Assembling for the Appearance

While we await final election results, there is, according to emails, an emotional rollercoaster among many. The ups and downs can be traumatizing.

If it were possible for the Lord to become weary of hearing prayers about this election, imploring that He intervene in the way His people desire, He would say “Enough!” Of course, our Heavenly Father not only doesn’t say that, but He invites us to pray even more.

As we’ve said before, during these tumultuous months and years, God has held back the evil that is striving with all the might the “wickedness in high places” of Ephesians 6: 12 can muster. And now that evil, which has failed to accomplish significant gains in the battle to bring the nation into the globalist configuration it demands, seems to be on the verge of achieving its minions’ goal. Election 2020 seems to indicate that those powers and principalities have found the lawless formula for being victorious.

We’ve looked at how the Restrainer, the Holy Spirit that lives within each believer, has kept this president from being removed at every turn of the torturous political screws by those who hate him. Yet, at this moment, which is a snapshot of the election process, we fear that the minions have found ways, through computer manipulation and outright fraudulent ballot counting to remove him from the office in which the Lord of Heaven placed him. (God raises up kings and He removes them, the Scripture says.)

We consider how millions of prayers go up constantly, requesting that the Lord turn this supposed defeat through fraud around. Our Heavenly Father has told us that if we humble ourselves, pray, turn from our wicked ways, and seek His Face, He will hear from Heaven, forgive our sin, and heal our land.

We’ve been promised in His Word that He will continue to restrain until He is taken out of the way. That won’t happen until Antichrist comes on the scene (is revealed).

We know, through careful scriptural analysis, that while the Church is still on earth, the wickedness in high places cannot prevail. Jesus said that Satan will not overcome the Church. The Church is indwelt by God the Holy Spirit—the One restraining the evil that is ravenously trying to break loose from its chains and bring in Antichrist’s regime for the last seven years of human history leading up to Christ’s Second Advent.

So, while we are concerned about what we face in this election evil, we nonetheless can see a brilliant light streaming through the gloominess of the storm clouds. God is still in control, and prayer changes things. Part of that stream of light is manifesting more and more as I observe the various alternative media—that is, media that is alternative to the mainstream sources.

I’m hearing more and more voices invoking the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

One example that profoundly stimulated my assurance that God is in control and is powerfully influencing things just behind all that’s going on happened Thursday, December 3.

I was listening to the last couple of minutes of the Rush Limbaugh program. Rush’s guest host while he was off recuperating from cancer treatment, Todd Herman, was signing off. As he closed the program, he said something to the effect that we must offer up prayers. Specifically, he said that we must ask the Holy Spirit to give wisdom and influence all in authority who are involved in the election matter. We must, he indicated, ask God for His intervention by praying and seeking His direction and help.

It was a tremendous reminder to millions of listeners that it is God who has the answers to this and all troubles in the world. I could only say in a whisper, while shouting in my spirit, “Amen!

This is happening in ever-increasing numbers, as alternate media types seem to grasp where true answers to what America faces reside. Perhaps this election evil is allowed by the Lord—for certainly He knew all about it from eternity past—in order to bring His people, called by His Name, together in prayer and recognition of His love and power.

In this sense, I take a bit of scriptural liberty in believing that God’s forces—His people—are not “forsaking assembling themselves together as they see that day approaching”—the day when Christ will rule and reign on planet earth (Hebrews 10: 25).

  1. Ed Wood says:

During Noah’s age, society had become so corrupt that it was past redemption. In Lot’s time, the same could be said of the region where Sodom and Gomorrah existed. Comes a time when God decides it’s time to take away is own while taking out the civilizations which have rejected him.

In these two examples, the judgment was immediate. In the time to come, it’ll take seven years. The evidence is that God will likewise remove from harm’s way those remnant individuals who have refused to follow the majority in their rebellion against him. Only then will the Tribulation and its ensuing judgments descend upon the earth.

Yet, despite those increasingly terrible times, some will come to know God and accept him even though it will make them a target from the Antichrist’s fascist and demonic government. Many, perhaps most, will face death, however, their souls will find salvation in heaven, where the Raptured saints will have already gone bodily before.

