My friend J. D. Farag presented an intriguing message in the video he titled “The Last Hour.” He listed the reasons he believes this generation has entered the final hour before God begins to judge, as foretold about the Tribulation (Daniel’s seventieth week).
He gave the following reasons:
- Advanced technology
- Man’s survivability
- Deception spiritually
Regarding technology, he indicated that Daniel 12:4 is in view. Knowledge is increasing exponentially; in fact, it has advanced to the point that it likely can advance no farther without surpassing what he believes God’s prophetic Word has given—that is, will allow—mankind to endure during the last seven years before Christ’s Second Advent.
Take AI (artificial intelligence), for example. Even those responsible for producing it are expressing fear that it is becoming increasingly dangerous. Humankind, they fear, is about to lose control over our own existence and destiny.
Additionally, the 9/11 attacks and aftermath have ratcheted up the movement into humanity’s enslavement through technological developments created under the Patriot Act and other surveillance and control methodologies. Add to these developments the vaccine mandates spinning from the supposed COVID-19 pandemic, and the observer of Bible prophecy from the pre-Trib, premillennial view can’t do anything but believe this is the final hour of the dispensation of grace.
With respect to Farag’s second indicator of this being the final hour—man’s survivability—Satan’s obvious hatred of God’s creation is front and center. The Luciferian plan is to, as said about that roaring lion he’s likened to, enslave, then destroy as much of humanity as possible. Farag believes the vaccine and its deleterious effects on the health of mankind are included in the devilish blueprint. Also, things going on in working toward poisoning the air and water of the planet, he believes, are being employed by Satan’s henchmen forces.
I, too, believe the pandemic was introduced by other dimensional forces to hasten the Antichrist’s regime development. The Great Reset is a big part of this blueprint, in my view.
- D.’s third indicator of this being the last hour of the Church Age is the spiritual deception that has overwhelmed us in recent days. He says 2 Thessalonians 2:9–12 is at play in these closing days of the age. He says we are in a generation that delights in wickedness. Delusion and deception have been supernaturally imposed in the sense Jesus foretold while answering the disciples’ questions during the Olivet Discourse. Deception and deceivers, the Lord foretold, are the first sign of the last of the last days.
Farag said the Antichrist spirit prevalent in the world, and even to an extent in the Church, shows dramatically that the Antichrist is alive today and already behind the scenes. He believes this could be the main determining factor in this being the last hour.
I agree with my good friend’s assessment, with the possible exception of this present time being the “last hour.” I’m convinced this is rather the “last minute” of this age when the Rapture will indeed bring a Reset to planet Earth.
And I view the things he mentions, while accurate and even insightful, a bit different from my own view of the most important signal that we’re in the final minute, even perhaps in the final seconds, of this age.
This is based, as I’ve have pointed to for weeks, on the most profound prophecy given by the Lord Jesus.
Society and culture, particularly in this nation, reflect in mirror-like clarity the days of Lot in Sodom. I believe His Word on how things will be cannot be topped. He has the final word for the final minutes of this age.
I listen to the radio show host Chris Plante some mornings and he sometimes says that everyone is asking: “What is happening, and why is it happening so fast?” By that he means the insane coarsening of the culture that’s happening at a frantic pace. No one seems to understand any of it.
Jesus, of course, understood. All we have to do is consider His most profound prophecy to understand what is happening and why it is happening so fast.
We are in the time—the final minute or even seconds—of the period just before the Rapture of the Church when Jesus intervenes into the wickedness of humankind. We are in the time like it was in Sodom and Gomorrah.
This is discernable by those who understand, from Christ’s Words, what is happening in the area of homosexuality and all sorts of such aberrant activity going on all around us. Particularly, the Satanic assault on the youngest of children and even babies in the womb reveals the concentration of destructive hatred for humanity the minions of Ephesians 6:12 harbor and are working feverishly to carry out.
I thought to insert a news excerpt here in this commentary about all the LGBTQ+ craziness being perpetrated, or the transgender madness going on. But it isn’t necessary. You and I are confronted with it every moment of our day in these times. The stories of the insane assaults on our society and culture are with us constantly.
