The planet is apparently poised for war. If not nuclear war, certainly conventional war on a horrific scale that will soon engulf the world in the thermonuclear sort seems highly possible.

Economies on a global scale, according to a number of fiscal experts, are set to collapse into depression like has never been known. Micro-beasts, as my friend Chuck Missler used to call the microbial agents of pandemics and death, are about to be released either through accidental escape from laboratories or through deliberate actions of the diabolists of the world.

Governments of the Western world—through insane laws, technological surveillance, and militancy—are, in fact, on the verge of bringing about enslavement not unlike governments of George Orwell’s 1984 fictional world.

Experimentation on changing humanity into something akin to chimeras and/or human-machine cyber threatens the human race to go extinct as created. Children are being experimented on at many levels, from being inculcated on becoming transgender to surgical and hormonal bodily transformations that are a threat to future procreation.

The very name of Satan is now on the surface of the culture in America, with after-school Satan Clubs luring children of all ages to join in the activities.

Parents are smoking mad and spewing fire over a new student club at their local elementary school promoting Satan.

The “After School Satan Club” at Golden Hills Elementary School in Kern County has parents outraged.

“I think it’s disgusting, I understand the school has to allow them because they allow other after-school programs such as the good news, which is a Christian-based after-school program, that one I’m okay with, but I can’t imagine why anyone would want their child to attend this Satanic group,” said Sheila Knight, grandparent to a fifth grader at the school, tells local CBS affiliate KBAK.

The club must be allowed under the First Amendment to the United States Constitution, which prohibits government institutions from discriminating on the basis of religious beliefs. Courts have consistently upheld the right of Christian, Jewish, Islamic, atheist and even Satanic groups to meet in schools.

“There’s currently a Good News Club there which is teaching kids to go save souls for Jesus, at the school. We want to give an alternative point of view,” club leader Paul Hicks tells KBAK.

The Satan Clubs are as much as tongue-in-cheek, fad-like entertainment as serious worship of the devil in fact. This makes the Satan Club matter even more egregious, as it inculcates that Satan is just a myth and only to be spoofed. The young are therefore being deluded further into belief that as there is no devil, neither is there a God who governs.

All of this has invaded this earthly sphere at a stunning rate within recent months. It all means the Tribulation is about to begin. We must conclude that humankind’s last seven years before Christ’s return is about to be triggered.

Yet all that sin-heaviness hovers like that proverbial sword of Damocles we’ve mentioned a number of times. That sword remains suspended, although nothing seems to be holding it back from cleaving the thin veil separating rebellious people from the prophetically promised wrath and judgment from Heaven above.

Again, we find the cause of the sword’s suspension in midair as the wickedness grows by the hour.

And now ye know what withholdeth that he [Antichrist] might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he [God the Holy Spirit] who now letteth [Restrains] will let [Restrain], until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked [Antichrist] be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him [Antichrist], whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. (2 Thessalonians 2:6–10)

God the Holy Spirit, resident within each born-again believer in Jesus Christ for salvation, presently keeps the avalanche of this evil bursting fully down upon the planet. That avalanche of evil cannot and will not crash down upon all “earth dwellers” until it is triggered.

First, those who are not “earth dwellers,” but are “citizens of Heaven,” will be removed, thus will be safe from God’s wrath upon all rebellion against Him. When Christ calls to all believers—those who are “asleep” (have died) and those who are alive—the Holy Spirit within each believer will remove much of God’s influence against evil. He will no longer restrain wickedness.

Although it is not the ignition point of the great implosion of God’s judgment and wrath—that point will be the confirming of the covenant of Daniel 9:26–27—it will nonetheless be the trigger that sets off the complete avalanche of evil that will bring about the instrumentality that ignites man’s final seven years of rebellion. It will be the trigger to Tribulation and the rise of Antichrist’s most terrible time of terror.

That trigger, of course, will be the Rapture. It will be the “twinkling of an eye” moment that fulfills Jesus’ great promise to those who believe in Him for salvation.

Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. (Revelation 3:10)

The only way to be kept from that horrendous time when Antichrist wreaks terror and God’s wrath falls on sinful mankind, is to do the following as given by the Apostle Paul:

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation

Those in the know among former and active military cast wary eyes toward developments in the Oriental world. Every serious interview that comes forward these days brings the direst of thoughts from these experts who genuinely foresee war with China.

The dragon has awakened, and it is thirsty. This dragon is prophesied to be energized by another serpent, also called “the great red dragon,” “Satan,” and “the devil.” This energizing of China in the prophetic future by the ancient foe of God is found primarily in two places in the book of Revelation.

The first of the relevant passages is found in the 9th chapter: 

And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. (Revelation 9:13–16)

The apostle John, through words given him by God, expanded upon the prophecy in chapter 16:

And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. (Revelation 16:12–14)

The king of the kings of the east–unless something very dramatic happens to change the configuration of things east of the Euphrates, has to be China. It could, by itself, have manned a 200-million soldier army even as far back as the 1970s. Today, with the other nations of Asia and their massive populations, the 200 million figure presents no problem at all so far as potential for fulfillment of the prophecy is concerned. And, certainly, China exerts hegemony over all of the other nations of its oriental sphere. Many within secular news media are beginning to recognize the same things those who watch Bible prophecy and current events have been recognizing for some time. China indeed looks like a major influence on factors that might bring nations into a conflict the size and scope of Armageddon.

Each day brings news of China intruding into waters near Taiwan and flying over Taiwan’s airspace. The ongoing close encounters of US and Chinese warships in the South China seas bring disaster ever closer. The Chinese are declaring all of that water territory to be theirs, despite that maritime law and territorial statutes clearly demark waters that are open to all maritime ship movements. The Chinese government is obviously deliberately provoking many of these dangerous confrontations. Any one of the encounters can bring about an accidental incident that could initiate open warfare between the two nuclear giants.

