Last-Days Lawlessness and Power

In 1887, in a series of letters to Bishop Creighton about the moral issues of writing history about the Inquisition, British historian Lord Edward Acton wrote, “Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely.” His understanding of the human psyche bordered on prescient, it seems, considering the all-out quest for power that saturates the American political culture at present.

Former US Secretary of State Dr. Henry Kissinger famously said: “Power is the ultimate aphrodisiac.” Growing up in Germany as a boy, because of lawlessness among governmental leaders, he became pessimistic about human nature, skeptical about the inevitability of progress, and deeply committed to the values of order and stability. To these ends, Kissinger viewed power, not moral ideals, as the driving force of history. (This according to “Henry Kissinger and the Seductions of Power,” Iowa Capital Dispatch, https://iowacapitaldispatch.com.)

In America, at this late moment of this Age of Grace, we certainly have to consider Dr. Kissinger’s viewpoint, brought about from his experience in the power struggle he witnessed early in his native country. Stability, in this world of lawlessness, in reality, comes not from moral ideals, but rather from power. There is no reasoning from a morally correct position that will calm the paid-for rage/chaos that has swept the streets of Los Angeles, San Francisco, and other cities. The organized No Kings rioters claim they’re protesting the Trump administration’s use of ICE (the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement) to carry out raids against those who have illegally entered America.

While the violent rioters are held up as bastions of righteous cause by mainstream news media, and the Trump administration is falsely accused as authoritarian and an evil wielder of power, the lawlessness expands to what looks to be prophetic levels.

Jesus, in the Olivet Discourse, told about how things will be as His return nears:

And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. (Matthew 24: 12 NKJV)

To my way of seeing this, in an important sense, the Lord’s words could be taken that the lawlessness being demonstrated to champion illegals staying inside America stems from the absence of love for this nation as founded. I realize much more is involved in the meaning of Jesus’ prophecy here, but there is an undeniable coldness in the way the vicious rioters throw at police and ICE agents frozen bottles of water and chunks of concrete taken from curbs they’ve sledgehammered, in addition to the property they loot and damage at every opportunity.

It is telling of just how appropriate it might be to consider Jesus’ prophecy for this particular time, because almost half of the members of the US House of Representatives and the US Senate either back the lawlessness by supporting the rioters, or, at the very least, offer no condemnation.

This is because one political party has demonstrated time and time again that power is what they seek above all else. They want to swell the voting base with illegals—almost all of whom will support them—no matter the cost to other, legitimate, citizens. Their aim is to garner all power into their political party. Love for country and lawful conduct within government and society is out the window with this party. In this ideology, they’re in agreement with the ideology that sparked the 1917 revolution in Russia: “The end justifies the means.”

To those on the totally reprobate political left in America today, power is indeed the ultimate aphrodisiac.

Indeed, as Lord Acton presciently said, “power corrupts.” And they—the leftists—seek absolute power, and at any price—even to the undoing of the document that gave us a constitutional republic…the American government that Benjamin Franklin told someone the founders had given we the people (adding, “If you can keep it”).

The lawlessness we witness taking place on an increasing level hourly is but another ingredient that adds to the last-days prophetic puzzle. It is a large part of “all these things” our Lord told us to look for at the moment He is about to come for us in the Rapture:

And when you see all these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your head, for your redemption is drawing near. (Luke 21:28)

Jesus will soon return to this unlawful, politically corrupt planet to establish righteous rule and lawful conduct among earth’s inhabitants. It will take His omnipotent power to bring about His millennial (thousand-year) reign.

But it is His power that can bring about a change in the minds and spiritual hearts of humankind even now, amidst this current time of lawlessness and chaos. He can take away the sinful, destructive thoughts, thus the evil actions, of each person who will receive His grace gift of salvation.

Here again is how to receive that gift that renews the mind and dispels lawlessness while empowering with God’s righteousness:

That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9–10)

Rapture or Rupture

For immediate posting

Author’s note: Events we are witnessing revolving around God’s chosen nation, Israel, speaks to my spirit in ways I’ve not sensed to this point. Christ’s call to His Church must be very near indeed.

It is time as never before to look up and lift up our heads, for our redemption (the Lord Jesus Christ) is drawing near.  He is, I believe, on the very cusp of stepping out onto the clouds of Glory to call to Himself all believers of this Church Age–those alive and those who have already passed into His presence.

I heard again this week an interview between Scottish Christian broadcaster Sheila Walsh and Dr. David Jeremiah regarding the Rapture. This and the likely prophetic import of things happening surrounding Israel prompted me to again post this article, which was previously posted January 3, 2022.

