Things aren’t moving quickly enough to suit the globalists elite, the would-be masters of the earth. Their Agenda 21 and Agenda 30 and their Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) must be put on a fast track. That ambition is delineated briefly in the following declaration from within the globalist cabal:

Making the SDG Summit a turning point

The SDG Summit, in September 2023, must signal a genuine turning point. It must mobilize the political commitment and breakthroughs our world desperately needs. It must deliver a rescue plan for people and planet.

At the center of this rescue plan, Heads of State and Government must recommit to seven years of accelerated, sustained, and transformative action, both nationally and internationally, to deliver on the promise of the SDGs. Leaders can show their resolve by adopting an ambitious and forward-looking political declaration at the SDG Summit and presenting global and national commitments for SDG transformation.

It has been, the powers that be surmise with worry on their brow, eight years since the international community agreed to take bold and transformative steps to achieve the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

This lofty aim involves a plan of action to secure the rights and well-being of everyone on a healthy, thriving planet, according to the document expressing their concern that things have fallen behind their initial timeline.

Promises in peril

A recently released report by the secretary general on “progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals” draws on the latest data to sound the alarm for action. Of the roughly 140 targets with data, only about 12% are on track to be achieved by 2030; and some 30% have either seen no movement or progressed below the 2030 baseline.

Giving up on the SDG or extending the deadline is not an option. The world has been rocked by a series of interlocked crises…

Recommitting to the 2030 Agenda is the best roadmap out of these crises, but we are fast running out of time. (Ibid.)

What is generating the worry, thus the hurry?

I, personally, question whether someone at or near the top of the globalist, Ephesians 6:12 cabal is receiving from the principality above their pay grade a prompting to get the Agenda 30 SDG in order.

We are seven years from the date of Agenda 2030’s supposed implementation. The powers and principalities with the blueprint to get all this accomplished must, they are told, recommit to seven years of accelerated, sustained, and transformative action.

All of this “seven years” talk smacks of the instrument of pseudo peace that portends ominous things for inhabitants of the earth, as we know.

A man possessing solution to the crises will soon emerge. He will offer a plan of peace that the World Economic Forum leader-types will wholeheartedly embrace. Israel will, upon this false peacemaker’s appearance, sign on to the covenant of peace as foretold in Daniel 9: 26. It will be a covenant made with death and hell, according to God’s Word through the prophet Isaiah.

Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves.… And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it. (Isaiah 28:15, 18)

There is coming out of the soon-to-be united Europe a leader who will go “forth conquering, and to conquer” (Revelation 6:2). “There was given unto him a mouth speaking great things” (Revelation 13:5).

This mightiest leader ever will come riding the white horse of peacemaker and will confirm the covenant with many for one week. Translation: This leader from a Europe united in a configuration equivalent to the Europe of the Roman Empire days—a revived Roman Empire, a neo-Roman order of sorts—will make, or confirm, a covenant treaty already constructed, to which Israel will be a major signatory.

The pact will be for seven years, one year equaling one day of the seven-day week indicated in the Scriptures. The “conquering” by the leader at this point is likely to be in the realm of diplomacy. Undoubtedly, he will offer brilliant initiatives, magnified in their allurement by a charismatic, personal charm that convinces Jew and Arab alike to trust him as a friend of all. As the guarantor of the peace not just for that region, but for a global peace upon which can be built a New World Order and a new age of prosperity, he will succeed where others have failed. His promises will be sweet to the ears of a world ravenous for such lies. And lies they will be.

Jesus said it will bring about the worst time of all human history (Matthew 24: 21).

With all the other signals manifesting at this time, the talk of a seven-year plan by the leaders who propose a New World Order is a most significant marker of where this generation is poised on God’s prophetic timeline.

Jesus, Himself, promised that His people—the Church—will be kept from those seven years of hell on earth Isaiah forewarned:

Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. (Revelation 3:10)  

You don’t want to be on earth when those seven years of judgment and wrath fall on the God-rejecting people. Accepting Jesus Christ is the only way to be removed to the safety Christ offers.

Every signal is pulsing in the spirit of those observing the prophetic times; Jesus is about to call all believers to Himself in that glorious moment of Rapture!

Here is how to make sure you are in God’s family for eternity, so you will not go earth’s most horrific time:

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9–10) 

Much angst was generated from the matter of the Wagner Group’s movement toward Moscow. Everyone within the media and diplomatic circles was thoroughly exercised. But, strangely, the populous–here in America at least—seemed to pay minimum attention.

Nuclear war was almost a certainty, according to some sources, if the assaulting force leader Yevgeny Prigozhin had knocked Dictator Vladimir Putin off his throne. It was one big rumor of war, in the vernacular of Bible prophecy. But all seems to have fizzled, with Prigozhin, Putin’s former “best friend,” as some would have it, stopped the assault and was” exiled” to Belarus.

The experts at every level are still trying to do the calculus on the things involved. And I certainly have no idea of what the strange turn of events meant –or means even yet.

I do believe, however, that it is not just political maneuvering and/or diplomatic high jinks at the heart of it all.

We are, by every metric that prophecy watchers can employ, getting near the very last moments of the final days of the age. Of this, I am confident with all that is within the spiritual prompts that continue to insinuate into my deep desire to comprehend exactly where things stand on God’s Prophetic Timeline.

Next to all of the many stage-setting machinations taking place surrounding the prophetic nation of Israel, those involving the forming of the Gog-Magog force of Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39 are currently front and center.

