For now, the whole country has dodged a bullet. God surely had mercy. But will he allow time to make America great again? It’s a catchy campaign slogan, but is it reality in light of God’s end-time planned scenario?
The Left has a terribly dark heart—driven by the god of this world. And they are driving the out-of-control spirit of the Antichrist that has been unleashed in America and the world. It is the same spirit that invaded Israeli kibbutzim on October 7, 2023. It is merciless.
You have to wonder how half of America will vote for this agenda to continue. How on earth did this happen? Because evil and Leftism control the media, academia, entertainment, and even the religious left.
But is there still time in God’s economy to make America great after years of unspeakable wreckage? Have you noticed the calamities throughout the planet that affect all of America’s policies?
- The time clock for the end of the Church Age, Israel, is in turmoil.
- The globalists continue to destabilize Europe and shake up European leadership.
- There is currently no one in power whom the world admires. It is, in fact, leaderless.
- There is a longing for a Mr. Fix-It.
- Violence and lawlessness reign.
- Technology—and, specifically artificial intelligence—is taking over everything, just as it will in the Tribulation.
- Hearts are growing cold (Matthew 24:12) as some in America cheer on the violence perpetrated against a presidential candidate.
- Many church pulpits are silent at this time in history; others are riddled with false doctrine, led by wolves.
- There seems to be a love of evil (II Timothy 3:13) as worldwide, people are celebrating anti-Semitic activity and denouncing people who have done nothing but bless the world.
- Gog is preparing to make a move.
These and two dozen more bullet point issues will be difficult to reverse!
We have all been sickened by what we’ve seen in the last few years. Conservatives are portrayed as deplorables. Trump himself is repeatedly compared to Hitler. Endless rhetoric portrays Christians and conservatives as the fascists from the 1930s. Pro-lifers and Republicans are mocked and vilified as dangerous. The liberal media suggests that you and I will be the end of democracy.
Gov. Mike Huckabee made a profound statement that this near catastrophe—this assassination attempt—is a “spiritual issue.” America has a spiritual problem. It’s that spirit of the Antichrist. I think that’s what Mike Huckabee sees.
Donald Trump is not the Antichrist. That man is waiting in the wings. And, make no mistake, the globalists are cheering today. They must have instability and uncertainty. They want the world to look to them to provide both.
There is a seven-year period when they will get their wish.
I’m not sure if we can make America great again, or if it is actually time for a trumpet to blow and for this age to wind down. But can you imagine a world that is reeling from a televised assassination attempt to suddenly experience the absence of millions of people?
Is this the one-two punch that is needed for the installation of Daniel’s Seventieth Week? Is this a scenario that will push a Mr. Fix-It onto the world stage?
Perhaps so. Perhaps today. Are you ready?
Ohhhhhh yes ! I am PAST ready, Terry !
I think America got a 4-year reprieve when Mr. Trump was elected in 2016. Then, the inmates were turned loose from the asylum after he supposedly lost the election (but I won’t go there today!).
Maybe we’ll get another pause from the left-wing lunacy if he gets re-elected this November. Even so, based on the acceleration of the antichrist-spirit influence on Earth, I think it highly possible we’ll be long-gone before his four-year term would be up this time.
Matter of fact, if we have even a year left, I’ll be surprised.
I’m looking forward to going to our “Forever Home” more and more every day!
Me too, Ed. I can’t imagine things going on much longer, but I admit, like Jan Markell, I didn’t imagine we still be here, either.
God does whatever He decides and His timing is perfect, that I’m sure of. Human patience runs out many years (Millennia?) before the Lord’s! I’m grateful to know how close we are, unlike our brothers and sisters from generations past, who didn’t understand all of the signs. We do because we surely are in the last of the Last Days; we can now see the things Daniel, Ezekiel, Isaiah, Paul, Jesus, and John talked about.
I’m spending more time focused on work, church (my Bible) and family than in the years past. Being fully engaged in every aspect of my life takes my mind off of the wickedness we know is rapidly encroaching.
Being grateful we see God’s hand at work like no generation ever has, except for when Jesus walked the earth. And then people didn’t have a global lens, the way we do now.
