Looking Up While Locking Down
There is a sense among readers that the next proverbial shoe is about to drop—i.e., something big is about to happen, or break, or however one wishes to put it.
With all the movement in the world that, from the spiritual perspective, assaults morality every day, comes anxiety I hear expressed consistently. It goes something like: “I just hope the Rapture happens before they are able to put us all in prison, or worse.”
The anxiety comes across in different phrasing, but the angst is there and growing. And with all that’s going on, one can’t disagree totally that such worry isn’t somewhat warranted.
My own intention is to steer away from getting absorbed in the political process. I’ve gotten too immersed in such “hope” before and now realize that it isn’t earthly politics, but heavenly prophetic truth, we should base our hope on. Hope in the future, yes, but hope in the near time as well.
In looking at the political situation, however, we see our nation coming apart at the seams. We are losing the constitutional republic that Benjamin Franklin once said we now had—if we could keep it. The way this presidential administration and its Department of Justice are using their officialdom to destroy people in order to accomplish their absolute rule is indeed troubling, if not terrifying.
The way the mainstream media follows and implements the party line of that DC cabal now seems to mimic the Goebbels propagandist machine of the Nazi years. The blatancy with which the constitution is being ignored and eviscerated indeed should give the thinking American citizen reason for worry, to put it mildly.
And now there is more and more talk that a new pandemic is on the way. It is as if we are being prepared through that same system of propaganda to expect pestilence even more virulent than COVID so-called pandemic. That was almost certainly a test to check the degree of compliance that could be achieved, both by Americans and the rest of the world. Sadly, it looks to have been successful in many ways.
The powers that be of Ephesians 6:12—both demonic and human minions—have changed this country and other nations, I believe, in ways that have set in place a pathway for Satan to bring his man of sin to power.
The lockdowns have some still sequestered in their homes here and across the world, either forbidden to go out into the world in a normal way through governmental edict or continued fear people have of exposure to their environment.
The minions, in that regard, are using the climate-change lie to further bring about the lockdown of humanity they want, as the World Economic Forum and other agencies of the Luciferian sort continue to move toward implementing their blueprint as expressed in the Agenda 30 plans.
This planning is somewhat exposed in the following.
Covid was just the test run for what the WHO is planning for next time. The World Economic Forum (WEF), run by Klaus Schwab, is also involved with spearheading the scheme, which the Daily Exposé describes as follows:
“WHO’s ‘Pandemic Treaty’ will not only be concerned with pandemics. It introduces globally the ‘One Health’ ideology. The concept recognizes the interdependence of human and animal health and the connection with the environment.
“Through this One Health agenda, WHO will have the power to make decisions in matters relating to the environment (including greenhouse gas emissions, pollution, and deforestation), animal health (e.g., livestock), and human health (including vaccinations, social determinants, and population movement). With these extended powers, WHO could readily declare a climate or environmental emergency and enforce lockdowns.” Patricia Harrity, Expose, “Next On the Agenda Towards Totalitarianism…..Climate Lockdowns!” 8/4/23)
As stated before, those who are spiritually attuned to what is taking place often state they hope the Rapture occurs before we’re all placed in lockdown—and not just in the sense of being sequestered in our homes. There is coming a time when one will come on the scene who is worse than Adolf Hitler and his Nazi terrors.
But we know one thing we can take comfort from. God has not appointed us to that time–the seven years of Tribulation when the entire world will be locked down in the most heinous way.
We are to be looking up—Looking up for our “blessed hope” (Titus 2: 13). When we see exactly what we are witnessing by way of the wickedness preparing the way for Antichrist, Jesus Instructed us what to do:
And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. (Luke 21:28)
Deity and Deception
Wickedness is flooding this generation in America and around the world, as we try to document in these commentaries each week. Our purpose is to make people aware that the stage is being set for the fulfillment of Bible prophecy according to God’s Word. Truth comes only from the mind of a Holy God and is counter to all the deception that is rampant while the seven years of Tribulation draw ever closer.
Jesus said there would come a time near the end of the age when deceivers, even using His name in their declarations, would come on the scene:
“And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them” (Luke 21:8).
There would be a time when deceivers would say their credentials came from Him, the Lord said, in effect. He warned His listeners not to be deluded into thinking their false teaching and false prophecy came from Him. In other places, Jesus said all such deception came from the deceiver’s father, the devil, who is the “father of lies.”
