Perhaps what we are witnessing today in the insanity going on around us can be encapsulated within two verses—a prophecy given to the Apostle Paul to warn this generation:
Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. (2 Timothy 3:12–13)
And it is the great apostle who was given by the Holy Spirit the words to let us know the causes and effects of the evil deception:
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. (Romans 1:28–32)
The old saying, “What goes around comes around,” is certainly true, especially in terms of fallen humanity’s prophetic trek across linear time. The antediluvian evil and wickedness Paul delineates is mirrored precisely in this generation. We are enduring madness wrought by humanity turning its back to God and determining to do what is right in their own mind. Or, I should say more accurately, determining to do what is right in the eyes of their father, the devil.
For all who are not in Christ are fallen through Lucifer, their progenitor, in that sense. He introduced sin into the human bloodstream. That venom has the vast majority of humankind infected and affected by the reprobate mind—upside-down thinking that is opposite the thinking of the redeemed mind that produces righteous acts. That righteousness is found only in the Lord Jesus Christ, who takes away the sin of the world.
In thinking on the things ripping at the very fabric of civilization and their root causes, two quite timely articles came before me. The first gets more into the causes and the second into the effects. Here are excerpts of each:
Discussions on collapse often turn to signs and signals – The economy, politics and social tensions have become increasingly unstable for many years now, and much like adding more and more weight to a man standing on a frozen lake, eventually the ice is going to break. The question is, how do we know when that moment will be?
As cultural systems begin to dissolve due to political clashes and economic decline the real evil tends to slither out of the woodwork. It happens slowly at first, then all at once. A sure sign of accelerating collapse is the growing prevalence of psychopaths and psychopathic behavior in the open.
The US appears to have entered the middle stages of such a collapse with many sociopaths and psychopaths beginning to feel that they might be able to act out their worst impulses without consequences. They are beginning to test the waters to see what they can get away with. When people have a distorted moral value system, that distortion applies to just about every issue. Just as a broken compass will almost always point in the wrong direction, a broken moral compass will do the same. However, to be more precise, people who say “men give birth” and who side with Hamas, i.e., progressives and leftists—liberals don’t believe men give birth or side with Hamas—do not merely have a broken moral compass. They have a moral compass that works in the way progressives and leftists have configured it: North always points south and east always points west.
Some examples of how the progressive compass works:
— Women who object to men who say they are women competing in women’s sports—even in weightlifting—are haters and bigots (“transphobes”). The men who compete against them are heroes.
Adults who object to schools’ sponsoring drag queen performances for 6-year-olds are haters and bigots (“transphobes”). The teachers who take children to drag queen events are progressive, compassionate and open-minded.
If a 9-year-old girl says she is a boy, the only therapists she is allowed to see are those who engage in “gender affirmation,” which is, of course, a left-wing Orwellian term. The one thing these therapists do not do is affirm the actual gender of the child.
All-black dorms on college campuses are anti-racist. Objecting to racially segregated dorms is racist.
Those who want to build walls or fences to prevent millions of people from illegally entering the country are xenophobic. Those who oppose building such barriers and declare their cities “sanctuary cities” are humanitarians.
Demanding that citizens show a voter ID before being allowed to vote—the norm in virtually every democracy in the world—constitutes “voter suppression.”
If we have fewer police officers, we will have safer cities.
Marriage is a product of patriarchal misogyny. It wasn’t created to protect and honor women, but to exploit them. Anyway, a woman needs a man as much as a fish needs a bicycle.
Scientists who express skepticism about catastrophic man-made global warming are science-deniers.
These are some of the morally and factually perverse positions of the left. Just about every individual who holds these positions also holds the morally perverse position that Israel is the villain and Hamas and its Palestinian supporters are the moral party. We are witnessing the prophesied movement into madness. It is increasingly clear to those who view Bible prophecy in its stage-setting as God’s Word plainly presents it—from the pre-Trib View—that the reprobate mind as in antediluvian times reported by Paul is now manifesting as in the days of Noah. Jesus said when this point is reached–“like it was in the days of Noah”—He would again intervene catastrophically into the evil and wicked affairs of humankind.
That intervention will come instantaneously (“in the twinkling of an eye”). It will be the Rapture of all whom God considers righteous. Here is how to make sure you possess that righteousness, thus will hear Christ’s call in the Rapture, and will go to Him and to safety from God’s wrath that will be poured upon the anti-God rebels on earth.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9–10)

