Deniers and mockers who come against the pre-Trib Rapture as biblical Truth haven’t seemed to be as vociferous lately as in the relatively recent past. Or perhaps it’s just that I’ve tuned out such invective. That’s more likely the case as I’ve been intensely attuned to the stage being set for the Tribulation.
But it is also perhaps the case that the deniers and mockers of the pre-Trib Rapture are themselves now seeing so much of the same stage-setting as myself that they are certain they’re right. They don’t think it’s worth their while to rail against an event they consider now relegated to insignificance because of the torrent of Tribulation-like developments.
And indeed these developments constitute strong evidence that Daniel’s seventieth week looms ominously.
I’ve written that the pre-Trib deniers and mockers don’t believe in the coming Rapture of all believers from the planet, but that Satan harbors no such denial in his iniquitous mind. He knows the Rapture is on the verge of happening. He just doesn’t know when, thus has been furiously getting his minions and all they will need to carry out his world-rending wickedness prepared for that unknown moment God has set for Christ to call the Church.
The devil has prepared the minds of fallen humanity for things to come in ways the diligent student of Bible prophecy from the pre-Trib view can discern.
For examples:
In the area of society and culture, the corruption in America and the world cannot be missed.
Practitioners of homosexuality, although a very small percentage of the populations of the U.S. and the world, now command entire governments. The heterosexuals of the nation and world must accept the Sodom-like coarsening of the cultures—and to resist brings the censure of all, including non-homosexuals. And laws have been constructed to provide punitive actions against anti-gay activism equal to those imposed upon those who violate civil rights laws.
The Luciferian imprint can be discerned in the area of religion as the devil prepares the left-behind populations of the earth for the false religious system that will be headed by his False Prophet.
The Catholic pope declares at every opportunity, for instance, that there are many ways to God and Heaven. Therefore, he, in effect, is calling the Lord Jesus Christ a liar, because Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the father except by me” (John 14:6).
Satan has governments in ferment and turmoil and the populations boiling with ethnic hatreds. And the globalist cabal of Ephesians 6:12 is becoming fully staffed and is in the process of implementing their plans for Antichrist to rule once believers disappear from the planet.
The evil one has been at work, in my view, preparing answers to the billions who will be asking what just happened when millions suddenly vanish from around them. The disappearances, including every child from conception to the age of accountability, will cause untold chaos. The world will suffer a nervous breakdown. But Satan’s man, Antichrist, will have answers to bring the peace they seek.
I write, of course, of the UFO (UAP) sightings that have become ubiquitous in these times so near the end of this Age of Grace.
I believe, as written a number of times, that all of these sightings and related phenomena are part of Satan’s stage-setting for when the Rapture occurs. “We’ve been visited by space brothers”—or something similar—will likely be the mantra to explain where the people have gone.
When the False Prophet calls down fire from Heaven in the sight of the image of Antichrist (Revelation chapter 13), it will not be these “space brothers” as claimed, but Satan and his hordes of fallen angels when they lose the battle with Michael and his angels and are thrown out of the heavenly realm for the final time.
And in the area of technology and the amazing progress being made in development of such things as artificial intelligence (AI), the devil is indeed showing his masterful planning for when the Rapture occurs.
A specific such technology is preparing the means for Antichrist and his regime of terror to keep up with every person left behind when believers are in Heaven with their Lord.
The following somewhat gives an idea of that post-Rapture readying now in process.
Cities across the United States are installing hidden surveillance cameras that track everyone, everywhere, and nobody, not even Donald Trump, is talking about this. What are the Top 10 most surveilled cities in the U.S.? We’ve got the list!
My old colleagues at World Net Daily have an interesting story up today about the city of Norfolk, Virginia. City officials have transformed Norfolk into a virtual lock-down surveillance society with more than 172 high-resolution, internet-connected cameras monitoring practically all human movement…
Multitudes of cities of all sizes across the U.S. are jumping on the technocracy bandwagon and setting up hidden surveillance cameras on every corner. They’re on light poles, bridges and overpasses, stoplights, buildings, you name it. Some are equipped with speakers so they can also listen in on what’s being said.
They claim it’s for our “safety.”…
Some abuses have already been documented, the [Institute For Fairness] said, noting just a couple of examples:
- In Kansas, the Institute reports that officials were caught using Flock to stalk their exes, including one police chief who used Flock 228 times over four months to track his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend’s vehicles.
- In California, several police departments violated California law by sharing data from their license-plate reader database with other departments across the country. And as is the case with other databases, these can be susceptible to hacking, which can reveal private data.
[Here’s a look at] a variety of camera types that have become ubiquitous in U.S. cities of all sizes.
- Fixed CCTV cameras.
- Cameras accessed through real-time crime centers.
- Private cameras within the police force’s network.
- Cameras on public transport facilities.
- Traffic cameras.
- Streetlight cameras.
Not to mention, FedEx and Amazon are also spying on you each time they make a delivery to your home…
The top 10 most surveilled cities in the US as of October 2022
Based on the number of cameras per 1,000 people, these are the 10 most surveilled cities in the U.S.:
- Atlanta, Georgia– 24,800 cameras for 506,811 people = 48.93 cameras per 1,000 people.