Apart from the actual declaration that there are many ways to salvation other than through Jesus Christ (see John 14:16), I can think of no greater deception than that foisted upon America and the world today than the lies intrinsic within the evil of abortion. This practice sheds the blood of the innocent, one of the things God has stated He hates. As many as sixty-five million unborn children—maybe as many as seventy million by now—have been murdered in the wombs of mothers in America since the Roe v. Wade ruling in 1973.
Jesus’ prophecy that there would be deceivers claiming to be speaking and acting at His prompting seems to be manifest glaringly in the following story:
A female pastor who is also a Planned Parenthood advisor delivered a sermon in which she said she felt “God’s presence” when she aborted two pregnancies, and she blasted Evangelicals for their “toxic theology” on the subject.
In a sermon delivered July 9 at The Community Church of Chapel Hill Unitarian Universalist in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, the Rev. Rebecca Todd Peters spoke candidly about her own experience with abortion and how she views Scripture through that lens.
Wearing a pink stole emblazoned with the Planned Parenthood logo, Peters opened her message bemoaning the state of pro-life Evangelicalism, with its “talking fetuses, aggressive bumper stickers and saccharine billboards quoting Scripture and invoking God’s wrath.”
Peters, who is also a professor of religious studies and founding director of the Poverty and Social Justice Program at Elon University in North Carolina, referenced the state’s recently passed law banning most abortions after 12 weeks. She said the bill’s passage is an example of Evangelical culture setting the political tone on abortion.
“When it is primarily Catholics and Evangelical Christians who talk about God and faith and abortion, they define the narrative anti-choice Christians have so effectively shaped,” she said…
Peters, invoking the language of decolonization ideology, went on to claim this narrative “has colonized our minds, traumatizing many people with its toxic theology and shaping a culture of stigma and shame that has silenced millions of women and people who have had abortions, erasing their voices, their stories, and their witness from the public sphere.”…
In one of the more shocking moments of the sermon, Peters referred to pre-born life as a “zygote” and criticized the “anti-choice” position that life begins at conception.
She revealed that, as a mother of two, she had previously aborted two other pregnancies.
“I, too, feel that I am known by God in these ways, as a woman who has borne two children. I can affirm that I felt something sacred happening in my gestating body during those pregnancies,” said Peters. “I can also attest that I felt God’s presence with me as I made the decision to end two pregnancies, and I felt no guilt, no shame, no sin.” (Ian M. To be clear, this abominable theology is not the position of the mainline Presbyterian Church. This comes from an offshoot of that denomination which, like in the case of a number of denominations as of late, suffers from what I believe to be apostate incursion. And that satanic incursion was, I believe, part of the Lord Jesus’ warning. The end-times deceivers are declaring their theology comes from God. Jesus, of course, is God, but the deity that inspires such thinking represented in the story of this “pastor” comes not from Him but from the father of lies.
While witnessing the ramping up of such evil, be assured that God will soon judge the wickedness that says He approves of the killing of unborn babies. I’m of the strong conviction that the Lord will make His statement on when life begins by taking every child–even those just conceived—from the earth at that moment of Rapture.
Rather than condemning those who are under this deception, we want to bid them to accept God’s only way to salvation. Thus, the fallen mind that cannot see the truth in the matter of abortion and all other matters antithetical to God’s will can, through a reborn and renewed mind and spirit, know truth from the true Deity in Heaven.
Here is how to come to that salvation:
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9–10).
Dimensional Deceivers
The committee member, Tennessee Congressman Tim Burchett (R), spoke bluntly:
“We’ve been dealing [with government cover-ups] since 1947, probably since about 1897 in what was the Aurora Texas UFO crash.”
He said further, “[Extraterrestrial craft] can travel light years or at the speeds that we’ve seen defy physics as we know it. They can fly underwater and don’t show a heat trail,” he added. According to Burchett, the aliens could simply turn humans “into a charcoal briquette” if they wanted to, given their technology that is different from what humans known on earth.
He concluded, “We are out of our league. We couldn’t fight them off if we wanted to. That’s why I don’t think they’re a threat to us, or they would already have been.”
The past week, an emailer who is a frequent visitor to Rapture Ready wrote me regarding the hoopla over UFO sightings, etc., that currently surrounds testimony given during congressional committee sessions. He, in part, wrote the following:
I fully believe in UFOs and any person who wants to can go to any party favor store, Walmart, etc., and buy the materials needed to make a UFO…. However, I believe that extraterrestrial UFO technology /extraterrestrial life do not exist and do not line up with God’s Holy Word, the Bible. So, what are your thoughts on extraterrestrial life?
He then wrote:
I believe the UFO reports are all a distraction by some government officials and nothing more and that God created our planet, solar system and universe as unique.… I would like to know your thoughts on this.