Rapture or Rupture

Twenty something years ago, Pat Robertson was on his network, Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN). I remember him saying in an almost amused, mocking tone that there would be no Rapture of the church. He declared that if that were to happen, it would completely disrupt all of the human condition across the world.

Planes would be crashing, cars would be wrecking, trains would run wild, and destruction of every sort would take place in such a moment. That’s not going to happen, he said. There will be no Rapture. He implied rather that there will be a “rupture” of all culture and society across the world. The Tribulation would be the implosion that wrecks everything, rather than the explosion a so-called Rapture would cause.

I remember distinctly Pat talking with his then co-host Sheila Walsh, the Scottish Christian broadcaster. As a side note, I presume Sheila has since moved on from agreeing with Mr. Robertson and his dismissing the pre-Trib Rapture “theory,” as he called it. I’ve heard her just within the past year on air with Dr. David Jeremiah, who teaches solidly on the pre-Trib Rapture of the church. She seemed to agree totally with all he said on the prophetic topic.

Over the years, there has been banter coming from those who adamantly hold that the pre-Trib Rapture is a myth. These sometimes use the word “rupture” to sneer at the idea of a Rapture, which we believe is Bible truth as taught by the Apostle Paul—and, by the way, by the Lord Jesus as well. He said the following as recorded by the Apostle John.

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (John 14:1–3)

In these words of the Lord we are told, I’m convinced, the same as the Apostle Paul foretells.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. (1 Thessalonians 4:16–17)

For all the fun-making against pre-Trib Rapture and those of us who believe it to be the next catastrophic intervention by Christ into human affairs, they can’t erase these powerful promises. That is, they can’t without spiritualizing and allegorizing as they make their case. They have to conclude that neither Jesus nor Paul meant what they said in a literal sense.

There is, however, a biblically prophetic passage that speaks, I believe, of a rupture. It is a key prophecy that will take place immediately after the Rapture of the Church. As a matter of fact, we’ve seen this rupture beginning for some time. It will be the tear in the fabric of this world system that will rip civilization the way Mr. Robertson once feared.

The prophet Zechariah forewarned of this coming rupture.

And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. (Zechariah 12:3)

The prophet is saying here that when the world takes on Jerusalem and Israel–God’s chosen city and nation—it will be a load too heavy to lift. They will be injured severely, or ruptured, in their attempt to remove the city and nation from being in the place where God put them.

We’ve seen almost daily leaders from countries surrounding modern Israel declaring they will destroy the tiny Jewish state. Those such as Nasser and Sadat have tried to do so. Israel not only remains, but is now in a stronger position than ever, even though constantly threatened.

Antichrist and his juggernaut will finally manage to invade Israel, following all of Israel’s surrounding enemies being destroyed in the Gog-Magog attack of Ezekiel 38 and 39.  But the man of sin will, too, be severely injured and ultimately bound in chains and removed to eternal punishment. Israel will become the chief nation of the entire world during the Millennium—Christ’s thousand-year reign on planet earth.

Thankfully, all who accept Christ now, this side of the Rapture, will not endure the rupture the whole world will suffer when God again begins dealing with His chosen people, the Jews.

Here again is how to avoid being part of that future injury—that rupture—that will condemn the soul to eternity apart from God.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9–10)

However Positive, God’s Golden Age Will Not Come About Through Efforts Made In Washington D.C. :: By Jan Markell

If you listen to conservative media—which I do, by the way, and appreciate much of it—we are entering a “golden age.” Those who understand the concept of the Millennial reign of Jesus Christ realize that it is the true golden age. But, that is not what the news analysts are referring to!

Their perspective is that the dumpster fire of the previous administration, who thought about evil continually, is in the rearview mirror. Righteous people didn’t think they could be shocked and re-shocked with the debauchery of the left, but each day’s rundown of offenses were worse than the previous. When you have a Romans 1 mentality, you just think evil continually.

The leftist cabal had been drowning in evil and when voted out of office, they received an appropriate smackdown. But they are by no means on permanent hold. They are licking their wounds. They are plotting and scheming and planning a comeback. But in the meantime, at least in Washington D.C., they have some appropriate chains on and they have some restrictions.

Hundreds of evil outfits are being shut down through the efforts of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Yes, Elon Musk has troubling aspirations that include brain chips that sound Tribulationesque, and no watcher of the times is ignoring these things.

So, Is God’s End-Time Agenda on Hold?

So, is this a respite? Maybe a reprieve? Has Satan’s agenda been put on hold? Is the rapture now on hold? Do you think that the globalists are going to relax and willingly turn their agenda over to President Donald Trump? Do you think that Klaus Schwab & Associates plan to take a four year hiatus and go quietly into the night? Do you think that Yuval Noah Harari will fade away because he acknowledged that a Trump victory would be the “end of the global order?”