Of course, the two prophetic issues are inextricably intertwined. Dynamics stirring the volatility of the Middle East are powerfully in agitation at present. That turbulence surrounding Israel and Russia –and all other entities— makes the student of Bible prophecy from the preTrib view strongly suspect the source from whence comes the burgeoning tempest.

The tumult taking place in the geographical area that Ezekiel foretold will bring about one of mankind’s final and most horrific battles. We know that, at this late hour of the age, this present stage-setting for that future war is demonically driven. While we can’t slice and dice into precise details how the dynamics are shaping –are stage-setting— for the Gog-Magog war, we can be assured the devil is in the details, as it is said.

Author Jonathan Cahn has taken considerable flak in criticism of his latest book, Return of the gods. He gets no such criticism from this quarter. Anyone who is observing these insane times, whether they acknowledge it or not, must sense something akin to invasion from a culturally-darkening force taking place.

Cahn questions in an article: “Is it possible that behind what is happening to America and the world lies a mystery hidden in inscriptions of ancient Mesopotamia?

Could the ancient entities known to the nations as the “gods” be more than just fiction and myth – but actually possess an independent reality?

“Is it possible that they have returned to our world? Could these entities lie behind what we see on our television screens and computer monitors, what our children are being taught in their classrooms, current events, news, and the movements of our times – behind what is even now influencing our lives without our realizing it? Could this mystery be the explanation behind all the strange transformations happening to our culture in our own day?

I believe that the answer is yes. And I believe that one such entity termed Gog in God’s prophetic Word is one who has been loosed to enter into the world at this time. The entity is from the abyss and will, at some point, indwell the leader of the Gog-Magog force. From this demon from the abyss will come the evil thought, which God will use to put hooks in the jaws of this demonically-inspired leader of the Israel-hating military juggernaut.

It seems to me that all the things we see stirring within the Russia-Ukraine conflict, and all we have witnessed develop with regard to the conflict between Vladimir Putin and Yevgeny Prigozhin involves the possibility of that entity called Gog now being freed to do his devilish worst. Even though things are stirring in ways that create that angst I mention in the beginning of this commentary, it is obvious that God’s Restraining Hand is Firmly in Control.

Just as it looked as if Putin might do something unthinkable, like unleash a nuke or two on the force threatening to dethrone him, there was a simmering down. Diplomats and media pundits will say almost in unison that cooler heads prevailed and the situation was chilled by internal negotiations, etc. But we who hold to the belief in that Restrainer of 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 know better.

There can, at this moment in time, be no nuclear war –in the sense of a world-rendering holocaust—because it just doesn’t fit the Bible’s prophetic scenario.

Gog’s defeat is yet future, and that defeat is now in the stage-setting phase, as we have been witnessing. That demonic entity could well have been loosed as part of the Return of the gods, as our friend Jonathan Cahn proposes.

This all means that stage-setting for the wrap-up of this Age of Grace (Church Age) is almost complete. The next Event on God’s Prophetic Timeline, as we of the preTrib viewpoint believe, is the Rapture.

You don’t want to remain on this planet when the Gog spirit and all other evil from the abyss take over when the Restrainer removes His Heavenly Handcuffs for the 7 years of Tribulation.

Here again is what you must do to make sure you go to be with the Lord Jesus and to safety during that terrible time to come.

An emailer recently wrote concerning his observations regarding the unending attacks on former President Donald Trump. His thoughts, plus Todd Strandberg’s Nearing Midnight column commentary, “The Death of Justice in America,” of June 19 on Raptureready.com, evoked my own desire to delve deeper into what this increasingly virulent assault by US officialdom might portend, prophetically speaking.

Keith, the emailer, in effect, wrote in part: “Make no mistake about it.  The arrest of Trump by WANNABE DICTATOR JOE BIDEN (a Fox News Headline says) GREATLY INCREASES THE DANGER OF A NAZI STYLE HOLOCAUST! The Headline by Fox Editor was very accurate when it said ‘WANNABE DICTATOR SPEAKS AT THE WHITE HOUSE AFTER HAVING HIS RIVAL ARRESTED.’ The headline editor was fired by Fox News for posting this truthful headline. This is a real threat to our safety and liberties.  If the wicked government can take down Trump, no one else is safe.”

My thoughts then went to all of the ways this administration and the federal government have weaponized the American system of justice and continue to use it as a bludgeon against political opposition.

We remember FBI treatment given Trump team members General Michael Flynn, Peter Navarro, and a number of others. Some were met at their front doors by SWAT teams brandishing automatic weapons while the victims of the assaults were still in their pajamas and night gowns. Their children were subjected to the humiliating phony arrests as well.

It depicts the time leading up to the Rapture and forward into the Tribulation era, but it is the scene leading up to the Rapture I remember writing in thinking on this commentary.

The character I created, an old man—younger than I now am—was the head of an organization called PAL, standing for Preservers of American Liberty.  He was originally from a nation under the former Soviet Union.  He was a Christian and led the group of young men and women dedicated to fighting against the tyranny that was about to take over in the United States. These diabolists whom PAL opposed were all of what we might now term the “Deep State.”

A couple of agents from a clandestine service came to the old man’s Rockville, Maryland, home and threatened him. They roughed him up, leaving him bleeding.

The agents commanded him to desist from his organizations efforts to oppose things going on in the nation. If he didn’t, they would be back and things would not go as well as this particular visit.

In fact—rather in fiction—they (or someone or something) did return to finish the job when he wouldn’t desist from his leading his PAL organization. He was murdered, but was useful to the Lord’s work even through death when the Rapture took place. I’ll show my commercial crassness side and let you get the book to find out how Dr. Hugo Marchek served in this way.

