Can there be any doubt? In every direction we look, Romans 1:28 projects from our TV screens and computer monitors. The proof of reprobate, aberrant thinking reddens the horizon with warnings of dangerous times ahead.
Anti-God forces have put the planet’s populations in a position that, like in the time of the antediluvian world of rebels, God’s wrath and judgment must again fall. This article will, I hope, point to several examples that typify the reprobate mindset and show how far into upside-down thinking those, particularly within leadership positions, have descended.
Being several months older than the current US president, it gives me no pleasure to point out what everyone knows but few amongst the media and elective government will verbalize. Joe Biden is in obvious cognitive decline. His leadership as a US senator and ice president has been the topic of concern for many years, but lately the mental decline is manifest anytime he is off the prompter. He answers practically no questions from the press assigned specifically to solicit answers that inform the American public.
A mainstream news media with a collective ideology that views America’s founding as being wickedly flawed–even evil from inception—covers up the president’s refusal and/or inability to cogently frame thoughts that American presidents have always been demanded to verbalize. I offer as evidence, for those old enough to remember, the way the wolves of the mainstream media tore at Vice President Dan Quayle for simply misspelling “potato.” This president makes gaffe after gaffe constantly without a word from the sycophantic press. They consistently prevaricate in their “reporting” in order to make the anti-America-as-founded charges, apparently wanting to move this nation as far ideologically left as most of Europe now is—or even farther left politically.
The most recent cover-up situation by what used to be referred to as “the fourth estate” involves Biden’s apparent business partner, China. The balloon sent from that Far-Eastern enemy of the United States floated across the Pacific Ocean, the largest body of water on the planet, then traversed the entire nation at 60,000 feet before finally being shot down in US waters less than 12 miles off our East Coast.
The balloon was technologically directed by China, according to some in the know. It did not just drift accidentally into American air space. The Biden administration allowed the invasion of territory some 60,000 feet above the nation. The excuse so far offered for not shooting it down is a fear that the heavy parts would crash to earth, endangering the American people.
The balloon first attracted public controversy Wednesday as it hovered near multiple military sites in Montana. China has insisted that the balloon was a civilian airship that went off course.
A report on Bloomberg said that U.S. officials were aware of the balloon back on Jan. 28, when it first entered American airspace over the Aleutian Islands. The balloon then drifted into Canada before returning over Idaho on Tuesday…
Despite downing the balloon on Saturday, the Biden administration took withering criticism from E. Casey Wardynski, a former assistant secretary of the Army for Manpower and Reserve Affairs in the Trump administration, according to Fox News…
Wardynski said the lack of action that took place as the balloon drifted across America amounted to” an excuse to do nothing, which is the kind of government we’ve got—a do-nothing government.”
He noted that the balloon was treated differently than almost any other aircraft.
“It’s our airspace. They [China] would’ve shot this thing down long ago if it was an American aircraft,” he said.
The Biden administration’s blustering “feeds into the overall picture of the Defense Department, which is that it’s a crowd that can’t shoot straight,” he said. (“Breaking Update: Chinese Spy Balloon Shot Down,” Jack Davis, Patriot Update, February 4, 2023)
More troubling than not being able to “shoot straight” is the fact that the administration no longer seems able to “think straight.” It seems the “reprobate mind” infects Washington, DC.
And it infects governments of lesser status as well. Minnesota state government manifests the Romans 1:28 malady, too, it is more than obvious:
Democrats [who hold a 34–33 majority in the state senate and a 70–64 advantage in the state house] in Minnesota banned coal, oil and gas after passing historic legislation in the state House of Representatives on Thursday…
And the legislation will cause electricity prices to skyrocket.
This comes at the same time that Joe Biden banned mining in the Iron Range, a Democrat-dominant working-class area in north-eastern Minnesota.
The new energy infrastructure in Minnesota will ban mining here at home as Biden struck a deal with African nations who use child labor and China where they use slave labor.
All in the name of climate change – the new religion of the left…
This is an unrealistic timeline that could endanger the lives of Minnesotans if it fails while causing their electricity bills to skyrocket, Republicans argued throughout the night.
They unsuccessfully offered several amendments to the bill, including lifting the state’s moratorium on new nuclear power plants, allowing for the use of carbon sequestration technologies, and delaying the standard to consider its impact on child and slave labor in the green energy supply chain.
“Frankly, what this bill will be doing today is making Minnesota reliant on nations around the globe that have no labor standards and no environmental standards. Minnesota in this bill will build a clean grid economy on the backs of child slaves in China and poor environmental regulations in Indonesia and the Congo,” Rep. Spencer Igo, R-Wabana Township, said at a press conference ahead of the debate.
He said the resources to build a clean energy future are right in Minnesota’s backyard, yet the federal government has now banned mining on 250,000 acres of the Iron Range.
“The third-largest deposits of copper, nickel and cobalt that exist in the known world are only 250 miles north of this Capitol. Instead of investing in those resources … we have decided to export it around the world where carbon emissions will be 20, 25, or 30 times higher than if we were to do it here in Minnesota,” he continued. Minnesota, one of the very coldest states of the Union, has as its elected leadership a majority that insists on doing away with affordable ways to keep warm. Reprobate minds, to be sure…
I tend to agree with the assessment that says blame for this and most other craziness shouldn’t be placed on this cognitively dysfunctional president. These things are being perpetrated and/or allowed—certainly directed—by the globalists. Mr. Biden is but a useful tool in the hands of those such as Klaus Schwab, George Soros, and others, it seems to me.
This upside-down non-reasoning all means that Christ’s Rapture call to believers in this anti-God age so near the Tribulation can’t be far distant. Christ’s promised return to end the madness is a bright beam of hope piercing the darkening horizon.

