I believe the Holy Spirit speaks to those who are attuned to God’s prophetic Word and who are doing as Jesus commanded: “What I say unto one, I say unto all. Watch” (Mark 13:37).
The Lord is speaking dramatically at the moment: “Watch! Watch the issues and events that are exploding all around you at the moment!” This is the message we’re receiving each minute of the day.
Therefore, it’s time for a “Scanning a Fearful Future” update.
Jesus said when we see all these “things” begin to come to pass, we’re to look up in anticipation of Him coming to take us home (Luke 21:28 and John 14:1–3).
These “things” we’ve been seeing come to pass for some time are now flowing in like the end-times flood Daniel described (Daniel 9:27). Great deception is in every direction, with deceivers at the highest levels of governments and religious circles prevaricating with power straight from the father of lies. The latest deception being foisted by Lucifer’s propaganda arm, the news media that assists him in his “prince of the power of the air” position while he spreads lies that mesmerize, involves the president of the United States.
Whether the shooter who almost took the life of the Republican candidate was a hireling of a globalist, deep-state cabal, or was simply a young man turned into a crazed fanatic by the months and years of the media’s brain-washing hatred, the source of the evil is the same. Satan continues to do all within his power to remove the obstacles blocking him from fulfilling his plan to set himself up, through the coming Antichrist, as destroyer of God’s order of things.
While these constant attempts to bring in the Antichrist regime accelerate at every level, those with Holy Spirit discernment can also see the truth of the mighty, restraining hand of God at work through all that’s taking place.
God has promised that He will restrain evil right up until the moment believers are taken out of the way. With the Holy Spirit, who lives in every believer, ceasing the restraint of evil, the spiritual wickedness in high places of Ephesians 6:12 will have the run of the planet for a limited time.
The current battle–Lucifer’s forces versus God’s forces—is destined to become more intense by the minute. The future indeed would look fearful if not for that Great Restrainer controlling all that happens. God continues to have the evil forces in derision, as promised in Psalm 2. The Lord is almost assuredly laughing at the wicked forces of corruption that see practically every one of their plans disrupted. The following describes some of the restraining we are witnessing.
It’s important to understand that The Powers That Be (TPTB) themselves have never been so disunited and confused, incohesive and disordered.
In point of fact, all of the major implementation plans on their New World Order agenda have gone awry. Every nefarious scheme to foist a One World Government on the world community of nations has been thrown into disarray. While I don’t believe, as the article concludes, that the assassination attempt on former President Trump was a hoax, there is no doubt the wicked forces in high places, both demonic and human, continue to do all within their dark-dimensional power to bring America down in order to remove the holdup to their Great Reset. The recent (I believe) deliberately contrived massive breakdown of vast cyberspace technology, controlling, for example, airline scheduling and safety, is proof.
If you don’t know the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, when scanning the future for the terrifying things that are coming, you indeed face the prospect of a fearful exercise. You don’t have to remain outside of Christ’s protection against the uncontrolled satanic wickedness about to burst upon the world. Here again is how to be assured of safety–being kept from the time that is coming upon the world of unbelievers (Revelation 3:10).
That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9–10)

I, too, can’t figure out if the attempted assassination attempt was an actual “hit,” or if it was more of his enemies seeing circumstances fall into place to have what they have always wanted to happen and essentially issued a “Stand down,” order either directly or by manipulation and just give themselves “plausible deniability.”
What I do agree with is what Terry said – Satan is behind it all along with the globalist’s plans. the corrupted media, the attack on Israel . . . every dark and wicked thing which now parades across the world scene each day.
We can count on it to get even worse while we are still here, but it will go into warp drive once the the Holy Spirit’s restraining influence departs with us at the Rapture.
I think we’ve just about reached the end of that “beginning” which Jesus spoke of in Luke’s version of the Olivet Discourse. Hard to imagine how much longer things can go on this way without a major shakeup – and the Rapture will very likely be just that,

I saw a video this afternoon of a lovely young woman who said “It’s time to choose a side.” And boy is she right!

In frequency and magnitude, the outbreak of evil events is increasing, just as you say, Robin.
I thought the 1960’s were out-of-control times, but they pale when compared to what we’ve seen since the turn of the century.
These are indeed the days of Noah and Lot, just as Jesus said would be the case as we get deeper into end days.
This also shows us that our redemption is also near – thank God for that!
Our times are outside of our scope of experience here in the USA. We don’t have a reference point for what is happening 100% because God has been so unfathomably patient and gracious toward us, as He works out His divine plans.
But Jesus said what is coming will be the worst in human history. Imagine the wickedness and amorality in the Days of Noah and Lot, wrapped inside the tortures and horrors of the Dark Ages, and the Inquisition, all conducted through the state of starvation, slavery and fear of daily life in North Korea. That’s probably a fairly accurate assessment of the Tribulation.
Many of the Tribulation Saints will be joyfully prepared for martyrdom, knowing their destination is Heaven with Jesus, and free from their Hell on Earth existence.
I’m so very grateful the Lord has promised to spare us from that time!

Just as Paul told us that the future for believers is better than we can possibly imagine, I think the reverse is also true – the Tribulation will also be worse than what anyone, believers or secularists, can imagine.
Thankfully, as believers, we will get to experience the first option, having been spared the second.
In the past year particularly, I have been able to get into discussions with people regarding the Bible and what it says about the future in unexpected ways.
Two days ago, a representative of the phone company, probably in his early 30’s, came to my place to discuss the upgrading of my land line from copper to fiber-optics. Having worked in a place that made telephone equipment, we engaged in a lot of “shop talk.” I even showed him a few things about the old-style phone system he didn’t know.
The conversation went on to other topics including how an EMP could wipe out electrical and electronic systems – quite timely considering the instability of our world now. This progressed into what we envisioned for the future, which, naturally, gave me a chance to give my Biblical point of view.
What was gratifying was that he also was a believer and we talked about the Rapture. He was unsure as to the timing so I get him the evidence of it being Pre-Trib. I expect I gave him something to think about.
It has been really neat having these doors unexpectedly open up and I am very pleased that I have had these opportunities. I am honored to be able to do this.

Interestingly, I’ve been reading Romans again and found this:
{5:8} But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. {5:9} Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
There we have another confirmation that we are not destined for wrath (1Thessalonians 1:10; 5:9), which once more supports the Pre-trip Rapture scenario.
As we move further into these last days, Paul’s wisdom is becomes more and more timely – and well worth reading again.
God has given us many assurances throughout scripture that saints in the last days will not be subjected to His wrath in the Tribulation.
he didn’t promise we wouldn’t see hard times or persecution, those are likely coming. But we won’t be here for any part of the Big 7.
I’m praying that things are seemingly normal until He calls us. But as we get closer to the election, and Israel in a major war, along with financial collapse and now the WHO having power to shut us down by claiming a pandemic, it seems we may have some rough waters ahead.
All will be forgotten when we are with the Lord in eternity, so our future remains VERY bright!
You are right. Indications is that it will be “business as usual” right up the the Rapture. The added condition I see is “accepted evil” being a significant component of that “business.”
The sorts of things not only allowed these days but praised would have put its purveyors either in an asylum or prison not so long ago.
The “Bizarro World” we live in now that didn’t exist back then has become a twisted reality today.
I’m will be more than happy to leave it to all those left behind that have been pushing for this – and I don’t think it’ll take long for many of them come to regret it.
