The Theft of God’s Rainbow

by Jan Markell

Believe me, I would much rather write about the Lord’s soon return than gay pride—or rather, gay depravity. God introduced the rainbow in Genesis 9. It was a part of a promise He made. A whole twisted movement hijacked it.

In America, the month of June is set aside to celebrate the gay lifestyle. But let’s be honest: the Western culture demands the near-constant celebration of homosexuality every day and every month of every year. Throw in the now celebrated trans agenda, and the culture decline is astounding. We are racing backwards to the days of Noah. Trans nudity was even celebrated on the White House lawn this week and may have trampled all hopes for a turn-around in America.

What Must God Think of “Queer All Year”?

But June of 2023 saw dozens of major retailers betraying conservative and Christian customers as they catered to this cultural collapse. “Queer all year” was the theme of retail America. Target lost billions in sales due to boycotts and others followed in lock step, more committed to an agenda than to corporate profits. We would eventually learn these retail outfits would be subsidized by globalist schemers.

Here is just a sampling of items offered to eager customers:

  • Homosexual and trans clothing for three-month- olds
  • Cookie rainbow houses for small children
  • Pet gear, pet toys, pet treats in rainbow colors
  • Pet chew toys that are guaranteed to turn a dog or cat gay
  • Rainbow jewelry in 14k gold
  • Pride-themed eyewear
  • Multi-colored pride cake mixes
  • Baby “always-proud” bibs
  • Special pride boxes of Pop-Tarts targeting youth on Instagram

Jesus Had Grace But Spoke Truth

Our Romans 1 culture celebrates this and as Christians, we must respond with grace, love, and kindness to every person trapped in the deadly blindness of the LGBTQ lifestyle. But, many once-solid churches and denominations are going along to get along and will not speak out about the biblical warnings. Jesus represented grace and truth.

There is no way to be kind and gracious while refusing to tell people the truth that the way of sin is the way of death (Luke 13:5). The path of sexual immorality that our culture insists is so wonderful, is actually a path to destruction.

God’s Throne and a Rainbow!

John sees a glorious throne of God surrounded by a rainbow (Revelation 4:3). That reminds us that the rainbow belongs to God, not a sinful sexual culture. God is so committed to the salvation of lost men and women that you can’t even gaze at His throne without seeing a shining symbol of redemption—the rainbow.

God, who created the rainbow and is, at this moment surrounded by one, will bring his people into a perfect and sinless world surrounded with glory, wonder, and rainbows. The rainbow is God’s. He is going to take it back. The truth is, he really never lost it. It is our job to point a confused culture to God and a pure life.

It’s All About ESG Scores!

Globalist outfits like Black Rock have promised corporations an impressive ESG (equity, social, governance) score if they will cooperate in today’s dark agendas. Impressive ESG scores compensate for customers abandoning them!

God Has Said “Enough”

What did you think the last days would look like since we’re in the midst of them? Man’s sinful activity is begging for God to send His son to rescue His Bride from the depravity. It is sooner than you think!

The rainbow is a symbol of promise, purity, and power. What’s been done to desecrate it is such an insult to the Lord. It’s always belonged to God and always will. I wrote my own blog post about the rainbow a few years ago if anyone is interested.

I really liked your Rainbow article. I made a copy of it to keep. You really covered all the bases. I was aware of how light refraction produces it, but the “heavy science” of quantum mechanics has been more than a tad above my I.Q. rating. Maybe that actually helps me to enjoy it more. Mysteries can have an appeal all their own.

I think we will soon be seeing not only a rainbow in the world to come, but, best of all, the Creator who made them possible in the first place!

Last year, I had to go to Middletown, CT. to the hospital in June to see Mom, whose health was rapidly failing. I was totally DISGUSTED with all the gay displays – I mean the whole town was infected with stuff promoting this perversion all month.

Many, many years ago, I watched a friend die of AIDS. I never knew he was homosexual previously and he knew my views about this. But I never brought this up after I found out it. He remained my friend until the day he died. So, don’t let anyone insult my intelligence by saying this lifestyle is okay, because they will get a large argument from me!

The perverts have appropriated a symbol of God’s mercy to promote their cause, very much following the devil’s ability to appear as an angel of light, in these last days of Lot.

I will leave this sick world with a large smile on my face, you can believe that!

Jan Markell & Olive Tree Views hit it right where it hurts! Most, know that the lifestyle they lead is not pleasing to God. Many don’t care because they believe the LIE, “BORN THIS WAY”. Many even here who read this forum may believe this–I don’t know, but what I do know is the way God intended His Creation to live was man, woman, and their offspring. The LGBTQ+ agenda offers proof they are right by adopting and raising children who know no other familial custody than what their gay parents show them. What a role-model!(tongue in cheek). I’ve known many gay people in my life time. One thing most have in common is they’re quite arrogant when it comes to leaving their non-traditional lifestyle apart from what the rest of the world thinks! Don’t judge them based on how they live, but what kind of a person they are. They tell you one’s character is more important than their lifestyle. Most don’t have a criminal record and most are very successful. But none will ever tell you they believe they are violating any commandment of God’s by living this way. These people need Jesus now more than ever although many will come to Him in the Tribulation I firmly believe.

Here’s an argument to counter this “born that way” nonsensical excuse:

We are all born with a sin nature, right?

Does that then excuse us from sinning, or are we instead called to acknowledge this weakness and then do our best to then rise about it? (With God’s help, of course!)