What a time to be alive! Mixed feelings isn’t an adequate way to express what we are feeling, but that will have to do for now. We are Heaven-bound!
Maranatha!
I, too, am staying busy, not only with the usual jobs keeping my place in order, my vehicles, and assorted lawn machines and appliances running, but also having some in-depth discussions with some of my neighbors about the Bible and what it says about salvation and where we are in history.
I am perceiving a real hunger and in them to try to make sense of the way things are today and it has opened some doors for me. The amazing thing is that it has usually been these people which broached the subject and I make no bones about what I think the world situation now is, where I think it is headed, and why I believe what I believe.
Could this be one of the reasons I’m still around? Well, why not? I fell privileged to be able to have the conversations I’ve been having and to be a witness. What is also neat is how I often get the right words at the right time.
Just goes to show you that God doesn’t need a perfect set of tools to accomplish his “repair jobs.”
God bless!
Hello,
Sometimes I feel as if I’m watching a dystopian movie in a virtual reality headset. I find myself now wondering how many more times I will see or hear another jaw dropping episode of demonic insanity come across the airwaves. And, the thing that is breaking my heart is the lost lambs. I have a large extended family and to my knowledge, there are only maybe 5 or 6 that have a born-of-the Spirit standing with the Lord Jesus Christ. I know that the devil wants me to give up crying out to my Heavenly Father for them and my neighbors and my city and my countrymen. This is my upmost priority. They just can’t be left behind, because, that scenario is too awful for me to even think about. I just think we need to keep encouraging one another to finish this race, keep praying and loving each other no matter what. In Christ’s love.
To make America “great again” we first have to make God great again, by honoring the one and only true God and repenting of our sins, i.e. abortion, immorality, etc. Our nation at one time revered God and we were blessed. Now our nation shakes it fist at God. May He have mercy on us and may we repent and obey Him.
Father, I am ready for King Jesus! Maranatha!
I absolutely love Jan’s sobering approach to this topic. Not that I am against praying for one’s country and praying for hearts to turn to the Lord once again en masse, but I am seeing a remarkably similar occurrence to what the Lord told Jeremiah prior to Israel’s exile. He said to Jeremiah, “As for you, do not pray for this people, or lift up a cry or prayer for them, and do not intercede with me, for I will not hear you. Do you not see what they are doing in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?” (Jeremiah 7:16–17). I wonder if the Lord is seeing what we are doing in the cities of America–unfettered abortion, LGBTQ+ indoctrination and pursuit of transgenderism in adults and minors, rejection of God’s design for families, ungodly teachings in schools, apostasy in the church, a push to normalize pedophilia, etc.–and He no longer hears the prayers and intercessions of the remnant church to restore godly normalcy in our country. It would definitely seem that way given the breakneck speed at which we are rapidly accelerating toward the Tribulation. I absolutely recognize I could be dead wrong, and so I also pray for godly restoration in our country. Don’t get me wrong; I would love to go back to the sane America we had growing up. However, the end times have to occur at some point, and it could be very well that the Lord is finally pushing forward with His countdown, having started with the return of the Jewish people to Israel after declaring statehood in 1948. Whether or not we are restored is up to God, but I personally am getting a feeling it won’t happen this time. Maranatha!
You brought out a very apt observation. Comes a time when even God’s patience runs out, as I believe it is about to on this increasingly wicked planet. The Old Testament clearly shows God didn’t spare his chosen people when they turned their back on him, but allowed them to be conquered and dispersed by pagan foreign nations. So, the gentile world should certainly not expect any less when it comes to judgment for its godless actions.
I prefer to pray for the remnant, that God will watch over it and increase its numbers.
I also agree with you that the America of our youth is most likely not coming back. I’m not saying it is impossible, just that it, well, ain’t likely!
God’s word has been available for thousands of years and yet most of the world is not interested – that makes it without excuse.
This may sound harsh, but as far as I’m concerned, my “Sympathy Wagon” has long since rolled off into the sunset!
What made America great in the past was God plain and simple. The blessings we once enjoyed as a result of our intervention in WW2 can not be overstated. The fruit of these blessings lasted for at least 40 years. Our unified entrance into the war with our allies culminated in the liberation of Jews from Nazi concentration camps.