I, of course, have addressed the UFO matters in depth over the years of writing commentaries, and I’ve even written extensively in novels, taking considerable literary license—but not anti-biblical license—in the storytelling.

Now that the UFO narrative has ramped up just as all other things that seem to be going on are converging, the subject of my emailer’s note, I think, deserves some increased scrutiny.
First, it’s interesting that US government officialdom has seen fit to change the nomenclature of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) to unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP).
My wonder over this—perhaps because of my overwhelming skepticism of anything coming out of this government nowadays—comes from the thought that someone wishes to get the public’s mind off of the kind of superfluous view that surrounds the topic of UFOs—i.e., people kind of look at these things with tongue in cheek. Even with the blockbuster movies about all of the space beings, etc., people as a whole still see in their mind’s eye little green beings of a spoofing, fictional sort.
I’m wondering if these controller-types in high places now want us to begin taking the UFOs seriously. Maybe that’s why the mysterious sightings have been dubbed “UAPs” to help change our mindsets.
Certainly the whistleblowers on the UAP matters being sent to testify before congressional committees is a sea change in the way government has to this point dealt with the strange sightings over the years.
We see the change in the way government wants to deal with possible visitors from other worlds in the following:
In July, Congress quietly admitted that Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) are not “man-made” and that the threat is “expanding,” burying the startling revelations in a report added to the Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2023. The finding was first reported by Vice on Tuesday. The report also criticized the DoD for “the slow pace” at which the department was establishing the office “to address those threats” related to UFOs. (“Congress quietly says UFO threat ‘expanding,’ not all are ‘man-made’,” American Military News)
The congressman’s statement at the beginning of this post convinces me that he wholeheartedly believes the UAP is of extraterrestrial origin. The testimony of the whistleblowers indicates there are indeed proofs of little green men—or gray men, or whatever their color—whose cadavers are stored in US government warehouses. The testimonies, allowed to go forward—a thing totally unlike government permission ever given in the past—should make us ask: “Why now?”
It does make me wonder, “Why now?” and here’s what I think in that regard—in answer to my emailer friend.
My response is wrapped up in the title I’ve given this post, “Dimensional Deceivers.” Jesus’ first Words in giving prophetic signs to look for in anticipation of His Second Coming were a caution that we should be careful not to be deceived. I believe this is deception of the first order—or perhaps of the last, or final, order. We are being set up for the great delusion that will follow the sudden disappearance of multiple millions from the earth—including every child below the age of accountability.
The human minions of Ephesians 6:12 no doubt aren’t in on this deception—at least, not at the Luciferian level of collusion. They are likely genuinely looking for ways to control the masses if and when an invasion of the supposed extraterrestrials takes place. Many of these human minions no doubt believe they will have entry into the highest positions of power if they are ahead of things that will be coming forth when the ETs strike.
But Satan and his demonic minions know the Rapture is coming. They are setting up the deception in advance of 2 Thessalonians and the appearance of their man of sin, Antichrist.
It is a “dimensional invasion,” not an “extraterrestrial invasion,” that the post-Rapture world will experience. Planting the thought in in the people’s minds that we face an actual, proven, extraterrestrial threat is coming on full force.
This, again, all means that the moment when Jesus, our blessed hope, shouts, “Come up here!” to all believers must be very soon.
To go to the safety found only within the Lord Jesus Christ when He shouts those words, please follow the instructions Paul the apostle was given by the Holy Spirit:
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9–10)
Believers, Take Comfort
Every significant prophetic signal is appearing every hour, indicating that Christ will at any twinkling-of-the-eye moment call believers to Himself. God’s Word offers great comfort to those who have accepted His grace gift of salvation to those who believe Christ died so they, personally, can be redeemed from the sin into which we’re all born.
I think it’s good to use this column this week to post the Scriptures that promise the stupendous rescue from this world of growing wickedness.
We are told to take comfort from thinking about and believing the stupendous promise of the Rapture.
Here are a number of those scriptural promises:
- John 14:1–3: “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it werenot so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”
- Romans 8:19: “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.”
- 1 Corinthians 1:7–8: “So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may beblameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
- 1 Corinthians 15:51–53: “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal mustput on immortality.”
- Philippians 3:20–21: “For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.”
- Colossians 3:4: “When Christ, who isour life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.”
- 1 Thessalonians 1:10: “And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, evenJesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.”
- 1 Thessalonians 2:19: “For what isour hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?”
- 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18: “But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive andremain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”
- 1 Thessalonians 5:9: “For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.”
