was going to go in order to prepare a place for those who believe in Him for Salvation.

Dave, in his unequaled way of presentation, expounded on the marvels that await those who have accepted God’s Grace Gift of Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world for the Redemption of fallen mankind.

My title comes from years ago hearing the great radio broadcast personality Paul Harvey expounding on one of his sponsor’s products. He said something like: “If you want to keep your pearly whites from here to hereafter, you should (use whatever toothpaste he was promoting.) The word hereafter made me think what a great title that would be for a book about Heaven.

Dave and I were precisely on the same page from the very start of the program’s taping. As a matter of fact, I accused him of stealing my thunder in using exactly the scripture I was going to use. He was first to speak, and he quoted the following.

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him” (1 Cor 2:9-10).

In our book, HEREAFTER, we further look at the Joyous future that awaits each and every believer when their time on earth is through.

In Psalm 16:11, David wrote:

“You make known to me the path of life;
in your presence there is fullness of joy;
at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”

When the day described in Revelation 19:1-10 arrives, our joy will know no bounds. Our fondest moments in this life will pale by comparison.

During the TV taping, I was asked to recount my brief clinical death visits to that Sphere that is the Hereafter. I can’t tell you what a joy it always is to do just that. As a matter of fact, I recount that Good Friday experience of April 22, 2011, most every morning when I awake. For some reason those Moments spent in that Realm flood back into my thoughts upon awakening to a new day.

Dr. Reagan brought up during the programs that Heaven isn’t just some ethereal realm or dimension of existence where saints will be floating around as disembodied spirits. He said it is a real place, according to all we know from Scripture.

Again, in our book HEREAFTER, we address this place called Heaven, about which Jesus said the following.

“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also” (John 14:1-3).

A Physical Abode

The Greek word for “place” in John 14:2-3 is topos, which denotes a physical location in almost all its usages throughout the New Testament. It frequently denotes a specific location such as a city, village, or area. Jesus is preparing actual “rooms” in His “Father’s house” for the multitudes that would come to know Him as their Savior since that evening. Our new home will be visible with many amenities that will please our immortal resurrection bodies. Not one saint will feel any disappointment when he or she sees their heavenly accommodations.

The word Jesus chose for “prepare,” hetoimazo, also depicts a tangible, physical preparation. Paul used this same term when asking Philemon to “prepare a lodging place” for him (Philemon 22).

Although my own trip to somewhere on the periphery of Heaven didn’t take me to that final place that the Lord Jesus is preparing, the trip itself was exactly as the Apostle Paul said it would be. He said to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (2 Cor 5: 8).

I.e., when the last heartbeat happens upon passing from this life, we who know Christ for Salvation are instantaneously in that Heavenly Sphere. To this, I can attest firsthand, although it was obviously not yet my time to go all the way to the place prepared for me in the Hereafter. The trip was, however, instantaneous –in the twinkling of an eye speed. I was sent back, among other reasons, to tell you about that Abode that is, as our book subtitle has it, far better than you can imagine!

If you are not yet in God’s Family, for whom Jesus Himself is preparing places of unimaginable splendor where we will live in Glory Forever, here is how to become part of that Family. You will then be certain to go to the HEREAFTER with a smile on your face.

“That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9-10).

That half of a nation so advanced to the point that it is the apex nation of human history can embrace such insane concepts is mind-boggling. Yet half of America, according to statistics I’ve read, for example, believes it is okay to literally murder people through abortion. As a matter of fact, it is preferable to do so, in most cases, merely for the sake of convenience.

I.e., abortion on demand is no different in such thinking, apparently, than simply throwing out the messes made after a big party. The fun is over, and the results are that one must either get rid of the mess or else live with the rubbish that continues to grow. Abortion is, in the large majority of cases, a matter of convenience after the fact.

Now I realize there are legitimately considered reasons for the procedure, but only the God who Issues life can Rule on the legitimacy of such action. So abortion performed for these reasons, considered in cases of a mother’s life, fetus viability, rape, incest, etc., can ultimately be determined only by Heaven’s Authority.

Man determines such taking of life, only at the risk of offending the Giver of life.

So, in these cases where convenience is truly not the motivating factor, we must, in my view, leave Heaven’s Judicial Determination between God and those performing the taking of life in the womb.