The manufacturing base constructed during this war created jobs and prosperity for millions of Americans and our allies in Europe and elsewhere. The rescue of the Jews from Nazi Germany paved the way for Israel to again be established in the Land of Promise. It is my belief that our nation received a bounty of blessings as a result of these things.
Truly, no one can deny that America was an industrial power at that time and every sector of our economy enjoyed a time of great prosperity. It was not until the United States sought to intervene in the Middle East, compelling Israel to divide their Land to their enemies that this prosperity and blessing began to dissipate.
There is little doubt that our prosperity as a nation and the bountiful blessings we enjoyed, is directly tied to our relationship with Israel. It is assured that unless America ceases from compelling Israel to continue to divide the Land, we will continue to heap the fury of the Lord God upon us.
Everyday, I see endless rows of commercial buildings abandoned that once were bustling manufacturing plants, now look like aged tombstones. These stand as a testament to our unquestionable demise and relentless debt accumulation. No, America can not be great again as long as our policies remain in opposition to God and the promises to His people Israel.
I totally agree, Rodney!
Jesus said, “For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.” (Luke 12:48b)
We have definitely abandoned our responsibility as a nation and with it has come desolation.
I realize many are putting their hopes in former President Trump to rebuild our nation and restore our prosperity, that would be wonderful. It it clear however to me personally that neither of these two candidates will be our next President.
There is a spiritual deprivation in this nation that will not be fixed by any politician. The same is being experienced in Israel simultaneously. Both nations are divided and deteriorating rapidly. It is my further belief that God is calling Israel to repentance and to acknowledge the God of their salvation.
Concerning our own nation, it would seem that this call of repentance has went out for decades and yet was not heeded. Where we go from here is further in the abyss of depravity as hearts become as granite. I can only pray that we hold fast to our faith and share the Gospel to all that will hear while it is still Day.
For Israel, I see Gog/Magog of Ezekiel 38/39 being prepared by the hand of God to bring His people into remembrance where their true security lies. The prophetic landscape is becoming clearer by the day concerning Israel, there will be no end to the current hostilities without the direct intervention by the Hand of God.
Israel will not be saved by our elections in November, that much is certain. The storm that is being gathered against Israel on all sides is being gathered by the Hand of God. America is too under seige by dark forces as this nation prepares to step in its prophetic destiny as well under the direction of the Lawless One.
May God be with us all!
Again, I agree with you, Rodney. I am hoping Donald Trump will win the election, however, we can’t rely on any human to fix all the things that are wrong. At best, a second Trump presidency will slow down the process of deterioration only, like it did in 2016-2020. Israel, too, is a very secular nation and also has many of the moral and spiritual problems we have in America and across Western Civilization.
Prophecy shows us clearly that the trend of history is for humanity to become more and more godless and corrupt. There is nothing that can stop this as far as the world goes, but each person can decide which side of history he or she is on – God’s or Satan’s.
The Gog-Magog attack will, as you said, be another attempt to show Israel that God, not Iron Dome or the IDF or anyone or anything else, will save them, this lesson only finally being accepted when Jesus comes back to put a halt to their destruction at the end of the Tribulation when the Armageddon armies are about to totally overrun it. They haven’t figured that out yet despite God getting them out of Egypt, restoring them from Babylon, or causing them to come home in 1948.
The rest of us certainly can’t point fingers at them for this – just take a look at how the Gentiles have likewise refused to learn!
I agree, there is however a rescue for Israel from their plight yet for America there is no such resue!
Here we see exactly what you have said regarding Israel:
Zechariah 12:10-14; Revelation 1:7
Zechariah, chapter 14.
I would definitely add Ezekiel 38/39 to that list as well! This will bring all Israel back into the Land leaving none of them anymore behind. The Temple will be built to honor this great deliverance by the hand of God. I believe the Two Witnesses will also be present as there were Two Prophets present at the construction of both the First and Second Temples. Their foundations were also laid on the same day.
I have looked with anticipation to see this coming time when all nations will acknowledge the sovereignty of God over His Land and His people Israel. It is from that point when all things will dramatically change for Israel and the world.