- 1 Thessalonians 5:23: “And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray Godyour whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
- 2 Thessalonians 2:1–3: “Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and byour gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.”
- 1 Timothy 6:14: “That thou keep thiscommandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
- 2 Timothy 4:1: “I charge theetherefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom.”
- Titus 2:13: “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.”
- Hebrews 9:28: “So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.”
- James 5:7–9: “Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh. Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.”
- 1 Peter 1:7, 13: “That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ….. Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.”
- 1 John 2:28, 3:2: “And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming…. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.”
- Jude 21: “Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.”
- Revelation 2:25: “But that which ye have alreadyhold fast till I come.”
- Revelation 3:10: “Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.”
Remember, with the privilege of the great promise of Rapture comes the responsibility of each of us to witness of His soul-saving sacrifice on the cross so many will join God’s family before their death or before that seven years of Tribulation that is awaiting those who reject Jesus, the only hope for lost humanity.
Here, again, is the Scripture in witness to Christ’s saving power:
Romans 10:9–10: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
Going Blind
Author’s note: This was posted in 2019 as my testimony about the Lord’s dealing with this weak vessel in His wonderful way of steering His children in directions He desires rather than the ways the fallen mind wants us to wander. I sense it is a good time to resubmit the article, prayerfully hoping to be of some benefit to my brothers and sisters within God’s family.
Going Blind
“I believe what you have is retinitis pigmentosa,” the retinal specialist said after the test. It was what I believe he called a scleral exam.
In conducting the test, the specialist uses the lower skeletal bone surrounding the eyeball as a fulcrum. He places a hard, plastic instrument that looks like a small shoe spoon beneath the eyeball, then uses the lower bone forming the eye socket to pop the eyeball out to some extent.
I once heard Sugar Ray Leonard, the welterweight and later middle-weight boxing champion, say that he would rather go fifteen rounds with his chief nemesis, Tommy “The Hitman” Hearns than to have that examination again. Leonard suffered a detached retina from a bout, so had to have the same type of exam.
I know exactly what Mr. Leonard meant. It was extremely painful and excruciatingly lengthy. The specialist then keeps putting the pressure at different points along the lower eye socket bone to best pop the eyeball out while shining a painful light on the retina. He then stops to make scribbles on some sort of chart before returning to torturing the patient.
The exam was complete in about forty minutes. Afterward, when the doctor then put his thumb and index finger to chin and told me the news, my obvious question was, of course: “What’s retinitis pigmentosa?”
“Well, it’s one we don’t know much about,” he replied. “It’s a degeneration of the rods and cones that make up the retina.”
“What does that mean?”
He said very matter-of-factly, as if giving a clinical report to a student, “It means the retina is being dissolved.”
“What does it mean about my being able to see?” I naturally asked.
He was looking at some sort of book. “It says here that most with the disease go blind.”
That was all in 1977. They didn’t know much about the disease at that time. They know a lot more today, but still can do nothing about the malady; it can’t be cured, although they are reportedly making strides toward artificially restoring some degree of vision.
Now, to all who are having retinal problems and must face a retinal specialist’s exam, I must offer this bit of comfort: They now have technological means (machinery) to do—with painless procedures—what the doctors did during that exam. Never fear: You most likely will never have to face the procedure Sugar Ray and I had to face.
I am also commissioned, however, to forewarn a procedure that is going to be infinitely more painful: the Great White Throne judgment. It involves examination of a world of people going, well, blind—spiritually blind.
Thankfully, the Lord of Heaven has been with yours truly all these years of going blind. And, that’s exactly what God has made it possible for me to do. That is, He has kept me going while being physically blind.
I’ve been blessed beyond measure by His providing all necessary to accomplish things on His behalf in writing, speaking, and other ministry. I continue to, literally, keep going while totally blind, through God’s grace and permissive will.
What God gives us to do, He makes clear. It might take some time, but, eventually, ultimately, He will dissolve the haze and make our pathway clear.
Of course, we must make every effort to obey. As Dr. Charles Stanley puts it, “Obey God no matter what, and leave all the consequences to Him.”
Proverbs contains the Scripture that encapsulates this directive from on high: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths” (Proverbs 3:5–6). It is with that divine imperative that my pathway was made clear on Good Friday, April 22, 2011. I’ve written and spoken many times about the profound intervention God performed that day.
I died clinically three times because of the widow-maker heart attack. I knew precisely each time my heart stopped. I was instantaneously in the presence of heavenly beings—beautiful young men and women who were jubilant and inviting me to join them.
The third time my heart stopped and I was with them, I was running with them, as if in a glorious victory celebration.