What I would like to examine under this title, Satan’s Antichrist Amoeba, includes the human mindset of abortion and all other thinking growing today that more and more leave behind what used to be considered normal. It is more than obvious, if studying God’s Word on the inevitable outcome of embracing anti-God thinking, that the reprobate mind moves ever further away from the ability to form rational thought.

Here, of course, is what Paul the great apostle says, under Holy Spirit Inspiration.

“And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity whisperers” (Romans 1:28-29).

We read stories of the brain-eating amoeba, which enters its human victim through the nose while the person is swimming in waters that are warm and infected with the insidious microbe or whatever it is considered by the microbiologists. Once infected, the person, if not immediately treated, is shortly unable to survive the brain damage. Death quickly follows.

We human beings were infected with a deadly amoeba-like entity called sin through the bloodstream of our father, Adam. He received this sin infection by the serpent, Satan, who injected him –and all humankind that has ever been born except for the Lord Jesus Christ. The result is that humanity, as a whole, continues to go further and further from God, unless Saved from the Sin-infection through belief in Jesus Christ, the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world, as a sacrifice to deliver from that sin infection.

God’s Word tells of this ever-present determination by fallen man to move away from God. The antediluvians of Noah’s day had to be destroyed for their corruption due to this satanic, spiritual-mind-destroying amoeba running through the bloodstream untreated. Because of unbelief, anti-God reprobate mindset moves mankind, ultimately, into total perversion.

The same was the case with Nimrod’s tower-building generation following the flood. The satanic amoeba again so infected that the Lord destroyed the anti-God project at Babel and scattered infected humanity throughout the world.

We look at the world of rebels at this present hour and how mankind has once again reached the point that, apart from Christ’s sin-cleansing Intervention, there is near total corruption and reprobate mindset. The Lord is about to have to again reach down and destroy through Supreme Judgment all anti-God rebelliousness. This will eventuate in the Tribulation –Daniel’s seventieth week.

During that Tribulation –the final 7 years before Christ’s Return at Armageddon (Revelation 19:11)—God will Allow the satanic Antichrist amoeba to totally infest the minds of anti-God rebels. Those so infected will believe the lies, and especially a big lie of some sort. Here is what the prophetic Word has to say in that regard.

“And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness” (2 Thes 2:8-12).

We have seen some foreshadowing of the fallen minds of men being set up for believing this great lie following the Rapture of the Church. Jesus said the last of this Age of Grace will be marked by deception and deceivers. Paul wrote under Inspiration that human beings will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

We have all witnessed great deception in these days that are growing ever darker in terms of movement away from godliness. Even secular observers can see and understand that something evil is taking place as deception grows.

The following excerpt speaks to the discernment that even those who aren’t necessarily believers are displaying regarding setting up the minds of people for destructive lies.

Journalist Lara Logan on Monday told a U.S. Senate roundtable, “We live in the age of information warfare” aided by advanced technology, and “we have never been here, not in all of human history….

Other experts who participated in the roundtable discussed how the news media have become propagandized and warned that media-supported propaganda will lead to a totalitarian society.

‘Vast censorship network’ includes government, nonprofits

Journalist Lara Logan, formerly of CBS News, told the panel of experts, “These are the worst of times for the media in this country…”

Logan said:

“The media is collaborating with government agencies and operatives to censor and shape the information battlefield to justify certain actions. For example, when the president of the United States threatens the unvaccinated, saying ‘Our patience is wearing thin,’ and accuses them of putting communities at risk, his words are designed to justify hatred, censorship and intimidation.”

According to Logan, a network of nonprofit organizations whose purpose is to stifle free speech is contributing to information warfare:

“For too long we have allowed nonprofit organizations to masquerade as nonpartisan media watchdogs, when in fact, they are a little more than highly paid political propagandists and assassins whose entire reason for being is to crush anyone who stands in their way and along with them, the long-held and cherished ideas of free speech, free thinking and free minds.”

“This is a blood sport for them, their political allies, and their puppetmasters. They know how to kill a journalist without murdering them. We call it ‘cancel culture’ …. They get away with it because they have information dominance.”

Satan’s Antichrist amoeba is already at work in setting up the minds of mankind for the Tribulation when the Holy Spirit no longer Restrains to the same degree as while indwelling believers during this Age of Grace. The deadly amoeba’s spiritual mind-eating is observable in every direction one looks upon today’s darkening prophetic horizon.

