Those of us who believe we are charged by the Lord to be “watchers” on the wall look at the acceleration of stage-setting for prophetic fulfillment as a wondrous thing to behold. There can be no missing the reality that we are fast approaching the dénouement of the Age of Grace.
No recent development has been more significant than the movement toward establishing a New World Order. A specific element that is most troubling within that movement is termed “the great reset.”
This term, defined within the title of a book by the same name, means the globalization of the entire world—those who intend to establish a world under a single governmental rulership must, in their view, not be thwarted. The very existence of the planet depends upon their being able to achieve their goals—goals encapsulated within what they call Agenda 21 and now Agenda 30. This “agenda” means they must accomplish all their shaping of this global order no later than the year 2030.
These would-be globalist masters don’t see the things developing as we do by looking at them through the prism of Bible prophecy. While we see things advancing toward Antichrist’s regime at an amazing and frightening pace, the globalists, such as author of the book, The Great Reset, see things as being slowed and inhibited by forces they must eliminate. That is, they must eliminate those like us, for example. And by “us,” I mean both we who are Christians pointing out their evil, and this nation, the United States of America, whose people have been steeped in basic liberty and God-given rights from a Judeo-Christian foundation for almost three centuries.
America is the single most powerful hold-up to Agenda 30 and the Great Reset. This nation, the most materially blessed in history, will not “go gentle into that good night,” as Dylan Thomas would have it. We won’t easily be made to ride bicycles, stay within fifteen-minute cities, and eat bugs instead of the foods we love, like the Great Resetters and their agenda insist we should do. There will be major pushback for as long as the nation exists as it is presently comprised.
Of course, the American, liberty-loving/enjoying constituency is under constant attack by the powers and principalities of Ephesians 6:12, both demonic and human. And that luciferian cabal is determined to take down America and eliminate all opposition to their agenda. These minions call the opposition they face “the retreat from globalization.” The following excerpt gives more detail of Klaus Schwab and his cohorts’ determination to change things so their neo-tower of Babel can be built, free of opposition.
Klaus Schwab and Theirry Malleret’s book Covid-19: The Great Reset identified “the global governance free fall” as an existential challenge, and if we do not collaborate, “we are doomed.”
“Nation states make global governance possible (one leads the other),” the book states. “The more nationalism and isolationism pervade the global polity, the greater the chance that global governance loses its relevance and becomes ineffective. Sadly, we are now at this critical juncture. Put bluntly, we live in a world in which nobody is really in charge.”…
[Managing director of the International Monetary Fund] Kristalina Georgieva suggested “concentrating on the areas where, without working together, we are doomed.” The examples she gave as “we are doomed” without globalization were “climate change,” the “green transition,” and debt…
The authors don’t explain why there is a need for an “individual reset”; they simply assumed it was a consequence of the Covid “pandemic.” However, as they did throughout the book, they used collectivism as a tool of social control. “If, as human beings, we do not collaborate to confront our existential challenges (the environment and the global governance free fall, among others), we are doomed,” they claimed…. The rise of nationalism makes the retreat of globalization inevitable in most of the world – an impulse particularly notable in the West. The vote for Brexit and the election of President Trump on a protectionist platform are two momentous markers of the Western backlash against globalization,” the two authors wrote. (“Klaus Schwab wants to stop the retreat of globalization and global governance with a new form of globalization and global governance,” Rhoda Wilson, Expose-news.com 12/19/23)
As the writer of the article further writes:
As we have said before, the term “the common good” and its ugly sister, “the greater good,” represent collectivism, which is found in socialist, communist, and fascist movements. These movements use “the common good” as a tool for social control.
This is exactly what we see happening within the American political process today. The incessant drive to bring about a Marxist collective system is at the heart of the attempted Great Reset being foisted by the human minions, assisted by the demonic of Ephesians 6:12, in my studied opinion.