“Look up…your redemption draws nigh”, Jesus said! When I heard about these balloon(s), it occurred to me what if this is exactly when people will be looking to–the sky to track these things. Maybe we see more of these in the coming weeks or months. And if we do, would this not give people an anticipatory feeling of something about to happen–just saying! What did Jesus emphasize the most when speaking of the end-times? He said do not be deceived–what we’re seeing today is a total deception from the Covid vaccine to the save our planet ideology espoused by so-called experts. What goes hand-in-hand with this deception–lies from the father of lies Satan himself.
Regarding Biden he is, if nothing else, besides what Terry reminded us here, too old to hold elected office. His administration knows it too or why else would they try and shield him from anything that may tend to expose this gaffe whenever he speaks with reporters.

I was impressed by the connection you made with Jesus’ “looking up” statement with these balloons. Maybe they are indeed the beginning of even more things showing up in the sky. I t would not surprise me at all if such things appear more often and end up being even more profound and perplexing as time passes.
You are right about Joe Biden. I wonder why his wife, who surely must know how impaired Joe was way before him running for office let him do it. Or could she be either that self-deluded not to notice. Or maybe it is personal power-trip for her. I’m pretty sure the Democrats were well aware of his infirmity beforehand and put him in as a puppet for the radical Left. But even they realize he is now a liability.

Tonight the news reported Washington was having to deny reports about possible extra-terrestrials associated with these sightings. And that made me think about what I’ve heard suggesting this will be the excuse given from authorities for the disappearance of millions suddenly. Your suggestion of a possible link being made between these things in the sky and the Rapture, especially if they are tied to something “otherworldly,” though I’d prefer what Terry says about them actually being “other-dimensional” in the sense that they are from the spiritual realm and are some kind of demonic deceptions.
Along these lines, it wouldn’t surprise me if the Antichrist tells people he is an extraterrestrial – human hybrid (sounds just like a nephilim, doesn’t it?). This would really make the Trib time parallel that of Noah even moreso when these kinds of beings were roaming the earth. He might even claim that he and his alien kindred removed all the “troublemakers,” i.e. true Christians, to cleanse the planet.
Based on how people are swallowing up deception today, they will be even more gullible once the restraining power of the holy Spirit departs with us believers.
I think it won’t be long before we see EXACTLY what heaven is like, having been taken up to live there forever.

Yeah, it’s an old cliche’ : “The inmates are running the asylum.” Well, now we are living in a huge one and it has branch offices just about every country which is part of Western Civilization.
Disconnecting from God is like running an auto without a functioning alternator. At first, it seems okay, but then the lights begin to fade and finally there isn’t enough juice in the battery to keep the engine running.
Looks to me like this is just about where Planet Earth is now, and certainly its true for America and the impaired people leading it – right into the ground.

