China Prophetically Destined to Fail

Much talk from within the world of America’s news reporting is that China is the chief culprit in stirring much of the trouble in our nation and the world. Others, mostly from the leftist side of the political spectrum, tell a different story. China is, they say, a “competitor” but not an evil enemy.

That has been presumptive president-elect Joe Biden’s take for years. He has, through his son, the facts are revealing, worked within the communists’ state to bring about deals of various sorts. It’s been a more or less friendly competition from Mr. Biden’s perspective—and he has directly called it such.

People on the political right have and still do consider the Chinese Communist Party the greatest threat to world economic stability, if not to world peace. Those within the Trump administration who aren’t incognito (not really deep-staters) are convinced that China is by far the most profound threat America and the world will face in the immediate and distant future.

Certainly the facts, just by observing the moves of that government, prove that they are extremely aggressive in most every area of global interaction.

Consider their building of bases, creating islands in the South China Sea. We watch while they face down with aggressive naval force anyone who enters what they deem their territorial waters—waters that are clearly, according to maritime governance, international. Consider how it is that their labs from which came the dreaded virus that has, in effect, all but destroyed the Western economies through shutdowns, etc.

Prior to the Trump administration, it was the American State Department and previous administrations—both Democrat and Republican—which made agreements that enriched the communist state. Our own negotiation blunders, in effect, have helped build the Chinese communist regime into what is becoming a massive force that has prophetic overtones—that portend the destruction of much of the world’s population.

I have often believed that the Chinese will produce the chief force that will lead Asian nations as described in the following prophetic Scriptures.

And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. (Revelation 9:13–18)

The following description gives further evidence of the probable identity of these invaders from the oriental world.

And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. (Revelation 16:12)

I am convinced that we have been watching the king of these “kings of the east” preparing to lead an unstoppable force into the occidental world. The river that has been barrier to such land invasion—the Euphrates—will be dried up, either by some sort of engineering or by supernatural means. I personally believe it will be supernatural.

Those who view this great force as one to fear is on the right side of how to view China as it grows and becomes more menacing. The Biden administration, if it comes to be, doesn’t seem to have anyone on its list of advisors who even recognizes that it is an economic threat, much less a military threat.

The question is moot, really, as to whether we are seeing China develop in the prophetic sense. The “kings of the east” are scheduled to invade and at the same time kill one-third of the world’s population. Whether it’s China or any other nation or force, they are coming from that part of the world and will represent the most deadly military force in human history. It will happen, according to God’s prophetic Word.

China looks at present to be extremely successful. It is building ominously as described above. Evidence more and more shows that it is influencing politicians, governments, media, business interests, and every other American (and even world) governing entity through economic methods—–bribes, etc. Things do not look good for the upcoming days. Many fear we will one day become the slaves of a Chinese communist state.

Don’t believe it. God’s prophetic Word tells a different story. The great force from the Far East will be held back until just before the time of Armageddon. It will not take over economically, then militarily.

The developing globalist forces of the Western nations will be a blocking force as well. Antichrist’s regime will grow, as we can see in daily and hourly news stories.

China—the king of the “kings of the east”—will meet the same fate as the regime of the first beast of Revelation 13: the Antichrist. We see how all will fail in the verse that follows the description of the “kings of the east” force just above.

And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. (Revelation 16:13–14)

China, like all other anti-God forces, will meet its fate on the killing fields God has chosen.

Before that happens, all believers will be long gone from planet earth. I believe that is plainly prophesied in the following Scripture that God tagged onto the end of the prophecy about the kings of the east.

Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. (Revelation 16:15–17)

Do you see verse 15? John is given the entire timeline from Rapture to Armageddon, I believe, in this one passage. Christ says He is coming as a “thief.” This is a clear indicator of the Rapture, as found in the following:

But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. (1 Thessalonians 5:1–4)

What a promise from our Lord!

I have read that the capability to shut off or divert the Euphrates To we already exists.

      • Julia Pomeroy says:

Every person on that continent is made in the image of God and everything He made He said was ‘good’ so pray tell what it is you consider to be ‘bad’?

      • Ed Wood says:

        Hi Julia.

When God first made everything, it was not only good, it was very good.

You are also correct that all human beings are made in the image of God.

Problem is, after the Fall, the image got badly tarnished and is no longer “good.” That made it possible for people to be bad. In fact, by God’s standards, we are all “bad” (Psalms 14:4; 53:3. Romans 3:10-12). (Try putting water into an good engine’s crankcase, staring it up, and in a short time, you’ll have a bad engine, suitable only to serve as a boat anchor.)

This is exactly we are only saved by belief in Jesus and his atoning sacrifice of his perfect life for our very imperfect ones.

We have plenty of people here in America and across the world (including China) who also hate freedom and are working with Satan toward making globalist slaves out of us all right now.

That makes them “bad news” by my definition.

      • Julia Pomeroy says:

I said what I said because it is our behaviour which is bad, a human being, when born is not bad, yes, it is born in sin, but intrinsically at that moment it is not bad. I am sure there are many Chinese whose behaviour causes us to shudder BUT it is not our place to state they are ‘bad’ just that their behaviour is bad. If you state a person is ‘bad’ you are, basically, saying they are irredeemable, but if you divorce the person’s actions from the person’s being then there is always hope. This is the way I brought up my two children and they came to the Lord at the ages of 5 and 4 and now at the ages of 49 and 46 they have never, ever, departed from it. I always stressed with them, when I disciplined them that I love them uncoditionally but I do not like their behaviour sometimes.