I agree Michael, Terry is so clear about what is happening. This is one of the few consistently faithful sites, holding fast to truth, still available to us as Believers.
Yesterday, I attended the funeral of two women who were murdered at a Christmas Eve party, by one of the women’s boyfriends of over a year. The man then killed himself. Believe it or not, this nightmare could have been much worse, as the murderer had 2 very young boys at the party (it was held at his home) and threatened them. He tried to kill two of our family members but his gun jammed. That was an act of divine intervention IMHO. They were able to escape with the boys but the two women were slaughtered in the house.
Why do I share this story?! Because it is the perfect example of the psychopathic behavior discussed in this article. The murderer was a successful, well-known financial figure, and his first wife was an attorney who died under suspicious circumstances 2 years ago. (Her death wasn’t investigated because of their status.) Money, social status, and education were no protection against the evil by which this man had been consumed. (Our family member said when he pulled the trigger and misfired, his eyes were utterly black and it was obvious he was demon-possessed.)
Events like this used to be very rare. The books In Cold Blood and Helter Skelter were written about homicidal maniacs. They became best sellers because the murders were so uncommon that masses of people were curious about the circumstances that could foster such evil. It is no exaggeration to say that now they are daily occurrences. Sadly, the murders/homicides our family experienced were not the only ones over the 2023 Christmas holidays, there were many.
Nathele Graham has an excellent article on Rapture Ready this morning titled Time to Pray.
She too cites 2 Timothy and refers to Chapter 3:1-5 “This know also, that in the last days, perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away”. Mrs. Graham says “You don’t have to look hard to see that we are living in the perilous time that Paul warned Timothy about. The English word “perilous” doesn’t sound too bad, but in truth, the Greek word chalepos is bad. It means hard to bear and painful. The only other place chalepos is used is to describe the demoniac in Gadara. What’s happening in the world today is very demonic…”
Nathele Graham’s clarification of the word chalepos brought clarity in my mind to our present situation. Perilous sounds manageable, hard to bear and painful sounds far more accurate. 2 Peter gives an excellent description of how much like Lot we are today; Chapter 2 vs 7-10 “and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked 8 (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds)— 9 then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment, 10 and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed.” (I highly recommend reading all of 2 Peter to get a clearer understanding that our times are exactly like the days Peter described through the Holy Spirit’s inspiration.)
These days are indeed hard to bear and painful. My heart is very heavy today, filled with sadness for everyone who has been scarred by the horrific violence our family has experienced. We are called to mourn with those who mourn. But unlike so many enduring this tragedy, I have lasting hope.
Prayer is our best weapon, along with the full armor of God, as described in Ephesians 6, and the knowledge that Jesus is our ONLY refuge. As we grieve we know the best is yet to come.
Thank you, Lord, that You graciously gave us Your word to clearly understand these times, and that You won the war long ago at the cross.
Oh my! I am so sorry the hear such painful news. But you are correct. This type of demonic manifestation is happening everywhere. If we’re not for Christ giving us strength and a future hope, we would never leave our homes. Praise be to Jesus our life and hope. Maranatha!

I am SO not afraid of death, but like everyone, I don’t want to die badly…and these women died badly. Nevertheless, I’m far more concerned about their eternal state because they were Catholics. Did they meet Jesus with love and joy when they died? They likely didn’t, but only Jesus knows. (Lots of prayers for the dead in Catholicism, and we know that upon the moment of death, our eternal state is settled. So many pretty and comforting lies were put forth in that service, it was awful.)
This funeral mass was filled with 100+ Catholics, and my grief was compounded by the knowledge that many of them were not saved, but deluded into thinking otherwise.
Take hope in the fact that in those private times with God they most likely had asked for forgiveness and Jesus knows their heart. It’s the only hope I have with Catholics in my family. And I have witnessed to them many times. Fortunately, they have also affirmed that they believe in the things I shared about Jesus. Some still go to the CC, but it gives me hope that they listen an confess their hope in Christ. However, the ones who also confess and pray to Mary, etc., I am concerned for them. God bless you.