We are in the midst of Gay Pride Month. Need more be said? Thereby we know Jesus must be about to hear the Father say: “ENOUGH! Go get my children.”
Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. It does seem a lot of things are coming together. AI, a broad turning from the faith, genetic engineering, the return of paganism, etc. not to mention all the other birth pangs signs. Can’t be long now.
There was a story recently about AI and robotics achieving the singularity by 2025. That year keeps coming up over and over again.

2025 does indeed seem to be the year something dramatic will happen. I am, by no means, date setting when it comes to the Rapture, but as much as we have seem a convergence of signs in the past few years, it seems they are warp-driving now, focusing in on that particular year.
I really think our departure could be exceedingly soon and it may not even wait another year and a half before it happens.
Is Iran’s latest hyper-sonic missile enough for Israel to launch an attack? An Israeli expert is impressed with Iran’s new technology, but feels these missiles could be knocked from the sky given the multiple back-up defense systems Israel currently has. Iron Dome, David’s Sling, Arrow defenses 2 & 3, and #4 to be deployed soon. I believe an attack by Israel against key military sites in Iran will trigger some kind of response from Russia. I also believe this will bring Turkey closer to the foretold alliance despite seemingly recent closer ties between Israel & Turkey. It will eventually-post rapture-begin an invasion from the Gog-magog coalition.In turn, this will start the Ezekiel 38 war leading to its ultimate destruction sometime in 1st half of the Tribulation I believe during which time a 3rd Temple will have already been built or nearing completion. A recent article in WIN says a response by Israel to this missile Iran showed off seems inevitable, perhaps soon–days, weeks, months? So is the Rapture soon-days, weeks, months–maybe, we can’t be certain! I started listening to Pastor JD Farag in 2016, a week after they moved into their new sanctuary building. I haven’t missed a Prophecy Update since, and I know his heart is getting Jesus to as many people.asap.
Hi. I have thought of the approaching tribulation as being black. There’s no light on this event. It’s as if it is on the opposite side of the wall near you, only that wall is only used cardboard an eighth of an inch thick. It is about to crash through any second. There is one light, and that is the pretribulation rapture. It is our “blessed hope” in hopeless times.
It is not for nothing that many Bible prophecy experts say that Israel is God’s hour hand, Jerusalem His minute hand and the Temple Mount His second hand for telling us how close we are to the end, and that is where we should be focused. The destruction of America will not, necessarily, bring the Rapture or the following Tribulation, it is what happens with regard to Israel which is the most important matter.

Could be the Rapture is what finishes off America, rather than the opposite. The only thing keeping us from sinking into the mire is that there are enough Christians left to slow down its descent!
You are totally right that it is Israel, not any other nation, that is God’s prophetic timepiece!
This country doesn’t need to worry of a foreign enemy. It’s killing itself fine from the inside out. They say it isn’t mentioned in scripture either and my pastor mentioned it’s either too weak to fight or it gets totally destroyed by an enemy and becomes under its ruler.
I forgot to add we have been watching JD for well over a decade now and his major focus has always been Israel, in fact you could say we have watched him losing his hair!!!
Let’s look at an interesting numeric pattern regarding Israel. If you take 2520, a significant number for a few reasons, and convert that to solar years, you get approx 2484. Stay with me.
If you take 587bc (fall of ancient jewish kingdom) and add 2484 what do you get? 1897ad. Did anything significant happen that year? Yes.
Coincidence right?
If you take 536bc and add 2484 you get no other than 1948ad.
If you now go to 517bc and add 2484 we come to 1967ad. CANNOT BE COINCIDENCE!
Now if you take the last decree of 445bc and add 2484 you come to 2039ad. I’m no date setter but considering the signs all around us this kinda makes sense. I’m not saying jesus can’t come earlier but I think there may be an ultimate fulfillment of the decree of artaxerses to restore jerusalem near this date.
One thing we must not overlook is the Holy Spirit impressing upon his astute church time is short. I think there is more at work here them just christians looking at signs of the times. From a purely technological standpoint and a societal depravity standpoint this could go on for decades imo. We as the astute church can almost sense this is not the case though. My gut feeling is that we live on borrowed time.