To all of the above, a resounding no way!

Let’s always remember that God’s agenda never pauses. It is never on hold. If we think He is not acting— that He is not raising the curtain on the last act—it is only because He wants more to be saved. He doesn’t employ stall tactics.

God’s plan of the ages began before time began. It is never early. It is never late. It is always right on time. The “birth pang” markers we are to watch for have not diminished! North Carolina hurricane destruction was a recordsetter. Los Angeles fire destruction was unprecedented in modern history. They were warnings that time is running out.

The Powerbroker’s Goal Is Still One World

I appreciate similar thoughts by author and commentator Jonathan Brentner who states, “While it might be tempting to think there’s been a pause in the mad rush of events leading up to the start of the Tribulation period, the elite powerbrokers of our world remain busy. They are working behind the scenes to quickly set the stage for when they can openly enslave the world under their domain.”

Brentner additionally says, “It’s tempting to think that way. I have found myself wondering if perhaps there’s been a pause in the parade of events leading to Jesus’ soon appearing. However, two thoughts bring me back to reality.

“First, I remember Jesus’ assertion that the fulfillment of Bible prophecy will happen at the time sovereignly set by the Father (Matthew 24:36Acts 1:7). God knows the precise time when He will send His Son to get His Bride and bring her to glory. He already took into consideration all that we see happening today, when He long ago set the time of our departure from this world.

“Second, I’m aware that a strong undercurrent in world affairs remains, which after the rapture will directly lead to the Antichrist’s covenant with Israel, which will mark the beginning of the sevenyear Tribulation for the world. The lawlessness of those who seek to destroy our nation remains on full display.”

Brentner concludes, “So, does that mean that world events are accelerating toward Jesus’ appearing? I prefer to put it this way: the stage-setting for the future oneworld government has not ceased or slowed down in any way.”

“In the Last Days, Evil Will Wax Worse and Worse”

Evil never takes a break. It never re-groups. It never gathers in a huddle to plot and scheme. It just keeps charging forward. It says in II Timothy 3:13 that “evil waxes worse and worse.” And it has escalated exponentially since October 7, 2023, when Hamas invaded southern Israel and perpetrated genocide on Israel.

In March, Islamic radicals stormed through Syria, wiping out religious minorities, including Christians. The same is happening in parts of Africa.

Most often the targets are “people of the book”—Jews and Christians. This is a sure sign that we are not in any kind of “golden age.” The people in Ukraine have no “golden age.” Nor do the targets of Haitian gangs, nor victims of Islamic terror in parts of Europe who believe in open borders.

Further evidence is that following the October 7 slaughter, the world cheered for Hamas. What a perfect illustration of evil being called good (Is. 5:20); of an upside-down world under the sway of the evil one.

God’s Golden Age

We are all thankful for the many actions of the new administration to rein in evil, waste and corruption! But even better news than this is that God has given us a wonderful promise: Jesus is preparing a place for us and will take us there to be with him forever: “In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And when I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way where I am going.” (John 14:2-4)

After that seven-year time period, we return to a golden age back on earth—the Millennium. It’s not perfection, but it’s good enough to be called a golden age. Kids can play near snakes and the animal kingdom even loves one another.

So, get excited when there is talk about a coming “golden age,” but keep it in the right context and in its rightful place in prophecy. It doesn’t come about through any efforts in Washington, D.C. Rather, thanks to the Hand of God, in His timing.

Prophecy from Your Pulpit? Book a Lamb & Lion Evangelist!

Our mission at Lamb & Lion Ministries is to proclaim the soon return of Jesus Christ. We do not believe it is possible to know the date when He will return, but the signs of the times indicate that we are living in that season. And, we believe when Christians become excited about Jesus’ return, they embrace a tremendous hope that motivates them to holy living and evangelism. We love to energize the Church with this hope and do so in a number of different ways.

For one, we’re primarily a television evangelism ministry whose program Christ in Prophecy is aired all over the world. Two, we write a lot about Bible prophecy in our books, and our magazine and blog. Three, we attempt to connect the younger generations to the Gospel through our short-form videos and digital media. And, four, we travel all over the world preaching the hope of Christ’s return at church services, Bible conferences, Israel tours, and webinars.

Pastors, would you like to plan a Bible prophecy conference at your church? We can help! Our evangelists can fit such a conference into Sunday services, over a weekend, or across several nights during the week. And, we can adjust the topics to the specialized interests of your congregation.

Our ministry has four outstanding teachers and preachers. One is Tim Moore, our Senior Evangelist and the host of Christ in Prophecy, and the other is Nathan Jones, our Internet Evangelist and co-host. Our team has two additional evangelists, Dave Bowen and Vic Batista. Our evangelists can speak on a wide variety of prophetic topics and use extensive PowerPoint presentations when speaking.

