Book review by Terry James

Anyone who’s heard Dr. David Reagan speak on Bible prophecy understands when I say he has very few peers and no superiors in the ability to hold one’s attention. The same can be said about reading this great teacher’s writings on biblical eschatology.

His scholarship is deeper than most any other of his fellow contemporaries, but sprinkled with humorous inflections that light up the attention as few others can. Whenever Dave Reagan’s name appears on a list of speakers, you can bet that immediate and greatly increased interest is engendered in getting to that conference.

It is my blessing and great privilege to know this man of God as long-time personal friend. So it is with great enthusiasm that I commend his latest work and recommend it to you. This is a volume from which you will gain much new understanding of the big picture presented by Bible prophecy in these times so near the end of the Church Age.

Most Christians seem to be aware of only one end-time war—the Battle of Armageddon. Many students of Bible prophecy seem to be aware of only two end-times wars—Armageddon and the war of Gog and Magog. But there are actually eight or nine end-time wars, depending on whether Psalm 83 is considered one of them. And the Battle of Armageddon is a battle in name only. Dr. Reagan’s book, The 9 Wars of the End Times, provides an overview of all nine of the end-time wars and how they relate to each other.

Again, if you are hungry to learn more about where exactly this generation stands on God’s prophetic timeline, and why and how we have arrived at this moment in history so near the Rapture of the Church, this is a book that will help you immensely in your quest.

Tragically, this is not on Kindle and the arthritis I am subjected to means I find holding a book difficult and painful, also living somewhere in Europe it means it will cost me an arm and a leg to even lay my hands on the book. A friend of mine sent me a birthday gift of “The Poetical Works of Frances Ridley Havergal” but it is enormous so I can only read it on the table in the office!