The Holy Spirit has shown me on a number of occasions since that this was Hebrews 12:1–3 in action. The specific celebration was to impress upon my spirit that the Lord approves of, in particular, the message that Jesus is on the very cusp of returning. Even more specifically, I have had it validated in the deepest reaches of my spiritual heart that He is coming very soon in the Rapture for the Church (see Romans 10:9–10).
This will occur before God’s wrath and judgment must fall on an incorrigibly wicked world of rebellious God-deniers. And this gets back to that world of people who are going, blind. Sadly, they think they see clearly their pathway ahead. They believe humanistic endeavor can guide them to a preferable destination. But their vision is shortsighted. They suffer, you might say, from spiritual retinitis pigmentosa, at the basis of which is the soul-destroying infection called sin.
They keep going, while blind to truth, down that broad way that leads to destruction and the black abyss of eternity. So, my mission, my assignment, is to keep going, even though I’m physically blind. Witness of Christ’s saving power is our heavenly mandate. That is what I intend to do. And, that is what you, as Christ’s representative on earth–His royal ambassador—are to do also.
The heavenly rewards for such faithful service are staggering to contemplate: “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him” (1 Corinthians 2:9).
Our spiritual eyes must stay turned toward Heaven as we negotiate this darkening earthly traverse. The light of Jesus Christ will illuminate our pathway as we obey His commandment to go forth and witness of His power to save the soul, no matter how sin-ridden.
Christ’s promises are beyond our ability to fully imagine. Things of unparalleled splendor and glory that we will experience at the moment of Rapture–or death, if we pass instantaneously through that doorway—are incomprehensible from this present perspective. Our vision will be made perfect at that time: “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known” (1 Corinthians 13:12).
The Lucifer Syndrome
It is the thing termed “iniquity” that bends our finite minds beyond understanding, the infinite mystery that makes one ask: How can a God whose every facet is framed by perfection have allowed such a thing as iniquity to exist?
That mystery brought into the world sin, thus death and all the subsequent evil involved in the separation of people from their Creator. Iniquity is on the rise in this world now, operating as powerfully as it did when it engendered rebellion in the Garden of Eden and during antediluvian times.
The introduction of its appearance is found in the following:
Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. (Ezekiel 28:14–16)
God’s Word further chronicles the effects of iniquity upon the once-magnificent created being called Lucifer:
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. (Isaiah 14:12–14)
Throughout the eons, this creature–perhaps the most glorious of all creatures before God made humans in His own image—has infected all of the created order we’re aware of. Iniquity runs rampant amongst the globalist, would-be gods–the human minions within the “powers and principalities” of Ephesians 6:12.
These, under Lucifer’s (Satan’s) guidance, are striving with all the wealth and power they have to, like that old serpent himself, usurp God’s authority. They’re attempting to change God’s order of things at every turn.
They are at the center of the rebellion found within the entities that want to change the biological order—i.e., they say a person can be the gender of their choice rather than the one they were born. These declare that man can relate to man and woman to woman sexually just as during the days of Lot in Sodom. Such anti-God thinking promotes more and more the sexual exploitation of children in ways too egregious to detail here.
This is what I term “the Lucifer syndrome.” They are of their father, the devil, as Jesus put it. They believe and practice the lies Lucifer still foists upon humankind just as he has done since he, as a serpent, entered the pristine Garden of Eden and told Eve and Adam they could be like God Himself.
The Lucifer syndrome is infecting and affecting all who want to assume authority over this judgment-bound planet. They have invented the term “climate change” in pursuit of establishing their control. We’ve witnessed their nefarious doings, especially over recent months and years.
Their Agenda 30/Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) is currently scheduled to be put on the fast track to implementation this September. Climate change, is, of course, at the heart of their plans to create crises sufficient to cause global panic. Thus, they intend to force all to come within their Great Reset blueprint, thereby bringing about changes of their own making rather than keeping things as God has determined.
There are reports that they’re doing things like putting a screen of sorts between the sun and the Earth to cut down on global warming and other “harmful effects,” as they believe.
In reading reports of weather-induced disasters, it seems God is allowing the geophysical elements to feed their frenzy. The SDG sorts, in their Lucifer-syndrome, reprobate thinking, believe all the volatile weather is caused by such things as an increased carbon footprint wrought by people’s abuse of the planet.
However, I’m convicted it is the Words of Jesus that are being played out with all the truly ramped-up, weather-related events we are seeing. (A quick review of Rapture Ready News and the reports from around the world bears this out, to be sure.)