Jesus Christ, Alone, is the Answer to cure the sin disease caused by this infernal parasite injected by Satan, that old serpent who introduced into Adam’s bloodstream those eons ago. To accept Christ’s Healing from sin infection, follow God’s Rx.

“That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9-10).

Lucifer was, it is likely, the Apex Angel of God’s angelic Creation. His beauty, according to his own words, seemed to be something that morphed into pride wrapped within the iniquity that was found in him.

This magnificent creature convinced himself, like in the lie with which he deceived Eve, that he could become as God.

Lucifer, now known as the serpent, the devil, and Satan, has, since embracing iniquity, tried to achieve those words he spoke while looking into that iniquitous mirror.

“For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High” (Isaiah 14:13-14).

Lucifer the fallen now tries in every way to usurp God’s Throne. His desire to be God has apparently only grown, not diminished, over the eons. He tries to exert power and authority over God’s Creation –especially God’s creation called man. For most of humanity, his wicked machinations have worked.

He is now in the process of convincing mankind that God’s Order is to be thrown out and replaced with man’s own governance, which is in reality Lucifer the fallen one’s governance.

There aren’t two genders, but many. Men can come together with other men in sexual activity, and women with women. Mankind should, through climate change fanaticism, worship Mother Earth –i.e., should worship the creation rather than the Creator. It is okay for mankind, even parents, to change the sex of their children through mutilation and drug therapies. And many, even within the nation’s judicial systems, view pedophiles now as only Minor Attracted Persons who shouldn’t be punished for their pedophilia.

Lucifer’s drive to be God-like can never accomplish his goal. Still, he rages forward in the attempt.

His reprobate insanity will eventuate in his ultimate imitation of Heaven’s Trinity when the unholy trinity comes together during the Tribulation. Satan, Antichrist, and the false prophet will mimic the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit at that time.

Yet Lucifer the fallen comes far short of the God-like Power he covets. That is, he is neither Omniscient, Omnipotent, nor Omnipresent.

A close, long-time friend this past week sent me an article that sparked a profound realization. I attempt here to relate this epiphany my friend stimulated upon our back and forth in email.

This thing that has suddenly appeared and is growing in geometric progression termed AI (Artificial Intelligence) seems destined to, at some future point, give the unholy trinity their own evil imitation of God’s Omniscience, Omnipotence, and Omnipresence.

The article my friend sent gives a hint of the potential for developing AI into technology that will likely make the unholy trinity when they appear seem to be all-knowing, all-powerful, and always present everywhere at the same time.

My friend’s email comment to me: Here is a tweet written by a current Google customer, commenting at length on the nature of the Gemini (Google AI) tool.

I think AI will lend the Antichrist the semblance of omnipresence, omniscience, and omnipotence as well. AI has an uncanny ability to predict future behavior based on past behavior. While the Antichrist may not be able to see everything, he can likely make educated guesses where to look and what and who to control based on the odds.

In this way, AI acts as a force multiplier and a force extender. It not only amplifies the collection and analysis of data but enables efficient application of deterrence and control.

I don’t care if some of that ideology may or may not align with your or my thinking about what would make the world a better place: for anyone with a shred of awareness of human history, it should be clear how unbelievably irresponsible it is to build a system that aims to become an authoritative compendium of human knowledge (remember Google’s mission statement?), but which actually prioritizes ideology over facts. History is littered with many who have tried this sort of moral flexibility “for the greater good.” Rather than helping, they typically resulted in decades of setbacks (and tens of millions of victims).

With some of the scientists who have brought AI into existence saying it is so dangerous as to its possibly bringing mankind to termination, it is not hard to imagine what the other AI will do with the technology. That other AI, Antichrist’s Intelligence, powered by his father of lies, Lucifer, will doubtless indeed seem to exert God-like powers of omniscience, omnipotence, and omnipresence over the victims left behind when the Lord Jesus Christ Rescues all believers in the Rapture just before the unholy trinity takes power during the Tribulation.

You don’t want to be left behind when that evil, phony trinity takes over. Here is how to go to Jesus when He Calls believers to Himself.

A question that is more and more asked of me these days is: “Will the Gog-Magog war take place before the Rapture?” It is, I think, a well-put question considering current developments surrounding Israel, the number one signal of where this generation stands on God’s Prophetic Timeline.