We are a faith ministry, so we have no fees for our services. We expect only that the church will cover our expenses and provide a love offering to Lamb & Lion Ministries.

We’re looking forward to sharing with you what the Bible calls that “blessed hope” about the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. So please, pastors, contact us and we’ll work together to set up a Sunday service or Bible conference at your church. Maranatha!

The Jeremiah of Our Time

by Jan Markell

I’m not waiting for the Antichrist. I’m waiting for Jesus Christ. And that is due, in part, to the ministry of Hal Lindsey. His books and television program carefully outlined Dispensational Theology, also called left behind theology—named after the famous book series.

As a young adult, I found life confusing until someone handed me a copy of The Late Great Planet Earth.  After reading it in a day, followed by a trip to Israel, I could press on in life and enter the ministry. I would go on to devour dozens of books and follow solid Bible teachers who promoted eschatology or Bible prophecy.

Time Magazine called Hal Lindsey the Jeremiah of our time. His classic book sold 35 million copies, but other books and TV productions influenced millions more. I believe his two greatest contributions were his teaching that:

·    Israel is the key to our past, present, and future. Most churches today marginalize this, focusing on church growth or are steeped in other theologies such as Amillennialism. Only Dispensationalism explains what the Bible teaches: The King is coming again, and Israel is the key to understanding this.

·    As believers, we should be awaiting Jesus Christ, not the Antichrist. Millions are caught up in strange rapture-timing theologies that offer no blessed hope, which is taught in the Bible (Titus 2:13)! Jesus is coming at any minute. Only Dispensationalism explains the imminency of the Lord’s return with Israel as the centerpiece!

I brought Hal to the Twin Cities in 2004 and 2005. He told me at that time that it was his goal in the 1960s to write a book on the end times that was easy to understand. When his book appeared in 1970, the only books available were written by theologians and for theologians!

They were terrific, but the man on the street was lost.

Dwight Pentecost’s Things to Come was a classic back then, but it was 500 pages and way too scholarly. Without a seminary degree, readers were lost and frustrated.

Once Hal opened the door for end-time discussion, two- dozen writers followed him, including Chuck Missler, Tim LaHaye, Dave Hunt, Ron Rhodes, and many more. Publishers were eager to help readers understand how the last days played out. And how many of you were impacted by the Left Behind book series I referenced written by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins?

These topics have been discussed now for 23 years on Understanding the Times Radio. I am so thankful for the scholars who went before me, helping us non-scholars to understand these key theological issues and make sense of what is often senseless! The rise of lawlessness, the rush to globalism, the decline of character as outlined in II Timothy, and so much more as the birth pangs have exploded in recent years.

There is a run-up to the Tribulation and we are in it, but who knew before we learned from such incredible men? There is prophetic stage-setting, which is so prominent here at the end of the Church Age!

Pastors, please, with whatever time we have left before a trumpet sounds, teach your congregation these truths. The urgency of the hour demands it.

Find this outstanding summary of the life and effectiveness of Hal Lindsey here. Read testimonies from Ron Rhodes, Tom Hughes, David Jeremiah, Jonathan Brentner, and more.

Hal Lindsey was a flawed human being like all of us, and I could slip in details, particularly of the eccentric man I featured twenty years ago here in the Twin Cities. I’d rather not. I just want to say thank you to him for opening my eyes.

I had no idea I was here on assignment to also help others in this last days’ countdown to the rapture of believers! And to help get many into the ark of salvation because when all is said and done, Jesus really is coming!

Perhaps today. Thank you, Hal, for encouraging me to prepare so many for this journey!

The late, great Hal Lindsey :: From the Rapture Ready Family

Two days after his 95th birthday, on Monday, November 25, the Lord called Harold Lee Lindsey home. The prolific author and beloved “grandfather” of the modern Bible Prophecy movement leaves a loving family and a gargantuan fan base—although he would encourage us by pointing to Jesus Christ rather than himself.

Born in Houston, Texas, weeks after the Stock Market Crash of 1929, Lindsey earned a Master of Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary, and later worked with Campus Crusade for Christ in Southern California for about a decade before authoring one of the biggest-selling books of the 20th century, The Late Great Planet Earth. Written in the immediate aftermath of the Six Day War, the book electrified the country and led to many people studying eschatology. It has sold more than 35 million copies worldwide and has been translated into 50 languages.

No one could have anticipated such a sales tsunami, but the landmark title set the stage for increased evangelism and millions of people eagerly awaiting the Rapture. Lindsey went on to host the International Intelligence Briefing and the Hal Lindsey Report for years.

