RAPTURE READY BOOK JUST RE-RELEASED!

Are You Rapture Ready? was originally under the authorship of Todd Strandberg and Terry James. Due to a misunderstanding with the printer it is now re-released under only Terry’s name. But, both Todd and Terry wrote the book. It is as up to date as when written originally, as you will see upon reading it!

A tremendously important book for our time!

Available now!

In the twinkling of an eye!

It could take place at any moment!  Millions of people will vanish faster than the time it takes the lids of the astonished eyes of those left behind to begin their downward blink. Jesus Christ’s Call to God’s Family is Imminent!

Are You Rapture Ready?, authored by both  Todd Strandberg and Terry James, is the powerful, just re-released book that presents, often with wry twists of humor, a probing look into the awesome prophetic event called the Rapture.

Regular visitors to raptureready.com will instantly recognize the many dynamic topics of their favorite prophecy website. New visitors to the website will find it a book of amazing revelations about the coming great disappearance. All will be infused with deep, made-easy-to-grasp truths of end-time Bible prophecy.

Are You Rapture Ready? is a book you will want to give friends and family, especially those who look at today’s swiftly moving world events and wonder what on earth is going to happen next.

Are You Rapture Ready? is the one book those left behind to face a tumultuous world will need to guide them while prophesied events of the Tribulation era unfold all around them. The salvation message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ leaps from the pages in compelling, intriguing, yet not condemning or preachy ways. It puts forward in every chapter that God’s love is even more powerful than His judgment.

Are You Rapture Ready? Signs, Prophecies, Warnings, Threats, and Suspicions that the Endtime is Now gives clear explanation of every major prophecy yet future, prophecies that are casting their foreshadows over our present days:

  • Israel and Jerusalem back in the land of promise and the center of world attention
  • Babylon (Iraq), like Israel, at the center of the end-time world stage
  • The Roman Empire again in the spotlight in the form of the European Union
  • Wars and rumors of war, steeped in ethnic (racial) hatreds
  • All nations of Bible prophecy aligning for Armageddon
  • A mighty movement toward one world government, one world economy, and one world religion
  • Perilous times all around us, Just like Paul the apostle predicted in 2 Timothy, chapter 3
  • A world-wide cry for peace and safety
  • People-control technologies already in place for fulfillment of Revelation 13
  • Earthquakes, famines, and diseases coming upon Planet Earth with increasing frequency and intensity
  • False teachers, false prophets spreading lies and deception throughout the world
  • Strange sights in the heavens and the earth
  • All of these end-time signals converging at this very moment, and yet most of God’s people seemingly  filled with apathy that gives significant and troubling meaning to Christ’s words: “Be ye also ready, for in an hour ye think not, the Son of man cometh” (Matthew 24: 44)

Strandberg and James use the unique, creative technique of leading off each chapter with a scene from the various Left Behind series of novels written by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins. Todd and Terry then delve into the theme of each of those scenes, dealing with them in a nonfiction way, using past and current issues and events, combined with prophetic Scriptures to project an entertaining, yet profoundly in-depth view of where this generation stands on God’s prophetic timeline.

Are You Rapture Ready is the book you will want to get for your church library, your city library, and your own library. It is a spiritual as well as an entertainingly informative book through which you can show God’s love to people in your sphere of influence, and to a world that needs to know Christ as Savior and Lord.

Please prayerfully consider buying a number of copies. Help Todd and Terry get out the life-changing message that Jesus is the only way to God the Father, and that He wants all men, women, boys and girls to be Rapture Ready!

“Essays in Apocalypse: Some Thoughts on the End of Days” is now available.

*** Terry James New Book Just Released! ***

Foreword by Jan Markell, president of Olive Tree Ministries and host of the nation-wide radio program aired on more than 830 radio stations across America.

The book delves into all aspects of where this generation stands at the very end of the Church Age. Terry James opens with three areas of interest much on the minds of those who intensively examine the issues and events of these closing days.

Those matters include:

1) America’s position in these end times. Could the United States possibly be The Mystery Babylon of Revelation chapters 17 and 18, despite the seminaries and others declarations otherwise?

2) The economic dynamics of this strange time, and the human condition world-wide are explored in-depth. Are we in the days of Noah and days of Lot Jesus prophesied will be full blown at the time He next catastrophically intervenes into human history? This prophesied in Matthew 24: 36-42 and Luke 17: 26-30. Is President Donald J. Trump positioned/destined to help bring about conditions of the end of the Age of Grace?  Is this the almost precise time of the Rapture of the Church taking place?

3) A chapter is devoted to looking deeply into the current leader of Russia. Might Vladimir Putin be the man the Gog spirit will possess when God sets the hooks in the jaws of that leader of the Gog-Magog coalition that invades southward toward Israel as foretold in Ezekiel, chapters 38-39?

This is a book that presents a day-by-day, week-by-week overview of Biblical prophetic progression. Each brief essay dissects most every area of things going on that might relate to Christ’s imminent call to the church in the Rapture and of the stage-setting for the most horrendous time of all human history –the Tribulation.

AVAILABLE IN NEW RELEASE – 100 GREAT REVIEWS! – The Rapture Dialogues: Dark Dimension, by Terry James

Terry James has cut new pathways through the troubling UFO mysteries with his novel, “The Rapture Dialogues: Dark Dimension”.

“The Rapture Dialogues” is a story that explodes the mythology wrapped up in UFO/sightings phenomena, with a unique view toward supernatural beings interjecting themselves into today’s world. The novel’s depiction from the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls, and the 1947 Roswell incident, to the 1967 “Six Day War,” propels the reader swiftly forward to the present day and prepares the stage for biblically prophesied events.

The novel’s subtitle, “Dark Dimension,” encapsulates the ominous supernatural portent that insinuates itself into the lives of the characters who dynamically traverse the story’s 384 pages.

“The Rapture Dialogues” rages frighteningly toward what prophets present as an electrifying future for Planet Earth.

Tim LaHaye, co-author of the 65 million selling series “Left Behind,” wrote upon the book’s original release about Terry James and this powerful work of fact-filled fiction:

“With a solid background in Bible prophecy, my good friend and colleague author Terry James has penned a highly suspenseful and thought-provoking novel entitled The Rapture Dialogues. This fascinating work, which begins with the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls, weaves together an incredible tale involving mysterious UFO sightings, secret government cover-ups, international warfare, and frightening encounters with extra-dimensional beings. The Rapture Dialogues chronicles these seemingly unrelated and fantastic events as they collectively set the stage for the biblically prophesied Rapture of the Church and the rise of Anti-Christ. Intriguing, unique, and entertaining.”

Thomas Horn, CEO of SKY Watch TV and prolific author, says of Terry James’s novel “The Rapture Dialogues”:

“Terry James has written a viscerally exciting and thrilling end times shocker that will knock your socks off. Stable prose and excellent story telling provide dynamic twists and reversals that keep you on the edge of your seat from the first chapter to the fantastic conclusion.”

The late Chuck Missler, a well-known lecturer, a foremost authority in Bible prophecy, and then president of Koinonia Institute said upon the novel’s original release:

“Terry James’ newest book, The Rapture Dialogues, is an engrossing contemporary thriller. Although the characters might be fictional, the spiritual warfare that is behind today’s current events is all too real—a riveting read for nonbelievers as well as Christians. The book ends with a great cliffhanger—I can’t wait for the sequel!”

REVELATIONS  – By Terry James (and Tyce Greyson)

Prologue

Part I

“You’ve chosen the bottom-of-the-barrel profession in the eyes of those who will read your stuff.”

His journalism professor’s words echoed in his thoughts while Tyce Greyson checked his camera.

“News media types rate below politicians,” the remembered words continued.

Melodious, Middle Eastern chants in the late afternoon brought an eerie sense of not belonging. Greyson felt far out of his element, even though he had, during the last three of his twenty-seven years on the planet, occasionally covered stories in Jerusalem as an independent journalist.

His next job was already a done deal. He would work as a staff reporter for a Little Rock, Arkansas, television station.

This would be the last such assignment as an independent writer he would undertake for the foreseeable future. He approached the Western Wall—the so-called Wailing Wall. He wanted to get as many shots as possible while the sunlight remained. The piece would be written for a Jewish magazine based in Washington, D.C. He was anxious to get the job done and eventually fly back to New York, then into HillBilly Airport, as those of his circle called the Little Rock airport named after Hillary and Bill Clinton.

“Maybe we are out of touch with our audiences like they say. Maybe that’s why the low rating,” he considered.

He took several quick shots of people in Mid-Eastern garb and let the thought drop.

Greyson entered a crowded area of worshippers. He angled for the one spot he saw that afforded the least-restricted camera view of the holiest worship site in Judaism.

When the worshippers began crowding around him, the view of the wall became blocked. He cursed beneath his breath and held the camera above his head to keep it from being bumped. The worshippers advanced, and he turned sideways to escape the milling swarm. Finally, he found himself free and was pleased to have a better view of the wall than before.

Greyson took a number of shots while moving around the newly found open area. He checked each photo before taking another series of shots.

He began studying the last of the photographs, his attention disrupted when he was touched by a hand on his left arm. He looked at the shorter man, whose eyes were wide and glistening in the late afternoon sunlight that slanted from the horizon.

The man lifted himself on tiptoes to get to a point nearer the taller younger man’s face. His aged, bearded face beneath the kippah he wore projected extreme urgency. He spoke in heavily accented English.

“Israel is the sign,” he said in a near whisper.

The eyes seemed to thrust the words into Greyson’s brain with laser-like intensity. “Israel is the sign,” the man repeated in a whisper, but with more passion.

After a moment of glaring, the religiously robed man shuffled to a few feet away. He turned to again look into Greyson’s puzzled expression. This time, his words thundered into the journalist’s thoughts.

“Israel is the sign of the end.

Prologue

Part II

I’ve been blind for decades due to a hereditary retinal disease called retinitis pigmentosa. My occupation is that of a writer. Public relations in corporate settings was my work until the blindness became total. Books dealing with dark, mysterious themes became my passion once the disease took my eyesight completely.

Foretelling of things to come has dominated my writing life, tugging my creative juices in directions I neither can nor want to control. That is all held in the hands of a higher power. There’s nothing that can change the truth of that reality, and I wouldn’t want it changed if there was a way.

Proof of the control of this higher power—to me at least—came on a Good Friday. My heart stopped and I was suddenly confronted by an otherworldly gallery of young, jubilant beings.

They were human in appearance but exuded unearthly, I guess you would say “ethereal,” even “heavenly,” radiance.

They were beckoning. They wanted me be to become a part of them—to tell me their astonishing, secret things. Their allurement was mesmerizing. But, everything faded to black and I was again under the human hands of the physicians. They frantically worked to keep me among the living.

The doctors said it had been the “widow maker.” They were amazed that I lived, since my heart had stopped three times to be restarted each time by defibrillation paddles.

Thoughts of that dynamic throng of young, glowing beings and what it all meant kept me up into the early morning hours for months. Answers began to trickle into my understanding one Friday morning nearly a year later.

The interview for my latest book had been hastily arranged by the publicist for my publisher. I stuck my hand out to shake the reporter’s hand when he was ushered into my study.

“It’s great to meet you, sir,” he said, then introduced me to the camera operator who had come with him.

Our interview was wrapped up in less than twenty minutes, and the reporter, after thanking me for my time, said, “I’ve read not only this book…”

Being unable to see his action, I presumed he held up the copy of the book about which we had just interviewed.

“…but I’ve read a number of others.”

“I’m honored,” I said.

“I’ve read yours and they inspired me to pick up some other books on prophecy.”

“Oh? So you’ve become interested?” I probed.

“More like obsessed,” he said. “I’ve been reading the Book of Revelations—”

“—Revelation,” I interrupted.

“Sir?”

“It’s Revelation…singular, not plural,” I instructed.

One of my pet peeves.

“Oh, yes. Revelation.”

“Lots make the mistake,” I comforted.

Revelation, not Revelations. I’ll have to remember that,” he said, chuckling.

“I’m reading the Bible in conjunction with your books and others on Bible prophecy…also, other books by authors writing from perspectives not particularly biblical.”

“What do you plan to do with this…research? Any particular project you have in mind?”

My question unleashed thoughts that obviously he had kept bottled within.

“I was in Israel less than a year and a half ago,” he said. “Do you have a few minutes ?”

“Sure.”

“Let me send my camera guy back to the station.”

He did so, then turned his thoughts back to where he left off.

“I was taking some shots of the Temple Mount area in Jerusalem. This strange, Jewish guy—I guess he was a Jew, based on the get-up he wore—he, just out of nowhere, came up to me and said, ‘Israel is a sign of the end.’”

A moment of silence caused us both to reflect upon the words.

“Did he seem like a kook, do you think?”

“Could’ve been. His eyes were wild-looking. But, I’ve been kind of haunted, I guess you could say, since he said it. ‘Israel is the sign of the end.’”

“So, that’s what set you on this course of research?”

“Yeah. I guess that what has poked at my curiosity about all this prophecy business,” he said after a moment of considering my question.

“Where do you think your…curiosity…is taking you?” I asked.

He laughed. “I came to interview you, and you’re interviewing me.”

“Sorry,” I said, “A writer’s curiosity. You know what that’s like.”

“Yes, sir. I’m glad you’re curious. Maybe I can get some direction.”

We each awaited the other’s next words. He spoke finally.

“I’ve been with the Little Rock station since the encounter at the Temple Mount. CBS wanted me to get that experience before going to network.”

“That’s quite an opportunity…”

“Yeah. It’s kind of intimidating, though.”

“Oh? Sounds like you’ve made it.”

“Well, not if you look at it from my vantage,” he said. “You’re always under the microscope. Or that’s how I feel, anyway.”

“You’ll do fine,” I said, not really knowing anything much about his business except that I viewed all mainstream media with a high degree of skepticism.

“Wish I shared your confidence,” he said.

I started to give my opinion on mainstream news media, but held my tongue.

Again there was a pause before he spoke.

“I’ll begin working at network in about two weeks. But, first I’m going to pursue this…this prophecy itch I have.”

“How so?”

“I’m going to Patmos. I’m booked on a flight there next Thursday.”

“Patmos, huh? Well, that’s a heck of a good place to begin thinking on things prophetic,” I said. “Ol‘ John did pretty well considering things to come from that island.”

When the young reporter left my study with a handshake and my well wishes, I sensed in my core being something profoundly spiritual pass between us. I envied the future toward which he was moving.

It was like the torch being passed. There was no way of knowing that torch would be coming back my way.

Tyce Greyson is drawn ever deeper into intrigues first begun when an eerie accident in the  Isle of Patmos cave changes his life forever…

From chapter 4 of REVELATIONS by Terry James…

The schedule was set. They would fly out of JFK at 12:45 p.m. the next day. But first he would do the news broadcast, preceded by and followed by  promotion of the upcoming documentary series: Patmos Apocalypse.

He watched the laptop’s screen as the computer pulled up the document.

Israel, the Sign

The tentative title given the manuscript ran through his mind, whispered by the voice of the Jewish man in the religious garb. It was as if the little man in the religious get-up had dictated the title. Greyson could think of none better.

Bressnick had promised him time and funding for pursuing  research on the book. He would do  the research in Jerusalem and other places in Israel. He could do  so between times of  filming the documentary, which he would narrate for the most part. –Telling his story and going over the dramatic prophecies he had uttered since the bite by the viper.

The remembered words of the short, rotund, television preacher he had become fond of watching on Sundays thundered in his head now, while the text scrolled on the laptop’s screen.

“Have you noticed  how Israel is condemned by practically every nation in the U.N? Have you noticed that even though Israel does nothing through aggressive actions toward the Palestinians,…and the PLO and other Islamic-Arab actors in the area murder Israeli Jews,…it is the Jews, it is Israel who is called the aggressors…the occupiers…the murderers?”

The questions burned into his reporter’s curiosity. It was always the Arab states, the Islamists, that declared they would completely eradicate the Jewish state. –That vowed to push every last Jew into the Mediterranean.

The Arab coalition had indeed attempted to do just that on the historically notable occasions in1948 at Israel’s rebirth into modernity. The Arab forces, under Nasser then Sadat had tried to destroy Israel in 1956, 1967 and 1973. They continued their blood-vow to erase  Israel from being a nation.

Despite these rants, the rest of the world –with few exceptions– continued to declare Israel the problem. Israel must give in to the Palestinian demands  that  declared they wanted Israeli territory in exchange for peace. Yet the Arab enemies would never even recognize Israel as a legitimate state.

The Texas preacher’s words echoed again in his mind’s ear.

“The world hates Israel because that is the people out of whom the savior of the world…Jesus Christ…came into the world to seek and to save lost humanity. The Old Testament prophet, Zechariah, said it all in giving the end times declaration…”

The preacher had held up the big Bible, then placed it on the pulpit.

“Zechariah the prophet foretold the following,” the preacher had said before reading from the scripture.

“The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him. Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.”

Tyce  remembered the hours spent at the United Nations building. The constant diatribe against Israel. The delegations that got  up from their seats when Benjamin Netanyahu or other Israeli spoke before the assembly. –How the vote against Israel was overwhelming in most every case when the Jewish state was at the center of controversy.

The Zechariah prophecy could already be considered to have come true, he pondered, looking again to the laptop’s screen.

His own life was now being drawn irresistibly into the end of days drama, or whatsoever one might call it. Why and how had it happened? he had always considered such as in the same category as UFOs, ghost stories, and other matters. Things better suited to  the fiction writers’ pursuits than to journalists in pursuit of truth.

The Bible… he respected the Bible, having been raised a Catholic. But, as a journalist –a realist– the Bible was to be looked at as a great literary work –not as the very Word of God, as the Texas television preacher would have it.

Yet it was happening to him… Why him?… The Patmos visions, or whatsoever they were… The sudden celebrity from the…prophecies?