We have gone over a number of times that Jerusalem and Israel are becoming something akin to the burdensome stone and cup of trembling to the world, as the Prophet Zechariah put it. That nation and people, the Jews, are becoming further alienated from many of Earth’s other nations day by day – this despite that it was the vilest anti-Semite people on the planet who attacked Israel in the worst assault on Jews since the holocaust of Hitler’s time.

Supposedly, the brightest among us, intellectually –the greatest thinkers—that is, the brilliant scholars and academicians at the top universities— are inculcating their students with hatred for the Jewish Race. They do this under the guise of claiming that Israel is the occupier of Palestinian land. Thus they further fuel the lies that Hamas and other terrorist organizations of the Arabic-Muslim sort are righteous in their murdering, raping Jewish women, even young girls, and burning Jewish babies alive.

And many of the top nations and their leaderships in the West are either agreeing with the notion of illegitimate Jewish occupation or outright agreeing with the anti-Semites of Earth that Israel, not the terrorists, should be marginalized. These are saying Israel must be punished for declaring the intention to eradicate Hamas and other murderous such organizations no matter what it takes.

This American presidential administration, thus our nation’s governmental entities, demonstrate daily that America wants Israel to stop its war on Hamas and other terrorists. Our State Department issues dictates, notes of protest, and even warnings that Israel must negotiate for a cessation of fighting. They seem almost to want to spare particularly the terrorist leaders from punishment.

All the while, these same governmental sorts want the killing to continue in Ukraine while they incessantly hit up Congress to provide Ukraine with many billions of dollars for munitions. This they do even though there is absolutely no way Ukraine could ever defeat Russia’s massive military.

A negotiated peace settlement is just not on the minds of the American military-industrial complex –as President Dwight D. Eisenhower named it based upon the evil he saw within that cabal.

And with all this surrounding the number one signal that indicates that we are at the end of this age of Grace, another profound signal, in my view, arises to consider. It looks as if the current leader of the chief nation that will be involved in the Ezekiel 38-39 Gog Magog attack against Israel is up to some interesting interaction with the Jewish state’s Middle Eastern antagonists.

Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov announced the initiative on Friday, highlighting Moscow’s desire to engage with all major players in the region amid heightened tensions.

The invitation included a dozen Palestinian groups and is slated for “inter-Palestinian” talks scheduled to commence on February 29.

Bogdanov, serving as President Vladimir Putin’s special envoy for the Middle East, emphasized the inclusivity of the invitation, stating, “We invited all Palestinian representatives — all political forces that have their positions in different countries, including Syria, Lebanon, and other countries in the region.”

Among the invitees are Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, alongside representatives of Fatah and the broader Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO).

The invitation comes at a critical juncture as the Israel-Hamas conflict continues to escalate, drawing international attention and concern. Russia’s proactive stance in convening discussions reflects its growing criticism of Israel and its Western allies, underscoring Moscow’s efforts to assert its influence in the region. According to Ezekiel’s prophecy of chapters 38 and 39, many of these peoples involved in Vladimir Putin’s invitation to this confab will be part of the Gog-Magog assault on Israel. It isn’t out of the realm of rational thought to wonder whether this or other such meetings might be convened, which might bring to Gog’s mind the evil thought that God will allow him to think.

“Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought: And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates, To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land” (Ezekiel 38:10-12).

My own much-studied view is that the Gog-Magog attack will take place sometime after the Rapture of the Church (all born-again believers in Christ for salvation). The attack will bring the Lord’s instant Vengeance upon those attacking His Chosen people and nation.

Only one-sixth of these attackers will be left when God is through with them. And I believe that Judgment will include all such anti-Semites, perhaps around the world. Such an action by God will, I’m convinced, be catastrophic on a global scale. This means, following that catastrophic action, it will not be business as usual, as Jesus foretells about the moment He will next Intervene, as He described as recorded in Luke 17:26-30.

So the Gog-Magog attack against Israel must take place sometime following Christ’s calling the Church to Himself, I believe.

Make sure you go to be with the Lord when He calls believers in the Rapture. You will be Forever Safe in His Loving Arms while God’s Righteous Judgment and Wrath fall upon the rebels of Earth.

Here again is the Way –the Only Way to go to Jesus, either through the portal of death or in the Rapture. (My phraseology of the scripture.)

