“Well done!”

Many prophetically attuned believers, such as those who take notice of this column and of posts on terryjamesprophecyline.com, as well as of other Christ-centered, Bible prophecy platforms, pay attention to the nearness of Christ’s call to the Church. Vast billions of people on earth, however, go down that broad way of this brief life without a thought of their swiftly approaching destiny.

Sadly, we know that most Christians–even though they might be born-again believers—pay no attention to the lateness of the hour as the end of the Age of Grace draws near. Much of this disregard (even though the Bible consists of more than 27 percent prophecy) is the fault of the people in the pews who genuinely call Jesus Christ their Lord–because they have little interest in personal Bible study. But at least an equal share of blame for not paying attention to the prophetic signs of the times must be placed with the pastors whose flocks receive little or no teaching about biblical prophecy—for which the stage is being set for in every direction we look.

American Christians are caught up in not paying attention to the prophetic signals that burst in lightning strike-like fashion from each news cycle in reports from this nation and around the world. While these believers see the wars and rumors of wars, the economic strains and stresses that portend economic collapse and threaten to fracture their family well-being, or the absolute evil being perpetrated in the adulteration of a culture that murders millions of babies in the womb and subjects the youngest children to the most heinous sexual perversions imaginable, they only shake their heads and wonder aloud something like, “What’s the world coming to?”

If they would just get into their Bibles—and if their pastors would get into God’s prophetic Word—the Holy Spirit would open their spiritual eyes to what this world is coming to.

And what this world is heading toward—is soon coming to—is God’s judgment and wrath.

And I’m of the conviction–and believe that you are, also—that God’s judgment and wrath can’t be too far distant. This is obvious to the Christian who’s familiar with God’s warning and alert to the flashing signals that can’t be missed. It is imperative that we make our fellow believers aware they should be paying attention. We must hold up God’s prophetic Word to pastors in Bible-believing churches and remind them that they’re responsible for teaching and preaching Bible prophecy. They must do so today, without delay, because time is fleeting in this Church Age (Age of Grace).

We have in the book of Hebrews an exhortation I believe transcends merely urging believers to gather in physical meeting places–church sanctuaries, et cetera. Of course, this is indeed an important part of the exhortation. But I believe that, just as importantly, it means we are to come together as Christ’s Body in understanding the times, especially as we see the time of Tribulation approaching:

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. (Hebrews 10:25)

The words “the day approaching” in this passage is warning of the day when Christ will call the Church into the clouds of Glory, and the time of Daniel’s seventieth week—the Tribulation era—will begin.

We must come together and speak of coming judgment as a Church Body, especially as we see the stage being set for prophetic fulfillment.

We must, therefore, make sure our brothers and sisters are on the same page. Of course, we know from the apathy and because of the many different views of Bible prophecy that this cannot and will not be achieved in total, but we must do what we can to try to make it happen.

I am very thankful that those who come to read our articles here have been so supportive of our efforts. And you know who you are who have been so faithful and supportive of our Pakistani mission. My little Prophecy Power book has been used in a mighty way as the Pakistani minister has distributed it in that dark land and used it to shed the Gospel’s light about coming judgment on sin, and, more importantly, to give the wonderful message of God’s grace through His Son’s sacrifice on the cross at Calvary.

You have contributed to a mission in that foreign land and region where human history will one day culminate. When we work to get prophetic truth into the minds and hearts of pastors and their flocks, we are performing an equally worthy mission. It is a vital mission since we see that day approaching.

Like you, I want to hear the words of our Lord when we see Him face to face in that moment of Rapture. And I want every Christian to hear those words also. There will be no greater reward than to hear them as we look into the all-knowing eyes of our Savior, Lord, and God:

Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. (Matthew 25: 23)

Terry, thank you for sharing this! While I agree that pastors are responsible for teaching the entire Word of God, I tend to put more responsibility on individuals. I often think that some folks will reach eternity and think, “Why didn’t my pastor tell me that?” That is when God may say, “Why didn’t you read My Word for yourself?”

Amen to teaching Bible Prophecy… as it is part of the Word and part of sharing the full counsel of God, yet I find it interesting, and also sad, that even preachers and teachers who do believe and teach Prophecy, quote the numbers “27 – 33%” of the Bible is Prophecy…. on a regular basis.

If you include the vast volume of Typology (future foreshadowing / also a form of Prophecy) … the % (percentage) is surely much higher.

It isn’t just outright, boldly stated, prophetic passages / messages that tell us what is ahead. Not for those with discernment and an ear to hear.