After decades of pushback from mostly mainline Bible scholars, Dispensationalism made a roaring comeback in the United States, propelled most by Lindsey’s influence. Scores of testimonies buttress the view that Hal Lindsey’s emphasis on evangelism and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is the real point of studying prophecy.

Lindsey’s influence also extended to a flood of Christian tour groups to Israel. Interest in the Jewish state, in the light of prophecy fulfilled as the Jewish state began to repopulate the ancient homeland, swelled to unprecedented levels. As he wrote:

“The State of Israel may seem normal. But it’s not. It is no more normal than the restoration of a withered hand or the parting of a vast sea. Israel is not normal. Israel is a miracle!”

“Prophecy authenticates the message,” he liked to say.

Lindsey gave his personal testimony at a prophecy conference in 2013. He said that after a riverboat accident, he picked up a Bible and began to read. The book of Acts particularly caught his attention and he yearned for fellowship with believers. He was invited to a gathering at Rice University in the 1950s.

“There are turning points in every life and you are blessed if you don’t miss them,” he said.

After the Rice event—which, incredibly, dealt with Bible prophecy—Lindsey went back home and began studying his “copious” notes, along with his Bible.

“I stayed up all night. Being a draftsman, I drew a map and looked at the power blocs [in the international community]. I became consumed studying prophecy.” He said that after work each day, he’d go home and study the Bible for up to eight hours. His eyes were then opened to the great battle between good and evil. Lindsey saw that Marxism was becoming popular at Berkeley by 1960, when he started with Campus Crusade for Christ. His passion for the remainder of his life was evangelizing the lost.

This week, he heard the sublime words, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”

See you soon, brother!

The Case for Children Raptured

Since my time in the Seventh Street Bible Tabernacle in Pekin, Illinois, where I was saved at age 6, I’ve known that all children who haven’t reached the “age of accountability” will go to be with Jesus at the Rapture.

Yes. I was taught that from the time of the flannel-board productions presented by my teachers. Some would criticize that I and others in my little classrooms in the basement of that church were “indoctrinated”—in effect, brainwashed into believing all children will go to Christ at some point that would never eventuate (the Rapture).

I can understand the criticism. However, I am no longer a child; rather, I’ve come to be governed and taught by the Holy Spirit about the Rapture and the very character of the Heavenly Father.

That inculcation has welded into my spirit the iron-clad assurance that: 1) there is coming that “twinkling of an eye” moment Paul the apostle prophesied in1 Corinthians 15:5155 and 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18, and 2) all children who haven’t reached the age of accountability will go to Jesus in that great event.

The age of accountability, of course, is the time in a person’s life when they’ve reached the cognitive and spiritual ability to understand God’s salvation message. The individual, having reached that ability, must, after being prompted by the Holy Spirit to come to Christ, either accept Christ and His sacrifice on Calvary’s cross or choose to reject that grace gift of redemption from sin.

This age is different among individuals, and only God knows what it is and at that time prompts them through His Holy Spirit to make that decision. This prompting often takes place many times throughout a person’s life. But that, too, is God’s grace and mercy at work in calling people to salvation. It is imperative that the person receiving the prompting accepts Christ at the earliest possible time. This is because longevity of life is not promised. The only thing we’re promised is that God wants all people to accept His grace gift of salvation:

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9)

At the Rapture, Christ will take all who are saved through belief in His sacrifice into the clouds of Glory. All children, before they’ve reached the age of accountability, will go to the Lord in the Rapture because they’re considered innocent in God’s eyes, in terms of not being mature enough to make the decision necessary for redemption from sin.

With that groundwork laid, we turn now to the reason for the title of the commentary. The character, the heart, of God makes it clear that all who are without sin (because they’ve accepted Christ and His sacrifice on the cross) will escape the terrors of the Tribulation, the last seven years of judgment leading to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ (Revelation 19:11). This grace, as stated, covers all children not yet mature enough to accept Christ. But it also becomes clear, when examining these God-rejecting times on this fallen planet, that treatment of children by the evil, wicked purveyors of child abuse through abortion and molestation will be a major reason all children will be taken to Christ at that stunning moment of Rapture.

We’ve read report after report of the most egregious such abuse. The millions upon millions of babies murdered in their mothers’ wombs or murdered right after birth must be considered by Heaven’s justice system among the most heinous activity perpetrated by the God-rejecting world. The sex trafficking, transsexual mutilations, and other satanic treatment of the most innocent among us will doubtless be a major reason for the wrath of God to fall upon rebellious earth dwellers, as the KJV terms people of that era.

The following is mild in comparison to things that have been inflicted on the children as mentioned above. But it is a report that nonetheless frames the case for children and the Rapture.