The finiteness of the human brain can be most frustrating. Infinite questions sometimes rumble around in fruitless searches and, of course, find no answers.

One such imponderable question, comprising several others that encircle that primary quandary, is: From whence comes the thing called iniquity?

Yes. There is, of course, a definition of the term, as there is for all other words within dictionaries of the world. But we don’t ask: “What” is iniquity? We are living through it! We can see it manifest in every direction we look on today’s horizon of egregious activity. We know “what” it is. What we want to know is: “From where does all that evil, that wickedness that the term defines come?”

As believers in the inerrant Word of God, the Bible, we look there to find out the only information there is about this infinite term and the question posed that befuddles the finite apparatus of human thinking –the brain. We look here for ultimate answers to life because the Word of God –the Bible—comes from the Mind of the Creator of all things. His Answers ARE the answers we desire and the ones we can absolutely take as 100% Truth.

Therefore, we have to look at the thing called iniquity through the Perfect Prism, which is the Word of God.

God, the Creator of all that is, Created everything Perfectly. God cannot make mistakes, just like He cannot tell a lie. He is Absolute Truth. His Son, Who Created all that is, is the Way, the Truth, and the Life…

So, if God can do no wrong and Creates only Perfectly, from where comes this most perplexing thing God’s Word calls iniquity? Here is where that blasphemous evil term first appears, disrupting God’s Perfection.

“Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyros, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee” (Ezekiel 28:12-15).

Isaiah the prophet next describes the mind-boggling moment iniquity was found in Lucifer.

“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High” (Isa 14:12-14).

Iniquity was possibly first found in Lucifer, maybe the Apex Angel of God’s Creation in considering Heaven’s Angelic Order. I say “possibly” and “maybe” because there are things of the Eternal Sphere that the finite mind is neither privy to nor can grasp. I.e., the thing called iniquity could have been interjected into being earlier, and there might be an Angel above Lucifer’s Heavenly Status; we just can’t know at this time. We can know only what God’s Word illumines for now. We might know at some time in the Eternal future when we will be like Him.

Thou wast perfect in thy way, Ezekiel tells in speaking to Lucifer. He was blameless, as given for the term perfect in other translations. Repeatedly, the designation perfect is translated as “without defect” (Leviticus 1:3, 10; 3:1, 6, 4:3, 23, 28, 32; 5:15, 18, etc.) The word perfect or blameless is used to describe God once, but the majority of the time, it describes humans. The perfect God created all beings, angelic and human, in perfection. God’s inerrant Word clearly shows that God created everything that was created only in Perfect order.

This Truth magnifies the thing called iniquity and its strange, inexplicable entrance into that perfect order. It is a thing beyond finite understanding or explanation.

To begin, we acknowledge God’s absolute Sovereignty. That is, He is Omnipotent and Omniscient, and, of course, Omnipresent. He answers to no one and is governed only by His Own Holy Righteousness.

However, our finite minds are equipped with fertile imagination, and I think it is not counter to God’s Holy Will to use imagination to pose a possible, even most likely, probability regarding this thing called iniquity.

He has chosen to let us know that the evil that is now saturating His once Perfect Creation came to be through the thing called iniquity. It first entered, so far as He has chosen to let us know, when it entered the perfectly created Majestic Angel Lucifer.

The manifestation of iniquitous behavior was in the form of Pride that welled within this glorious creature, who determined that he was equal or even greater than his Creator. Lucifer, then, obviously was Granted by God the Creator, the ability to choose. He was given volition.

The most likely reason for granting this, considering the matters involved from this weak, finite brain function, is that God wants His Creation –whether Angels or humankind, to have the freedom and the ability to have free will…volition. He didn’t want robots that had no choice in the matter of obeying Him.

Obedience, in God’s Order of things, equates to love. Jesus, Who is God, said to those who would follow Him: “If ye love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15).

In Jonathan Brentner’s and my new book, HEREAFTER: It’s Far Better Than You Imagine, we scripturally document that Eternity in Heaven with God Forever will be populated only by those who love Him. There will be no more sin infection from which came into God’s Perfect Creation this mysterious evil called iniquity.

To be among that population, Perfected like those Reconciled with God the Father through God the Son, you and I must obey the Instructions Given by Jesus, Who is the very Word of God (John 1:1). Here is what that Word Commands/Instructs in order to be in Glory Forever:

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10: 9-10).