1 Thess. 5:20 Do not despise prophecies.

Rev.19:10b For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

I’ve been one of maybe 2 or 3 people who have asked the churches in our town to speak truth. I’ve asked them to read Bible prophecy or at least pay attention to Israel and speak against antisemitism. I’ve been pretty much told I’m crazy or it is not essential. I’ve been told I’m supporting those who don’t care about the U.S. and yet they disregard the Bible bc it doesn’t say life is gonna get better on earth. It says we need Jesus to go to heaven and then his second coming to bring peace. The Great Tribulation awaits those unaware of the hour or care for truth. It awaits those who forsake Israel and claim only prosperity gospel. My current pastor- He needs to be awakened- he just won’t hear it from me nor his staff. My husband is aware but is caught up in the friendships and the serving over the telling of truth. Please pray for our small town and for the truth of the Bible over Calvinism and Replacement Theology.

The “Great Tribulation” specifically points to the last half / 3-1/2 years of the 7 year Tribulation period (Daniel’s 70th week / Time of Jacob’s Trouble, also known as the 7 year Tribulation Period) , and even those who do NOT know Bible prophecy, or have it wrong… will be taken up in the Harpazo / catching away / Pre-Trib Rapture… IF they are truly Born Again believers.

The unlearned, falsely taught, baby believers, and newly saved born agains… are still part of the Bride of Christ, and He will not leave them behind to suffer His “indignation”.

If they have the permanent indwelling of the Holy Spirit (“Oil” – see Matt 25) they will still rise up with us to meet Jesus, our Groom, in the air… and go to the Bema Seat Judgement, and the Wedding Supper of the Lamb).

But 50% of “professing” believers will be left behind and will receive the Strong Delusion (see 1 Thess 2:7-12) that God Himself sends out, only to hear those dreaded words “I never knew you”.

(all words in parenthesis are my comments… like this)

For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He (Holy Spirit indwelling ALL born again believers) who now restrains (restraining Satan and the Antichrist from fulfilling their role and attempt to destroy God’s creation and those who dwell in it) will do so until He (Holy Spirit filled Church/Bride) is taken out of the way. (at the Pre-Trib Rapture)And then the lawless one (Antichrist) will be revealed, whom the Lord (Jesus) will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. (7 years later)

The coming of the lawless one (Antichrist) is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Matt 24:15 “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand),

Matt 24:21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Mark 13:14 “So when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not” (let the reader understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

Rev 7:14 And I said to him, “Sir, you know.” So he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

I understand the baby Christian’s and those who got the tribulation time frame wrong will go to heaven in the rapture. My point is what Matthew 24 and other scriptures say- those who don’t pay attention to Bible prophecy or don’t care and still don’t see Israel as essential and say that antisemitism is ok are NOT gonna be in heaven. So it is important to re-iterate that the God (Jesus is entirely against Antisemitism and those who remain silent against it). Plus Bible prophecy re-iterates that our time is short and God already said what we are seeing regarding Israel, regarding the shifting in the church and regarding the hatred towards Jews even among those claiming to be saved, and finally the absence of the U.S. in the end times.

Incorrect. Cite specific Scriptures to show yourself approved. You just twisted scripture in an attempt to make it say something it does not say.

        OH REALLY ???
This is pure personal “opinion” and clear lack of discernment and clearly “not” rightly dividing the Word of Truth.
Just as is the case with those newly “truly born again believers” who yet have misunderstandings and personal “opinions” that do not align with God, His Character and Nature, and His Grace.
Your “opinion” cannot be supported in scripture. None (not one) have all opinions and thoughts in alignment with God, His thoughts are not our thoughts, and His ways are not our ways.
You or I have no say in this, and no authority in who will or will not be taken in the Rapture, with the exception of 1 single necessity, “being born again”… and your opinion is simply thinly disguised “legalism”.

for some reason it wouldn’t let my reply go to something I posted already. I am not saying baby Christian’s or those who get it wrong that are saved won’t go to heaven in the rapture. I’m saying those who get prophecy wrong will teach even the unsaved wrongly and those Christian’s who think they are saved but are antisemitic will not go to heaven and be told depart. Matthew 24 is very clear on this. And I will be in the rapture so I won’t be here for the GT. If Pastors don’t teach the flocks and downplay prophecy, Israel and antisemitism- then many will stumble from that. My point is few want to teach the entire OT/NT along w prophecy. And since prophecy is what tells us that our God is God- it is important. Following along with the news in a biblical light helps us see how late the hour is and that God already said antisemitism would be great, the U.S. would not be present in the end of times (perhaps all the antisemitism is a big reason) and that Israel would dwell with peace and safety before Ezekiel 38, among many other things we see. Knowing the Bible helps the believer stay grounded and helps those who think they are saved understand God requires salvation through Jesus alone and if you believe in Jesus yet curse Israel, you too will be cursed.