Two Christian families have filed a lawsuit against two teachers, a principal and the Encinitas Union School Board in California for requiring their fifth-grade sons to participate in classroom instruction aimed at kindergarteners on the topic of gender ideology.

Having already encountered gender ideology material back in May as part of the fifth-grade health class program at La Costa Heights Elementary School, both families were notified in advance of the lesson and were able to opt their children out. However, when almost identical instruction was incorporated into the “Kinderbuddy” program—a mentorship program intended to foster healthy relationships between fifth-graders and kindergartners—no advance notification was offered, and parents had no chance to opt out their children.

As part of the Kinderbuddy program, the fifth-graders were instructed to meet with their kindergarten “buddy” and watch a video based on the book titled My Shadow Is Pink, in which a young boy questions his gender. In the story, the boy’s father says his son’s gender identity is just a phase, but eventually he abandons his prior beliefs and encourages his son to wear a dress. Following the video, the students were compelled to go outside and make the kindergartener choose a color for his shadow, representing his gender identity.

When the families voiced their objections, the school’s principal and the district superintendent said the curriculum would not be changed unless the state legislature were to require it, and the school would not offer opt-outs for the curriculum. The families’ lawsuit points out that under California law, families with religious objections to gender identity instruction should receive notice and have an opportunity to opt out of it.

The families are represented by First Liberty Institute and the National Center for Law & Policy, organizations that specialize in protecting both religious liberty and the parental right to transparency from schools. (“Lawsuit Filed after School Forces Fifth Graders to Recruit Kindergarteners into Gender Ideology,” Decision Magazine, October 30, 2024)

While all children of this Age of Grace will be removed at the time of Rapture, other children will be born during the Tribulation. Most will die, and none of those born during that horrendous time will reach the age of accountability. They will go to Heaven at their death or will go into the Millennium as citizens of Christ’s Kingdom.

God’s unassailable righteous character in receiving all children into His presence for eternity is assured!

Post-Rapture Readying

Deniers and mockers who come against the pre-Trib Rapture as biblical Truth haven’t seemed to be as vociferous lately as in the relatively recent past. Or perhaps it’s just that I’ve tuned out such invective. That’s more likely the case as I’ve been intensely attuned to the stage being set for the Tribulation.

But it is also perhaps the case that the deniers and mockers of the pre-Trib Rapture are themselves now seeing so much of the same stage-setting as myself that they are certain they’re right. They don’t think it’s worth their while to rail against an event they consider now relegated to insignificance because of the torrent of Tribulation-like developments.

And indeed these developments constitute strong evidence that Daniel’s seventieth week looms ominously.

I’ve written that the pre-Trib deniers and mockers don’t believe in the coming Rapture of all believers from the planet, but that Satan harbors no such denial in his iniquitous mind. He knows the Rapture is on the verge of happening. He just doesn’t know when, thus has been furiously getting his minions and all they will need to carry out his world-rending wickedness prepared for that unknown moment God has set for Christ to call the Church.

The devil has prepared the minds of fallen humanity for things to come in ways the diligent student of Bible prophecy from the pre-Trib view can discern.

For examples:

In the area of society and culture, the corruption in America and the world cannot be missed.

Practitioners of homosexuality, although a very small percentage of the populations of the U.S. and the world, now command entire governments. The heterosexuals of the nation and world must accept the Sodom-like coarsening of the cultures—and to resist brings the censure of all, including non-homosexuals. And laws have been constructed to provide punitive actions against anti-gay activism equal to those imposed upon those who violate civil rights laws.

The Luciferian imprint can be discerned in the area of religion as the devil prepares the left-behind populations of the earth for the false religious system that will be headed by his False Prophet.

The Catholic pope declares at every opportunity, for instance, that there are many ways to God and Heaven. Therefore, he, in effect, is calling the Lord Jesus Christ a liar, because Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the father except by me” (John 14:6).

Satan has governments in ferment and turmoil and the populations boiling with ethnic hatreds. And the globalist cabal of Ephesians 6:12 is becoming fully staffed and is in the process of implementing their plans for Antichrist to rule once believers disappear from the planet.

The evil one has been at work, in my view, preparing answers to the billions who will be asking what just happened when millions suddenly vanish from around them. The disappearances, including every child from conception to the age of accountability, will cause untold chaos. The world will suffer a nervous breakdown. But Satan’s man, Antichrist, will have answers to bring the peace they seek.

I write, of course, of the UFO (UAP) sightings that have become ubiquitous in these times so near the end of this Age of Grace.

I believe, as written a number of times, that all of these sightings and related phenomena are part of Satan’s stage-setting for when the Rapture occurs. “We’ve been visited by space brothers”—or something similar—will likely be the mantra to explain where the people have gone.