The present American administration, like in so many other areas of its responsibility, seems clueless as to how to rein in the behemoth of Asia.

There is little doubt in my thinking that China will at some point recapture Taiwan (formerly Formosa). This is because all of the world’s powers of the Orient east of the Euphrates are called “the kings of the east.”

China, because of its ravenous ambitions to conquer, needs ever-increasing energy to fuel its voracious military and commercial lusts. They really don’t care about the general populations of their dictatorship. But they are, experts observe, intent on making deals with nations with oil resources through fiscal alternatives to the American petroleum dollar. Like the globalists of the World Economic Forum and all other New World Order sorts, China’s chief concentration these dangerous days is on bringing down the power and authority the United States maintains over economic matters such as world oil resources.

When Antichrist comes to power, the Bible foretells:

But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him; and he shall go forth with great fury to destroy and utterly to sweep away many. (Daniel 11:44) 

Increasingly, then, it looks like oil will bring all the nations into the valley of Jezreel for the showdown at Armageddon. It is as if sin, itself, which invaded humankind because of disobedience in the Garden of Eden, has to come to its full recompense at this future date of human destiny. The Fall caused all of the earth, particularly the area where the Garden of Eden was located, to begin a deadly degeneration for all plant and animal life. The second law of thermodynamics—entropy—dictates that all things continue to deteriorate. All physical matter is to turn to dust—or, apparently, to oil.

I don’t intend to get into controversy about what creates oil, but scientists believe the great oil deposits of the earth are where massive amounts of vegetable and animal matter have been buried, then compressed through eons to produce the fossil fuels we now burn in record amounts every year.

Now, the “dragon” of the Orient–China—is thirsty for its share of the black, incendiary liquid. And, its thirst is potentially beyond even that of the industrialized world of the West. There is a showdown coming, it looks like.

Sin has brought humankind to this point. It started in the region of Mesopotamia and the Euphrates River, where the Occidental world meets the Oriental. Prophecy says that demarcation line will be breached–supernaturally, I believe—with the drying-up of the Euphrates, so demon-possessed masses of military forces from the Orient can easily troop to the valley of Jehoshaphat for man’s final war before Christ’s triumphant return.

Those who “watch,” as commanded by the Lord Himself, should ask, at least to themselves: Has this generation reached the times totally saturated by evil as foretold by the Lord?

God gave the reason He “repented” that He had created man.

And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. (Genesis 6:5)

Jesus, building on the Heavenly Father’s condemnation for sin-immersed, rebellious humankind, prophesied the following.

So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (Matthew 24:33–39)

God the Son went on to further expound upon the results of evil at the end of the age and upon God’s condemnation through suddenly imposed punishment for humankind’s immersion in that unrepented-of wickedness.

Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. (Luke 17:28–30)  

In terms of an earthly courtroom, any heavenly prosecutor against sin and all its deadly carnage wreaked every day upon this fallen sphere could bring forth mounting evidence that would lock in an airtight case for the verdict: “Guilty.”

We who are charged with watching (Mark 13:37) are Heaven’s witnesses of nonstop anti-God activity. As presented many times, news of the horrendous deportment of “evil men and seducers” saturates our news sources.

As said, these few are taken from just one day of headlines. There are hundreds of reports of evil that could be gleaned in any given day that are even more egregious.

My own state, considered among the reddest of the red states in terms of Christian influence and political and ideological bent, was obviously chosen by the demonic powers that be as one place to, at the very end of this age, begin all-out invasion into America. The portals, as we have looked at many times, have been opened to the extent they’re allowed by God’s restraining influence.

In first mentioning the satanic temple Baphomet being placed some time ago in front of the Arkansas state Capitol in Little Rock, the writer presents thoughts about the evil that surely once must have begun invading the world leading to God’s sending the destructive Flood.

Pure and unspeakable evil has entered our country. And no wonder, it was invited. It can be petitioned by word or deed. But, in our case it was both. This brace of evil can be found not only here in the United States, but Canada and much of the Western World. And few people with any voice are talking about it.

Hollywood is often a mirror of society. Is that why we are seeing a rash of new releases concerning evil, and demons?

Some publications are saying that we should not complain about the decline in morality, but that a new morality is replacing the old one (ScienceDaily).

That means, to the mind of the Left, there are no absolutes, everything is relative and fluid. That is the atheistic mindset that has us in this mess of a freefall.

This is a well-planned destabilization initiated by Marxists generations ago. The statue depicted is a good representation of what we are seeing all over America…evil, malevolence, especially aimed at our children, our future.

It is no different than the Hebrews forging a golden calf in the desert. How many have seen photos of freakish drag queens with children on their laps telling them a story of God knows what? Or gender disorientation on beer cans? How confused is the management of such companies? The instruction in values taught in public schools is now opposite of the mass majority of parents. This generation is at the very least like in the Days of Noah and of Lot, it seems to me. –That’s because the technological means now exist to make worldwide evil interconnected as perhaps never before.

I say “perhaps” because wickedness flows from the father of lies and is spiritually engendered. Its spread is supernatural and infects with more virulence than any physical disease. So, although the antediluvians might not have had the technologies to use in making the evil interconnectedness, the demonic powers and principalities likely made the connections in their own deadly ways. Now, with the assistance of satellite, Internet and all the rest, the devil’s spreading infection work seems on steroids, as is said.

Reprobate minds seem to be “only on evil continually.”

But Jesus told us that it will be this way at the moment He next breaks into this world in what will be catastrophic for God-rejecting rebels of the earth. The same event will be glorious beyond description for all who know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

Here is how you can know Him as Lord and make sure you go to the safety of His loving arms when He calls in the Rapture.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9–10)

To observers of these times, while this generation nears midnight of this fleeting age, every second-hand tick of God’s prophetic watch gives warning. Recent ticks should alert every believer that time is running out—and catastrophic, heavenly intervention against the wickedness saturating the planet is imminent.