I remember thinking while creating this scene that surely this kind of thing was a long way off. But my thought was that this was the scene as it was supposed to be presented.

Turns out the American law enforcement’s “alphabet agencies” have swiftly grown to be more Orwellian than my imagination conceived all those years. Having watched developments, I now sometimes wonder when the alphabet agents might pay this old guy (yours truly) a visit! –Thus the article title: Future Visit from the Past?

I’m not the only one who considers the possibilities in this regard. Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who has thrown his hat into the political ring in the Democrat presidential nomination process, seems to have similar questions. And he, more than most, has reason to think in this vein. His uncle JFK and father RFK, as we all know, were both assassinated.

Mr. Kennedy has stated on several occasions he believes the CIA was involved in President Kennedy’s assassination. He has said he is aware that he, himself, might be in danger, and he indicates that it is the U.S. clandestine-type agencies that are worth guarding against.

Conspiracy theorist and Democratic 2024 presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. believes his uncle was assassinated by the CIA. He told Joe Rogan that he’s “aware” that he, too, could be targeted by U.S. intelligence — but he doesn’t “live in fear” of the possibility.

Kennedy has repeatedly stated his belief that the Central Intelligence Agency was responsible for the assassinations of his uncle, former President John F. Kennedy, as well as his father Robert F. Kennedy. Rogan brought it up during his podcast on Thursday. “You’re talking about your uncle, who was assassinated and you believe the intelligence agencies were a part of that,” he asked Kennedy. “What happens to you?”

“I gotta be careful,” Kennedy replied. “I’m aware of that, I’m aware of that danger. I don’t live in fear of it — at all. But I’m not stupid about it and I take precautions.” (“RFK Jr. Tells Joe Rogan He’s ‘Aware’ of Possibility CIA Could Assassinate Him,” Yahoo News, June, 2023)

You notice it’s a Yahoo News rendition of the story, so Kennedy is termed at the outset as a “conspiracy theorist.” He is not in the good graces of the ultra-liberal Democrat upper strata, or of their mainstream mouthpiece outlets like Yahoo News.

American government and the New World Order minions of Ephesians 6:12 are building toward the time when the Antichrist regime can take its place as the most tyrannical system of all history. This can’t happen until the Restrainer, resident within each believer, is no longer on planet earth.

You don’t want to be left here when life imitates art, as in my fictional account of Jacob’s Trouble 666. You want to be one who hears Jesus Call “Come up here!” (Revelation 4: 2)

Recently I wrote an article titled ”Are You Hungry Yet?” about the many evils setting the stage for fulfillment of prophecy—the signals of the coming Apocalypse, Tribulation, etc.

I hoped that article would stimulate the believer’s spiritual appetite for the moment we all sit down together at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. I hope it made you look forward to that magnificent banquet with great anticipation, as I do.

Our appearance before our Lord and Savior in the clouds of glory could be in the very next moment, and we will then find ourselves before the bema—the judgment seat of Christ. With the rewards presented by Christ for the work we did in His holy name while we lived on earth, we will then accompany our Bridegroom and Lord of all lords in an exhilarating mission. We’ll go with Him to put an end to Armageddon and the wickedness that will have, by that time, completely engulfed planet Earth.

Then we’ll take part in the greatest of all banquets on a supernaturally refurbished planet. We will sit down at the Marriage Supper in honor of Jesus Christ, the Son of God who died for us and resurrected so that we could be redeemed from sin and become the Heavenly Father’s intimate family for eternity.

This great promise from God’s Word is contrasted by what will first take place. The great famine that is already in view will be just the opposite of the blessed Marriage Supper that will satisfy every need and satiate every hunger forever.

All people who turn their backs on God and his righteous Rx for living will experience famine. This is a principle understood through God’s archetype people/nation, Israel. The following describes what happens to people who become anti-God in comportment and instead go their own way, adhering to doing what is right in their own eyes.

Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord: And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, and shall not find it. In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst. They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, Thy god, O Dan, liveth; and, The manner of Beer-sheba liveth; even they shall fall, and never rise up again. (Amos 8:11–14)

The prophecy above did indeed take place on God’s chosen people. They have refused to hear God’s Word and have suffered—to this day—a spiritual famine. We know they suffered a literal famine in the Holocaust through starvation and every sort of atrocity, as they are prophetically scheduled to again suffer during that last seven years before Christ’s return. They have a disease that has blinded them to their true Messiah and His love for them. This we see in Romans chapter 11.

But it isn’t only a spiritual famine that’s coming for those who reject God’s call and prescription for life on His planet. There is coming a famine of the literal sort. And, according to Jesus’ own Words, it will be the worst of famines—the worst time in all of human history. The hunger it will produce will be deadly, but that will be only part of the Tribulation that God-rejecters will suffer.

That hunger is symbolically described as the third horseman and his black steed found in Revelation chapter 6.

The spiritual famine is already underway. Dr. David Jeremiah reported in his morning broadcast the other day that 52 percent of evangelical Christians no longer believe the Bible is inerrant. So it is not hard to extrapolate from that astonishing statistic the degree to which anti-Bible attacks are occurring and will soon be underway by the unbelieving world.

As Dr. Jeremiah said, questioning spiritual authority is in vogue; heritage is being lost. He said Mark Twain, even in his day, said: “The Bible is a book praised, but rarely read.”

