We’ve looked a number of times at Jesus’ words about the very end of the age. The Lord told us in very specific terms that it will be like the days of Noah and the days of Lot at the exact moment He will again intervene—catastrophically—into things going on in a world in rebellion against God.

Ezekiel the prophet clues us a bit on that generation of Sodomites, who had moved so far away from God that destruction was the only remedy possible. God told Ezekiel to report the following:

Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fullness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good. (Ezekiel 16: 49–50)

Sodom had reached the point that every form of debauchery was carried on, perversion of the most disgusting sort being the norm rather than the exception. The sexual immorality had progressed to the ultimate deviancy, marking the city and the people for destruction by the forces of Heaven.

Sodom was living the high life in economic terms. As a matter of fact, Abraham’s nephew, Lot, saw its prosperity and chose to move there when his uncle gave him the choice. Lot became deeply involved in the city’s government and commerce. He was, we believe, a judge who held court at the city gate, as was the way of government of the time.

The ease of life and the leisure time provided for its citizens, God told Ezekiel, led to pride, self-sufficiency, and gluttony, with no regard for those truly in need. The people were therefore haughty, and their sin-corrupted senses, they were led into abominable sexual evil before the holy eyes of God.

Lot was caught up in the stream of the city’s rebellious activities, but he was considered “just” by the Lord, we see from the account given in Genesis chapter 19. When Abraham was told by the Lord He would destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, Abraham pleaded for Him to relent. Abraham said there had to be righteous people in the cities—those people would make it worth saving the cities from destruction.

We know God agreed to spare the doomed cities if just ten righteous people could be found. He then decreased that number until, when no righteous person besides Lot could be found, Abraham gave up and no doubt agreed that God had no other choice.

Lot, as representing God’s light in the sin-darkened Sodom, no longer was enough of an influence to provide hope of saving illumination, so Lot was removed from the city to Zoar. Judgment then fell that very day and destroyed everyone in the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Jesus, in the Olivet Discourse, foretold that it will be exactly like that again: God’s judgment will fall in one day at the time in this generation when His cup of wrath is full.

The question is: How near are we to that time?

No matter which direction we look, we see evil proliferating. The Church of Jesus Christ is the salt and the light in this darkening world. We Christians, indwelled by the Holy Spirit—the Light Bearer—are all that stands between the total evil of this world and God’s judgment and wrath. The Lord said the following:

Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. (Matthew 5: 13–16)

The spirit of Antichrist is manifesting in physical outbreaks. The evil is no longer hiding just beneath the surface of civility. Proponents of rebellion against every godly principle are attacking the Bible and true Christians in a way that makes headline news on an hourly basis.

We are—as I like to say in using the KJV vernacular—sorely vexed, just as the righteous Lot was in Sodom.

The New York governor just gave orders to shut down worship in his state, or limit it to completely keep congregations out of houses of worship. It is the same in many of the Democrat-run cities and states, like California, for example.

If the election goes in a direction other than that we as God’s people are praying, it will likely be a short time to the implementation of anti-God measures to protect through law the Sodomite activity that caused God to finally say to those cities, “Enough is enough.”

Norway is victim of the prototype government that is coming to America and the world, unless the Lord sees otherwise.

Norway’s parliament has voted to expand the protections that the LGBTQ community has enjoyed in that nation since 1981 by expanding the definition of “hate speech” that can land a person in prison.

Reuters reported Norway already was among the “most liberal countries in Europe” on the issue, “allowing trans people to legally change gender without a medical diagnosis” and more…

Now those found guilty of hate speech face a fine or up to a year in prison for private remarks, and a maximum of three years for public comments.

Monica Maeland, minister of justice, said transgendered people are “an exposed group when it comes to discrimination, harassment and violence.”…

“LGBTQ+ ideology has been mainstreamed in every sphere of life imaginable. Still, radical gender activists will not be at rest until every private citizen repudiates biological truth and relinquishes his every doubt about their dogma.”

Reuters noted that under the penal code, “people charged with violent crimes can receive harsher sentences if a judge decides their actions were motivated by someone’s sexual orientation or gender identity.” (“Norway criminalizes private criticism of LGTBQ people, Adopts law imposing punishment of up to a year in prison,” By WND Staff, WorldNetDaily, November 14, 2020)

The Antichrist spirit is becoming almost tangible as we watch the lawlessness explode across our nation and the world. Nonetheless, we, as God’ salt and light, are here at the most exciting time in human history. It’s exciting because the Lord is, we believe, on the brink of calling His ambassadors home.

But, Jesus Christ, who is infinitely greater than Satan or his coming Antichrist, isn’t taken by surprise by all of this end-of-the-age evil. He will prevail. And so will we who are called by His Holy Name!

Questions and comments coming fast and furiously in these volatile times ask why the election has turned out this way, or they want to know what it must all mean.

I’ve tried to answer most emails I’ve received like this, but it’s time to address these matters here.

“Ready to Deal” isn’t to imply that I myself will now “deal” with these matters. The title instead suggests my belief that the Lord of Heaven is now ready to “deal” in power and authority with the world and the rebellious state it has reached.

To strive to “Make America Great Again” was a noble desire, a worthy goal. I believe that most of us—half of the nation—truly meant the slogan, not with hubris in our hearts and minds, but with a genuine desire to see America returned to principles installed by the founding fathers.

We wished, only as de Tocqueville believed, that in order to see to it that America is great, we must make it “good.” Christians with understanding know that there is only One who is good. Only that One, Jesus Christ, can make anything noble to the point of greatness. The Lord of heaven is destined—we believe very soon—to reign on the earth as the King of all kings.

The “goodness” America has been blessed with has faded precipitously, it’s easy to see. America’s greatness long ago began its darkening descent from its time as that shining light on the hill. We now more easily understood why this, the apex nation of world history, isn’t mentioned by name in God’s Word.

The question, then, is not: Is America moving into a future shrouded in a murkiness that it almost certainly won’t emerge from? Many of us believe the answer to that question is yes.

The question we need to consider instead is this: Why is this happening now? Why—especially knowing that, before the sudden infliction of COVID-19, America indeed seemed to be on the cusp of becoming robust in its influence for good upon the rest of the world?

The Lord almost certainly was laughing the anti-God forces to derision, as the KJV puts it in Psalm 2. Nothing they tried in attempting to bring down the hated populist president of the US worked. Even with the national and world mainstream press joined to the powers and principalities to effect a coup d’état, the Restrainer (God the Holy Spirit) observably and easily swatted them away. Nothing they could do would stop Mr. Trump from doing his utmost to “Make America Great Again,” thereby taking the nation farther and farther from the globalist influence the powers and principalities wanted to exert on America. And America is the greatest obstacle preventing them from achieving their new global order, geopolitically speaking.

Just when it seemed that the Lord was seeing to it that those powers and principalities were kept at bay and even were in total disarray because of their reprobate state, He suddenly seems to have taken away His mighty hand of restraint. It’s as if He suddenly said on America’s election day 2020 that He has seen enough. Of course, God is not capricious. He doesn’t make rash decisions like we do. He knows all about this election and everything else, and He has since the unfathomable times in eternity past.

We as Christians should take great comfort from this reality. The timing of all these events was set in Heaven, not by political authorities or powers and principalities on earth. The bottom line is always that God’s will be done, no matter what. He is always in complete control.

So our next question to ask is this: What is God’s will in this sudden removal of His restraining hand to let evil once again rampage through its destructive, global-world-order construction project?

I believe with all that is within my spiritual senses that Heaven is once again at the point of beginning to deal, like in antiquity, with God’s chosen people, Israel. The succeeding administration (if contested election results turn out that way), whose many stated goals include bringing America into the internationalist (read “global”) order, also wants to give Israel’s archenemy, Iran (ancient Persia), the same nuclear deal as did the administration before Trump’s.

Mr. Trump has been Israel’s most faithful friend. America, under his presidency, therefore, has blessed the Jews in ways that are yet to be fully assessed. That blessing could turn into a curse with a succeeding president who would turn his back under pressures from the global constructionists. And, globally, Israel has no friends of significant power and influence, with the exception of America during Trump’s time in office.

Key to everything in the whole matter of this election—the seemingly inexplicable turn of events in the nation electing a man who is at the very least mentally challenged due to diminished capacity, and bringing to power a party vowed to take the nation into the new global order—is the most central national entity in all of Bible prophecy: the nation Israel!

Without reservation, I submit that God is on the very verge of being set to deal again with Israel in order to bring back to Himself a remnant of His people. With these, He will establish His millennial kingdom as the chief nation, from which His Son Jesus Christ will rule and reign over the earth.

The Lord, I believe, is also dealing with the rebels who populate this violent, anti-God planet. He must purge them while He is gathering His remnant of chosen people. He is about to deal with all Gentile believers who will accept His Son for salvation during that Tribulation hour.

And, to those of us who call on the Name of Jesus Christ for salvation, I’m thankful to be able to say that God is also getting ready to deal with us.

Before He will begin dealing with His chosen people, the earth’s rebels, and the Gentiles who will become believers during the Tribulation, the Lord will take His Church from the planet. At that moment of Rapture, the Restrainer, the Holy Spirit resident within each believer, will no longer hold back the evil to the same degree He is now.

The Lord is ready to deal, I’m convinced.

That’s not a matter of gloom and doom, but it’s a glorious prospect if you know Christ and will be kept out of the coming time of judgment and wrath.

Here is comfort from His very Word:

 “Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.” (Revelation 3:10)

Prefacing this with the fact that the election is far from settled, with the possibility of the Supreme Court having to weigh in, I wanted to look for a moment at what a Joe Biden administration would portend. Particularly, how the relationship between Israel and the United States would be changed is an issue that bears serious consideration.

First to think on is that, according to Mr. Biden’s own words over a number of months during the campaign, America will immediately rejoin the Paris Climate Accord. That means that the nation would again be brought into the drive for globalist control. The US Treasury and other assets would be again available for the internationalists to plunder at will.

With the House of Representatives controlling much of the money outlay and with a president who believes in the new world order objectives, there would be few safeguards against the imposition of a global tax against US citizens. We would pay for our “excessive” carbon emissions and other infractions of the PCA.

Our temperatures in our homes would eventually be governed by our would-be global masters. Fuel prices for our cars—and for all forms of transportation—would skyrocket. At the same time, America would become totally dependent on other nations for any fossil fuel imports.

All that is disconcerting to anyone who loves our nation and its independence from confiscatory influences from outside our borders. Added to the controls by the new world order forces would be the influx of millions of immigrants, mostly illegal, whom Mr. Biden’s political party would use to create a voter base that can never be overcome by any opposition.

Imposition of a one-payer health insurance, government run, would mean that the citizens would eventually lose private insurance coverage and would instead pay heavy duties in premiums in order to pay for the government programs that would first serve those same illegals and their needs. We would be put on waiting lists that would make today’s waits in doctors’ offices seem but a few minutes in length.

We could look at dozens of ways our lives might change under uncontrolled impositions by a Biden administration. But to look at all of this from the Bible prophecy perspective, we only have to consider how America’s relationship with Israel would change.

We remember how the Obama-Biden administration dealt with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Recall how, when Netanyahu came to call at the White House, upon Obama’s request, the president had him enter from the rear portions of the White House. Then, after only a few minutes of talking with the Prime Minister, Obama abruptly left, saying he was going to dinner upstairs with family.

It was a snub of the first order—a thing unheard of in civil diplomatic interaction.

So with that track record, and one that is much more egregious in some cases, can we expect anything better from a President Biden?

But the real worry in regard to a Biden administration will be the dangers to which Israel will almost certainly be exposed.

Again, Mr. Biden has stated on numerous occasions that he will return to old ways in the matter of America and Israel. Of specific worry are his statements that we will return to the “Iran Deal,” which President Trump immediately exited once coming into office.

Remember the reported $150 billion in cash that Obama sent to a runway concourse in Iran, to the Ayatollahs’ anti-Israel regime. It was stated that it was money that was wrongfully kept that had belonged to Iran during the Bush years. This allegation has never been fully explained or proven.

Mr. Biden wants to bring America again into the “nuclear deal” between Iran and much of the Western world, which once included the US. The following news excerpt tells how this has our strongest ally in a great deal of consternation.

Democratic candidate for president Joe Biden’s position on the Iran Deal could lead to war between Israel and Iran, Settlements Minister Teach Hanegbi warned on Wednesday night.

“Biden has said openly for a long time that he will go back to the nuclear agreement,” Hanegbi said. “I see that as something that will lead to a confrontation between Israel and Iran.”

The minister told Channel 13 News that he, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and most Israelis saw the Iran Deal signed by the Obama administration in 2015 as “mistaken—and that’s an understatement.”

“If Biden stays with that policy, there will, in the end, be a violent confrontation between Israel and Iran,” he stated…

[Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee chairman Zvi] Hauser argued that “today, everyone understands the agreement wasn’t enough to prevent” Iran from developing nuclear weapons, and “countries of the free world know this is their test” – to stop Tehran from doing so.

A nuclear Iran would trigger an arms race, in which Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Egypt would develop their own nuclear weapons, Hauser warned.

“No one sees Iran’s behavior, creating instability in the Middle East, and thinks its right to let them win,” he added. “Neither the Americans nor Israel will allow a nuclear Iran.” (“Israeli Minister Warns of War if Biden Returns to Iran Deal:

However things shape with regard to the election outcomes, one thing is certain. God’s hand is in all of it. We can’t help worrying as human beings concerned with the well-being of our families and our nation. But as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, we know the ultimate outcome is glorious beyond all imagination.

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. (1 Corinthians 2:9)  

There is growing angst, it seems, about the COVID-19 vaccine and whether we should take it once it’s available. This isn’t to advise on whether to take it or not. That’s up to each individual. But I will say that so far as worrying about it being the equivalent of taking the mark of the Beast—as prophesied in Revelation 13:16–18—there is no need to worry. Taking the vaccine won’t mean you’ve taken he Antichrist’s dreaded mark of “666.”

Maybe it’s unnecessary for me to say why there’s no need to worry in this regard. But some might not know. Most who read these commentaries are savvy about the fact that the Antichrist marks-and-numbering system for buying and selling won’t be foisted upon the Beast’s victims as long as all born-again believers are still on the planet. The Rapture must occur before that “man of sin” can make his appearance, according to 2 Thessalonians chapter 2.

Whether the would-be world controllers—like, in my opinion, Bill Gates—wants to slip some sort of a tracking chip into the vaccine that’s eventually produced, I have no conjecture to make. I will say that I doubt very much that these wannabees will be able to do so at this time. Will I take the vaccine? I really can’t say at this point.

I take an annual flu shot. That doesn’t prevent one from getting flu; it only lessens the effects if one does get it, as I understand.

So, as I say, this commentary isn’t about whether to take a vaccine. It is, however, to look at that coming Antichrist mark to some extent, in consideration of technologies being developed during these strange days.

Certainly, like all other things we see developing that smack of end-times prophecy about to be fulfilled, the marks-and-numbering system is in the stage-setting mode.

In geopolitics, we see developing enragement that is bursting at the seams to bring in a global order. In religion, we are seeing a coming together of religious thought and a merging with that geopolitics. This movement seems to be more and more influenced by and even led by the Vatican and this apostate pope. In culture and society, the world, and especially our own nation, has reached the point of rebellious rage. God has been all but eliminated from our educational system and even churches have closed their doors en masse to submit to governmental edicts spawned from the coronavirus threat.

It’s no wonder, then, that in science, technologies are developing that presage the coming Antichrist regime.

Satellite tracking systems have existed for some time. GPS and other technologies are an everyday reality. Transponders of varying sorts can be chipped into people, pets, and possessions. And the technology that will one day allow the Beast regime of Antichrist to cause all to receive a mark on their hand or forehead is progressing rapidly. So get set: That feared mark instrumentality is just around the corner.

The following news excerpt might shed some light on how near might be the actual technology for implementing the Revelation 13 prophecy about the 666 mark.

Oct. 12 (UPI) — Engineers have developed a way to print biometric sensors onto skin, like a non-permanent tattoo, without the use of heat.

In addition to being more comfortable and less intrusive than today’s wearable devices, the technology — described Monday in the journal ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces — can also collect more precise biometric measurements.

“In this article, we report a simple yet universally applicable fabrication technique with the use of a novel sintering aid layer to enable direct printing for on-body sensors,” first author Ling Zhang, researcher in the Harbin Institute of Technology in China, said in a news release…

Because the sintering process, the bonding of metallic components to the sensor, required temperatures of 572 degrees Fahrenheit, the fabrication wasn’t suitable for human skin…

Researchers were first able to lower the sintering temperature to 212 degrees Fahrenheit by adding a new nanoparticle to the silver components — creating what scientists called a sintering aid layer…

“That can be used to print sensors on clothing and paper, which is useful, but it’s still higher than we can stand at skin temperature,” Cheng said. “We changed the formula of the aid layer, changed the printing material and found that we could sinter at room temperature.”…

In tests, scientists used their new wearable sensor to measure temperature, humidity, blood oxygen levels and heart rhythms…

In a follow-up study, scientists plan to print sensors designed to track symptoms and vital signs associated with COVID-19. Today, government has almost boundless capability when it comes to keeping track of us. Electronic wiretapping devices and cameras trained on traffic and on most every corner keep watch. Cameras on every building trace our every movement. From biometrics to radio-frequency identification cards, satellites, and Internet surveillance, we are under watch 24/7. This still will not be enough to control on the scale Antichrist will demand.

Personal tattoos with electronic tracking and controlling properties will doubtless be the next generation of technology dedicated to tracing humanity.

If you know Jesus Christ for salvation, you won’t have to worry with any of it during the time when Antichrist unleashes his horrendous regime. Believers in Christ will be removed in the Rapture in advance of that worst time in human history. (Read Revelation 3:10).

Here’s how to avoid having to endure taking the mark of the Beast during the coming Tribulation:

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9–10)

They either can’t see or refuse to see, for example, that Black Lives Matter is not an organization that champions civil rights, but that is an offshoot of Marxism of the worst sort. BLM foments revolution—not by peaceful means, as the left likes to frame it, but by anarchy, arson, looting, and other destructiveness that has damaged property and lives. The cost has been in the billions of dollars.

The leftist political entities have lately made a few weakly issued comments to the effect that all who break the law should be punished. They say there is no place for those who go against the law. But that’s about it, so far as the condemnation goes with regard to the absolute lawlessness that has run rampant leading up to the 2020 presidential election.

And make no mistake: The left’s desire is to make it a nation in flames and civil strife in order to bring this president’s support down. It is to bring America down so that the nation, the apex nation of world history, can be brought into global configuration. America is the holdup to their plans for one world, a world of Marxist-style socialism in which the few hold the power and the wealth.

This is Satan’s plan for all of humanity—to bring all under his coming Antichrist’s regime of absolute control.

While the political left, doing Satan’s bidding, works feverishly to bring about revolution in order to accomplish their Luciferian mission to bring America down as founded, they at the same time are becoming a law unto themselves.

The one thing they are absolutely bent on is making everyone on earth accept their climate-change madness. Climate change denial is the one issue they hold as the epitome of lawlessness. This is the matter they fully intend to police at all cost.

It is allowable, even preferable for their adherents—the anarchists—to burn down American cities. This, despite polluting the air with acrid smoke from the burning, is necessary. This is a key Marxist principle: ends justify means; i.e., bringing down America and this anti-establishment, anti-globalist president and America as founded justifies the anarchy, arson, looting, bullying, and even killing, because it is all necessary to bring into being the utopia they believe they can create.

God is not necessary in all of this. Their attitude in this regard is more than obvious.  The Democrat Party platform consistently leaves God out of its mixture of talking points.

Those of the radical left are deluded. They have come to the reprobate mindset of Romans 1:28. I believe they are at the point of Psalm 2—the point where the Lord has them in derision and is laughing at them and their anti-God foolishness and evil.

But the one matter they rally around, whether radical leftists or just the so-called normal leftists, is the hoax of climate change.

It is a hoax in that Satan and his minions, both human and demonic, have deluded them into believing is an actual crisis. It’s a lie from the father of lies.

They couldn’t prove the hoax that preceded climate change—that is, global warming. Science disproves global warming at every turn. So they had to rename the hoax to “climate change” instead.  This renaming has worked very successfully among their deluded numbers.

Here is a brief excerpt by a sold-out member of the climate-change Nazis. And that is a proper nomenclature for them. They are determined to police the world and put us in jail if we deny their climate-change “science.”

Organizations like Climate Psychiatry Alliance and Climate Psychology Alliance have been formed not only to point out the severe consequences of climate change for emotional and behavioral health but also to lend expertise in determining how best to overcome climate change denial. For these and similar organizations, climate change denial constitutes an emergency that demands immediate attention. We need urgent attention to developing and implementing the best practices for overcoming public despair and inaction and increasing the motivation to demand large-scale climate change mitigation action. True evil in all the terroristic activity we have endured during this election season is all but totally denied by the so-called radical left. However, everyone of the leftist mindset fanatically holds to the belief that man is destroying the planet. Climate change must be dealt with at all cost. “God doesn’t control Mother Earth” is their underlying spiritual psychosis. That psychosis is what drives many of them to declare that we who deny their climate-change hoax must be eliminated. This is lawlessness, in their skewed view of reality. We must be arrested and either have our psychological inclination changed or else be taken out of the societal and cultural milieu.

As all of the signals of these end times are converging and with stunning rapidity, the climate-crisis cops might soon get their most fervent wish. We climate deniers will soon be taken off the planet.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. (1 Thessalonians 4:16–17)

Time of crisis invariably produces conspiracy theory and controversy. The nation has been in constant crisis since the 2016 election of Donald J. Trump. From the election results’ beginning, there was the claim of its illegitimacy. The claim grew into accusations of collusion with the Russians to defeat Clinton and the Democrat Party. That burgeoned into the ongoing attempts to get rid of what the political left considers the illegal occupier of the White House.

Crisis has now reached the level of near-civil war to some extent. The party that claims to have been cheated either supports or remains silent about anarchists and rioters who are burning down cities whose mayors are Democrats, and who blame this president for their problems, even though they refuse to let him intervene with federal help.

Add to the election-produced crisis the COVID-19 “pandemic,” which comes on the heels of feverish efforts to create a controversy of major proportions each and every week.

The intrigues of the cabal that worked within the intelligence agencies of the Obama administration to forge false accusations against this president; the totally proven false Mueller investigation for months on end; the failed, disgraceful, impeachment attempt—all were part of the ginned-up crisis.

The assault has not lessened. Each week another Molotov cocktail is thrown into the incendiary effort of attempted coup d’état. And now an even stranger twist comes into what has, in my view, become an almost certain prophetic insinuation into this crisis of unprecedented virulence and intrigue.

The president, the most protected person in America—and arguably in the world—has come under attack from the microbic enemy called coronavirus. No one can seem to figure out how it got to him, even with the most intensive contact-tracing capability available on the planet. This, of course, has produced as many conspiracy theories as any found throughout the history of such crises.

One writer has the whole matter as concerning continuance of government.

A week or two ago, when the president first announced that he and the first lady had tested positive for COVID-19, the earliest conspiracy theories burst onto the World Wide Web. Some of the things one blog suggested might be involved were wrapped in the following.

Is the POTUS COVID-Based Quarantine a Cover Story for the Enacting of Continuity of Government Protocols?…

The implied message being given to the public suggests that the President is working, as normal, at the White House. However, people who are familiar with the protocols for such matters states that it is more likely that the President has retreated to The Presidential Emergency Operations Center which is a bunker structure underneath the East Wing of the White House. It serves as a secure shelter and communications center for the President of the United States and others in case of an emergency…

[The blogger went on to give possible reasons for the made-up announcement that the president and his wife had coronavirus.]

1. Impending war with China is a distinct possibility. There are many ancillary factors that could serve to support this notion.
2. The unleashing of what I have previously called the TET Offensive of terrorism.
3. Impending war with both Russia and China.
4. Incoming asteroid(s).
5. A Deep-State initiated coup against the President.
6. A defined series, not just one, assassination attempts being launched against the president. (Common Sense Show, Dave Hodges, Friday October 3, 2020)

Of course, we subsequently learned that the president and wife were whisked off to Walter Reed Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland. (Unless this is just a cover-up, as some conspiracy theorists would have it.)

The many intrigues rocking our world as of late makes almost any possibility seem feasible, I suppose. All the intrigue is driving us toward election, and it’s the supremely important things wrapped up within this matter with which I would like to conclude.

I refer not to the 2020 presidential election on November 3, but to the election of individual human beings to become heavenly citizens.

In this regard, election is all-important. What the great Green Bay Packers coach, Vince Lombardi, said about the subject of winning, I can say about the subject of election: “Election isn’t everything; it’s the only thing.”

That is, God has elected you to become His child—to be saved from the wrath and judgment to come. And as we look around us, that wrath and judgment must be very near indeed (placing the Rapture even closer in the immediate future).

He has chosen to extend His grace to you through the death, burial, and resurrection of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, so you can avoid that coming judgment.

But you must accept the result of that election. You must say “yes” to that grace offer to be forgiven of all sin past, present, and future. And, after you have accepted that election, you should serve God, pray, and study His Word.

We, as His elect, are to carry out the Great Commission—to tell those we come in contact with about the saving power and love of the God who created all that exists.

“Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall” (2 Peter 1:10).

Author’s note: While looking through correspondence from my friend Ed Merrick, a well-known school principal and public educator in our region, who died at age 83 on September 4, 2020, I came across an article he found to be especially compelling, and in his always encouraging way let me know. The past weekend this nation celebrated Independence Day 2020. The holiday is a sort unlike any celebrated by any other country in earth’s history. There will never be a holiday of its like again this side of Christ’s next intervention into the sordid and sorry affairs of man.

I can say this with certitude—at least within my own view—because America is the last hope, in human terms, for freedom to the extent America has enjoyed that blessing for 244 years. We are witnessing liberty’s last gleaming.

When thinking on this commentary, I first thought to title it “Why America Is Lost.” The thought was that the nation has since some time in the 1950s begun the dismantling of all that is good about her, as French philosopher and admirer of America, Alexis de Tocqueville, would have it.

By the late 1950s, influences by Karl Marx and especially of Charles Darwin, as well as by other anti-God minions, had so invaded the educational process in America as to weaken the undergirdings that held erect America’s “goodness.”

That “goodness” is the Judeo-Christian principles upon which the founding fathers placed the republic they created. By 1963, those principles had eroded to the point that prayer and Bible reading were banished in public classrooms. The Ten Commandments became anathema to the new masters of education. There were actually statements made to the effect that the commandments should not be posted anywhere in public places—especially not within public classrooms. The rationale? Because the children might actually read them and begin to think they have to obey and practice them. That insanity is recorded for anyone who cares to research it. I’m not making it up, as they say.

I remember a thirty-something-year-old professor standing before my political science class in my freshman year at college lauding the marvels that Marxism-Leninism offered as opposed to the evil presented by American adventurism and bloody war-making since the founding. By then, the erosion of American “goodness,” thus its “greatness,” was well underway.

So, as I say, I started to give this commentary the title, “Why America Is Lost.” I thought to present the fact that the disease of anti-God inculcation has so infected America at its core that the nation cannot be spared the inevitable fall that God’s righteousness—the only goodness that exists—ultimately demands.

As de Tocqueville and any observer within the realm of rationality would rightly conclude, America has lost her goodness, her godly foundational mooring. So she has lost her greatness (the gleaming of freedom as testimony to God providing certain unalienable rights, among them life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness).

We have allowed the “wickedness in high places”—those principalities and powers in the lofty perches of academia and government—to replace the godly foundations. The nation has been and is at this moment being deconstructed by lawlessness in an avalanche of tearing down all values formerly held to as suitable for a good and moral people.

Founders like Franklin and Adams forewarned about dangers intrinsic within the populace ever abandoning the Judeo-Christian base they had erected. Any other people than a morally based, truly free people, they consistently forewarned, are unsuitable for God-given governance. Any people not firmly moored by such providentially influenced foundation are ultimately destined to lose their liberty, was the message.

That those liberties implicit and explicit within the Bill of Rights are even at this moment under assault cannot be denied. The anarchists, arsonists, and so-called deconstructionists of the radical left make liberty’s last gleaming a manifest destiny for Americans.

The Democrat party champions those who are fomenting a cultural revolution that mimics those of Mao and others. Lawlessness rules in major cities where the reprobate thinking of Democrat mayors and governors agrees with the Marxist demands that law enforcement be eliminated through defunding and other means.

The Republican Party for the most part refuses to stand up against the evil that has taken over much of the nation’s youth—the Millennial generation. From kindergarten through doctoral programs, these have been victims of a satanically influenced cabal of anti-God educators for more than six decades. The title, “Why America Is Lost,” therefore, would be appropriate for an article in this day and time.

But the impression struck as the depression deepened in thinking on these matters. “You have left out one ingredient to all this seeming madness afflicting the nation and world.”

Indeed, I had left out the most important ingredient when thinking on the insanity raging within our nation and beyond. That factor is God’s staying hand.

America, although it shows every indicator of precipitous decline from which there seems no escape, remains the freest nation on earth. Its economy, already untenable because of debt extrapolated into hundreds of trillions of dollars for future generations, remains intact, despite suffering a complete shutdown due to a largely contrived virus threat. Most of the nation’s heartland continues to function and show progress toward a return to a degree of normalcy, despite the most vicious attempts imaginable by globalist diabolists in DC and other capitals of the world to rip American sovereignty and autonomy to shreds.

It is incontrovertibly true from the perspective of Bible prophecy, within the observations of those spiritually attuned. God continues to restrain the raging efforts to bring down this supernaturally inspired experiment in liberty. America will be here, I’m believing, until that restraint is withdrawn when Christ calls all born again believers to Himself.

Meantime, it is incumbent to pray fervently that He who sits in Heaven—and obviously has the rebels of planet earth in derision as in Psalm 2—continues to restrain the satanically enraged evil with His omnipotent, staying hand.

As we as a generation of inhabitants of Planet Earth pierce ever more deeply into the end of the age, the picture of the emerging Tribulation world order comes into view. Presently that view is in the process of tightening into high-definition focus.

I begin the book in my introduction with the following:

Planet earth needs a savior. This declaration is at the center of the demand by true believers that all people of this endangered sphere must acknowledge. Those deniers—nonbelievers—are branded as her­etics. Those in denial of this unimpeachable assertion deserve to be, at the very least, incarcerated for their denial.

This mantra is central to the religious fervor of today. But, it is not the religious fervor of those who adhere to truth found in God’s Word, the Bible. The zealots who hold to this theology are, from heaven’s per­spective, lawless in their anti-God demands. The elitists in government and the news and entertainment media who believe man is destroying the planet and only man can stop the destruction. There is no God to be considered in the controls they intend to exert.

And it is indeed religious zealotry. It is for certain a theological mantra that festers at the lawless hearts of those who rave about climate change and mankind destroying the planet through wanton disregard for the wel­fare of Mother Earth.

Right on schedule, a global religious leader has emerged to the forefront of prophetic stage-setting. He has been instrumental in igniting the fever for the global warming (now “climate change”) fanaticism we see developing. Many, even among top Catholic clergy, have expressed they believe this man could be the final pope. A number among those believe him to possibly be the false prophet—the second beast—of Revelation chapter 13.

I don’t go that far. But certainly this man who came to papal power in such strange fashion exhibits characteristics of one who denies truth and leads the flock astray. Pope Francis has, for example, stated that even atheists will one day be in Heaven. He has said such things as all religions should pray to their gods for relief from COVID-19. He has said there are other ways to Heaven than through Jesus Christ. He has called for world governmental authority over all people. I have all these declarations documented in my files. These are not false accusations.

This pope has made no secret of his disdain for the current president and his administration. Trump’s anti-globalist, “Make America Great Again,” determination has driven the one-worlders into frenzy. Pope Francis is proving to be their champion, as demonstrated by the following news excerpt.

Pope Francis asked Christians to care about creation, saying that the abuse of ecosystems is a “grave sin” while lamenting the negative impacts of global warming and targeting President Trump “everyone abusing the ecosystem should be held accountable.”

We must look after our common home, “to the earth and to every creature,” the pope said during a speech in the Vatican’s San Damaso, “all forms of life are interconnected, and our health depends on that of the ecosystems that God created and entrusted to us to care for.”

“Abusing them, on the other hand, is a grave sin that damages us, and harms us, and makes us sick,” he explained.

“Everyone who abuses the ecosystem and avoids accepting the fact that our ‘common home’ is in danger should be held accountable,” the pope stated referring to President Donald Trump.

“It is easy to fall prey to an unbalanced and arrogant anthropocentrism, the ‘I’ at the centre of everything, which gives excessive importance to our role as human beings, positioning us as absolute rulers of all other creatures,” he continued.

“A distorted interpretation of biblical texts on creation has contributed to this misinterpretation, which leads to the exploitation of the earth to the point of suffocating it,” he added.

“Exploiting creation: this is the sin. We believe that we are at the centre, claiming to occupy God’s place and so we ruin the harmony of creation, the harmony of God’s plan,” the pope explained.

“We become predators, forgetting our vocation as custodians of life,” the pope continued…

I write further in my introduction to LAWLESS: The End Times War Against the Spirit of Antichrist:

Mother Earth worship is the central unifying concept the father of lies has perpetrated that fits most propitiously within this spirit of Antichrist model. Branding against deniers of climate change as being the worst sinners within the religion of humanism is designed to make Christianity appear to be a false worship system. This is because the Bible declares that Jesus Christ, who is the very Word of God (John 1:1–3), is who has this earthly orb in His grip. It is not man who controls planet earth.

This, of course, is antithesis to the unimpeachable declarations of the environmental gurus who say man is destroying the earth with green­house gases from carbon emission. Only man, himself, through draconian actions to stop these deadly gases, can save himself from choking to death from unbreathable air or drowning because of the melting ice of the North and South poles.

Make no mistake, denial of God’s truth regarding creation and Jesus Christ is at the black heart of the lawlessness and evil comportment we are experiencing. The young are especially affected and infected by this Antichrist spirit. The rebellion is prophetically scheduled to get worse—much worse, and climate-change fervor will increase the nearer the age draws to the time of Tribulation.

While we move through this election season and watch the evil become increasingly worse, let us acknowledge that there is only satanic deception within the “Mother Earth” delusion being foisted particularly upon the young minds among us. Let us take the apostle Paul’s exhortation to heart:

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. (1 Timothy 2:1–6)

Bombardment every waking moment, through constantly churning news cycles, presents an ominous unfolding that can’t be missed by the truly spiritually attuned Christian. We’re well into the “end of days,” as the secular writers and other pundits like to term it.

We’re seeing in geopolitics the powers and principalities in their high places of wickedness doing all within their considerable abilities to bring about global government. Satan’s one-world effort to establish his Antichrist regime is well underway. Only God’s restraining hand has kept the devil from being able to complete his prophesied task—to bring to earthly power the first and second beasts of Revelation chapter 13.

In these commentaries, we’ve talked about this luciferian effort and the Lord’s staying hand at work to delay its implementation. The effort at that implementation has been especially aggressive within the United States. Attempts to bring down the American president who is anti-globalist in every respect has been almost beyond description or even belief.

In the religious realm, we’ve seen a marked refusal to stand up against the evil going on within society and culture. There is well underway an apostasy of the first order. The “falling away,” in terms of departure from faith among a growing number of Christian ministries, is made clear in the lack of opposition offered from the pulpits to that proliferating evil.

The current pope has endorsed the apostate declaration that all will eventually be in Heaven for eternity, no matter whether saint, agnostic, or atheist. He has embraced climate change as part of the growing trend toward the worship of Mother Earth. Whether Catholic or Protestant, many of the clergy in what is called Christendom are either totally in for, or totally silent on, the issues within the social justice movement so in vogue today.

Regarding those social justice issues, the apostle Paul’s words of forewarning can almost be heard echoing down through the corridors of this eerie time in history. Perilous times are indeed with us—again—every waking moment while we get the hourly and even minute-by-minute news reports from the nation and from around the world.

Paul, in 2 Timothy 3, is, it seems to me, speaking directly to this generation when he says:

For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof.

Let’s look at a few of these characteristics of end-times humans as the great apostle gives them and as we think on our experience as of late.

“Blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy”

Video and audio of the rioters in the various cities they have destroyed, burned, and looted contain some of the most blasphemous language imaginable. They are so vulgar, so blasphemous, that one hears almost a constant beeping the news organizations use to keep from violating broadcast etiquette and regulations.

Many of these are pampered Millennials who are college students that have never been disadvantaged in any way. They directly disrespect parents and rules of civil comportment. They exemplify Paul’s terms “unthankful” and “unholy.”

“False accusers, incontinent, fierce”

The anarchists who join the likes of Black Lives Matter and Antifa are traitorous to the nation that gave them the privileges they now violently protest. These are Communist/Marxist organizations that hate everything about America and foment its destruction. Those who, like the “useful idiots” Marx wrote about, “falsely accuse” people of America in general and the police across the country of wanting to murder people of color, particularly African Americans. These arsonists and thugs are “incontinent”—that is, they are unwilling and/or unable to control their desires to commit these insane acts of rage. They are “fierce” and launch bricks, bottles of frozen water, and Molotov cocktails at police and even at owners of private property and businesses.

All of this demonstrates, I believe we should conclude, that we are in the very last hours of this fleeting age. We must, of course, defend against the forces that want to destroy and even kill to do the service of their master, the devil. But, even though it is difficult to understand all involved in His Instruction, Jesus has an even stronger defense for us to follow while we guard against those who would do us harm. We must obey Him no matter what, and leave all the consequences to Him.

But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. (Luke 6: 27–28)

With the election of Barack Obama following eight years of George W. Bush, things appeared to be right on track for globalization. Even during the Bush years, the push to bring in a changed world order was front and center.

Efforts by those opposed to giving up American sovereignty were becoming increasingly atrophied. America-as-founded advocates within the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives gave in to the change agent in most every instance because it was impolitic to push back against the first black president. The leftist mainstream news media reveled in the words of the new president: “It is time for fundamental change in America!”

The Obama administration started by the president undertaking a world tour where he apologized for the United States being overbearing and…well…just not a good global citizen. The first lady, Michelle Obama, said she was proud of America for the first time since her husband made the tour and was beginning to right all the wrongs that the U.S. as founded had perpetrated upon the rest of the world.

Those in charge in D.C. during those eight years indeed set about to transfer American industry—especially manufacturing—to nations throughout the world. Particularly, China was beneficiary of the change that was taking place. During those years, China built an economy that is scheduled to overtake that of the U.S. by 2040-something. That nation used the great profits made from the trade deals and through industrial and hi-tech espionage to build a military machine that the Bible tells us will one day be at the heart of the force that will kill a third of the world’s population. (Read Revelation chapters 9 and 16.)

We can see simply by looking at China’s growing belligerence through its threats in the South China Sea and its ominous threats against the Trump administration’s tough dealing to create a more favorable trade balance, just how foolish the giveaways by the Obama administration were. And, it is almost certainly the Sino-globalist cabal, according to some observers, that released the COVID-19 plague—a so-called pandemic that has brought the greatest economic power to have existed to its knees along with the rest of the industrialized world.

Then came the election of 2016. The world powers elite were set to further bring those American assets into their orbit with the election of the candidate who was to complete the Obama agenda. It was all but a done deal. The media, again, was giddy with the prospects of making the United States exactly like the European socialistic model they so longed for.

But something funny happened on the way to that next presidential inauguration.  The candidate of the changed world order lost in a large electoral landslide. The winner, the “Make America Great Again” candidate, gave the inaugural speech in which he lambasted Obama’s agenda and the damage done in the Obama administration, and he vowed that now America would be front and center in bringing back manufacturing and all other things that had been virtually given away during the previous four years.

Bottom line is that Satan’s plans to bring his geopolitical regime of control sooner rather than later was stymied. There came a push-back of major proportions because of the election result, one that nobody saw coming—except perhaps Donald J. Trump and his confidence in winning rather than losing, and, certainly, Christians who believe unwaveringly in the power of prayer.

As mentioned here many times, that prayer, as edited by God as recorded in 2 Chronicles 7: 14, was at the precise center of the miracle that took place that election night in 2016.

Since that night, and even before, the luciferian push to bring America and the world back to conditions as they were before the 2016 election have increased by the hour. The insane rage of those who are nothing less than operatives for the end-times rebellion Satan is fomenting are in our faces—our masked faces—every waking minute.

Those leading the rebellion, including not only Antifa and Black Lives Matter, but the ideological-political left in general and the mainstream news and entertainment media as well, are now warning with not-so-veiled threats that if the man they hate is reelected, we can expect carnage from their rage that will cause what is happening at present to look like child’s play. Even Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden has threatened in no uncertain terms that the rage will become even more intense.

So the push by the chief rebel of all rebels has his minions, both human and demonic, in place for the big push that is without question coming, no matter who wins the election.

It’s just the way it is. It is the time in which we are privileged to be alive—the very end of the Age of Grace.

We are here for the big push-back against Satan’s big push to bring in the long-prophesied Antichrist world order.

That cannot and will not happen while we are still here. Our push-back—God’s push-back—is why we are here at this troubling but exciting time. The Holy Spirit resident within each believer in Jesus Christ provides us greater power than the minions of the satanic push have at their disposal.