Tick… Deceivers seek to pull all of humanity from truth regarding the God of creation.

The drive is incessant to convince us that human beings aren’t the creation of a deity, but of a primordial accident. The specious science called evolution long ago imprinted in the minds of humankind that people have struggled up the chain of transition to become Homo sapiens. And the most recent outcome of that struggle is that the transition now means that women can choose to be men, and men can become women, merely by saying so.

As part of the ongoing transition that denies any involvement with deity, adults now can interact sexually with the youngest children. Parents, it is said, should stay out of the process of the transition taking place.

Homosexuality, like in the days of Lot in Sodom, is the overriding societal and cultural new normal that government should protect above all other considerations.

Tick… There is a stream of monetary greed and vicious militancy flowing just beneath the surface of the pseudo-peace politicians who govern around the world pretend to want to maintain.

Rumors of nuclear war inundate our eyes and ears from newsfeeds hourly. In the most dangerous areas, actual war is ratcheting up for breaking into nuclear conflict. Ukraine and all territories surrounding Israel could become kinetic fields of battle at any moment.

Tick… Religiously, the world is shaping up just as Jesus prophesied.

False prophets are arising, even among the supposedly most evangelical, fundamentalist ministries. Some teach that the Bible is no longer relevant—that times have changed its former relevance. The pope declares there is no literal Hell—that there is only Heaven, and it will be inhabited even by atheists. Even the dictator of Russia points out the apostasy and evil of religious leaders of the West. And his words are true.

Tick… Now the technology has made possible, according to anti-God scientists supposedly in the know, the total transition of humankind.

The melding of artificial intelligence (AI) with humans will increase humankind’s achievement capacity to godlike status. Further breakthroughs in the fields of computer and biological interactions promise that it is possible to eventually bring about something approaching eternal life.

Humans—at least those who fall victim to this line of belief—thus succumb to the serpent’s lie to Eve: “You will be as God.”

Tick… At this point, it looks as if Satan has brought to the cusp of implementation the system of control that God’s Word foretells in Revelation.

And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. (Revelation 13:16–18)

This particular Tick of the prophetic clock’s hand will, even secular observers point out, give evil would-be rulers the control they’ve long dreamed of. The following observation is one such instance:

Economist & Author William Michael Cunningham, Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University, points out what money is:

“The main economic attributes of a technically effective currency rests on three functions:

1. as a unit of account,

2. a store of value

3. and as a medium of exchange.

A unit of account is a common measure for the value for goods and services, the store of value is the way in which we store wealth in order to transfer purchasing power.

The “Transfer of Purchasing Power” is exchanging the Dollar from my hand to yours—one private transaction with another.

That is basic economics for us non-economists.

Why does America need “Social Control?”

Pay close attention.

Last year Joe Biden signed an executive order for digital money or the death knell for cash. It’s not surprising.

We know that Biden wants total control over Americans and their money.

For instance, back in October 2021, Biden asked Congress to authorize new bank surveillance measures of Americans to the IRS. He now has what he wanted all along. His $600 reporting to the IRS on digital transactions. (Paypal, Venmo, Zelle, etc.)

This executive order piggybacks off of Senator Sherrod Brown’s [D-OH] new pro-digital dollar draft. Senate Bill 3571 – Banking for All Act.

This is a blatant attempt to control every issue of your life, including your money.

But hey, who cares…

The World Economic Forum says, “You’ll Own Nothing, And You’ll Be Happy.” (“The Crackdown To End the Dollar Has Begun. Feds Launch Digital Money,” July 2023, One America News)

Digital monetary manipulation will give the devil’s man, Antichrist, control over earth’s population, or at least a large portion thereof. The alarm is set for midnight. The prophetic end-times clock now seems to be ticking toward that midnight hour in every sense.

That alarm, when it sounds, will be the voice of the Lord shouting: “Come up here!” (Revelation 4:2)

Radio talk show host Dan Bongino was telling his audience last Tuesday that the evil taking place has changed America—greatly diminished the nation’s greatness. He concluded that those of patriotic determination must resolve to fight with all political might to counter the wickedness.

Bongino said in effect that it isn’t any longer just disagreement within various governing issues, or even constitutional issues, that’s the problem—although those things concerning how to properly govern in a constitutional republic are critical. Those are important and must be vigorously defended against the progressive attempts to bring down our orderly and lawfully governed way of life.

He then played a clip of two women conversing on, I presume, a progressive podcast or broadcast program. Bongino said this is the kind of evil we as a nation are up against.

The women, obviously ultra-progressive, were talking about how the transsexual agenda is all-important and must win out over influences such as Christians and their challenges to true progress in the area of transsexuality and children.

The argument one of the women made was that those who oppose the sexual/gender changes taking place in regard to the trans movement say boys have penises and girls have vulvas, and that’s the way it is. They can’t change that as part of being born humans. The woman then said, “Why not? Why can’t people who sense or know they are other than what they were born with change if they want to change?”

In effect, she said it is each person’s right to choose which sex they want to be, and no one should be allowed to restrict that right.

This was serious-sounding discussion—grown women, very well spoken—declaring that individual human beings should choose the gender as their realization of which sex they are comes forth. They were talking about children as young as kindergartners.

Bongino then said, after playing the clip, that this sort of thing is what will destroy this nation; it is pure wickedness—evil—that is setting up to totally turn America into something other than what the country has been.

He said next that we have to fight this evil now. It has gone far beyond what formerly were merely issues of political importance. It is up to us—true patriots—to concentrate on dealing with—fighting with all we have—this demonic insanity.