So mankind is well down the broad way of biblical famine that leads to hunger, starvation, and, ultimately, eternal separation from the Creator-God who has moved Heaven and Hell to bring the only truth that can provide sustenance that assures eternal life.

Again, the best proof I can think of that shows specifically where the world is at present in that regard is this matter of Pride month.

The entire world is caught up at the moment—in June, 2023—in activity that can only be described as like in the days of Lot. Those with the loudest media voices declare through the transsexual and homosexual rants that God doesn’t have the right to declare the gender or deportment of His human creation.

This nation is guilty to the maximum extent in this wickedness. That is, America is, as I see it, at the very heart of this Sodom-like festival on a global scale. America is leading the way in pride fully showing out in total anti-God, back-turning as never before.

Again, David Jeremiah reminded that spiritual appetite for God’s Word has been greatly damaged on this fallen sphere. Mankind has thus lost the moral compass meant to keep humanity from starvation, both spiritual and literal.

The Bible is now being called hate speech by even governmental auspices and court systems here in the United States. Atheists now have stickers they place on Bibles in hotels and other places that proclaim: “Caution, this book is hazardous to your health.”

But God is not mocked, as Paul proclaims.

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. (Galatians 6:7–8)

The horsemen of the Apocalypse are about to mount their terrifying steeds. They will go forth to put an end to the mockery of the God of Heaven and His Beloved Son Jesus Christ.

You don’t want to be a part of this increasing spiritual famine or the coming literal famine the black horse of Revelation chapter 6 will bring. Here is how to be kept from that horrendous time of judgment and wrath and instead sit down at the Marriage Supper to be filled with God’s righteousness and be within God’s family forever:

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9–10)

Do you trust anything coming from government mouthpieces these days? I must say that I don’t. Every level of federal officialdom is observably steeped in Luciferian prevarication, so far as I am concerned.

There is simply nothing biblical about this grab for power and control by a government inebriated on the dollars it can print and spend almost by presidential fiat. If it truly were a biblically correct—rather than politically correct—effort, I would have no problem with it.

Now to look more deeply into the reason Christians shouldn’t support this or any such grab for control that ultimately will enslave.

Human governance, we must remember, is not God’s Idea. It is man’s idea—to do things apart from the Creator. We see this from history given in the Bible.

Adam’s first decision to disobey God and instead accept Lucifer’s way was rebellion against God’s governance, and it came to a crisis point when the whole world became filled with violence and was corrupted in every other way, producing total anarchy. The Flood provided a new beginning.

Then came the crisis on the plain of Shinar with Nimrod and the Tower of Babel. Again, God dealt with the crisis, and the whole human government was destroyed and the people scattered. Peleg and the peoples of earth were geographically redistributed, and all of the rest…

Israel was the next example. The chosen of God—the Jewish people—wanted human government, not God’s reign, over them. The Lord let them have Saul. He did that because He is a God who gave mankind volition. He wants His creation to love Him unconditionally; He doesn’t want robots engineered to adore Him.

Lying, humanistic government is again building to a supreme crisis point. It has always built to crises points. Every civilization, empire, etc., has come apart, dissolved, or been destroyed because of rebellion and determination to live apart from God.

This time, it is building like the Vesuvius of all rebellions. America is the apex nation of all nations, and is the head of this gargantuan boil that is filling with explosive corruption that will one day blow. All nations of the world have, through their link to the dollar, been tied inextricably to the US—the most materially blessed of all nations to have come to power upon the planet. Now America is the holdup to the New World Order the globalist minions want to create. They are doing all within their power, through the World Economic Forum and other one-world organizations, to destroy America as founded. Those within the American government at the highest levels are in cahoots with their New World Order cabalists, doing all they can to change America from its founding in order to turn it over to the likes of the World Economic Forum and other anti-God forces.

All of this corruption constitutes the Babylonian system, which Daniel and John prophesied in presenting the strange beast that comes up out of the sea in Revelation 1 and lumbers about in Daniel 7.

America is bound to Israel in a supernatural way, and it is all tied together by the incessant call for peace—not God’s peace, but humanistic peace. The result is going to be exactly as God gives it in Psalm 2, then the “kings of the earth” will achieve the “peace” they desire, as given in Isaiah 28:15 and 18.

Man will get his humanistic government; the ultimately “evolved” man will be earth’s master for a brief time, God letting man have his desire to do what is right in his own eyes.

This current bubble of humanistic effort to build utopia, which supposedly can be achieved through a drive for humanistic socialism (that’s the only kind of socialism there is), will explode when the Rapture occurs and the top is knocked off the boil. Only God’s staying hand has kept things from imploding—economic collapse, etc.

So, I am against man-made efforts in wanting to micromanage our lives. Such efforts comprise the grist for tyranny. You see where it’s going. It is nothing more or less than a luciferian grab for power—a voracious lust for control by his human agents and agencies.

God gave man, through the Bible, the formula for living life the way He intended. His Word says in effect that we should “let those who won’t work, not eat” (see 2 Thessalonians 3:10, 12). He gave us the way to take care of the widows, orphans, and the infirm—even the legitimately indigent. This is to be done through the largesse of God’s people, those who fully accept His way of governance. The Lord Jesus Christ is that only way. Man long ago decided to dispense with God’s prescription in dealing with matters of societal interaction. Burdensome, enslaving, lying government seeks power through promising deliverance from social ills it can never produce. What it will produce, however, we can see in Bible prophecy’s description of humanistic government’s final attempt to usurp the throne of God. (Read Revelation 13:16–18.)