They had come true, those predictions… predictions he didn’t even remember making during those news casts.

And the next newscast was now less than an hour and a half away. –The final newscast before heading to Patmos and to Israel and Jerusalem in pursuit of… His Trying to find out what might be his own part in all of this strangeness…

Terry James’ New Book – REVELATIONS – a novel

A blind writer on topics involving prophecy receives a strange visit from a young news journalist. The TV anchor, Tyce Greyson, tells an eerie tale of supernatural dynamics acting upon his life.

His trip to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, then to the Isle of Patmos in the Aegean, sets in motion astonishing intrigues of profound impact upon his career –upon Israel, and upon the whole world.

The blind writer gets wrapped up in the story in a twist that confirms it is all part of human history’s consumation.

It is a story that both he and Tyce Greyson know must be told. All of humanity hangs in the balance.

Terry James says about the writing of REVELATIONS: “I’ve never sensed such personal closeness to characters in a work of fiction. It was as if Tyce visited me each early morning while the telling of the story unfolded. Somewhat disturbing, but very, very cool… as the young people would have it.”

We ask that our Rapture Ready folks really help this story –which is steeped in Bible prophecy truth– get off and running on Amazon! We thank you, in advance! The link to REVELATIONS on Amazon will be posted Wednesday, May 9. Please look for that announcement in just a few days!

Terry James’ and Douglas Hirt’s new Millennium series “Dream Doors” Now Available

Special Notice to Grandparents: My first thought in wanting to do a series of fantasy on Christ’s 1000-year reign was that this would be a great way for grandparents to get their grandchildren interested in what being a Christian ultimately means. –To teach them who Jesus truly is in all of His Honor and Glory.

Douglas Hirt, my long-time friend and one of the best novelists in the nation and a devoted Christian, and I have teamed up to produce the” Dream Doors Adventures” series.

These stories are set in the time of the Millennium, the most wonderful time of all human history, according to the Bible. Doug and I truly believe the Lord’s Great Hand is in the writing of these adventures of the children who populate that future time.

We prayerfully hope that through these stories the young ones you love so much will get deeper understanding of the Sunday School stories they are taught at church. Our intent is to ignite their imaginations through Holy Spirit Influence when you and their parents read to them –or they read for themselves– the actual Biblical accounts of the stories these tales of fantasy represent.

The first story is “Adam’s Apples”. More about which, below…

I’m confident that you will enjoy these adventures as much as will your Grand kids.

The books are available in both paperback and in Kindle. The links to order are at the bottom.

“Dream Doors Adventures, Book one: Adam’s Apples”

Adam Beam, a young boy, and his sister, Zonia, live in a future time, born in an era of a Utopian world.

The children live in Glorania, the capital city of New Eden, where the Great King rules an almost perfect planet.

There are no dangers to face in this new world. Adam’s pet, Toby, for example, is a Siberian tiger weighing 1000 pounds.

Adam and Zonia go through a “Dream Door” into the past, as part of Adam’s “Explore Time” (school classroom) adventure, the method by which children of New Eden Time learn history.

They pass in and out of Dream Doors by means of the “Dream Doodler,” a marvelous instrument that can draw a picture in midair. The children can jump into the picture they draw, to take them wherever they want to go.

They use the Dream Doodler by imagining the scene, then pointing and waving the Dream Doodler, thereby creating the other dimensional “Dream Drawing.”

Each child chooses which historical era he wishes to explore. He chooses who will travel with him. Adam chooses his sister and Toby, his pet tiger, to go back to the “First Time”.

There they meet with a variety of ancient dinosaurs, and dragon-type beasts. Since these are vision-experiences more than reality, the children are never in actual danger, but can be recalled by Explore Time teachers, or can Dream Doodle themselves out of trouble at any moment they choose.

Adam and Zonia are directed in their adventure by a “Brighton”, supernaturally endowed people of New Eden time, and by “a “Lighton,” a magnificent, huge, glowing figure who can appear when necessary, but who, for the most part, communicates cerebrally with Adam, and sometimes his younger sister.

They are given a mission, to retrieve a sack full of apples, which have supernatural purposes, but which have been stolen by “Evols” and “Slegna”, who are evil counterparts of the Brightons and Lightons.

Adam and his sister meet children of the era, all of whom are terrified, at first, of the tiger, who quickly wins their confidence and affection.

The children of New Eden Time, and of The First Time, soon meet with Grandfather Adam, who tells them of the apples. Adam Beam and Zonia go on a quest to find Grandfather’s lost apples.

There’s never a moment during the Millennial Reign of King Jesus that’s not filled with adventurous excitement!