When the False Prophet calls down fire from Heaven in the sight of the image of Antichrist (Revelation chapter 13), it will not be these “space brothers” as claimed, but Satan and his hordes of fallen angels when they lose the battle with Michael and his angels and are thrown out of the heavenly realm for the final time.

And in the area of technology and the amazing progress being made in development of such things as artificial intelligence (AI), the devil is indeed showing his masterful planning for when the Rapture occurs.

A specific such technology is preparing the means for Antichrist and his regime of terror to keep up with every person left behind when believers are in Heaven with their Lord.

The following somewhat gives an idea of that post-Rapture readying now in process.

Cities across the United States are installing hidden surveillance cameras that track everyone, everywhere, and nobody, not even Donald Trump, is talking about this. What are the Top 10 most surveilled cities in the U.S.? We’ve got the list!

My old colleagues at World Net Daily have an interesting story up today about the city of Norfolk, Virginia. City officials have transformed Norfolk into a virtual lock-down surveillance society with more than 172 high-resolution, internet-connected cameras monitoring practically all human movement…

Multitudes of cities of all sizes across the U.S. are jumping on the technocracy bandwagon and setting up hidden surveillance cameras on every corner. They’re on light poles, bridges and overpasses, stoplights, buildings, you name it. Some are equipped with speakers so they can also listen in on what’s being said.

They claim it’s for our “safety.”…

Some abuses have already been documented, the [Institute For Fairness] said, noting just a couple of examples:

  • In Kansas, the Institute reports that officials were caught using Flock to stalk their exes, including one police chief who used Flock 228 times over four months to track his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend’s vehicles.
  • In California, several police departments violated California law by sharing data from their license-plate reader database with other departments across the country. And as is the case with other databases, these can be susceptible to hacking, which can reveal private data.

[Here’s a look at] a variety of camera types that have become ubiquitous in U.S. cities of all sizes.

  • Fixed CCTV cameras.
  • Cameras accessed through real-time crime centers.
  • Private cameras within the police force’s network.
  • Cameras on public transport facilities.
  • Traffic cameras.
  • Streetlight cameras.

Not to mention, FedEx and Amazon are also spying on you each time they make a delivery to your home…

The top 10 most surveilled cities in the US as of October 2022

Based on the number of cameras per 1,000 people, these are the 10 most surveilled cities in the U.S.:

  1. Atlanta, Georgia– 24,800 cameras for 506,811 people = 48.93 cameras per 1,000 people.
  2. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania– 28,064 cameras for 1,584,064 people = 17.72 cameras per 1,000 people.
  3. Denver, Colorado– 12,273 cameras for 727,211 people = 16.88 cameras per 1,000 people.
  4. Washington, District of Columbia– 11,441 cameras for 705,749 people = 16.21 cameras per 1,000 people.
  5. San Francisco, California– 14,266 cameras for 881,549 people = 16.18 cameras per 1,000 people.
  6. Las Vegas, Nevada– 10,208 cameras for 651,319 people = 15.67 cameras per 1,000 people.
  7. Detroit, Michigan– 8,836 cameras for 670,031 people = 13.19 cameras per 1,000 people.
  8. Chicago, Illinois– 32,000 cameras for 2,693,976 people = 11.88 cameras per 1,000 people.
  9. Portland, Oregon– 6,411 cameras for 654,741 people = 9.79 cameras per 1,000 people.
  10. Fresno, California– 4,706 cameras for 531,576 people = 8.85 cameras per 1,000 people.

(“The Surveillance State Has Arrived…And It’s Being Implemented by Our Cities and Towns,” The Gateway Pundit, Jim Hoft, Guest Post Leo Hohman, October 28, 2024)

All we see developing lends proof to the soon call of Christ to all believers. Satan is well aware that it’s about to happen. He knows God cannot lie. He believes in the pre-Trib Rapture.

How much more should we who name the Holy Name of our Lord Jesus Christ believe God when He tells us plainly that He will take us out of this soon-to-be-judged world?

Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. (Revelation 3:10)

You want to be one of those who God keeps from the terrible time of judgement that’s about to befall this God-rejecting world. Here, once again, is how to go to Christ when He calls in the Rapture:

That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9–10)

Paving Antichrist’s Pathway to False Peace

Jesus said in His Olivet Discourse, as recorded in the Gospel according to Luke: “And there shall be…upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity” (Luke 21:25b). Now, deep into 2024, it becomes increasingly obvious that peace in the Middle East is foremost on the minds of the leaders of the major world powers. Distress over the possibility, even the probability, that nuclear conflict might eventuate in the region causes perplexity of the most crucial sort.

Absence of peace in the world, and particularly in the region surrounding modern Israel, creates at this late moment in the fleeting age a vacuum into which the prophesied end-of-days leader will one day vault to power. Antichrist will climb onto a platform of peace from which to launch his most terrible campaign of conquest. We get some idea of this supernaturally imbued man’s spectacular rise and reign through the Old Testament prophet Daniel:

And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up. And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practice, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many. (Daniel 8:23–25b)

A strange, deadly peace is prophesied to serve as launching pad for the Beast, as he is termed in Revelation chapter 13.

Paul, the apostle and prophet, gave dire warning about that esoteric peace that will pervade in the days approaching the time of the end:

For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. (1 Thessalonians 5:3)

Paul said this murderous peace will come immediately following the “thief in the night” break-in upon an unsuspecting world of earth’s inhabitants. (Read 1 Thessalonians 5:1–7.) This refers to the resurrection and translation of the saints of the Age of Grace—the Rapture. The apostle, as he did in speaking of the Rapture in 1 Corinthians 15:51–55 and 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18, used personal pronouns to indicate exactly whom he was prophesying about. Concerning those alive at that future time, Paul used “we,” “us,” and “our” to indicate Church Age saints and “they,” “them,” and “those” to indicate the lost—the unbelievers—who will be left behind when the Rapture takes place.

There will be a cry for peace and safety leading up to this time of world-rending intervention by Christ, and an even more urgent demand for peace and safety following that calamitous event. I infer from my study that the left-behind people who “say peace and safety” seem to be saying also that “now we have peace and safety.” I’m convinced this is the peace of Daniel 8:25 perpetrated upon the earth by the “king of fierce countenance,” who will “by peace destroy many.”

Today, leaders of the planet’s most powerful governments consistently fret over the boiling pot the so-called Holy Land presents in threatening to again bring the nations into world war. Other potential conflicts—like the increasing military actions between Russia and Ukraine and the nuclear threats coming from Vladimir Putin—add to the fears.

But it is the building potential for all-out war between Israel and its Islamic antagonists that has the premiere diplomatic powers that be in “distress” and “perplexity.”

Particularly, it is the building potential violence between the Jewish state and a soon-to-be nuclear Iran that brings forth the cry for peace and safety. Globalist leaders meeting a week ago at the UN voted on a “Pact for the Future” that lays the foundation of a “new global order” at the center of which is the declared intention to establish world peace. It was adopted by consensus, but reluctantly so.

Like in so much going on these days, God’s hand of derision and restraint was manifest within that anti-God geopolitical body.

“No one is happy with this pact,” said Russia’s deputy foreign minister, Sergey Vershinin.

Seven countries voted against adopting the Pact: Russia, Nicaragua, Iran, Sudan, Belarus, North Korea and Syria.  Additionally, 15 countries abstained from voting, including China, Cuba, Iraq, Laos, Malaysia, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. (“UN’s Pact for the Future is adopted; it will serve the same authoritarian and profitable aims as COVID,” Rhoda Wilson, Expose, September 23, 2024)

Heaven’s hand of restraint seemed to take from the attendees’ thoughts of working together to throttle Israel’s ongoing military action in defending itself. The leaders of that globalist get-together are frustrated over the peace that eludes all efforts, finding, in particular, Israel’s leadership exasperating—even though it is Israel’s enemies such as Iran that incessantly seek to destroy the Jewish state.

But instead of pursuing their collective hate-filled goals against God’s chosen nation, their thoughts turned to self-centered individual interests for the most part.

Nonetheless, the globalist would-be masters of the world have solid ground for concern that the volatility could boil over at any time and ignite conflagration in the region surrounding Israel. During the UN summit, Iran’s president raved in a speech against Israel and lauded Israel’s enemies, but without overwhelming agreement from those listening.

But Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, continues to declare that Islamic nations will one day watch the destruction of its most-hated enemy, Israel. He is quoted on his website numerous times as saying: “Surely, the day will come when the nations of the region will witness the destruction of the Zionist regime…when the destruction happens will depend on how the Islamic nations approach the issue.”

Concerns about Israel’s objection to Iran’s nuclear development and those diplomatic elites’ frustration over not knowing what to do about the threat to regional and world peace might remind the student of Bible prophecy of another predicted situation. The current angst over Iran’s threat evokes thoughts of an apparent note of diplomatic protest that will be issued during a future Iranian (Persian) military action against Israel.

Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil? (Ezekiel 38:13)

The powers of the West, and even Saudi and others in the Middle East, will send a weak note of diplomatic protest. There will still, apparently, be an inability to deal with the Iranian (and the accompanying coalition of nations’) threat to world peace. The indecisiveness and the cry for peace and safety will ultimately bring the Beast to power. He will have the answers to foment the deadly peace people want. It will be such peace that will serve as Antichrist’s launching pad to absolute power.