I heard a senator speaking before the Senate chamber the other day. I like what he said, although I’m almost certain he didn’t realize the true import of his statement.
He said something like: “Instead of the un-American Great Reset, we need the Great Resist. We must resist this attempted Marxist-type tyranny.”
The Great Resist is precisely what is given within God’s Word as opposition to Satan and his minions’ attempts to bring to power the man of sin, Antichrist, and his regime of horrors.
“And now ye know what [restrains]that [Antichrist] might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only [the Holy Spirit] who now [Restrains] will [Restrain] until [the Holy Spirit] be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming” (2 Thessalonians 6-8).
We who know the Lord Jesus for salvation are part of the Great Resist. Pastors, listen up! Don’t resist the Great Resist. To resist the Great Resist, you are aiding and assisting those who want to bring about the Great Reset.
Preach Bible prophecy—and from the pre-Trib view. Jesus is about to intervene in the wicked affairs of humankind. The Rapture, according to all the signs and signals of the coming Tribulation raging in every direction, is about to disrupt life on planet Earth!
For those who haven’t done so, here is how to be prepared, thus be assured that you will go to Jesus Christ when He calls all believers to Himself in that stupendous moment of rescue from this judgment-bound earth.
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9-10).
Absolutely right, Terry. I think each believer, in his or her own way, has to stand against the evil that we see growing around us today. Prophecy tells us that we can’t stop it, only the return of the King of Kings will do that, but it is up to us to slow it down.
I think the fact that the so-called Great Reset hasn’t already taken place is twofold – our active and visible opposition and the spiritual resistance which is empowered by the Holy Spirit. Here are examples of each:
1) Visible opposition. This can be done in many ways such as writing letters to the editor and our political representatives, and challenging false doctrines spread by much of the modern church. when we see something we know is wrong. Speaking one-on-one with people we may encounter is another way. Supporting groups like this website, Rapture Ready, and those who are likewise standing for the truth.
2) Spiritual resistance. Yielding to the prompting of the Holy Spirit that dwells within us. When we feel that something is just “not right,” and see it confirmed, especially in God’s Word, we don’t just sit back and let it go unchallenged. Let’s ask God to give us the right words at the right time (Mark 13:11; Luke 21:15). I am certain that outside of our sight there is a corresponding battle between that same Spirit and those of Satan going on as well.
These are only brief examples, but I believe each of us can make our stand in our own way.
The thing is not to put it off. Jesus himself said:
John 9:4 {9:4} I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh,
when no man can work.
We should follow this example because the night is almost upon us.
I would add that the delay in our judgement is probably because of one thing: our support for Israel. While it’s likely going to be removed at some point, possibly after the elections, when it is, I wonder how quickly and forcefully the judgement of our nation will come. Could our backing of Israel be the last shred of restraint that remains? That said, maybe our personal focus and attention should be on each of us and our churches helping Israel with our prayer and whatever resources we can provide financially.
This is an excellent point, A. Clark, that hadn’t occurred to me. It may also be the reason the U.S. hasn’t imploded yet. However, I wonder what will happen if the anti-Israel crowd here in the government get their way and cause American support to be cut back or even eliminated?
I personally have belonged to several groups who are pro-Israel. One of them in my state monitors newspapers and actively combats “fake news” regarding Israel. I have been pleased to contribute my own letters to the editors of various papers over the years countering the false information that is so prevalent these days, especially now. I’m sure many other believers are doing things along these lines.
As you say, this may be another reason for us still being here and as long as we are, we can “occupy” until Jesus comes to take us home.
The USA, I believe, is immersed in a mixture of willful ignorance, apathy, frustration, resignation, apostasy, and surrender.
I used to agree with Terry’s comment above “There will be major pushback for as long as the nation (the USA) exists as it is presently comprised.” However, respectfully, I don’t any longer.
It seems the majority of our populace recognize our rapid descent into destruction but are unwilling/unable to resist.