I am not afraid of death, either, because I know Jesus is already setting up a new home for me in heaven (John 14:1-3). I’ve known God was the “real deal” since I was six years old.
Also, as you know, I’ve already “been there, done that” when it comes to death I was flatlined for ten minutes last June. Even though I have no recollection of what happened, like Terry James and some people I’ve spoken to about it, I still don’t fear it, though I admit that I was bummed out that the whole experience remains a complete blank to this day.
I mentioned my experience and feelings about this to Terry James and he was very supportive and encouraging, letting me know that there was a reason God let me come back, both without impairment and recollection, and that I would still be able to do whatever it was I’m supposed to do down here all the same – whatever it might be. That’s still a mystery.
It was just what I needed to hear. It made a big difference and lifted a big weight from my mind (Thanks, Terry!). I expect when I do get to leave this life for keeps that I’ll have my answer then – and that suits me just fine!
It is now beyond the point of people just knowing something is wrong and doing it anyway, which is bad enough. We are now at a place where I think most of them just don’t know the difference.
Using the faulty compass illustration in the commentary, they don’t even know the compass is broken. Someone who is really crazy has no idea that they are insane. The same can be said of our society today.
If one tosses out God, then he or she tosses out the standards that he established to determine good or evil, It makes morality a relative thing determined by the individual or, worse, the existing society. When taken to extreme the result is Hitler’s Germany, Stalin’s Russia, Mao’s China, or Kim’s North Korea.
Or, in the most recent example, that the type of genocidal madness Hamas and its spiritual kindred promotes to kill Jews on the basis of ethnicity as a good thing.
I am sure that Noah and Lot would find our society very much like those that God rescued them from so long ago.
God’s ways are a mystery to us all. Given the choice, if we are saved, none of us would come back from Heaven…but God. Maybe that’s why the experience is blank for you; in His mercy and grace, He has protected you so you can’t miss what you can’t recall.
I am thinking about your comment about knowing right from wrong as an individual and doing it anyway. Your observations regarding people who no longer recognize right from wrong, or worse, believe wrong is right, are spot on.
We are witnessing the transition of global society, not only blurring moral absolutes but forcing those of us who do not have reprobate minds to agree with their wicked, amoral viewpoints. They must actually BELIEVE their twisted ideas! They are not merely retaliating against those who call out what is evil, they BELIEVE evil is good. As just one example, how else can anyone understand the LGBQT+ consortium supporting Hamas and Islam? Or ANYONE supporting the zero-carbon agenda? That’s exactly like lizards supporting cobras. (We are transitioning to this kind of mass delusion and warped thinking to the point that sane and moral people are now facing dire consequences, and even death for speaking up.)
It’s hard for us to relate to, anticipate, and navigate fully reprobate minds. But that seems to be the “new normal.”

It really rings so incredibly true in that if I did remember heaven, I would be so depressed at being back here that it would render me incapable of doing whatever it is I’m supposed to do. Of course, your other points are also right on target about the current moral inversion on steroids now. That the LGBT crew supports Hamas and Islam doesn’t surprise me because they are both under Satan’s control – on the same team, you might say.
I think the devil, as the father of lies is the ultimate pathological liar – someone who actually BELIEVES their own lies. I knew someone like that years ago. It is no surprise that Satan’s followers are likewise afflicted with the same disease.
As far as the environmental business, I had to admit to being a recent convert to now realizing that we are being lied to about this, too. I did a little research and discovered rather than being a major contributor to CO2 emissions, human activity only generates some 3.9% of them – hardly enough to cause a massive global warming. Added to this is there is strong evidence the planet Mars is warming up as well. The now-defunct Mars Global Surveyor clearly revealed landform collapse due to the sublimation of the underlying dry ice permafrost. This could only be caused by rising temperatures on the planet.
I have an undergraduate degree in Earth Science and, in my opinion, the warming must be from a source eternal to both worlds. The obvious candidate is the sun. I am sure that this truth is already known but being suppressed, just like the damage the Covid shots are causing. If I’m right, even if we zeroed out human CO2 emissions, the effect would be negligible.