Author’s Note: The article this week is one written way back in February of 2006. But it is pertinent to this advanced time because I’ve been receiving a number of reports of dreams that indicate the dreamers/vision recipients have prophetic words directly from the throne room of God.

Specific destruction within exact date parameters are often given in these dreams and visions.

This is not to ridicule anyone who believes they are receiving such prophetic directives. I, again–as in the following that was written so long ago—want only to caution against falling for false prophecies. The foretellings in God’s love letter to mankind is more than enough to perk up our spiritual ears and eyes in these times when Christ’s call to believers must be so near. 

God’s Prophecy Not Enough?

People have, over the years—following the completed Word of God, with its sixty-six books—made predictions based upon dreams and, less frequently, upon visions.

Despite all of the twisting of logic and rewriting of historical record, both recent and of the past that is far removed from the present, the non-biblical dreams and visions have proved to be non-events.

Oh, people can find things supposedly fulfilled within the quatrains written by the French “seer” Nostradamus. His and others’ “prophecies” are declared by many as having come to pass, as demonstrated by the rise of Adolf Hitler and the advent of other “foretold” regimes and events.

I have heard stories of blazing fires in the major cities of the U.S., “prophesied” by both well-known and lesser-known preachers of various stripes. America was going to be judged and destroyed by God’s mighty hand in the 1960s, ’70s,’’ ’80s, and ’90s. Now there are predictions—and I get them constantly through e-mail—of the most horrendous fate imaginable for the United States, based upon dreams of the most detailed variety. The dream date-setters missed January 23, 2006, on just such a prediction. A married couple saw all of the things we’ve been warned about: American cities aflame, getting exactly what the nation deserves.

They saw the dreams that were almost identical, so the story goes. That January 23 was to be America’s judgment day. Defenders of the couples missing the target are saying their appeals for prayers that the Lord would spare the nation and give America another chance were likely the reason the dreams didn’t become reality.

Now, folks, may I say this as gently as possible? What sort of fodder does such dream stuff—which is always claimed to emanate from the very throne of God—give Satan’s army in this fallen world that he so effectively rules already? Is it not time to stop disseminating these bad cases of nocturnal indigestion during somnolence—or whatever is prompting such utter nonsense? Do we never learn that these are not from the Lord our God, after every single one of the “prophecy-dreams” has failed to produce a single proof of their validity?

I get them every week. If each one I’ve been sent just since January 1 of that year came true within the time allotted, you wouldn’t be reading this. But, I wouldn’t be writing it, either! We would all be finished! A bit of prayerful and well-studied speculation is within the realm of being good “watchmen,” as Jesus exhorted in Mark 13: 37 and Luke 21: 28. But dreams and visions that are extrabiblical are not right to either issue or receive. They are either bad spaghetti, absolute falsehoods, or “dreams and visions” that emanate from somewhere other than from the throne room of God.

God’s “dreams and visions,” you see, ALWAYS COME TRUE!

My apologies for screaming at you, but we’ve got to realize that dreams and visions that are not already in God’s Word are, well, not from His Son, Jesus Christ, the Living Word. His prophecy ALWAYS comes true—every time, without exception. And that prophecy is based upon the consistent principles laid out plainly in the Word He left us.

We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. (2 Peter 1:19–2 1)

I know the cry that will be forthcoming.

“That same Bible says: ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams’ (Acts 2:17).”

Agreed. Very strong proof text that these dreams will again be in effect, following the Bible’s completion, when the last prophet wrote the last prophecy.

But to understand Acts 2:17, we must also understand that the following, in this New Testament passage, is taken from the Old Testament, which puts it in proper context.

And it shall come to pass afterward, [that] I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. (Joel 2:28)

This is what is meant by the above Scripture, “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.” Scripture must be interpreted by Scripture. Scripture must be looked at in total context; it cannot be dissected and used any way the reader wishes.

So what does this earlier passage in Joel say, to give context to the latter in Acts? The key is given by the words: “And it shall come to pass afterward…”.

Specifically, the operative word is “afterward.”

The Word of God plainly teaches in the preceding twenty-seven passages and before that the Day of the Lord—the Tribulation—must first have taken place. These wondrous “dreams and visions” for a time yet future are for the glorious days of the Millennium!

Still, I realize I will get all kinds of arguments about this. So, let me just ask those who would do the rock throwing: “Where are your dreams and visions that have come 100 percent—or even 10 percent—true, by Bible standards, God’s standards?”

These exercises in hyperbole and sensationalism must stop for the sake of the Gospel of Christ. Let us simply watch and try to determine the times and seasons we are in, so far as God’s prophetic timeline is concerned. But, let us do so through God’s microscope of Bible truth. Let’s not try to build personal reputations upon false prognostications—or bad pizza.

It’s my opinion that we cannot overemphasize the importance of the Work the Holy Spirit is accomplishing at this moment in history. The Third Person of the Godhead – sent here by the Lord Jesus upon Ascending to the Throne room in Heaven to dwell within each and every believer of the Church Age (Age of Grace) – is presently doing truly phenomenal acts of Restraint.

While, on the surface of Planet Earth, evil seems to be uncontrolled and even uncontrollable, God the Holy Spirit has a Firm Hold on Heaven’s Chain attached to the old serpent’s Collar of Restraint.

We have looked at this supernatural Restraint a number of times in these columns. And doing so should provide a degree of confidence and comfort. God will absolutely not, in this present dispensation, allow Satan and his minions to get away with all their nefarious wickedness. We look in this instance of exactly the kind of holding back the Luciferian plans with regard to a specific, big-time prophetic entity scheduled to be unleashed at some point yet future.