Of course he is absolutely correct. It is insanity. It is the reprobate mindset of Romans 1:28. Things are not “normal.” Things we see now—every hour of every day—are more and more evil being unleashed through end-times portals into society and culture.

However, Bongino is dead wrong about how to fight it. The only armor with which to oppose this wickedness spawned by the devil and his minions (including his human minions) is to turn to the Lord Jesus Christ for heavenly assistance.

Again, Paul has told us the problem humanity faces. We see this in Scripture surrounding Ephesians 6:12.

Paul said evil men and seducers will grow worse and worse the closer the end of the age comes. Only the weapons God gives to believers can prevail against such wickedness. Things will eventuate, Jesus foretold, in conditions being just like they were in the days of Lot when He will next catastrophically intervene in the evil affairs of humankind. God’s judgment and wrath will then rain down on incorrigibly rebellious earth-dwellers.

This is why I no longer look to the political process to correct the nation’s course—to make America great. Do I mean I don’t vote any longer or do what I can to work within society to fight evil legislation and even illegal, anti-American activity? No. Of course not. But now I view all political action as all but totally useless in changing things for the better. The best such action can yield is that of helping delay the inevitable. The world and our beloved nation are headed for God’s judgment and His holy wrath.

This course of devolving into prophetic oblivion is inalterable from the standpoint of our politicians and their schemes being ineffective at best and destructive at worse. Now, with the very end of the Age of Grace (Church Age) directly in front of us on the prophetic horizon, it is time—individually, as God’s royal ambassadors—to put on that machinery of waging holy war.

And, lest we be accused of calling for physical, kinetic, violent warfare, I’m referring again to the weaponry issued by the armory of Heaven to each and every believer. Weaponry to fight a spiritual battle against the evil assaulting humanity each and every hour of each and every day…wickedness like we find within the conversation of the “progressive” women mentioned above.

But what can mere spiritual armor do to prevail against the mounting evil? God sometimes seems so far distant as we face these literal circumstances that assault.

It is a certainty that, the more the wicked one and his force ramps up the assaults, the Lord will provide his Church with the arsenal to oppose Satan and his minions.

Jesus said that the gates of Hell, the forces of evil, will not prevail against the Church. We are God’s force, indwelt by God the Holy Spirit. We will be used by the Lord of hosts to restrain this onset of evil until we are suddenly removed from the battlefield.

Here again is the arsenal each of us who name the name of Christ have been issued for battle until that marvelous moment of Rapture:

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. (Ephesians 6:13–18)

Words of prophecy spoken by Jesus have special significance. He is God, the Second Person of the Godhead who spoke all that is into existence. He is the power that holds together all that was created. For Him and by Him all things were made.

How can any mortal even begin to comprehend the infinite power that flung the stars against that black, velvet curtain that separates our earthly abode from the eternal realm of Christ’s majesty?

So when we consider the words spoken by Jesus, we must understand they’re not mere utterances. His words are so profound, so powerful, that they have meaning above and beyond all others.

This isn’t to say other prophets and their prophecies throughout the Bible are less than 100 percent the Word of God. I only mean that words spoken by Jesus Christ should be considered of elevated importance. For example, we should pay extra attention to His words of prophecy while we consider them in light of issues and events we see unfolding in these days.

I preface with these words because I believe we might be witnessing the particular manifestation of Christ’s foretelling in a very specific way.

The Lord’s words I’m writing about involve an area of prophecy we’ve looked at many times:

And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring. (Luke 21:25) 

Although we could point to tremendous signals involving the first two prophetic indicators Jesus gives here, the third sign is relevant for this exploration: “the seas and waves” will be “roaring.”

We begin by emphasizing that the number-one signal in all of Bible prophecy is front and center; Israel is the first and foremost matter to consider. God’s chosen nation is, as we say, God’s prophetic clock. That timepiece has never been more central to determining where this generation stands on God’s prophetic timeline than at this moment.

Thus, it is prudent to look at what’s happening at present in Israel. That is, it’s wise to think on the Jewish state in terms of “the seas and waves roaring” Jesus said will mark the end of the age.

Again, keep in mind our preface–that Jesus’ words are worthy of above-and-beyond consideration, because He is God. Therefore, I suggest we must think on Israel and its present turmoil in light of our Lord’s exhortation to “watch.” We should watch carefully the chaos being fomented by satanic forces through the powerful indicator given us by the greatest of all prophets. We should ask the question while watching developments whether “the seas and waves roaring” today in Israel have profound meaning for just how near we are to the Rapture of the Church and the unfolding of the Tribulation.

And in view of the most recent charges perpetrated against America’s former president, it becomes especially wise to consider whether this seas and waves roaring prophecy by the Lord speaks to obvious efforts by forces in this nation to foment civil war in their drive to bring the U.S. power and influence down. –Thus, so the new world order builders can move forward more swiftly in implementing their Luciferian blueprint.

Indeed, such dramatic civil unrest has been and continues to be reported around the globe –particularly withing western nations.

Many consider the “seas and waves roaring” to indicate the literal seas and waves—the physical creation—roaring, as in destructive weather events. However, those who look more deeply conclude that the phrase alludes to people being in uproar. In other words, the prophecy is saying “seas” of people will be in chaos.

Jesus’ words, therefore, speak of a specific time of powerful turmoil that is beyond the ordinary turbulence experienced throughout history. It is therefore not out of the realm of likelihood, in my view, that Jesus was here telling about a time of uproar not only involving people of the world in general, but more specifically of an uproar within God’s prophetic timepiece, Israel.

Israel is experiencing tremendous upheaval at the moment, as we learn from hourly reports coming across the spectrum of media. Here’s one example:

Hundreds of thousands of protestors took part in the 12th series of protest rallies on Saturday night, with around 200,000 protestors gathered in Tel Aviv closing roads, waving flags and carrying signs.