- Philadelphia, Pennsylvania– 28,064 cameras for 1,584,064 people = 17.72 cameras per 1,000 people.
- Denver, Colorado– 12,273 cameras for 727,211 people = 16.88 cameras per 1,000 people.
- Washington, District of Columbia– 11,441 cameras for 705,749 people = 16.21 cameras per 1,000 people.
- San Francisco, California– 14,266 cameras for 881,549 people = 16.18 cameras per 1,000 people.
- Las Vegas, Nevada– 10,208 cameras for 651,319 people = 15.67 cameras per 1,000 people.
- Detroit, Michigan– 8,836 cameras for 670,031 people = 13.19 cameras per 1,000 people.
- Chicago, Illinois– 32,000 cameras for 2,693,976 people = 11.88 cameras per 1,000 people.
- Portland, Oregon– 6,411 cameras for 654,741 people = 9.79 cameras per 1,000 people.
- Fresno, California– 4,706 cameras for 531,576 people = 8.85 cameras per 1,000 people.
(“The Surveillance State Has Arrived…And It’s Being Implemented by Our Cities and Towns,” The Gateway Pundit, Jim Hoft, Guest Post Leo Hohman, October 28, 2024)
All we see developing lends proof to the soon call of Christ to all believers. Satan is well aware that it’s about to happen. He knows God cannot lie. He believes in the pre-Trib Rapture.
How much more should we who name the Holy Name of our Lord Jesus Christ believe God when He tells us plainly that He will take us out of this soon-to-be-judged world?
Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. (Revelation 3:10)
You want to be one of those who God keeps from the terrible time of judgement that’s about to befall this God-rejecting world. Here, once again, is how to go to Christ when He calls in the Rapture:
That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9–10)
A longtime friend of mine just let our circle of friends know that their son, in his mid-30’s, just ‘died suddenly.’ They are understandably devastated. Mind you, this is a loving, supportive, responsible, yet ‘New Age’ family. It’s all about love, spirituality, and higher powers in their family.
I am devastated for them. They know about the gospel, but feel it is “too restrictive.” It is hard to comfort those who do not know Jesus as Lord. And I can’t tell lies to them, saying things like ‘he’s in a better place’ so rather, I will be honest in telling them how sorry I am for their loss.
There is no comfort or hope without Christ.
Most of those who are left behind after the Rapture will be deceived because they do not love the truth. Yet, it is comforting to know that God has promised there will be revival like never before in history, and multitudes will be saved by Jesus when we are gone.
What incredible mercy the Lord has promised us in knowing we will not have to witness the horrible period of the Tribulation.
Just witnessing my friend’s loss is very difficult. To have to endure the massive deaths which are coming, is far more than most of us could bear.
Thank you Lord Jesus for your grace and mercies, to you goes all the praise.
Maranatha!
I would have not a clue as to what to say to give people in this situation any comfort. If the young man never accepted Jesus before his last breath, he is lost forever.
Now this is pure speculation on my part, but I wonder if just before the moment of death, people who rejected Jesus are given one last chance, something in the manner of the repentant thief. For instance, I’d like to think this is true for Jews who believe in Jehovah but just couldn’t make that last step of faith to believe in Jesus. Perhaps they will at the very end.
As for people who absolutely have delighted in sin all their lives, they may have already burned their bridges.
As for this article, Terry certainly gave plenty of evidence to suggest our departure is near. As far as I can see, no new technology has to be invented to make Revelation 13 possible. In fact, it has already become part of the “business as usual” pattern that will precede the Rapture. So has the evil of both Moses’ and Lot’s respective societies with the acceptance and promotion of deviant behavior which is now so bad that kids are being pulled into it.
I just can’t see God allowing this to go unchecked and unpunished much longer.
There is no comfort to be given to those who have rejected Jesus. Which makes the death of non-believers the greatest of tragedies. And yet we know most people we know will be lost, cast into outer darkness for all of eternity. It is too horrible to imagine.
I so very much hope we are called up to Heaven soon. Even with some comfort and peace in my heart, knowing that the corrupted, evil O’Biden administration is nearly finished (we hope), I’d far prefer to be with Jesus. Nothing here compares to what we have with Him, in eternity.
I think the election of Donald Trump, the Republicans gaining control of the Senate, and possibly the House gives America, and maybe the world, a temporary reprieve. I thank God for this.
We know how history must go but I think we’ve been granted a Ninevah Moment. I hope believers will make the best of it before our departure – it may be the last opportunity for us to do so.
I agee, every day we are here, more are being saved. He has shed His grace upon us and for however long we remain, we must give Him all the praise and glory.
I’m in Revelation again in my daily bible reading. The parts that are awful make me want to look away; I know they will come as sure as the sunrise did this morning. But, all the parts where the Saints are celebrating and praising the Lord together with the holy angels in Heaven thrill my soul!
Eyes on Jesus!
It seems that a lot of people figure the Rapture will occur at a time of great turmoil. I used to think so myself. But upon reflecting upon the days of Noah and Lot, it was, as Terry James often said, “business as usual” before God stepped in.