The Scripture, again, that promises God’s Restraint is the following.

“For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he [the Holy Spirit] who now letteth [Restrains] will let [Restrain], until he [the Holy Spirit] be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked [Antichrist] be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming” (2 Thes 2:7-8).

Nuclear war is, at present, the biggest fear of most every diplomat around the world. It seems to me that the average person – at least here in the U.S. – has nowhere near the fear of a nuclear war as did that of my generation those years ago. I’ve expressed a number of times of being worried as a teenager in high school, reading in the school library during study hall about how the Soviets were threatening to nuke anyone who stood in their way of dominating all of Europe – and anywhere else they wished to dominate.

So, with the diplomats who are supposedly in the know about how serious are the threats made by China, as we will look at here, I should be worried, at least to the extent I was worried as that teenager all those years ago.

But I’m not worried – not in the least. There, of course, is a very good reason. I know what God’s Word has to say about your and my future. Bible Prophecy, to me and to those who view it from the preTrib perspective, provides both the confidence and the comfort I mentioned above.

The prospects a little further out in the future, on the other hand, should terrify with abject fear and dread those who don’t know Jesus for Salvation. Nuclear war is almost a certainty as part of the Tribulation era. And China is, I’m certain, to be perhaps the deadliest of all entities in bringing forth destruction – so far as consideration of human involvement in destruction is concerned.

Bible Prophecy foretells that there will be a force to rival that of the great fuehrer of the Fourth Reich. The power will come from the oriental world. John the Revelator was given the prophecy about this tremendous force by the angel assigned to relay the Message from God’s Throne.

We are told of this military juggernaut in two prophetic passages.

“And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them” (Revelation 9:13-16).

“And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared” (Revelation 16:12).

This huge military force will approach the occidental world from the far reaches of the oriental world. The numbers are staggering to consider!

China looks at this time in history to be the King of the kings of the east. And they are threatening to invade Taiwan at any time, expressing their willingness to use even nuclear weaponry against the U.S. to accomplish their intention.

The same thing that has kept the nuclear Genie in the bottle is obviously now being used to slow this great military power – to keep the Sino giant bottled up, so to speak. I believe it is a powerful example of God’s Restraining Hand. The following excerpt might further enlighten.

Taiwan’s foreign minister said last week that the US and Taiwan are in talks on the possibility of the island being brought under Washington’s nuclear umbrella, a step that would make a catastrophic war between the US and China much more likely.

Taiwanese Foreign Minister Joseph Wu made the comments before Taiwan’s parliament, the Legislative Yuan. Wu declined to detail the talks when pressed if Taiwan had asked the US to bring the island into its nuclear umbrella.

“Regarding the discussion of this issue with the United States, it is not suitable for me to make it public here,” Wu said, according to The South China Morning Post.

Many of the US’s allies are considered to be under the protection of the US nuclear umbrella, including Japan, South Korea, and every member of NATO. Giving such a guarantee to Taiwan would mean the US could use nuclear weapons if China invades the island or if war breaks out by other means. As stated in the above news analysis, it is feared that America’s thinking on including Taiwan under America’s nuclear protective umbrella will provoke the future King of the kings of the east to start a war leading to nuclear Armageddon. But I see it as the Holy Spirit doing His Restraining Work.

The Chinese communists were becoming aggressive to the point of doing something reckless and invading with conventional force. Being so near their target in proximity, they could have perhaps gotten ahead of their prophesied role as the hegemonic King of the region.

America, uncharacteristically of this particular president, is now thinking of making Taiwan a protectorate under the U.S. nuclear umbrella. Therefore, once again, that nuclear Genie hasn’t gotten out of the bottle because even CCP dictators don’t want to be incinerated in a nuclear holocaust.

In my view of things, this prophesied force of mass destruction – the Sino giant – is thereby Restrained by the Hand of God, using a weak presidential administration to do the Restraining.

It is exciting, not troubling, to see the Holy Spirit at Work, and doing so with ease. It is a Mighty God we serve, indeed.

All this points, of course, to the soon removal of the Restrainer from Planet Earth – at least removal in regard to the level He is Restraining at present. Wherever the Holy Spirit goes, believers in whom He dwells go. It’s exciting because we are talking about Rapture being very soon!

It’s not a question parents have to ask kids like I was while growing up. I was always hungry, so the question was one I didn’t hear until I was probably fully grown and married. Now the question’s as common as: What would you like for dinner? Or, here in the South: What’s for supper?

“Are you hungry yet?” seems a uniquely adult question, posed in anticipation of engaging in an almost ritualistic exercise—that of sitting down to a meal that, in many cases, includes family and/or friends in enjoyable fellowship around the table.

Children sometimes have to be ordered to stop playing—more digital games these days than outdoors play like in the past—in order to get them to eat. Adults—those not so addicted to the same cyberspace pursuits—grow hungry through the sights and aromas that tell them suppertime is at hand. The stomachs rumble a bit, the salivary glands kick in, the brain sounds the dinner bell, and off we go to the supper table.

And, yes, I’m sadly aware that in today’s America, family dinner is often consumed while each diner sits at his or her own meal while continuing to engage in whatever entertainment he or she chooses. I’m thinking nostalgically, I suppose, considering how things used to be and how I wish they would continue.

As poor as the choice of segue I’ve used here might be, I hope it might help us think about how the sights, sounds, aromas, etc., of this present hour are acting upon our senses that alert us to spiritual hunger.