Protest leaders estimated that more than 630,000 people attended rallies across the country this Saturday.

During the main protest event, an announcement was made about Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, calling for a pause to the judicial reforms to allow for negotiations. As a member of the Likud party, Gallant’s call received mixed reactions, including support from four other Likud members and the opposition, while being criticized by key government figures.

While many protestors cheered the announcement, protest leader Shikma Bressler reacted by saying, “We demand that the entire legislative package be scrapped.”

After thousands streamed onto the Ayalon Highway, blocking it for hours, police used water cannons to disperse protestors from the highway, detaining about 30 individuals.

Several dozen counter protestors also turned out in Tel Aviv on Saturday night, many holding signs which read: “We are the majority, you are the minority.”

Hundreds of protestors blocked a main highway, Route 65, in northern Israel, with police detaining some individuals for disorderly conduct after they threw flares and blocked a busy junction. (“Hundreds of thousands of Israelis protest against governments judicial reforms in 12th week of rallies—Protests followed Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu to London,” All Israel News Staff, March 26, 2023)

A report from one Christian Jew, a top reporter with a Christian ministry and who lives in Israel, said he, for the first time ever, thought of leaving the nation because of the powerful forces at work. He instead is depending on the Lord’s direction and is staying.

Those powerful forces are the same that are fomenting chaos across the world. It shouldn’t surprise us that Satan is especially in the attack mode as his time is getting short to do his devilish work.

We can, I’m convicted, look for greatly ramped-up assaults by the Ephesians 6:12 minions against Israel. Look for the “seas and waves,” instigated by the likes of the globalists and other Luciferian forces, to grow into an ever-increasing “roar.”

This all means that Jesus, the greatest of all prophets and our Blessed Hope, is soon going to step onto the clouds of glory and shout: “Come up here!” (Revelation 4: 2).

Even so, come Lord Jesus.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis seems to be the lone politician/leader of significance who sees clearly through the smog and fog of deception in the issue of digital demonomics. He has called on the Florida legislature to prohibit federal digital impositions upon the citizens of his state.

“The Biden administration’s efforts to inject a Centralized Bank Digital Currency is about surveillance and control,” said Governor Ron DeSantis. He continued:

Today’s announcement will protect Florida consumers and businesses from the reckless adoption of a “centralized digital dollar” which will stifle innovation and promote government-sanctioned surveillance. Florida will not side with economic central planners; we will not adopt policies that threaten personal economic freedom and security.

The state’s chief financial officer, Jimmy Patronis, expanded on his governor’s assessment of the proposed digital dollar matters:

Governor DeSantis is ahead of the curve when it comes to protecting individual rights. A Central Bank Digital Currency is the cornerstone of a federal government that could track each and every transaction that happens in the world. There would be no privacy, and if there is no privacy, there are no rights. In the same way Florida is fighting back against the IRS, we need to fight back against this program. It’s how we protect freedom, liberty, and prosperity.

Some years ago, some top people of economic/financial acumen—such as G. Edward Griffin—were concerned, kind, and generous enough to condescend to my request (I am woefully inadequate to dealing with such stratospherics of thought) to contribute chapters to our book, Demonomics: Satan’s Economy and Your Future. I remain thankful to the Lord and grateful to each of those contributors.

These financial experts laid out the way things were trending that would lead to tyrannical control by the globalists elite. At the time of book’s release, things were well on the way to prove their predictions accurate, right down to the details of the coming transformation of America, the singular nation with the most profound influence on global monetary matters.

The one thing I might have somewhat contributed to the book (and I must give Todd Strandberg credit for the idea) was the title. The word “demonomics” accurately frames this world system of evil. The love of money is indeed the root of all kinds of demonically inspired evil.

In that book, I wrote:

Like it or not, believe it or not, you and I are being swept along by the tide of human history toward something profoundly ominous. Hourly news accounts, no matter how much they’ve been doctored to try to present a recovering national and global economic picture, engender fearful concerns about things to come…

History is replete with attempts to reshape national and even global economic realities. Money equals power and power exerts control upon this fallen planet. Power is the ultimate endgame of all who seek it for themselves.

Henry Kissinger put it this way: “Power is the ultimate aphrodisiac.”

The declaration can be understood in recalling the most ancient of accounts of an infamous personality seeking the greatest of all power:

“For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.” (Isaiah 14:13–14)

Man’s determination to do the same—acquire the power to which the angel named Lucifer aspired—hasn’t changed since the serpent first told Eve that she and Adam would be like God if they ate from the fruit of the forbidden tree (see Genesis 3:5). Following the serpent’s trail of power madness to a later time recorded in the Bible, Nimrod was the would-be one-world-order builder of his day, following the Great Flood of Noah’s time. He, like every megolomaniac since, lusted for God-like power.

Since the publishing of that book, we have watched the voracious appetites of those determined to be the neo-Tower of Babel builders.

Their blueprint to follow Satan’s prideful plunge into perdition says it all: Build back better!

The following is also from a chapter in Demonomics. I hope it describes why things have developed to this point in 2023 and how God will deal in restraint until His judgment and wrath must fall, as described in the “days of Lot” prophecy by the Lord Jesus recorded in Luke 17:28–30:

Such is the way of man, fallen since the moment of rebellion in the Garden of Eden. Humankind has been determined to do things that seem right in their own eyes. The sin-cursed mindset will continue until the catastrophic second when God must end the rebellion as He first had to do when He destroyed all but Noah and his family in the  world-wide Flood.

We are told this in the following prophecy given by the psalmist.

“Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

“The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

“Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

“Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.

“Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.” (Psalms 2:1–11)

History Repeating

The Psalms 2 prophecy is in full sail toward the point at which God will put an end to the power madness of His sin-sick creation called man. The God of Heaven will send the Son of Man—Jesus Christ—to intervene catastrophically in the insanity we are witnessing through today’s headlines.