Jesus said the following to the Judaizers who tried to get Him to silence those who were praising Him as He entered Jerusalem on the donkey:
And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out. (Luke 19:40)
We are witnessing, I’m convinced, much of humankind turning their backs on God. The very elements–the created order—therefore are speaking out in witness to His glory.
The anti-God forces–those infected by the Lucifer syndrome—want to usurp God’s throne. They, whether wittingly or not, are, like their father, the devil, spreading and perpetuating the lie that man-made climate change will destroy the planet. They want all people to follow their lies down the broad way that leads away from the Savior.
This all means, I believe, the Lord is quickly setting the stage for the man of sin and his regime of control. –Thus to, through God’s judgment and wrath, bring about the end of the rebellion that began long ago when iniquity first entered the thoughts of Lucifer. It means, more importantly for believers of this Age of Grace, that the Lord Jesus is about to call His Church into the clouds of glory in the twinkling of an eye.
Here is how to go to Jesus when He makes that call:

Imagine you’re a young mother. You’re expecting your second child within the month, and you are pushing a shopping cart. Your three-year-old son is sitting in the cart’s seat as you move down an aisle of the grocery store looking for specific items.
In less than a second, the child in front of your eyes disappears. At that same moment, an indescribable sensation within your body convulses and you collapse to the hard floor. You know something has happened to the baby you are carrying.
What a terrible way to start a review of a book you want people to purchase and read. Can any good come from such a thought—such a fictional depiction?
Let me assure you, there is no such scene in this terrific novel by Skye Burgdorf. But the horrific scene I created to begin this review is a fact that will be experienced perhaps millions of times in one moment to come.
I know there is an entire seminary line of thinking that says all children will not go in the Rapture. I totally discount this teaching, as many know. Every child below the age of accountability will go to the Lord Jesus Christ when He calls all believers to Himself in that stunning moment. This includes every child that has just been conceived.
In that instant, God will make an unmistakable statement about the sanctity of life and about when life begins.
This isn’t even up for debate with me, so I proceed with this review with my contention that this is truth concerning the question: Will all children go to Christ at the Rapture?
The point I wish to make in beginning this way is that none of us who are born again want this to happen to any such woman–or to have anything like this horror happen to anyone, for that matter.
This novel account of that post-Rapture time is, I believe, a description of Tribulation-era evil that can lead unbelievers to a sober realization. I’m sure it will be used by the Holy Spirit to convict those who haven’t accepted Christ to do so before it’s too late.
Skye Burgdorf, in Lost but Not Forgotten, portrays in a real-to-life fashion what life might be like following the Rapture. By “real-to-life,” I mean her characters come alive and she moves them in a truly believable way through that horrific time Jesus said will be the worst that has ever been on earth or would ever be again (Matthew 24: 21).
Here’s a synopsis:
Following the Rapture, a paralegal from the big city scrambles to find out what really happened. Were her parents right about their Christian theology? Savy and her best friend, Jules, a hairdresser whom she has known since elementary school, decide to weed through the chaos in the streets to go back to their hometown in Leipers Fork, Tennessee. They begin to meet people who were intertwined into their lives for a purpose and share stories of where they were when “The Big Change” happened. As a one-world government forms, a new world leader emerges. Savy and her new family endure the hardships of global tribulation by pulling together and trying to live in a world of exponentially increasing evil. Jules felt the need to care for her grandfather when things first started, but when camps are set up between her and Savy, will she ever make it back to her? How will they survive the coming devastations? Where will they go? Who will they look to for all the answers? When she gets home, she sees things that could possibly help her survive, not knowing there is a hidden secret her parents left for her just in case she remained lost.
Through the intense, moment-by-moment struggle to evade and survive forces of wickedness, there emerge moments of sharing the soul-saving message of the Gospel. Just as there are demonic forces at work, the heavenly force is even more in evidence while those left behind after the Rapture learn to rely on their only hope–the Blessed Hope of Titus 2:13.
The novel kept me wanting to read more and provoked a bit of irritation when I had to put it aside in order to get one thing or the other done. So it is a story I can wholeheartedly recommend that you get into the hands of those who are on your heart in regard to their salvation. This story will, I believe, convict them to consider what being lost at the moment of Rapture would mean to them personally and, we can pray, convince them to accept the only safe harbor, the Lord Jesus Christ.

“Follow the money” is a familiar suggestion when looking for the cause of something nefarious. To my way of thinking, nothing is more nefarious, in terms of human evil, than the powers and principalities of Ephesians 6:12 attempting to bring in their New World Order.
This matter is at the very heart of Satan’s determination to enslave and rule over a world of human beings he wants to worship him. Just like in most all other areas of human interaction, “following the money” is essential in investigating the drive of the world’s globalists elite to control every facet of buying and selling.
