Pakistan Ministry Mission Matching Funds Announcement

I am thankful and so pleased to announce that we have received a donation offer that will greatly help in this effort to fund printing and distribution of my books in Pakistan.

A most generous brother in Christ has offered up to $7,500 in matching funds for donations we receive.

In other words, for each donation you send, he will match with an equal amount up to $7,500.

Pakistan Ministry Mission Appeal From Terry James

To my Rapture Ready and ProphecyLine family: I again solicit your support in spreading God’s Word in Pakistan.

Your generosity in past Missionary efforts has just been wonderful beyond measure. I again prayerfully ask that you open your Spiritual Heart in helping fund the distribution of the books I have given to our Pastor in Pakistan to use while he preaches and teaches about our Lord Jesus Christ.

Pastor Anil Jasper translated my little book “Prophecy Power: Strength From God To Face Your Future”.

He has now also translated into the Urdu language my small book: “HeavenVision: Glimpses Into Glory”.

This is the book of testimony to my Widow Maker heart attack on Good Friday of April 22, 2011. In this book, I tell of my being somewhere in the Heavenly Sphere each time my heart stopped. The voluminous medical documentation of that medical emergency shows why my survival was so unusual that the cardio logical association gave me the Cardio logical Patient of the Year Award and asked me to speak to their convention.

Of course, at the heart of this Testimony is the Salvation Message that Jesus Alone can Save the soul from an eternity apart from God the Father.

The first book Pastor Anil translated then distributed and continues to distribute to the people of his country, Prophecy Power: Strength From God To Face Your Future, remains great Witness of Christ’s Saving Power.

HeavenVision: Glimpses Into Glory will now add a second Witnessing Tool that will Help Pastor Anil Win souls for God’s Eternal Family.

I have gotten special permission from my publishers to volunteer these books in this ministry. I receive no compensation in royalty whatsoever from their distribution in Pakistan.

Your donations are essential to carry out this all-important Mission. I believe that your contributions will result in great Heavenly Rewards some Eternal Day when we all come before our Lord at the Judgment Seat of Christ.

Terry James note: My friend Constance Wyler promotes the preTrib view of the Rapture of all believers through her excellent novels. I very much endorse her spread of God’s Truth through her superb work in fiction, just as my great friend Tim LaHaye and his co-writer Jerry Jenkins did with their Left Behind series of novels.

I therefore urge you to get the materials and use this format –Truth through story telling—to convince the lost why now is the time for Salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ.

The most terrible time in human history awaits, according to the Lord Jesus (Matthew 24: 21(. Let us spread Word of  His Work on the cross as a way to escape coming Judgment and Wrath.

Yes, the Rapture (or when Jesus comes in the clouds and calls us believers to Him) could happen any minute, even as you’re reading this!

Call to Prayer!

Although I have no inside information, of course, I feel impressed tonight to appeal to all of you to join me in continual prayer for Israel and the Israel Defense Forces as they fight on to wind down and win the Hamas War in the Gaza Strip.

Reports are that 20 live hostages remain, nearing two years in captivity. I don’t operate on emotion, but it feels like a hostage rescue attempt might be in the offing. If it is, and is implemented, the IDF will need a miraculous intervention by the Lord to be successful. The Hamas devils have orders to kill the hostages if the Israelis get close.

Most Merciful Father, who watches over His People, reveal your power and majesty and give your warriors favor as they engage the satanic forces that have the hostages in their grip. Go before the IDF, clearing the way. Confuse the enemy. Allow your magnificent soldiers, an ember of sacred fire, to confound the enemy and save the hostages and return them home to their families. We ask this of you, Father, our True Protector and the Author and Finisher of our Faith. Amen!

Dear Rapture Ready family, my translated Sunday School-size book “Prophecy Power: Strength From God To Face Your Future,” has been reprinted in Pakistan, thanks to a generous donation by a friend of the RR ministry. Just as we are so grateful to each of you who have contributed in past efforts, we are most grateful to him, and thankful to our Lord for that funding so the book can go forth with God’s word to those so in need in that sin-darkened area of the world.