Particularly, I want to turn to thoughts of how near we are to one special meal that will have us all sitting at one table—perhaps my nostalgic wish fulfilled, exponentially.

So, the question again is: “Are you hungry yet?” Do you sense that spiritual burn somewhere deep within that says it’s almost suppertime?

The sounds, sights, smells, and every condition surrounding us at this moment should alert us that Heaven is about to call us to that great supper. Despite the vile, end-times odors that offend, God’s prophetic Word acts as a filter so the student of Bible prophecy can smell the cooking from Heaven’s kitchen.

We’ve covered the senses-offending matters for a long time now. Each of the things Jesus and the prophets foretold are heating to the point of becoming painful to endure: Israel on the verge of war for survival, with pressures to give God’s Land for peace; the powerful drive for a global New World Order; the deceivers and great deception; wars and rumors of war; the development of AI and other technologies that threaten to enslave; the reprobate evil that is Sodom-like, with even some Christian pastors and churches refusing to resist—all tells us that Great Supper is at hand.

I write this, of course, especially in regard to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. So let’s look at that magnificent heavenly feast that awaits.

Although there are differing views on this event, which will bring all believers together at the Lord’s table, I believe Dr. Thomas Ice has it right. He is the head of the PreTrib Study Group that meets annually at Dallas. This is the conference established by Dr. Tim LaHaye and Dr. Ice, of which I remain a member.

Many believe the Marriage Supper of the Lamb is the same event as the Marriage of the Lamb. Dr. Ice correctly interprets God’s prophetic Word in this regard.

“Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready.” And it was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen are the righteous acts of the saints. And he said to me, “Write, ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.'” And he said to me, “These are true words of God.”

—Revelation 19:7-9

It is at this point that many Christians today often confuse the marriage of the Lamb with the marriage supper of the Lamb. But they are two separate events that occur at two different times in history. Revelation 19:9 says, “Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” This passage clearly has a forward look anticipating a future time. It cannot refer to anyone in heaven since the church (the bride) is the only redeemed entity in heaven. However, after the second coming when believers from other ages will be resurrected (Dan. 12:2) along with tribulation saints, both mortal and resurrected ones (Rev. 20:4), these will be the invited guest who will be guests at this celebration supper. I believe that the marriage supper will be during the first part of the millennial reign of Christ. Fruchtenbaum says:

Hence, the “many” who are bidden to attend the marriage feast on earth are all the Old Testament saints and the Tribulation saints resurrected after the Second Coming. While the marriage ceremony will take place in heaven, the marriage feast will take place on earth after the Second Coming. In fact, it would seem that the marriage feast is what begins the Millennium or the Messianic Kingdom; the Church’s co-reigning with the Messiah will start with a tremendous marriage feast. (Dr. Arnold Fruchtenbaum, Footsteps of the Messiah, p. 597)

Though the marriage of the Lamb to His bride (the church) and the marriage supper of the Lamb are closely related, they are separate events, just as the wedding ceremony and the wedding reception of our day are separate events. In fact, these two events are often held at two different locations, just as the marriage of the Lamb will be in heaven right before the second coming (Rev. 19), while the marriage supper of the Lamb will commence with the beginning of the millennium. There is so much involved in this coming gathering of all the saints of the ages that the differences of opinion are myriad in trying to know all details. Suffice it to say that it will be a grand and glorious coming together of a family more intimate than that of the best gathering human families have ever enjoyed.

You can almost smell the heavenly cuisine being prepared, can’t you?

Are you hungry yet?

At this late hour at the end of the age, it’s obvious to anyone who’s truly attuned to God’s Word and is watching as instructed by the Lord (Mark 13: 37): Christ’s call in the Rapture must be very near. Proof includes that Heaven’s enemy has, it is clear, unleashed the “attack dogs” against God’s Holy Word.

Those “hounds of hell” have chosen a well-known animal-activist entity, whose name by reputation seems nonthreatening while Satan moves forward with his devilish plan. And it seems quite sad, because the organization has done, I presume without knowing very much about it, at least some level of good through its services.

Again we see the rapidly growing—and I believe intrinsically evil—AI technology coming to the forefront of society and culture. Those who are determined to insinuate their controlling, bullying influence have chosen to, through AI, directly attack the Word of God. The following illustrates that the attack dogs have been unleashed in a major way:

Once again, the Left is trying to appropriate the Bible for its own political purposes, this time with the help of artificial intelligence.

Yes, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals last week published a rather milquetoast rewrite of the book of Genesis entitled “The Book: PETA’s Version of the Creation Story.”

The result is inherently offensive, occasionally a tad funny, but ultimately rather underwhelming…

PETA—or the AI, which I’m convinced probably provided the best bits of this dilapidated drivel—decided to be slavishly derivative, repeating original locations and keeping the rough structure of Genesis, while simultaneously scrapping the main theological message of the story and the major plot points that give the inspired Word its emotional heft.

In this incredibly sanitized version of the Bible, Cain isn’t a murderer, Nimrod stops being a hunter, Hagar is a chef, a dog takes the place of Isaac on Mount Moriah and there is no sacrifice, Pharaoh’s butler and baker both live, and Pharaoh’s dreams involve vegan preaching, not the famine responsible for reuniting Jacob’s family. Somewhere between the AI and the wokescolds at PETA, basic details got lost.

For instance, Rachel dies in childbirth with Joseph, rather than with his younger brother Benjamin (Genesis 35), and Benjamin miraculously appears as an elder brother to Joseph. Cain—still the villain of the story—sacrifices animal flesh to God while Abel sacrifices plants, which represents a reversal of the biblical story in which Abel sacrifices his prized sheep. PETA might as well have made Abel the villain, especially since it decided to scrap the murder, anyway.