God’s Word says the following:
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. (1 Timothy 6:10)
Wealth—that is, money and those who control money—is always at the heart of power. Satan, therefore, has plied those who covet power down through the ages with the riches of this world. He even tempted Jesus with the promise that he, Satan, would give Jesus all the wealth of the world if He would fall down and worship him. The devil continues along the same path he started on in the Garden of Eden. “You will be like God,” he told Adam and Eve, if they would just obey him and eat of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Any honest appraisal of things that have gone on in what is known now as the Washington, DC, swamp must conclude that the love of money is at the heart of the anti-God activities spawned by government and the vast amounts of money leaders wield. Many among our elected representatives shape and tailor policies to best suit the influence for votes they need to stay in power. –This and consort with powerful monetary entities who pay big sums for influence within policy-making.
These, it seems, consider federal taxes their own, not ours. And the out-of-control spending has us many trillions of dollars in debt–debt that generations to come will never be able to pay.
Yet the money-printing presses keep running.
But there is an answer to the burgeoning debt on the way. We can clearly see the solution shaping up hour by hour. We have to get away from how business is currently done. We must go to the digital dollar—a type of electronic-funds transfer.
The digital way of doing business is destined to be all we hear about in the coming days. Governments, both in America and abroad, must have total control over the rest of us and how we buy and sell. The digital dollar and all it entails is even now being designed to give power and authority not unlike that exerted over the Chinese people by the CCP.

As with all climate change related events the discussion in Paris inevitably turned to international centralization of power and the formation of a global consortium to fix the problems that they claim sovereign nations cannot or will not fix.

The United States, as we’ve discussed a number of times, is the nation-state holdup to this system being totally adopted. The American public cannot easily be cajoled into giving up the many luxuries that come from living in a free, constitutionally-protected society. However, the globalists elite have seen through the COVID pandemic that Americans are vulnerable to crisis-engendered threats. The lessons they learned haven’t been lost on those who would control the world through their nefarious planning—like the Great Reset.
So look for talk of the digital dollar to increase greatly over the coming days. The crisis or series of crises must be an integral, even central, part of their Reset blueprint. America is the chief target of that blueprint planning.
I believe they will not be able to bring America into this satanic monetary orbit without a crisis of monumental significance.
But it will happen, I’m convinced, and have said so many times.
That “crisis” will be one that is Heaven-sent to a judgment-deserving planet of God-rejecting earth dwellers. The Rapture will bring that crisis to fruition. From all of this evil will come the Antichrist mark-and-number system of Revelation 13:16–18.
The Lord appeals to all people everywhere to accept His only Way to salvation, thus to avoid the judgment and wrath that are coming upon the planet. Here again is how to go to Christ when He calls God’s children to be with Him in the safety of Heaven:

Daniel’s Doomsday Deluge
Powerful forces are at work beneath the relative tranquility that masks the true state of our nation and world. Our society boils with turbulence beneath a crumbling veneer of sophistication. It is a culture mirrored by soap opera-type fiction and hedonistic movies that have, in turn, mesmerized much of the American public. Life has indeed imitated art, while year after year, morals have degenerated and the very concept of morality has been turned upside down and inside out.
Those who don’t know Christ for salvation are given a thrill-a-minute fix to satisfy insatiable cravings for instant gratification. All too many among the saved are caught up in the lures of worldly pursuits. Americans are, for the most part, sadly, all the while descending deeper and deeper into depravity.
Gleam, glitter, and unparalleled techno-gadgetry have procured Americans hours upon hours of time for pleasure-seeking and, it is more than abundantly obvious, for mischief-making. While the moguls of science do provide great benefits for human health, wealth, and achievement, to see the direction all of this is sweeping us, we only have to consider the news. We’re not a society that’s getting better and better every day and in every way, like the New Age evolutionary thinkers would have us believe. Feeding our voracious appetites for more exciting thrills and greater pleasures has only generated phenomenal growth in criminal activity. Those who perceive themselves to be the have-nots ravenously want the material things the propagandists flash before their lusting eyes. Because Big Brother government has, in effect, destroyed the work ethic through give-away welfare programs (but can in no way give this dependent class the shimmering lifestyle it lusts after), the rip in the fabric of society widens daily as the ungovernable elements engage in the only occupation they believe can secure for them the thrills and pleasures they seek. As a result, gang members as young as seven live and often die in their unattainable pursuits.