      • Ed Wood says:

        Hello again, Julia.

I hope you are feeling well again.

Thanks for the comment. I always appreciate them.

Guess we’ll have to agree to disagree on this, though.

I think that the fruit a tree produces is indicative as to the nature of the tree it comes from, even as someone’s behavior is indicative of the kind of person that they are. (Matthew 7:17-20)

Another point, is that if that people were inherently good, they wouldn’t require discipline, right? Being “good,” i.e. doing things God’s way, would just come naturally making Jesus’ sacrifice to save us unnecessary.

On the contrary, 1 John 1:8-10 shows us what we really are and why Jesus offered up himself 2000 years ago as the only way we could be saved, because our natural inclination toward sin makes it impossible to save ourselves.

      • Child Of God says:

we are Bad because of what Adam and Eve did in the garden and world right now is the enemy’s world. I pray for Jesus to come back. If we had misunderstanding or not, I do not know but please remember that English is my second language. I will read that post again now. What I post is not always what I think. when I write a little I always sign it as child of God.

      • Child Of God says:

I know about china prophesy but now just now is a terrible regime that kills Christians or imprison them. that is all I meant.

      • Julia Pomeroy says:

Did I in any way refute that mankind does not have a sinful nature? No, of course I didn’t! But that does not make them ‘bad’ in the way that was implied in the original comment I responded to. Because if people are ‘bad’ then they are irredeemable. By the way just so you can get the flavour of what I am saying, as a child I was subjected to paedophile activity, parental beatings, verbal abuse, neglect, abandonment, rape, so I do know how people can behave but I will stick with the fact that they are made in the image of God, in His likeness He made them but, the world, the flesh and the devil have besmirched them. The only way it would be acceptable, and even then I am not so sure, to ever admit to a person being ‘bad’ is if they have been totally taken over by the enemy of our souls as the Antichrist will be. I am sad that I do not seem to be receiving any support on this, though.

I am truly afraid for our Country then I remembered the Bible Words.. it is coming. I pray for protection for our Nation a lot. Be as it will be I am free to think as I wish.biden will not last long then it could be a lit worse. What keeps me going is Jesus.

  4. Julia Pomeroy says:

I had hardly started to read your post then these words rose up out of the text and hit me square between the eyes – “president-elect”. I am amazed that an English woman has to tell you that, at the moment there is only the President, who the next President will be has not yet been revealed, LEGALLY, there is no such person as the ‘president-elect’ – I am surprised at you Terry!

  5. Julia Pomeroy says:

Sorry Terry but the Day of the Lord is not the Rapture it is the Tribulation and we will not be here to witness that. When Paul speaks about Jesus coming like a thief in the night this is referencing those who are left on earth who do not have a clue when, or even if, Jesus will return with His Bride. You can see this in verse 3 – that to which Paul refers is the Tribulation. Life might not be that brilliant at the moment but the ‘sudden destruction’ is not due to happen until after the Restrainer has been removed. Because Paul says we are not of the night we are sons of the light and he continues on and finishes with two of the most encouraging verses ever that is verses 9, 10 and 11. If anybody wishes to disagree with me, feel free but I will not be responding as I am not well at the moment.

    • Ed Wood says:

First of all, Julia, I hope you feel better VERY SOON.

I think Terry is telling us that the Day of the Lord actually begins with the Rapture and proceeds from that on through the Tribulation and ends up just before Jesus’ Second Coming as we see in the verses below.

      Here’s what Joel said:
{2:1} Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the
LORD cometh, for [it is] nigh at hand; {2:2} A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning
spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, [even] to the years of many generations.

Zephaniah’s version (1:15-18) is very similar.

      Jesus said:
Matthew {24:29} Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 24:30} And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

So, I’d say both Terry and you got it right!

  6. Ed Wood says:

Daniel {11:44} But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make
    away many.

Let’s face it, China is bad news for the free world right now and growing daily in influence and power. It will only get stronger, so much so that even the Antichrist will be afraid of them, at least initially. In fact, having to deal with them may divert him enough to provide an escape window for the Israelites to find refuge in Petra for the last 3 1/2 years of the Tribulation, thus escaping his “final solution.”

Nevertheless, it looks as if he will ultimately manage to turn China and its allies toward his side and employ their 200 million troops to cross over the dried-up Euphrates to carry out his plan to totally wipe out every Jew left on Earth. If Jesus did not come back at that time to stop it, he would succeed, but the Bible clearly indicates that Jesus will do just that.

The stage continues to be set for the final act of history as we know it.

  7. A Clark says:

I wonder if China is one of the 3 kings that must be subdued? Can’t see them going along with antichrist. Interesting developments and a very interesting year as things unfold further in 2021.

    • Ed Wood says:

      Hello, A Clark.

      You made a good point.

I think that the three kings to be subdued are three of the ten that will be in charge of the future ten-part subdivision of Earth. If one of them is in charge of Eastern Asia, which would include China, then I think what you suggest is a possiblity. Perhaps by doing this, the Antichrist incurs the anger of his supporters causing them to rebel. That, in turn, causes him to make a move against them in which he prevails and then uses their vast military resources to eventually cross a dried-up Euphrates, setting the stage for Armageddon and Jesus’ Second Coming.

I’m not saying this is definitely how it’ll go down, just suggesting that it might.

      God bless.
      Ed W.

  8. Amen and Thank you.