Man’s lust for power continues to grow; he has not learned the lessons of the past because, as a whole, he regards the Word of God as irrelevant to the governance of the earth. One philosopher of renown [George Santayana] put it this way: “He who does not remember history is condemned to repeat it.”

The corruption that God saw and condemned in antediluvian times, which caused Him to destroy all upon the earth except eight people, has again reached a dangerous level. Dictators prove the truth of another bit of philosophical wisdom [by Lord Edward Acton]: “All power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.”

We have only to consider the dictators of most recent times to know that lust for power and love of money are locked together in the tyrannical determination to enslave people around the world…

Satan’s economy is being shaped before the eyes and ears of all who will pay attention. But, most of the world—even here in America where the free flow of information is unprecedented in history—is paying scant attention to the true nature of unfolding issues and events.

All is moving toward a predestined finale, according to God’s Word. The grand maestro orchestrating the end-of-days global economic order is none other than the serpent that started it all with his seduction of Eve as recorded in Genesis chapter 3…

Satan is working behind the scenes with supernatural cunning to create chaos within the economies of the world. His intention is to bring about panic at a level that will incite universal demand for new world financial order. That new economic global order can’t be achieved as long as sovereign national monetary systems exist.

Here is Satan’s endgame in a scriptural nutshell:

“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.” (Revelation 13:16–18)

Somehow, all nations—all peoples—must come under the 666 system of numbers and marks. This will happen because God’s Word says so. He cannot lie. It will be a totally different economic regime from any on earth today. But, one can sense that the instrumentalities already exist to implement and administrate such a regime. Satellites, computers, and electronic/biological chip devices come to mind, for starters.

The fiat money of the Antichrist will almost certainly be electronic in nature—an electronic funds transfer (EFT) system along the lines of the Special Drawing Rights (SDR) utilized in financial institution money exchanges today.

I personally believe it will be a hybrid Internet system in conjunction with EFT that will give Antichrist the tyrannical control after which Satan lusts. He wants to be worshiped; that is his endgame. He will force all within his reach to do so, and he will use control of economy to accomplish that.

Those who wield the power at the top of the present world economic system will never agree easily to give up their authority. Nations won’t voluntarily surrender governmental or monetary sovereignty. It will require a crisis of unprecedented magnitude to cause fear sufficient to convince the powers that be to bow the knee to the prophesied Beast described in Revelation 13. My own belief is that it will be the Rapture of the church that will provide that crisis.

Despite the obvious efforts to bring in Satan’s demonic plan through central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), God continues to restrain, as promised in 2 Thessalonians chapter 2. But the devil hasn’t relented in his determination to lift himself through his son of perdition, Antichrist, and cause all to worship through the 666 marks-and-numbers system of Revelation 13:16–18.

You don’t want to be here when the Church is called into Heaven and the worst times in human history begin to unfold on earth for those left behind.

Here is how to make sure you will be instantaneously safely in the loving presence of Jesus when He says “Come up here!”:

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9–10)

My attention is incessantly drawn to the increasing wickedness that, within just the past few years, seems to have invaded our reality. By this, I mean that nothing now seems to be as near to “normal” as things were, say, in 2020.

My own human thoughts interject that it’s because my 97-year-old mom died early that year. Her passing made everything darker from losing the Lord’s brightness within her that illuminated my path. She gave me my Scripture for life, written in the front leaf of the Bible she gave me when I was very young:

Trust in the lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths. (Proverbs 3:5–6)    

Forgetting for a brief time to use that biblical flashlight Mom had handed me as a youngster, during the natural mourning process when she passed away, things did look not to be as life had been before.

But that other light within (the Holy Spirit, not my human thoughts) soon turned on within my consideration the Proverbs 3: 5–6 truth—the light Kathleen James-Basse left behind in February, 2020, when Heaven became a brighter abode than ever.

So, it isn’t anything personal affecting my life that gives this world a sense of increased strangeness and malevolence. There is most definitely a supernatural aura about life today that wasn’t there before–and it’s not from the good side of that other dimension.

My attention is incessantly drawn to the increasing wickedness that seems to have within just the past few years invaded our reality, because the Holy Spirit prompts my spirit that there is indeed an invasion taking place. The other dimension this invasion is coming from is what I call “pre-Trib portals.”

I use this term because the demonic activity that God’s Word says will prevail during the Tribulation (the last seven years leading to Christ’s return) seems to already be seeping, maybe even flooding, into our reality even now. Therefore, there is a pre-Trib intrusion into our time before the Rapture of the Church. This, I’m convicted, is all in preparation for the Antichrist regime of horror Jesus said will be the worst period of human history (Matthew 24:21). Satan is trying to set the stage upon which his son of perdition will step when believers are taken off the earth and the “covenant with many” of Daniel chapter 9 is confirmed by “the prince that shall come.”

In America, this preparation has been taking place for many decades. I believe it began in earnest shortly after the twentieth century began. It has accelerated swiftly and is now at full throttle.

My friend Michael Hile, in an article, presented a record of this invasion through the pre-Trib portals. When the nation, through court action, began removing God and His righteous principles for life from the national conscience, the vacuum created a supernatural opening for the invading forces from the dark side. Here’s what Michael wrote:

My sense of discerning the invasion we face at this late prophetic hour tells me that the evil being directed toward children is perhaps the most significant manifestation of what is pouring through the pre-Trib portals. It is concentrated wickedness, and even parents of the children seem to have lost spiritual immunity to Satan’s deadly venom.