So true, Ed, that many who are perpetrating despicable acts of evil simply don’t know the difference between good and evil. There are also many who do know whom they serve, satan, and who do so willingly, believing as they do that he is earth’s righteous ruler, and that God is far too restrictive, demanding, judgmental, and retributory to be called good. After all, ‘do as thou wilt’, right? Which is why satanism is such a huge – and growing exponentially – worship. The day is coming when all who worship God will be seen as evil, and those who target us are doing a good thing. And satan is compelled to stop the Jews from calling on their Messiah to come and save them from annihilation; his goal being to turn this earth into a playground of nothing but pure evil, with all inhabitants worshiping him.
Since we can’t know if the rapture is today, or sometime down the road, and we can’t know what we will be asked to endure beforehand, we should all be prepared to defy what evil may come our way. Robin’s heartbreaking story of her family’s terrible experience is a profound lesson in that.

It’s simply unimaginable to think of suffering something like that at a family and friend gathering to celebrate Christmas. The Lord is with me, I just pray that He can use this to open the eyes and hearts of all around the event who don’t know Him yet. Otherwise, the tragedy is greatly multiplied.
You are right, Bonnie. Some people do know, in fact, that they are serving Satan and revel in it. Consider how we see just how quickly evil is spreading now with the Holy Spirit’s restraining influence still present and how much worse it will be post-Rapture when this restraint is gone. Yet even on those seven terrible years, some will come to finally accept Jesus despite that – and be willing to pay with their mortal lives in doing so.
At the end, the remnant of Israel will finally recognize Jesus as their messiah and the Gentile survivors will walk into the Millennium with them, while all of the believers from the past will be part of Jesus’ administration of this new righteous government.
This will just be the beginning, a preparation for the perfect eternity to follow!

It seems logical that the Lord does what is best for you as His child, and that also best serves His purposes. (Just like Terry remembers so much of what happened in his experiences probably because he has a huge platform to encourage those he can reach.) God is not a one-size-fits-all God, rather He is personal.
As for the warming of the Earth and Mars, the Bible says the Sun will greatly increase in intensity in the final time of the end. Perhaps, just like the prophesied drying of the Euphrates which may be underway, we are now seeing the gradual increase of the heat from these orbs. They are all likely related. For certain this is from the Lord’s sovereign hand.

It’s true that God reaches each of us in different ways. In Terry’s book “HeavenVision,” he is quite sure that his experience is a vindication of his Bible Prophecy and the correctness of his Pre-Trib Rapture messages. He now knows he’s is doing exactly what he is supposed to be doing.
As for me, that is something I have yet to discover, but your observation has very much quelled the disquiet that I’ve had about this. When I need to know, I’ll be given the answer. either here or in the life to come.

I forgot to comment on the solar heating thing. You are right. Revelation 16:8-9 does indeed mention this. I had a few theories ranging from damage to the ozone layer from a nuclear exchange, or an enormous coronal mass ejection, maybe, but hadn’t considered it might be a more prolonged increase in solar activity ranging over several years. It apparently began quite a while back because the Mars Global Surveyor Mission picked up those changes 20 years ago, so this is not something new.
Some scientists think the warming is due to a change in the Martian albedo, or reflectivity, and not because of anything concerning the sun, but then the question becomes: What is making the albedo change? That brings me back to the sun because this is also happening on Earth as it warms because of less ice coverage in certain regions. Just doesn’t make sense that Mars and Earth are having similar changes “coincidentally” without a common denominator.
I’m no Luddite but I have only a passing scientific understanding of the warming and cooling of our planet. I’ve read enough to know humans aren’t causing the changes.
The common denominator in all of this is God Almighty. He holds our world in His hand and it is fully under His control. He has told us what is coming, thank the Lord we won’t be here to live through it!
I actually did an independent study for a whole semester on Ice Ages way back in my college days and I needed to educate myself of a lot of things along these lines. I do not consider myself an expert, but it did give me a general background on how a planet’s heat budget works, the greenhouse effect being part of that along with orbital characteristics, inclination on its axis, albedo, and the like. Think I’ll see if I can find that paper I wrote at that time and re-educate myself.
Even so, discovering the facts I previously mentioned, particularly the present warming of Mars and minimal human CO2 contributions, I becoming more and more convinced this is another globalist effort to assume control.
And an “Amen” to what you said, Robin, about us not being here for the worst of it!
