God’s World-Stunning Statement

Recently, a 66-year-old man in my state was investigated upon reports of his being a pedophile. According to the report of his arrest, he had computer files taken from his online perusing of the Internet involving child porn. At the center of his wicked fetish, the report says, was sado-sexual activity. For his crime, upon his pleading guilty to the charges, he was given 40 years of imprisonment –if I heard the report correctly. Certainly, this is a death sentence in that, without parole, he will die incarcerated.

Like you, his crime is, to me, unthinkable. Such evil must be secured against ever coming to the forefront of human comportment. Yet the question must be examined. Why do the same justice systems, whether national, state, or local, look at this man’s wickedness as criminal activity that must be dealt with as harshly as possible yet look upon the murder of children in the wombs of their mothers as deserving no punishment? As a matter of fact, governments have, since Roe v Wade in 1972, called abortion “the right of choice.”

The reason for justification of this death-dealing has been tied to a term that the fallen minds of men have come up with that makes it okay to kill children in ways they prescribe. That term is “the unborn.”

In the most egregious form of use of the term, it is applied to any child before he or she has taken his or her first breath. All before this are considered unborn, thus are viewed as not yet alive. Various states have, over the years, modified the permissive time frame for aborting. It is different in states regarding the number of months when there is life in the womb. When the number of months has been reached, the abortion can no longer be performed. Those who govern that industry have come up with their own ideas of when babies in the womb become yet another term in their vocabulary of taking the lives of children in the womb. The term is “viable.” When the baby becomes viable, it is no longer fair game for the abortionists.

To this point, that which we who believe in God’s View of what constitutes a human being –the person when conceived— has no standing in the world of those embracing the right to abort. The right-to-choose belief system declares the fetus as it is forming and beyond to looking like a human being to be nothing more than a blob of biological material to be removed, much like an unwanted tumor.

But God, Who Created all that is –including human beings— declares something quite the opposite. Here is what that All-Powerful, all-Knowing God says through inspiring the Psalmist to tell Truth about human life.

“For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. My substance was not hid from thee when I was made in secret and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book, all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned when as yet there was none of them” (Psalms 139:13-16).

The God of all Creation has declared that He knew each and every individual who has ever been born or will ever be born before the person was ever conceived in the womb. It is somewhat encouraging that at least there is now significant realization and acknowledgment of the Truth about the unborn – that the baby is fully a human being from the moment of conception and that each human being was fully a human being in God’s Omniscient mind even before mother and father ever joined in the child-producing union.

Here is a recent decision that seems to give hope that sanity still survives in this maddening world of anti-God, reprobate thinking.

A ruling from the Supreme Court in the state of Alabama has released a stunning verdict: That embryos are “children” under state law and protected by the same laws that apply to children already born.

The decision essentially determined that unborn children are a person. The question posed was whether a state law protecting children excluded those unborn.

“Under existing black-letter law, the answer to that question is no: the Wrongful Death of a Minor Act applies to all unborn children, regardless of their location,” the court said. “The relevant statutory text is clear: the Wrongful Death of a Minor Act applies on its face to all unborn children, without limitation.”

The decision reversed a lower court ruling that tossed a case brought by three couples over the destruction of their embryos at a clinic. [Source: State Supreme Court Rules Embryos ARE Children! By Guest Contributor Feb. 20, 2024, WND.com]

I remain convicted with all within my spirit that God is going to make a world-shattering Statement at the Moment of Rapture. He will take every child below the age of being accountable for knowing to accept or reject Jesus Christ for Salvation of their souls. This will include, I’m convinced, every child just conceived and every baby gestating in the womb of his or her mother.

What a Judgment that will be upon a fallen world of anti-God rebels. You don’t want to be a part of that left-behind world. Here is how to go to Jesus when He Shouts to His Church –all born-again believers: Come up here!” (Revelation 4:1).

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9-10).

Thanks for your insight. I have been fighting this horrible sin since it was hatched by satan. Rex and I both. He is now in Heaven (2021)with all those babies whose lives were snatched from them. Ldiz1

That was an amazing statement. Thank the Lord!

  3. Tucker says:

If God was to take all the unborn and young children at the rapture then how does that square with all the millions of children that will be conceived and born during the tribulation? Why take some at the rapture but allow others to be born in the tribulation to face judgement?

    • Bonnie says:

Tucker, we know God loves us so much He sees us sinful, no-good (but saved! hallelujah!) humans as perfect. How much more so does He love His children?

“I love these little children; they are so very dear,

and it is no small thing, when they, who are so fresh from God,

      love us.”

      Guy de Maupassant

Maybe He’ll take every child to be with Him at the instant of conception. Maybe He’ll render every living thing sterile during the tribulation. It may sound trite, but it’s so relevant; Trust in Him, and have faith.

    • Ed Wood says:

From an earthy point of view what I am about to say will probably not be comforting, but we know God will take care of every child for an eternity, even though children have faced horrific conditions throughout human history. No matter what suffering they may have faced down here, those of the past and future are and will be in God’s Presence.

It is important to remember that it is never God who brings all these bad things upon them or us – it is the collateral damage of our original parents who allowed Satan into our universe by their flawed decision.

Like I said, my answer isn’t very comforting, but I believe it is the truth.

  4. Ed Wood says:

If a society is to be evaluated on how it treats its weakest members, what does it say about ours?

If I were to say that I thought any particular person or ethnic group was inferior to another, I would be severely condemned and rightly so. Yet the most strident of my accusers are likely the very same people that regard an unborn person as so inferior that they don’t deserve to live! Isn’t this what Hitler did regarding the Jews in the past or Hamas and its kindred purveyors of hate this very day?

When any individual or group decides that they are the final word when it comes to right and wrong, they invariable sink to the lowest moral levels to which a human can sink.

If you don’t believe me, look at history, or if you don’t have the time to do that, then just take a 360 degree view of the world you wake up to each morning.

    • Bonnie says:

Well, Ed, we’ll just have to agree to disagree on that one. There is only one purpose for the tribulation – the punishment of the wicked, depraved and defiant humans on Earth who refused the free pardon Jesus paid for us. There would be no purpose for God to inflict such horrific punishments on His innocent babies and young children. I find it impossible to believe our God would do such a cruel thing to His innocents.

In an instant, His Church and all children are taken away from the apocalypse and unbelievable pain and horror because they’re either saved or under the age of accountability,

and in the next instant, there may be millions more innocent babies born who will have to undergo a punishment beyond anything we could imagine, and so terrible that if He didn’t cut it short there would be no one left alive. ???

It’s not that it’s uncomfortable, it’s that it is not believable that our God would do such a thing.

God bless you and keep you close.

      • Ed Wood says:

It’s okay if we don’t agree on this because I sure don’t have all the answers. Kids have been subjected to all manner of hell here on earth since the Fall, but God didn’t cause it. Humans did in their brutality to each other. God certainly didn’t want this, but he chose to limit himself – all part of the free-will capability he gave us.

The answers to so many of our questions are just not to be found down here, but I expect they will be when we finally get to our forever home with Jesus.

        God bless!

      • Bonnie says:

I agree with you completely that children have always been subjected to brutality in some of the worst ways possible. All of it caused by Adam and Eve’s disobedience. I watched as my only granddaughter suffered terribly with cystic fibrosis for 21 yrs. and my younger son finally went home to God’s arms after suffering with alcoholism for about 50 yrs.

The tribulation will not be like cystic fibrosis or babies being ripped apart in the womb or any other pain or torment humanity has ever inflicted on children because of their sinful nature.

During the tribulation, God is going to unleash His formidable anger on an unrepentant world in ways never seen before, and in unrelenting wave after wave of torment as >punishment< for rejecting the pardon Jesus bought for us through His death and choosing to continue in evil.

It’s not satan causing the punishment. It is God. Why would God, our all merciful, all good, fair and just God unleash such torment on His innocents? Yes, Sodom and Gomorrah, the flood, the deaths of the Innocents in Egypt. But those were punishments for sin that occurred long before God provided the one way to redemption. The tribulation will be a world-wide punishment for rejecting the Son of God’s death as payment for our sin. Remember, Jesus said the only thing our Father demands of us is to believe in the One He sent.

“Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.” John 6:29

And the cornerstone of the Baptist faith; “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life…” John 3:16

The world before the cross and after it have different commands. The world before the cross only had the law to guide it. It’s called the Age of the Law. We are now living in the Age of Grace, whereby we can choose to avoid the punishment for our sin by accepting the death of Jesus as our justly earned punishment for our sin. In all of Earth’s history, this time, the past 2,000 or so years, is the one and only time that we have been allowed to live under the Grace of God, simply for believing in His Son. And those who refuse this final “altar call” of forgiveness will suffer a ghastly punishment that is second only to hell itself.

I find it impossible to believe that the God who created the universe and every single mote of dust and every tiny, microscopic thing in it will not allow His innocent babies and children a way to avoid the punishment coming to the unrepentant sinners. Our God who gave us this Age of Grace, and who will permit all His Church and innocent children to escape the punishment coming to the wicked, will also allow the innocents after the rapture an escape. Why would He force them to suffer His wrath when they are below the age of determination?

A just God will not do that.

        In God’s Love

      • Bonnie says:

I apologize for this statement: ”But those were punishments for sin that occurred long before God provided the one way to redemption.” I’m sorry, God did provide a way to forgiveness during the Age of the Law, and the Age of the Prophets, before the cross – all the saints who believed in the coming redeemer are in Paradise, in Abraham’s bosom, awaiting God’s call.

  5. Ed Wood says:

The possibility of a universal sterility during the Tribulation which you suggested before is an interesting one and certainly not outside the realm of possibility. I hope you are right.

That God is actively unleashing the punishments of the Tribulation is also right, but despite their harshness, even those in heaven don’t think they are unwarranted, which they really are not, as we see here:

Revelation {16:4} And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood. {16:5} And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus. {16:6} For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy. {16:7} And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous [are] thy judgments.

We even have martyred saints calling out for it:

Revelation {6:9} And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: {6:10} And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? {6:11} And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they [were,] should be fulfilled.

Another question is this: Does the Rapture end the church age which is the age of grace? It could, since the indwelling of the Holy Spirit as it occurs now may revert to something more akin to Old Testament times where the Spirit could still come upon a person, but not actually dwell within them. Still despite the wrath of God being poured out he still provides last chances, e.g, the 144,000 Jews, the preaching angel, and the Two Witnesses.

There is a possibility that God will supernaturally protect children somehow, even as he will protect some of the Jews in the wilderness from the Antichrist, probably at Petra also known as Sela (Isaiah 16:1-4; Revelation 12:1-6).

I totally admit to not having an answer for you and you certainly made some good points – and have given me a lot to think about for which I am appreciative.

Addressing your additional statement, I also do believe that the Old Testament saints are now in heaven (Matthew 8:11-12; Matthew 27:50-53) being taken there by Jesus himself after his resurrection from Abraham’s bosom (Luke 16:19-31) in Sheol.

God bless and keep on looking for answers!

  6. Bonnie says:

I believe the rapture will usher in Daniel’s final 3 1/2 yrs. of tribulation, aka the Great Tribulation, which will end with the battle of Armageddon. I also believe the Holy Spirit will leave with us, since He is the third part of the trinity of God, and Jesus sent Him here to be a guide and teacher for us, and a comfort to His Church during the Lord’s absence on Earth. There would be no reason for Him to remain behind, since after the end of the battle of Armageddon all of what’s left of humanity that is not with the Lord will face their final judgement.

I was raised in, baptized in, and believe with my entire being in the Oneness of God. We don’t need to understand God’s being or ways to believe in Him. All it takes is faith, which He provides free with the asking. So amazing. Simply ask God for the faith to accept Him, and you have it.

Thank you for the interaction. I so miss a home church. I feel an absence in my life that cannot be filled by anything except fellowship with God’s own. I’m certain there must be many churches still that satan has not yet infiltrated, but I’m totally limited in my ability to find one.

Terry, my heartfelt thanks to you for instructing us, informing us, teaching us, and providing us with this forum to share and to comfort each other. You are such a wonderful Godsend and great blessing for us. He certainly knew what He was doing when He chose you for this calling, I thank God for you.

What a joy it is going to be to meet all of you.

    Maranatha