Proof that America has reached the reprobate mindset of Romans 1: 28 is clearly shown, I think, through the opinion on children rendered by the top leader in America—the leadership position once considered the highest in the free world:

Monday’s segment of Comedy Central’s The Daily Show, President Joe Biden spoke with gay man and former White House staff member in the Obama era, Kal Penn, where he admitted that he thought restricting kids from getting their private parts mutilated was “sinful.”…

“Transgender kids is a really harder thing,” he began. “What’s going on in Florida is, as my mother would say, close to sinful. I mean it’s terrible what they’re doing.”

In Florida, Governor Ron DeSantis is spearheading laws that would prohibit kids from receiving dangerous surgeries and drugs to change their gender. DeSantis recognizes that there are two genders and that children are not mature enough to make such life altering decisions. While his laws are evidence of him looking out for children’s best interests, the left is twisting it into an anti-LGBTQ campaign by the Republican Governor…

Regardless, Biden insisted that he was looking to pass legislation that would allow transgender youth to harm their bodies and added, “You mess with that, you’re breaking the law, and you’re gonna be held accountable.”

It really is a shame that Biden is using his platform and position of power to facilitate such a grave evil in this nation. Kids need to be protected, not infected by the disease of the woke left. With such upside-down declaration, can there be any doubt that the pre-Trib portals are as wide open as America’s southern borders?

In thinking on the topics about which I write, I’m blessed to have close friends of spiritually infused intellect and insight who sometimes help inspire commentaries. We speak on the phone occasionally throughout any given week about various topics of possible Bible prophecy import. Thus it was in conversation this week when such a friend presented a fascinating matter that spawned the title you see above.

My friend of many years is clued in to many things going on within cutting-edge technologies. As a matter of fact, he works closely within some of these technological stratospherics as consultant during various phases of development. At least that’s the take from my perspective. He tells no more than he can divulge in order to remain faithful to confidentiality.

So, it is with great interest that I pay attention when he brings forth information of an unusual sort. I listen carefully when I sense he wants me to consider those insider developments in writing these articles meant to look into what’s going on while we obviously are closing in on the very end of the age.

When we discuss things along these lines—well, when I mostly listen, because my thinking process can’t always quite engage due to complexity involved—my friend usually prefaces his comments with: “I don’t quite know what to do with this.” He then says something like: “But isn’t that interesting?”

It usually most certainly at the very least interesting. More like somewhat mystifying and, on occasion, stupefying.

The past week or so this friend wanted to give me a heads-up on something that had come to his attention that he thought I would find fascinating. He said his information came to him from a familiar intel channel/forum. It is obviously one he holds in high regard.

The intel involves something called The Lazarus Project.

My friend said someone, under the cloak of anonymity, posted, in part, the following on February 23, 2023.

I’m a Meta insider working on Project Lazarus. We’re building an AI that can take over a deceased persons social media accounts and continue making relevant posts as if that person is still alive. This includes age progressed photos, interacting with other people’s content and everything else needed so that person continues on in the digital realm after physical death. We were originally told this would be a service offered to people struggling with the loss of loved ones and people who had missing children. Seemed like a decent idea. Things are getting weird now and I’m having second thoughts about what this is actually going to be used for. The AI is extremely capable of impersonating people. It doesn’t take as much initial input as one might think to train the AI how a certain person interacts with the digital world. It’s very convincing. An entire island of people could go missing and with little to no downtime the AI could take over all of their social media and the world wouldn’t have a clue that life wasn’t just continuing as usual. A lot of the project is becoming more compartmentalized. Things have taken a dark turn it feels like. They’ve forbidden communication between people working on different things. Something isn’t right and I don’t know what I should do. I’m not going to post any personally identifiable information but I will try to answer questions that won’t expose my role within the project…

The AI came up with stuff that ranged from absolutely hilarious to completely horrifying. I guess that’s pretty accurate for the human experience. That’s more along the lines of a traditional bot but it goes to a much deeper level than a bot just reposting the current talking point. It’s when we have it live data on real individuals that things truly took off. It’s astoundingly accurate with reproducing real individuals”

Now my sensitivity meter is the first to start squawking when so-called reports come across cyberspace that seem bogus and or contrived in any way. If it were not my friend of many years, who interacts within circles to which most of us haven’t entry, I might easily dismiss this insider’s concern as just another fictional creation. However, my friend doesn’t waste his time or mine with fiction. As a matter of fact, I doubt he has read any part of even one of my own novels. So I feel my thinking along these lines is worthwhile for us to consider.

My friend acknowledges that anything coming across even closely guarded, private communications can be of false origin. It has been my experience and observation through these many years, however, that his sense of what has credence and what doesn’t is exquisitely keen. Here are some of his thoughts about this Lazarus Project matter:

1) The project has a biblically significant name: Lazarus; (2) Lazarus is said to be very good at impersonating people; (3) Lazarus is supposed to be strong enough to pass the Turing Test; (4) Meta is developing Lazarus to mimic the missing, dead, or otherwise unavailable; and (5) Meta is developing Lazarus under extreme secrecy (small, compartmentalized teams under NDA).

Regarding his reference to the Turing test, a mathematician/cryptographer/pioneering computer scientist by the name of Alan Turing developed in 1950 what he called “the imitation game,” but what is now better known as the Turing test.  It is a widely accepted test of the power of AI.  The Turing test involves two human beings and a machine (computer) having AI.  One human being serves as an interrogator.  While the other human being and the machine are located out of the interrogator’s sight, the interrogator is tasked with interacting with the other human being and the machine and discerning from those interactions which is the machine and which is the human being.  The machine passes the test if the human is unable to discern between the two.  A machine passing the test is known as a “Turing machine.”  Passing the Turing test does not mean that the machine is as intelligent as the human being, only that the machine appears in that interaction to be as intelligent as the human being.  The Turing test is not the only test of AI, but it is by far the best-known.