Last-Days Scenarios
Can there be any doubt that the end-of-the-age conditions and activities God’s Word predicts are now being played out before our eyes? The similarities between the biblical descriptions and the news reports are stunningly evident.
Human atrocities against fellow humans are pandemic. Stories of debased behavior are so numerous that news articles that would have formerly been front-page headlines now are relegated to pages farther back because even more heinous stories overshadow them.
Jesus Himself prophesied about the generation on earth at the time of His Second Advent: “But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be” (Matthew 24:37). He said, while talking with His disciples on the Mount of Olives, that generation, like the pre-Flood society of Noah’s day, will be “eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage” (Matthew 24:38). Like in Noah’s day, society will be conducting business as usual, desensitized to the perversities going on around them and even more desensitized to any consideration of the things of God and divine judgment.
Daniel the prophet said: “And the end of it shall be with a flood” (Daniel 9: 26), meaning a flood of wicked behavior and of God’s wrath and judgment pour upon the unrepentant, blasphemous people of the apocalypse. Jesus said the generation alive at the end of the age will be totally immersed in doing what is right in their own eyes, as were the folks of Noah’s day. The people of that earlier generation were getting married, going to parties, and engaging in commerce while their perversions, debaucheries, violence, and blasphemies were simply well-accepted, even welcome, ingredients in the culture and society of the time. Jesus said they were carrying on as usual “until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away, so shall also the coming of the son of man be” (Matthew 24:28–39).
Jesus was saying that people living at the time of His return will have become so rebellious as to have rejected the notion of a Creator God. Their thinking will have become so reprobate, their consciences so seared, that many will even forget that such a God was ever said to have existed! Christ’s coming will be so swift and startling that it will be like the horror of that long-ago, worldwide deluge that destroyed all but those who were found righteous in God’s eyes. Just prior to that Flood, Enoch disappeared, having been translated into the presence of the God with whom he walked righteously (Genesis 5:24). Noah and his family were supernaturally preserved upon the raging sea that engulfed the entire earth (Genesis 8).
Jesus also drew the parallel between the time of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah and the days that will immediately precede the consummation of the age. “Also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed” (Luke 17:28–29).
Peter the apostle wrote about Lot’s days of interaction with the people of Sodom: “For that righteous man [Lot] dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds” (2 Peter 2:8). Peter then went on to imply the type of behavior that greatly disturbed Lot—the sort of behavior that inevitably brings on Almighty God’s indignation and judgment:
But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they; self-willed, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities…. But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not, and shall utterly perish in their own corruption, And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to revel in the daytime. Spots they are and blemishes, reveling with their own deceiving while they feast with you. Having eyes full of adultery and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls; an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children, Who have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray…. These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with the tempest, to whom the mist of darkness is reserved forever. For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that are just escaping from them who live in error. While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption; for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. (2 Peter 2:8–19)
God’s Word speaks powerfully of His opinion about the vile activities that were commonplace during Lot’s day warning all generations that His righteous judgment must and will fall on those who engage in ungodly enterprises:
Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. In like manner also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities…these speak evil of those things which they know not; but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves. Woe unto them! For they have gone in the way of Cain…. Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever. (Jude 7–13)
The Holy Scripture then rolls before the mind’s eye of our imagination the awesome truth within the words, “it is a fearful thing to fall in the hands of the living God” (Hebrews 10: 31). As the book of Jude continues:
And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convict all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage. But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; How they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These are they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. (Jude 14–19).
Apologies to Sodom and Gomorrah
Ruth Bell Graham said, in surveying the growing wickedness in our nation, that if God did not judge the United States, He would surely have to apologize to the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. Many years have passed since Mrs. Graham made that (in my opinion, very correct) assessment. Does the fact that the United States has not been obliterated by fire and brimstone, consumed in a thermonuclear holocaust or by supernatural fire, mean our conduct is improving enough that the Almighty will not judge us like He did those ancient cities? Or does it mean Mrs. Graham was wrong?
One thing is sure. God is never wrong and thus never needs to apologize for His actions. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8.) His immutability is perfectly consistent. Thankfully, and praise His holy name, so is His quality of mercy, His slowness to anger and wrath—else the little, though tremendously prideful, creature called man would have ceased to exist long ago.
The reason God has not yet brought about the removal of His Church and hasn’t yet let Daniel’s end-times flood of evil deluge a judgment-deserving world of rebels is found in the following:
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night. (2 Peter 3:8–10a)
Don’t let the day of God’s wrath being poured out on a judgment-deserving world be part of your future. Accept Christ this moment and be assured of being lifted to the safe harbor of Heaven for all of eternity. Here is how:
