Many of those quotes sound great, but have you read all of the scriptures about our Earth and compared them with the geocentric/flat view of the world (under a firmament) as the Hebrews knew the world to be? As far NASA having satanic ties, let’s not forget that powerful reading of the astronauts from Genesis as Apollo 8 circled the moon back during Christmas Eve in 1968. If anything, seeing our blue, life-bearing world – the only one we know exists out of a universe of uncountable billions of stars – from such a great distance is powerful evidence that none of this could possibly have been an accident, as far as I’m concerned.

Water does not stick to a bowling ball, or stay on a spinning tennis ball. A feather is not drawn to an anvil. How does a cloud or hot air balloon just sit there in the sky if the world is a ball spinning a thousand miles per hour? Open your eyes and heart to believe God’s Word over the lies of man.

I am very happy to review evidence. I crave and seek truth. Why would you pre-suppose that I would reject your evidence? Question is are you willing to review and consider overwhelming evidence supporting that the Earth is as God describes throughout scripture?…and that NASA is satanic and liars? I do get it…I too thought that the Earth was a ball up until this year because that is what I was taught my whole life and what is portrayed in Hollywood movies, etc (along with evilution). We don’t like to think we have been duped…But Satan is a deceiver and he has corrupted so many institutions (education, health care, govt) and it is tough to see through the lies. But I believe God is the source of knowledge and wisdom and He is waking people up to the Truth in this dispensation and end times.
From your comments, Joe, I think my assumption that you would be adverse to scientific evidence wasn’t really out of line, but my apologies if that premise is incorrect. That being said, I’ll address some of the points you made, bearing in mind that I’m not here to change your mind, but to present another viewpoint on this subject so those who visit here can make up their own minds. I do want everyone to know up front that I am NOT a scientist or mathematician, just an interested layman. I welcome the opinions of anyone who does have such a background to comment and correct me where I may be mistaken.

Not so. Any object with mass produces gravity. The more the mass, the greater the gravity. A feather is not only be drawn to an anvil but the anvil to a feather based on their combined masses and proximity. This would be evident outside the hugely stronger gravitational field we experience on a planetary surface, such Earth’s. It also explains how and why orbits work not only locally but across the cosmos.

Spin on any object produces an outward force based on inertia, which causes things to travel in a straight line or else stay at rest. It is often called “centrifugal force” but that isn’t really correct. I suppose one could call it a “centrifugal effect,” if one wishes. If this outward force exceeds the adhesion or gravitational attraction of something on the surface of a spinning object, it’ll get launched off of that surface. If you spin it fast enough, the whole thing will come apart.

This is because the balloon or cloud is moving at virtually the same velocity as the air around it and surface below, excluding its own relatively tiny speed with respect to the ground or air. Same thing happens when you’re in a car. If you travel in a straight line, even if you’re traveling at 60 miles per hour, everything in the passenger compartment is pretty much at zero velocity from the point of view of the car’s occupants. Unless, of course, you toss something from the front to the back, at which point it’ll travel at slightly less velocity than 60 miles per hour, but I think you get the idea. From an outside viewer, the car and everything in it is traveling at 60 miles an hour, except for the object you tossed into the back which would be a little bit slower.

I do believe what you are sharing is consistent with what we are taught in school, etc.
Density and buoyancy can be demonstrated everywhere, but not gravity. A dandelion seed floats in the light breeze because the force of the breeze is greater than the difference in density between the seed and the air…otherwise it drops. It is not sucked to the earth by a super strong gravitational force…so strong that it can hold all oceans in place (without big wobble) while the Earth spins violently at a thousand miles per hour. An anvil floats in mercury because it is less dense.
On clouds, balloons, etc…your note assumes that earth is all in a container. This apparent container has to be so strong that it holds in the atmosphere in the midst of a vacuum, but weak enough to let a spaceship fly through? I generally agree with your comments on centrifugal force…that water and things should be flying out if we are really spinning at 1000 mph.
Odd to think that the magical gravity would have same effect on mass at ground level as a jet at 40k ft, but then have no effect on astronauts when they supposedly leave the atmosphere. Yet the same magic also holds things in orbit…so not just pulls.
Again, the greatest proof is God’s Word…and His Word does not describe a spinning ball in space, but rather a fixed earth on pillars under a firmament with waters above and below. We can still use our own eyes (no visible spinning, no curvature, no feeling of motion) and view proofs from others. Last of all, we should just take the words of men that have ties to Satan (seriously, search NASA lies, and Satanic NASA).

Regarding Earth’s gravity, it is actually a tiny bit less on that jet at 40K feet up because it is a bit farther away from the Earth. Really would be hard to measure the difference. Though gravity is enough to hold onto our atmosphere and everything on the surface, it isn’t so strong as to cause everything to collapse in on itself, but this happens to the extreme with black holes. Less so with neutron stars where the g-force is intense enough to squish just about everything into neutrons.
Earth’s 1000 mile an hour rotation, which really isn’t violent, but constant, as measured at the equator is considerably less than the 17, 500 mile per hour velocity necessary to launch stuff on the surface into orbit and, naturally, less than the 25,000 mile an hour escape velocity which would eject them completely away from the planet into space. You might think of gravity as the “container” which holds everything down here together.
As for object in orbit, the reason things inside it are virtually weightless (not counting the tiny local gravity fields of the masses within) is that the outward force created by the circular orbital motion balances out the inward force that Earth’s gravity is exerting upon it. This balancing act of the outward force from the motion verses gravity is also what keeps the moon from falling into the earth, the earth and planets into the sun, etc.
In the case of the jet, since its motion is so much less than what is required for orbital speed or escape velocity, the outward force of its motion is so small compared to gravity’s pull that gravity wins this contest.
As to what our own senses tell us, we are subject to their limitations. We can’t “see” a warm object radiating in the infra-red part of the spectrum. We can’t “hear” the electromagnetic transmission of a TV or radio station. Nevertheless, I think there’s enough evidence that these things are real enough.
Now the Bible really doesn’t address these things because it is primarily a historical and prophetic book. The truths it contains are more to show us the “real deal” when it comes to God and his messages to us. Part of it is direct history, part of it poetical, and much of its prophetic aspects are rich in symbolism. All of it is divinely inspired, as far as I’m concerned. However, I don’t look for it to be a science textbook because that is not its purpose. The path to salvation certainly doesn’t require someone to know the details of celestial mechanics or any technological field and I figure that’s the primary reason the Bible exists in the first place – so we see the path home and decide if we want to take it.
I don’t believe science has all the answers and I don’t make it my “god” as the pure scientist would. If I did, I would never believe in all the Biblical accounts of miracles, Jesus rising from the dead after three days being the most “impossible” of them all, based on what science tells us. But I accept them as facts even though I don’t understand how they can happen because I believe the Bible is 100% reliable al the same

Sure there are parables and analogies in scripture, but to not take the Word at His word, but rather consider it poetry is dangerous. When God says that the Earth is fixed over and over and over, can we instead believe He meant spinning at 1000 mph, revolving at 66,600 mph, whipping around the Milky Way at 448k mph, and racing from big bang explosion at 1.4 million mph? All that motion, but all stars still circle Polaris same as they have for thousands of years.

You presented some interesting information. I could debate it some more, but it’s pretty clear that neither one of us will be convinced by the other’s arguments. We could probably go on spinning our respective wheels indefinitely with no resolution.
I do hope others who might read this exchange will think about these things and arrive at their on conclusions.