Today, we have almost no men, such as our Founding Fathers, to rally a small, effective and determined army against pure and pervasive evil. If it was ever to happen, and accomplish the desired Great Resist, it should have taken place immediately after 11/4/2020. We have dallied far too long, and anything attempted now would be like stepping into a gunfight with cap guns. The Enemy knows this and licks his chops. He sees this as his time, and he is right. BTW, this is not an accusation, it is an observation. We have been so desperate to hold on to what WAS, we have forfeited any peaceful future on this earthly plane before Jesus initiates His Millennial Kingdom . Nevertheless, we can rest in knowing this is God’s sovereignty at work. It is all Plan A.
I’m in the book of Exodus again (my 6th time in 6 years) and just realized that Israel was subjected to the first 3 plagues God exacted on Egypt. But at the beginning of the 4th plague, God said He was separating Israel and the land of Goshen, from Egypt. The subsequent judgments befell only Pharoah and those who refused to heed God’s warnings. Even Pharoah’s advisors wanted him to capitulate to the God of Israel, but his heart was hardened and he wouldn’t surrender. I see a dramatic correlation to our present times.
Surely there must be people in our government who are telling this administration they are going to destroy our nation if they continue down this path. And yet the evil-doers behind our destruction have no regard for the God of Israel, or His Son. We will be Raptured for certain, but I suspect we will be here to see things get worse before we are snatched away…perhaps exponentially worse. Much like the Israelites did in Egypt. After all, even in very tough times mankind continues to marry, buy and sell, and build and harvest.
Normal is gradually disappearing (like the proverbial cooking frog in the slow boiling pot), but not until it finally disappears all at once in the Rapture.
Just like in Egypt with Moses and the Hebrews, this is all for the glory of God. Back then His glory wouldn’t be fully recognized until all the destruction and judgment reached their boiling point, or the spillover point. Even though God was protecting them and the Jews were delivered, I suspect it occurred long past what they thought they could endure.
We are hearing stories every day of the unredeemed, including Muslims and Jews, coming to saving faith in Christ. We are witnessing more and more people seriously questioning the BIG WHY behind the ongoing destruction of our nation and the world.
We can be confident that many souls are daily being saved as everything around us becomes more violent, more difficult, more insane, and more malevolently sinister. God is CLEARLY at work and so we must patiently, prayerfully, wait upon Him alone.
We must not be afraid of the one who can destroy the body, but rather reverently fear the One who can destroy (or deliver) both body and soul.
Maranatha
I, too, think the downward descent of the U.S. and the rest of the world is inevitable, just as the Bible indicates, Robin. As I said earlier, I think that the presence and resistance of believers is slowing down the process, but only Jesus can – and will – be able to stop it and turn it all around when he comes back at the end of the Tribulation. When the Rapture does take us away, then the brakes will be totally off and the decline will accelerate at a breakneck speed.
There are certainly Godly members of government trying to stop the headlong rush of the radical and God-hating Left in tearing apart our nation, but, once again, all they can do is to slow down the process. I think Mike Johnson is one of them. Unfortunately, you can bet that he has a huge target on his back and that his opponents will do whatever they can to take him out.
As far as the Rapture goes, I think there will also be a major disappearance of believers from what has been called the “global south.” This is not a negative connotation, but refers to spirit-filled believers in Africa and South America who have stood against the revisionists of such denominations as the Anglican Communion. I first heard about them when the Episcopal Church was being rejected by the African and South American Anglicans because of the former’s departure from Scripture, this situation brought in focus at that time because of the Episcopalian leadership giving the okay to the ordination of the openly homosexual Gene Robinson as diocesan bishop of New Hampshire in 2003. Within four years, I, and a handful of other Episcopalians, walked out of our own parish when we saw that the Episcopal Church was hopelessly lost. This was repeated across the country and many Bible-believing Episcopalians found themselves tossed out of their respective properties by revisionist bishops. But what they gained coming out from these heretics was much more than what they lost.
