When we move from mainstream news and the almost-constant focus on COVID and its variants, we can’t go far into the blogosphere before we get equally mired in the same subject. But the talk of COVID and the variants in most of the blogs that address the so-called pandemic come from the opposite view presented by mainstream venues.

The contrarian blogs present that the pandemic is, by design of the globalists, bringing about the destruction of America. It is designed as well to reduce the population of the earth.

There await the anti-vaxxers COVID camps—replace nomenclature for the FEMA camps—but in actuality, they are one and the same.

These will fill up with those who refuse to accept the various vaccines. The camps will, like the death camps of the Nazis, be used in killing the resisters by the thousands—and, eventually, by the millions.

According to these opposition blogs, those who accept the vaccines are being injected already with “spike proteins” and other deadly agents, all designed to bring the world’s population down to a sustainable level.

The Georgia Guidestones, placed there by the globalists elite, it is said, reads that desired sustainable number is around 500 million. According to this and the many blogs that are in opposition to mainstream media, the globalist cabal and the Biden administration hold that, based upon current world population, more than 7 billion people will be offed the planet through their genocidal treachery in preparation for the planned globalist utopia.

The blogs that put forth that the evil within the vaccines are “kill shots” are equally adamant about prepping. These almost always have online stores where their visitors can buy foods necessary to survive the neo-holocaust that certainly is on the way. Their business model is based upon this inevitable collapse of the United States economy and of the world’s economic structure in general.

Some who broadcast daily to their blog audiences bring Bible prophecy into their warnings of impending collapse and all it will almost certainly entail.

Food supplies will dwindle into nonexistence. The electric grid will fail across the nation and world. Water supplies will stop flowing. Even the Chinese and Russian militaries, which are now posed to do so on the northern and southern borders of the country, will invade at just the right time. Blue-helmeted UN troops will be sent door-to-door to take away resisters to the coming New World Order tyrants’ internment camps.

This is what the Bible says will happen, these blogcasters claim. Now is the time of Revelation and all the judgments written therein, they declare.

One I listened to the other day—a fellow with a biblical prophet’s name, as a matter of fact—said that there is “a group” out here that believes they will escape this coming time of Revelation-like horror. He spoke as if he was incredulous that such a belief system could exist.

He indicated, at least by tone, that this is a very small gathering, whose belief system simply, somehow, blinds them to what is going on all around them. They will be the most anguished of all when the collapse comes and Satan’s human minion’s assault and take them to the COVID camps and worse.

The blogcaster never mentioned the word “Rapture.” He did have a tinge of pity in his voice that indicated he felt badly that anyone who sees the things going on could be so deluded.

He then said he was not an authority on Bible prophecy, but that several people he knows and trusts tell him that we are all but within the Tribulation at this point. He gave the names of a couple of these prophecy teachers/writers/broadcasters. I won’t mention them, because I don’t wish or intend to get in debate with a theological miscarriage of Bible truth when it comes to things to come according to God’s Word. But they are names that you will hear time and time again if you follow the blogs I’m writing about.

Those who believe there will be a great escape from end-times trouble, the blogger said, are destined to be swept up in the genocide and starvation because they aren’t sufficiently prepped for what is to come.

I’ve tried twice to “reach out” to one of these bloggers. My purpose was to give him concise reasons the world isn’t yet in the Tribulation. I offered him a book or two giving what the Bible really has to say about that most horrific future time.

I never heard back. It is understandable, because this particular fellow has years invested in following the teachings of “no Rapture.” Well, that, plus the Rapture doesn’t fit his business model.

This isn’t meant to say that I think he doesn’t really believe what he preaches. He’s very intelligent. He is just, at best, a very immature believer. And I do believe, based upon what I hear, a believer in Jesus Christ. He, too, if belonging to our Savior, will be instantaneously snatched into the clouds when Jesus calls.

The strongest point of that assurance is that nowhere in the prophetic Word of God are we who live in the Church Age (Age of Grace) told to prepare for Antichrist.

That prince that shall come/man of sin/ son of perdition/beast is profiled in the prophetic passages, forewarned to appear during Daniel’s seventieth week, but not to the people who are believers during this present age. We who are Christians–believers during this Church Age—are not told to prepare to survive the Tribulation. We’re told to look for the Real Christ, not the phony. We are to look for Jesus Christ, not Antichrist.

Paul gave these instructions to all who believe according to Romans 10: 9–10:

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. (Titus 2:13–14)

The Antichrist won’t be revealed until the apostasia—the falling away or departure:

For that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. (2 Thessalonians 2:3).

Although Bible students and seminary scholars have often defined this apostasia or falling away as a spiritual departure, in-depth studies in more recent times have defined this Greek noun as a spatial departure—a removal in space and time as opposed to a departure from spiritual truth.

I believe it likely falls under both definitions.

Perhaps the top scholar on the Rapture today is Dr. Thomas Ice. Here’s what he wrote for our book, The Departure.

I believe there is a strong possibility that 2 Thessalonians 2:3 is speaking of the Rapture. What do I mean? Some pretribulationists, like myself, think that the Greek noun apostasia, usually translated “apostasy,” is a reference to the Rapture and should be translated “departure.” Thus, this passage would be saying that the Day of the Lord will not come until the Rapture comes before it. If apostasia is a reference to a physical departure, then 2 Thessalonians 2:3 is strong evidence for pretribulationism. (The Departure, conclusion, Defender Publishing, 2010)

The Church is still here. We haven’t yet been translated into immortality in the Rapture. God is still, through the Holy Spirit’s indwelling each of us, using believers to restrain the evil that is trying to burst forth and bring in Antichrist’s regime of horror.

The blogs might well be on point in observing the globalists’ and leftists’ evil intentions in regard to danger to our liberty. However, all the Tribulation talk of the bloggers is erroneous at best and egregiously false teaching at worst in the claims of evil achieving Satan’s absolute control, with no Rapture in their apocalyptic scenarios. The beast’s reign can’t begin until we are gone. So have no fear that we, as believers, are about to enter that time of Daniel’s seventieth week.

Let us use that energy many have spent worrying about being tortured, hunted, and hated during that unprecedented time of trouble to instead carry out the Great Commission right now, during this Age of Grace—to tell of the only escape from that coming time –the Lord Jesus Christ and His being the only Way to God the Father and Heaven for eternity.

Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. (Revelation 3:10)

At the heart of iniquity—the evil God’s Word says indwelt Lucifer when he decided to make himself more important than the Creator—festers the wicked desire to replace God.

This rebelliousness has been deeply ingrained within all of humanity since the Fall in Eden.  That iniquitous desire is dramatically manifested in the biblical account of Israel’s Exodus of Moses’ time.

The scene centers on Pharaoh, the most powerful potentate of the world in that day.

And Pharaoh said, Who is the LORD that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the LORD, neither will I let Israel go. (Exodus 5:2)

Pharaoh’s fate ended no better than will Lucifer’s, ultimately. Neither will the fate of anyone of any generation who seeks such position be any better than that of the one now called Satan. To desire to make oneself one’s own god is a fool’s errand, to be sure. The eternal lake of fire is the God-guaranteed end of that endeavor.

Yet most of humanity, especially those who consider themselves to be the elite, is determined to do what is right in their own eyes. The deeper mankind moves into history, the more pronounced their determination to cast off God’s moorings. They have become creators themselves, and like described in the prophecy of Psalm 2, they want to break the bands that God puts in place to govern them in the ultimate sense.

Nothing in last-days movement into history more illustrates the truth that man was created in God’s image than their own creative ability. We’ve made truly remarkable progress in terms of inventions that, in juxtaposition against previous century’s, border on miraculous. And now, as their genius pierces into uncharted technological atmospherics, the future seems to circle back to the past. The writer of Proverbs is again proven right: “There is nothing new under the sun.”

God said in that Genesis account that nothing people could think to do would be kept from them; they could do anything they could imagine. Thus He came down and interfered with their Tower project. He then scattered them about the earth—because their corporate mind again came to be like in the days before the Flood. They had determined to, like Lucifer, put their collective will into opposing the Creator, to cast His cords from themselves.

And, like during those antediluvian times, their thoughts were only on evil continually. Things they could produce from that sin-fallen thinking would, inevitably, bring man to its destruction.

This ultimate destruction of mankind, of course, has been Lucifer’s intention from the time he was evicted from Heaven along with his complicit hordes to, like a roaring lion, seek and devour all human beings.