Since the election of Donald Trump, it seems that things have calmed down in America. Perhaps even internationally as well. Matter of fact, I am really surprised that the Left hasn’t stirred up all kinds of trouble and protests. Maybe the Wokesters are still stunned by the magnitude of their losses. Or maybe they see how outnumbered they are. I won’t entirely rule out future actions but they may be “in the shadows” kinds of things instead of overt acts.
Still, I get the impression that things are perhaps more stable than they have been in the last four years. Israel also is now more secure than it was only a year ago. The Ezekiel 38 fulfillment may also have been pushed into the future for now.
Maybe this eye of relative normalcy in the middle of the storm is the exact time that favors the Rapture, when even believers may not be expecting it quite as much as they were only a month ago.
Maybe we are even closer to the Rapture now that we can even imagine!
The same thoughts have come into my mind as well.
For sure the deal-makers are lining up. People are feeling hopeful (myself included) but what will come, only God knows for sure. When the Abraham Accords were being signed, many in the evangelical community were certain that was ‘it.’
Right now the focus, for me at least, is not reattaching to this world. I’ve completely given up on it over the past 4 years, and believe God intended that for us. This has been a gift in so many ways, not the least of which makes it easier to discern truth from lies.
There is a meme making the rounds that says “You can’t vote your way out of the Book of Revelation.” Isn’t that the truth?! And, I loudly declare “I don’t want to” because Jesus makes it clear His Church won’t be here for the horrible parts. We will be safe, and filled with unimaginable joy and peace in His presence. The world still continues to crumble around us, but the Rapture will shock the world into global submission, awareness and repentance for many, and a nightmare of unimaginable suffering for those who reject God.
Satan is undoubtedly regrouping and moving forward with his plans. If I knew Trump would win, he knew it too, and he’s planned for it. He is an incredibly intelligent, formidable adversary, and he knows his time is near…he will bring the next round of evil in a big way. God is sovereign, knows everything and will use it for good for those of us who love Him and are called according to His purposes.
Thinking things through, we could go on for decades, back and forth, until God says ‘enough!’ But I don’t believe He brought the world this far solely to wake people up. There is a day and an hour that the LORD determined before the foundation of the world to initiate the final 7 years, and IMHO, it is very near. I believe there is a gap but it is very small, likely not more than 6-8 weeks between the Rapture and the signing of the covenant. (Obviously that is only my opinion/intuition, I can’t support it with scripture.)
As Paul said in Romans 13:11-14
11-And do this, understanding the occasion. The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, for our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. 12-The night is nearly over; the day has drawn near. So let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. 13-Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. 14-Instead, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the desires of the flesh.
Maranatha!
I agree with you, Robin, except that maybe the election results may have come as a surprise to the devil. As powerful as he is, he is not omniscient – which is why he always has had an Antichrist candidate in the wings throughout history, eg, Antiochus IV, Nero, Domitian, Hitler, etc. I do expect that his last candidate is already in the wings and an adult even now.
I like that Revelation meme – it is absolutely right! Whoever said that prophecy is history in advance had it right.
I also think that this present “breath-catching” time will not last. I hate to contemplate it, but, as you said, Satan will not take this loss lightly and you can be sure he is gearing up countermeasures – which may become even more extreme as he is backed into the corner.
I fear for Donald Trump’s personal safety because the Secret Service is still in the hands of an incompetent management and you can bet his enemies are even more determined to stop him – at the devil’s prodding, of course.
I, too, think the Antichrist will step onto the stage very soon after the Rapture as the world will be looking for an “Answer Man” big time to deal with the ensuing chaos. I also think the “covenant with many” may already be in its final form and he will be the one to “give it teeth” and put it into force. I figure that if the chaos is allowed to continue too long, the technological infrastructures he needs would soon be impaired beyond recovery.
I also think the Covenant has a broader reach than just a Middle East peace treaty. I think that will only be one of its provisions in establishing a global government. Think of a U.N. Plan for the Future on steroids, for example. I think it will take the desperation of the world following the Rapture to make such a treaty widely acceptable. I also think the “kings of the east” will not willingly go along and be a thorn in the Antichrist’s side, but only initially. Once he has them in his pocket, we now have the setup for the 200-million troop army to form and go to the Valley of Jezreel to try to wipe out Israel.
Of course, we know how that turns out and despite what the Bible has told us, I think that’ll come as a big surprise to Satan, the Antichrist, and False Prophet as well. Otherwise, why would they even attempt such a thing?
So, my friend, like you, I am not throwing down any anchors onto this world, either. My gaze remains even more upward!
God bless – and I’ll see you in the clouds any day now!
Lots of things to come that, thankfully, we won’t be here to see. We have a general understanding but the 50 foot view, not the 50,000 mile view, is one I’m thrilled to avoid.
There is no way we have decades, it is pretty hard to imagine another couple of years. But with the Lord, it is impossible to say.
Things are sure moving quickly, it’s hard to keep up. And that is a good thing for us, indeed!
All my bags are packed and I’m ready to go!