Most of the main characters—who have rather tremendous flaws in the original version of Genesis—are all morally spotless priests of the vegan religion here, preaching the virtues of soy and almond milk. They go from place to place, spreading the gospel of treating animals like people, and occasionally the animals speak on their own accord. (At one point, camels decide among themselves to teach the uneducated humans, but then decide just to travel with them, instead.)

Joseph’s brothers still decide to kidnap and sell their brother out of jealousy, but they also wouldn’t dare harm a goat to dip his multicolored coat in goat’s blood. Instead, they use beet juice. Yes, they contemplate murdering their own brother, but God forbid they touch an animal…

It seems that whoever at PETA rewrote Genesis lost interest after the first few chapters, letting AI do the rest. (“PETA Teams Up with AI to Rewrite the Bible, Tyler O’Neil/Daily Signal, May 16, 2023)

Some would view all this as drivel, as the writer puts it—just tongue-in-cheek fun-poking. But the God whose Son paid the price for all the sin of the world in the most horrific, humiliating way imaginable, I must believe, finds little humor here.

Neither is the serpent’s intention tongue-in-cheek. He wants to steal truth from and destroy every human being. He fully intends to do so in part by deceiving humans into thinking that neither he nor God even exists. Destroying the veracity of God’s Word is one of the chief ways he is trying to achieve his plan of destroying the human race.

Jesus is the Word.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. (John 1:1–4)

Jesus said that, despite all of the devils’ attempts to destroy those who follow the Lord, we shouldn’t fear or be distracted. He, Jesus, has overcome the world (as well as the flesh and the devil).

Satan and all of Hell’s attack dogs will never destroy the Word of God. We have our Lord’s promise.

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. (Matthew 24: 35) 

The UFO phenomenon, in terms of mainstream thinking, is a late-comer to the accumulating end-of-the-age prophetic signals, even though it has long been at the heart of fictional and fanciful curiosity, particularly since the invention of radio.

Although a few films of the silent-movie era fed the fascination, it was H. G. Wells’ War of the Worlds play, presented on radio by Orson Welles in 1938, that really lit the imagination of Americans and subsequently the rest of mankind.

Perhaps you will indulge my longtime fascination with just how the entire matter of otherworldliness, in terms of outer space and beyond, might play into fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

We’ve gone into things concerning UFOs and other matters a number of times before. As some know, I’ve written two fictional accounts of what the 1947 Roswell UFO incident involved. My good friend Gary Ritter, a terrific novelist, and I, co-wrote a third novel about developments in extraterrestrial matters that have unfolded since. The series, titled The Second-Coming Chronicles, include The Rapture Dialogues; The Nephilim Imperatives; and The Minion Protocols.

It is true that many who want to know what God’s Word has to say about the wrap-up of human history look at fiction as not being important because it is…well…fiction. However, it’s appropriate to note that even Jesus used parables to frame truth. He and the prophets used stories to make points that were stunningly effective in making an impact on the listeners.

I refer, for example, to the prophet Nathan, who pointed his bony finger in King David’s face after the prophet told him about someone in the kingdom who had stolen a lamb from a poor man who had almost nothing. Remember what Nathan told the king after David had become furious and said he would deal harshly with the thief? He said: “You are that man.”

David’s great sin was, of course, committing adultery with Bathsheba, impregnating her, then sending for her husband from the battlefield to try to cover up his sin. David then, when Bathsheba’s husband refused to go to his wife because of his honor to not indulge in pleasure while his fellow soldiers were fighting, sent her husband to the front lines where he was almost certain to die—which he did.

So stories—fiction—can point to truth in a most effective way.

This is why we present these novels, including the fictional accounts of the UFO phenomena that point to a truth that is shaping for fulfilling a specific prophecy.

My post’s title, “WOE,” I hope will help make my point in regard to explaining the shaping-up for fulfillment that’s taking place as related to the UFO phenomenon that is suddenly front and center.

The acronym stands for “War on Earth-dwellers” and is based on the prophecy John was given when writing the Revelation. The first part of that prophecy states:

And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. (Revelation 12:7–10)

The next part is most terrifying for those left behind after the Rapture:

Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. (Revelation 12:12)  

Now, with the US government suddenly divulging that, yes, there is reason to believe some of the “Unidentified Aerial Phenomena” (UAPs, changed for their purposes from “Unidentified Flying Objects,” or UFOs) might be other than terrestrial in origin, it is more possible than ever to apply these signs in the heavens to future prophetic fulfillment. This possible application is something I and others have been suggesting for a number of years.

My own postulation, based on careful consideration of the follow-up chapter to chapter 12 and Satan’s being cast out of Heaven forever, is that when Lucifer’s defeated force begins the fall to earth, as John is told to write, the following prophecy will come into view:

And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. (Revelation 13:13–14)

The world, in other words, is perhaps being set up at this time—with the release of validation by governments that extraterrestrials likely exist—to have an explanation for the disappearance of millions. Part of the 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 delusion of earth-dwellers might allow people to be deceived into believing visitors from extraterrestrial worlds are coming to help Antichrist and the False Prophet fix things.

Of course, the operative acronym for what will in actuality be taking place will be WOE: “War on earth-dwellers.” It will indeed be “woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.”

We can, I suspect, anticipate seeing a substantial increase in reports of UAPs from the New World Order builders within the US government and beyond.