The Pakistani minister who translated my book into his native language must travel far and wide –and at great personal risk due to the hatred of Christianity, as you know.

There is a great need for travel and other expenses in the preaching, teaching and distribution of this book.

The pastor reports much positive response to the efforts, as the people are hungry for good news. And the Gospel is the Ultimate Good News!

Israel Adventure Study Tour

Dear World of the Bible Ministry supporters,

FLIGHTS are still available and our next adventure study Tour of Israel is still scheduled for April 26th-May 8th (w/optional Jordan extension afterwards to May 12th)! We are looking forward to a great time as we experience the rich biblical history and spiritual connections we have as believers to this Land chosen by God.

With the change in administrations in the USA, it is looking like things are going to calm down sooner rather than later. We anticipate that by the April tour that more northern tourist sites will have opened up for our tour.

We are also proceeding with the Jordan Extension (Jerash, Amman and the Copper Scrolls, Mt Nebo, Machaerus, Sodom, down to Petra, and then over to Eilat after the end of the Israel tour.  We really hope more people sign up for the Jordan extension because for the SAME airfare cost to get you to Israel and a good land price you get 6 more days of unique biblical touring! This is usually a once in a lifetime trip so get the most out of your airfare cost by extending for the Jordan experience!

Everyone is booking their own refundable flights for complete flexibility given the circumstances.  We will give you details about personal flight booking and timing when you register for the tour.  United has opened up direct flights again so these are now available!!! There are still plenty of good options with United and American that are one stops in Europe as well.

Two days after his 95th birthday, on Monday, November 25, the Lord called Harold Lee Lindsey home. The prolific author and beloved “grandfather” of the modern Bible Prophecy movement leaves a loving family and a gargantuan fan base—although he would encourage us by pointing to Jesus Christ rather than himself.

Born in Houston, Texas, weeks after the Stock Market Crash of 1929, Lindsey earned a Master of Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary, and later worked with Campus Crusade for Christ in Southern California for about a decade before authoring one of the biggest-selling books of the 20th century, The Late Great Planet Earth. Written in the immediate aftermath of the Six Day War, the book electrified the country and led to many people studying eschatology. It has sold more than 35 million copies worldwide and has been translated into 50 languages.

No one could have anticipated such a sales tsunami, but the landmark title set the stage for increased evangelism and millions of people eagerly awaiting the Rapture. Lindsey went on to host the International Intelligence Briefing and the Hal Lindsey Report for years.

After decades of pushback from mostly mainline Bible scholars, Dispensationalism made a roaring comeback in the United States, propelled most by Lindsey’s influence. Scores of testimonies buttress the view that Hal Lindsey’s emphasis on evangelism and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is the real point of studying prophecy.

Lindsey’s influence also extended to a flood of Christian tour groups to Israel. Interest in the Jewish state, in the light of prophecy fulfilled as the Jewish state began to repopulate the ancient homeland, swelled to unprecedented levels. As he wrote:

“The State of Israel may seem normal. But it’s not. It is no more normal than the restoration of a withered hand or the parting of a vast sea. Israel is not normal. Israel is a miracle!”

“Prophecy authenticates the message,” he liked to say.

Lindsey gave his personal testimony at a prophecy conference in 2013. He said that after a riverboat accident, he picked up a Bible and began to read. The book of Acts particularly caught his attention and he yearned for fellowship with believers. He was invited to a gathering at Rice University in the 1950s.

“There are turning points in every life and you are blessed if you don’t miss them,” he said.

After the Rice event—which, incredibly, dealt with Bible prophecy—Lindsey went back home and began studying his “copious” notes, along with his Bible.

“I stayed up all night. Being a draftsman, I drew a map and looked at the power blocs [in the international community]. I became consumed studying prophecy.” He said that after work each day, he’d go home and study the Bible for up to eight hours. His eyes were then opened to the great battle between good and evil. Lindsey saw that Marxism was becoming popular at Berkeley by 1960, when he started with Campus Crusade for Christ. His passion for the remainder of his life was evangelizing the lost.

This week, he heard the sublime words, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”