So, yeah, I live in Minnesota. I am in such a funk right now. My friends, too. There’s just a heaviness here. The failed Governor and other leadership here has made MN a huge embarrassment. And, yes, add to that What Biden just did. And don’t forget the VP and her coddling the riots by antifa and BLM during 2020. I’ve wanted to move and can’t. I’m so frustrated and down. And I’m just physically and mentally tired. I have to redirect my thoughts on how I can make a difference since this is where I have to be for now. It’s hard some days. Winter does not help. I also thought how the balloons were directing our eyes upward. I also wonder what is next. I feel like people don’t know what to do about anything, so they just keep doing their norm. I pray for the Holy Spirit to cover this land. To open hearts for a longing for Jesus. Especially in those who have MN leadership. I really wish an “Asbury” event would happen at a Mn university. Yeah, I’m often “down” about the way things are here, but I take solace in that I think all the signs show that we are “short-timers.” That upward call could come at any time now. I live in “indigo blue” Connecticut and if you are a conservative, you have ZERO representation in government either on the state or federal level.
As I see it, the U.S. is done. Whether the last election was on the level or not (guess which scenario I think is the case), Joe and the Wokesters ended up running things – say, that sounds the name of a band, doesn’t it? Well, I sure don’t like the tunes these guys are playing.
The truth is that Earth is NOT our home, as the writer of Hebrews attests when referring to former giants of the faith:
Hebrews {11:13} These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of [them,] and embraced [them,] and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. {11:14} For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. {11:15} And truly, if they had been mindful of that [country] from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. {11:16} But now they desire a better [country,] that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
So, take heart, Lisa. We are just passing through this existence. Best we can do is to get out the word of our faith whenever we can and not let evil go unopposed, even if we think it isn’t making any difference – because you never know if your message is heard by someone you may never meet in this world, but who might just acknowledge what you did when you meet him or her in heaven.

I am 40 years working for the Air Force. Never thought I’d see the day when the most capable fighter aircraft in the world would be popping balloons with a $400,000 air to air missile. The once formidable military is now a woke, godless, laughing stock.
Incidentally, much of our ammunition stores are depleted due to the support of the war in Europe. The news makes that observation about the Russians but rarely about our own military. We have also been selling of oil strategic reserve which was not meant for sale at the pumps or for China but for our military in times of war. The military strategy has always been to be able to engage in two major conflicts. I don’t see how we can do that.
With depleted ammunition, woke training instead of combat readiness, an inability to meet recruitment goals and no gas to fuel our airplanes we are vulnerable.
Worse part is that Joe and the Wokesters and an apathetic public don’t care that everything you said is true – in fact, I have no doubt they are glad of it because it plays right into the hand of Klaus Schwab and his globalist allies.
Well, it won’t be too long that they get their wish but we will thankfully be gone before they do.

I think it is too early to decide if this is a “real deal” or not. Jesus told us we would recognize people, and I think this applies to events as well, by the fruits (Matthew 7:15-20) they produce, something which we know in nature takes time.
I suppose my natural tendency is to be skeptical because in this age of great deception it is hard, especially initially, to sort the wheat from the chaff.
I think the best advice for us at this point is what John said here:
1 John {4:1} Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. {4:2} Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: {4:3} And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that [spirit] of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Back in my Episcopalian days we had a very charismatic bishop who ended up ushering in the “doctrines of devils” into our diocese from which those of us who stood by the Bible became very unwelcome. Yet it took many years before this wolf shed his sheep’s clothing.
We’ve actually been warned about such people:
2 Corinthians {11:14} And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. {11:15} Therefore [it is] no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
I think we will also gain insight by seeing who endorses this event as time goes on. Will it be those who hold to the authority of the Bible or will it be the “revisionists” who play Bible Grab Bag, picking and choosing only those things that suit them as much of the mainstream church denominations now do.

Even if this is a genuine revival, I think it will be limited. I don’t think it’ll lead to a turning around of the United States. Sadly, I just think it is too late as evidenced in the last election which did not result in a major change in the country’s leadership, despite rampant inflation, crime increases, porous borders, moral decay, the stealing of our liberty during the so-called pandemic, corruption of the school systems, and all its other ills.

What is so interesting about those passages is verse 14 in particular because it puts a basic requirement that a government must follow to be worthy of submission – punish evil, reward the righteous. I’d say that the present course of ours in the U.S. is leading it into a totally opposite direction. The promotion of such evil as abortion, transgenderism, and homosexual behavior is clear evidence of this very thing.
When a government rejects God and his principles, it is trying to usurp his rightful place and authority – a clear violation of the First Commandment. As such, it is my personal belief that we have the obligation not to assent to rules or laws which violate the Higher Law of God. This very principle is the basis for the Nuremberg Trials which justified its actions in punishing the Nazis. The excuse that they were “just following orders” was therefore not an acceptable defense.