Even were the posts false, Lazarus is plausible.  First, Mark Zuckerberg has publicly announced that Meta will focus on major AI development.  Second, Facebook’s user base has been seriously eroding, meaning that Facebook is in desperate need of content to retain and encourage its remaining users; AI is well-suited to generate this content.  Third, with the World Economic Forum and World Health Organization working hard to create and conceal mass casualties, simulating an enduring social media presence by the departed would help.  Fourth, the powers-that-be would be strongly motivated to conceal an act of God that resulted in the sudden disappearance of many millions of people.

From this, I gather that the purpose of Lazarus is to cover the mass disappearance or death of people due to one or a very few major events.  It may not be able perfectly to conceal the absence of people, but it probably can conceal their absence for a short time and should at least create confusion and doubt and provide the basis of an official narrative that the event or events did not occur.  It’s intriguing and plausible.

My friend and I frequently discuss the rapid development across the spectrum of stage-setting for prophetic fulfillment. Spectacular progress in artificial intelligence add to stage-setting, not only for the fulfillment of prophecy about the coming Tribulation, but also about stage-setting for the narratives that will be floated when millions of people vanish from the nation and world. In that light, the Lazarus Project is indeed most interesting, as my friend would have it.

Dr. Dave Breese was my personal friend, but he was much more than that to the believers who were blessed to be beneficiaries of his monumental spiritual and intellectual dissection of God’s Holy Word. In his scholarship and understanding of biblical prophecy–particularly from the pre-Trib, premillennial view, he had no superiors and few peers.

He was on-air host of The King Is Coming television ministry viewed weekly throughout the US and abroad. You may remember that, until his recent death, Dr. Ed Hindson was Dave’s successor to that program. Both were great servants of God, and I’m thankful to have had them in my life as mentors and friends.

Here we continue with Dr. Breese’s answers to the many questions on the Rapture he received throughout his many years of ministry.

Questions and Answers about the Rapture

Why is the Rapture not mentioned in the Old Testament? The prophets of the Old Testament were not given the revelation of the Church, the Body of Christ. Neither were they told of the Rapture of the Church. This is particularly a New Testament revelation. The Scripture speaks of the message of salvation by grace, given to the Church to preach to the world, and testifies of the concern of the prophets. It says,

Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when he testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into (1 Pet.1:10-12).

So, the Church and its message was a mystery in the Old Testament. Paul says,

For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, If you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward, How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery, (as I wrote afore in few words, Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel (Eph. 3:1-6).

Does Israel then have a different calling and destiny from that of the Church? The Scripture teaches that Israel is the heir of the world (Rom. 4:13). But it teaches that the Church is the heir of the universe. “All things” are the inheritance of the Christian, of the Church (1 Cor.3:21-23).

If the Kingdom is now, why the Rapture? Why can’t the Church just grow and take over everything? There are various kinds of “kingdom now” teachings in the world. The fact, however, is that the Kingdom was rejected by Israel and will not be instituted in the world until Christ comes in power and great glory. The Kingdom in its external form is not promised to the world in our time. In this day and age, God represents Himself in this world via the unseen body of Christ and through the seen, observable lives of individual believers. The program of God becomes “visible” in Christians who testify for the Lord Jesus and live holy lives before the watching world. The Kingdom, by the way, will not “grow in the world,” but it will come suddenly, imposed upon the world by its King, the Lord Jesus Christ. [Read Dan 2:44-45]

Where does the Rapture fit into the “big picture” of history? The Rapture ends the day of grace and begins the day of the Lord, which begins with the Tribulation. It will end a day of grace, the time of divine forbearance, and begin a time called the day of the Lord, in which God is at liberty to work with His promised program of judgment upon the world.

The Glory to Come

Let each of us be finally reminded that the story of the future is not simply that of one day after another ad infinitum. No indeed! There is a glorious future for the Church, and there is a dismal future for the world. The sojourn of the Church in this world will come to an instantaneous end, at which time every believer will be taken from this dark planet to the glory which is to come.

At the moment of that transition, each of us will receive a new body, a glorified body that is not unlike the body of Christ himself. We will at this point be given the capacity to feel, to appreciate, to enjoy all of the unspeakably wonderful things that will be ours in eternity. The Scripture says, “In thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand are pleasures for evermore” (Ps. 16:11).

So great will be the delights of heaven that they are impossible to describe under the constraints, the limitations of human language. It may, therefore, be well to exercise a sanctified imagination, to ask the question, “What will it be like when Jesus comes?” The answer, of course, is that it will be like nothing we can imagine in all of life. There is no human experience that resembles in any but the palest fashion the ecstasy that will be ours when we step across the great divide into the fadeless light of heaven.

What is heaven like? The answer must be that heaven is not exactly like anything that we know in this world. We do well to take the greatest joys of earth and multiply them by a thousand times. Only then do we have even the beginning of the joys that will be ours in heaven.

The Christian is invited to use his “sanctified imagination” to think of golden streets, ivory palaces, a city where there is no night, and endless “pleasure forever more.” In heaven also, we will have the opportunity to meet the saints who have gone before and, of course, loved ones who have in earlier days moved from the Church militant to the Church triumphant. How wonderful to contemplate that golden moment when the Church will be translated from this world to the world to come. What a moment that will be!

The real point is that we be prepared for that moment. The preparation is that we must be Christians. A Christian is one who believes the gospel of Jesus Christ, who has accepted the Son of the living God as personal Saviour. Because of the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the sufficient sacrifice for sin, each person in all of the world is invited to receive the free gift, the gift of God, which is everlasting life. The single requirement is faith alone. By believing in Jesus Christ – who He was and what He did for man on the cross – by that act of faith I receive the gift of God, which is life eternal.

Meanwhile, in these days, let us gather together at the cross, recognizing Jesus Christ as the Saviour whose sacrifice made eternal life possible. While laboring for Him here, let us also anticipate the sound of the trumpet when we will be caught up to be with Him.