Jesus told his followers to “Look up,” especially in these Last Days, because our answers are not to be found in this world, but in the world to come.
What we gain will be far greater than anything we leave behind.
I agree Ed.
In the past 4 years the Lord has made it fairly easy to let go of this world. There isn’t anything here left to embrace when we clearly see what is happening through the lens of His promises. We live in The Time of the Signs; the proof of His word, His existence and the future are very clear.
Jesus is our light and our hope, and He is trustworthy and faithful. Would that the whole world could come to salvation. Yet we understand most won’t because Jesus said in Matthew 7:13-14 “Enter through the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life and those who find it are few.”
We must continue to share the gospel to help save the few, because it means eternal reward for them, and for us too.
This world doesn’t have a lot of appeal to me, either. Part of it is my age, I’m sure, but also that seeing that it is pretty much a train wreck waiting to happen is tough to watch.
I totally agree with you that our job now is one of education – letting people know what’s coming, giving them the evidence, and showing them the only way out (Jesus and him alone), whenever we get the chance.
I generally approach it from the perspective of: Here’s what I believe, this is why I believe it – and you decide for yourself if it makes sense.
I do, however, get more vocal when I see some so-called church deliberately doing something contrary to Scripture. For example, last year, I submitted a letter to a local paper objecting to a Congregational church nearby having a “drag” bingo night and another recently about another church incorporating a clearly pagan “first solstice” night in with Advent.
When my former Episcopal diocese was going rogue twenty years ago, my biggest arguments were with bishops and priests. These people should have known better and I made no secret of how incensed I was that they were leading people astray. It ended up being a lost cause as far as the Episcopal Church went, as history has since borne out, but I have no regrets that I told them what I thought and why.
Until Jesus takes us out of here, I reckon I’ll keep at it – and I know you will, too!
God bless – and I’ll see you “up there” soon!
Good for you Ed! Keep telling the heretics they are in big trouble and exponentially increasing their judgment. Who else will?!
A nearby mega church in my community last year had 5 straight nights of a Halloween Scare (Horror) House and they were mighty proud of it too. I contacted them and emailed them but didn’t hear anything back. A number of women in my small group did the same. This year they didn’t have one and I’m sure it was the result of many Believers calling them out on their blasphemy. It would be a full time job if we could go after everyone who is linking Belial with the Lord.
Looks like 5 countries, including Saudi Arabia, just joined the BRICS. It won’t be long before the world realizes the US dollar is as valuable as last week’s newsprint. Combined with the wars in Israel, Iran, Lebanon, Yemen, Syria, Ukraine, Russia who is promising to take Taiwan, along with the earthquakes and volcanos-wow, I expect things are really falling into place.
Maranatha!
It’ll be interesting to see if there is any response, be they pro or con, in the coming weeks to my recent letter, Robin. And good for you, also, and your group for not letting that church off the hook. These efforts might very well have made a difference and you may never know who you might have saved in the process in this life.
By the way, thank you for educating me on the BRICs. Hadn’t heard about them before but apparently, almost 1/2 of the world’s population is involved with them and a lot of the countries involved are certainly non-Christian. I do not see this as a coincidence.
Combine this with all the natural, economic, religious, political, and ethic turmoil – especially the awful attack by Hamas and its enemies against Israel and it seems pretty clear the fuse is close to setting off the events which will bring an end to this age. I expect the Rapture will be the final event to set everything off.
I am not date-setting, but at this rate, it would not at all surprise me if that happens this year or next – almost certainly before 2030.
Won’t be long now!
You’re welcome about BRICs; you would likely enjoy Britt Gillette on You Tube. He reports all things related to what is happening in the financial markets and how they fit into prophecy and he makes it easy to understand. He’s a terrific brother in Christ.
Thanks, Robin. I will check out Brit!