Now if the results of America’s stolen election stand as they are, then I believe it means that the Rapture will occur very, very soon. If not, there may be another lmited grace period for America and the rest of the world by extension.

What we already know is that God is in control, either way this turns out.

    Keep looking up!

Having read Leo Hohmann’s very depressing, but truthful blog, it was good to read this. Thank you Terry everything is now back in its right perspective. May God continue to bless you with wisdom and compassion as you seek to serve Him.

  3. Carol Pence says:

Thank you SO MUCH for your encouragement and continual reminders of who we belong to – who is in control. It is so easy to let sadness overwhelm me. But then I turn to Jesus – He is the light. Thank you Terry for all you do to keep His word alive

WEF/UN/EU/Pope/MSM/Big Tech Tyrants — all are saying the same thing, suppressing the same Truth and converging into the same agenda: transhumanist OWG/Great Reset. It’s the new and ultimate Axis of Evil. With China.‬ We’re being suppressed day by day. BUT JESUS is at hand any moment now.

  5. A Clark says:

I don’t pray for some sort of political outcome. Only God sees everything and accomplishes his own purpose in accordance with his plan. I pray for his will to be done and for the salvation of souls. Who am I to pretend to understand what environment is right for revival to come. If you pray for revival then be willing to accept the conditions needed to make it happen as the lord wills, whatever that may be. I think many in the church just want more of our own status quo which has been less than effective. We have to be ready for the possibility of persecution and hopefully a great gathering of souls before the rapture but everybody seems to either want Trump back in office or the rapture. Where is the passion for the lost?

    • Julia Pomeroy says:

Who said anything about Revival, there is no Revival coming, what is coming is judgment and guess where He starts – His house that’s where! America like all the western nations at least is way too steeped in sin, including alleged Christians to even begin to expect anything else. Just think about the sixty plus million babies which have been slaughtered in the most abominable way possible, sacrificed to the god of convenience who used to be known as Baal or Molech!

      • A Clark says:

Well, I said something about revival. But I understand. I was hoping and praying for it as are many others.

I figured since believers are still here then perhaps God has something for us? After all it is our mission…yeah? Revival as in an opening of hearts to the gospel? Souls won for the Lord? I hope so.

      • Julia Pomeroy says:

What is the point of praying for something which you must know, surely, is against the will of God, it will not change His mind you know. America as with most western nations due to its debauchery, the sacrificing of babies to the god of convenience is only due one thing – God’s judgment, it has reached the point that were revival to come God would have to apologise to Sodom and Gomorrah!
There is a great deal of difference between telling people on a one to one basis about Jesus and having a revival which will affect many people all at once.
My husband and I are missionaries so we do know the odd thing about leading souls to the glorious One Who has paid the price for their sins on a one on one basis and preaching from a platform.

      • A Clark says:

Understood Julia. Wow. What a great thing to be in missionary service to the Lord. I’m sure you have some amazing stories. Blessings!

    • Ed Wood says:

Persecution, as you correctly point out, is part of the cost of belief, something that began even when Jesus walked among us 2000 years ago. This will only get worse. As for revival, well, I don’t think that will happen because we have many End Times passages such as this:

1 Timothy {4:1} Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter
times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; {4:2} Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron.

2 Timothy {3:12} Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. {3:13} But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

In my view, America, as an entity, is not going to be saved, not matter who is in office. I suppose that could be said for the whole planet.

A further piece of evidence is found in what Jesus said what the last days church would look like this:

Revelation {3:15} I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot:
I would thou wert cold or hot. {3:16} So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. {3:17} Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked.

Seems to me that the only “revival” that Earth will see will be the post-Rapture one that embraces a one-world religion which will eventually be turned to worshipping the Antichrist (the “he” below is the false prophet):

Revelation: {13:15} And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

Terry, I’m loving your latest book! Todd Herman has been a bright light to us in the Pacific Northwest. I am so incredibly thankful for the work you both do!

  7. billyswinea3737 says:

BROTHER TERRY CAN I GET A KINDEL OF YOUR NEW BOOK? I AM NEARLY BLIND AND CAN’T READ THE PRINTED WORD VERY WELL. I CAN MAKE THE WORDS BIG ON MY KINDEL. THANK YOU AND MANY BLESSINGS FROM OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST! BILLY