And now it appears that both mankind and Satan have reached the moment of rebellious progression—like in times of the pre-Flood era and the time of Babel. The earth-dwellers have nearly reached a moment when they can shed God’s tethers and become their own gods: do what is right in their own eyes. Therefore, we sense the Lord is about to again intervene as He did in those previous junctures of human history. Jesus spoke of this time in which we’re living in His “days of Noah, days of Lot” forewarnings as recorded in Matthew 24:36–42 and Luke 17:26–30.

This sense of God’s imminent intervention comes from a number of different kinds of signs prophetic progression. But the one sensed most keenly is a specific, burgeoning scientific development of these frenetic times.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is that specific indicator.

Man’s creative genius has reached the point that the luciferian thinkers now believe they can surpass human intelligence. They can, they believe, construct intelligence that will free them to do whatever is right in their own eyes. They need no deity to encumber their utopian plans. They have, in their superior minds, replaced God.

We’ve been bombarded in recent decades with fictional scenarios of technologies getting out of control. These Hollywood dystopian fantasies have most often ended with the day being saved by one hero or group of heroes or the other. Humans have regained control and all ends well. A few cases see the climaxes of the movies go in the other direction, resulting in man’s downfall. One prophecy writer says the following.

Most accredited universities have within their computer science departments, active programs for the creation of artificial intelligence. At some point in the not-too-distant future, man is going to cross that technological threshold between fantasy and reality and launch a system that is “self-aware.” Scary thought!…

We have moved firmly into the realm of creating a super-intelligent AI system. We have developed the technology to create “deep fakes” that can fake audio and video, making it indistinguishable from the real thing. We have further developed cloud technology. Cryptocurrencies are proliferating. Drone and robotic technology are continuing to improve at an incredible pace and scale. Genetic manipulation (to include data storage) is continuing to be refined and enhanced…

And between man’s desire to live forever through artificial means (trans-humanism and singularity) and AI’s ability to solve seemingly unsolvable problems, it will be a Babel-like moment when God will have to step in and intervene, yet again. There is coming another like the leader of the rebels of earth at the time of the Tower of Babel. But the neo-Nimrod will have technology far superior to that of the first Nimrod’s time to carry out his regime’s evil. There will be no place on planet earth to hide (except that provided by God Himself) when Antichrist’s technology of control is released upon those alive during the Tribulation.

The current striving of the principalities and powers to replace God will fail miserably. Christ will rule and reign upon a pristine planet that will have been restored to its original glory.

That Babel moment is coming. God will again take total charge as He did then.

And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.  (Genesis 11:6)

We who are believers in Jesus Christ as our Savior are witnesses to the world of Christ’s saving power.

“Saving from what?” is the question we often encounter when witnessing to those who don’t have this salvation offered only by the sacrificial death, burial, and resurrection from death of Jesus Christ.

And the matter at the center of this question is the nucleus from which rebellion springs. When witnesses for Christ give the reason one needs saving, the rebellion and sometimes even muted anger springs into the conversation.

The thought in the mind of the one being witnessed to is something like “I’m not so bad—not like a murderer, rapist, thief, and others who might need to be saved from consequences of my deeds.”

As I once heard Ted Turner, the media mogul, say when asked about Christ andsSalvation, “I don’t need anybody to die for me.”

This is often the response to the message of Christ’s saving grace.

The human creation, fallen since the Garden of Eden, thinks in terms of being pretty good. This is why the Constitution of the United States is being more and more disdained by the present rebels who make up the ideological left, for example.

The founding fathers of this nation believed that mankind is fallen and needs to come under the governance of God, or “nature’s God,” as Thomas Jefferson and some other deists within the founding group would have it.

They believed in the depravity of man. Many on the ideological, political left hold that man is basically good and can be perfected through government largesse and control. They can create in this way their version of utopia. They deny that God has anything to say about it. All we have to do to understand this view is to consider that the Democrat Party has all but totally excluded any mention of God from their party’s political platform.

To them, being progressive is being in control of what happens in this life on planet earth—not turning over control to some mythological deity.

We can see in God’s prophetic Word where this rebellion is leading. It is plainly shown in the matter of the two witnesses who will emerge during the time known as Great Tribulation. They will come to preach that earth-dwellers—all who are in rebellion against God—must repent and accept Christ for salvation.

Just as now, only in a much more hostile way, people of that time will hate the messengers. These earth-dwellers will, like ancient Judaizers of Israel, kill the prophets of God’s message. They didn’t want to hear it then. Those on earth at the time of this visitation of the two witnesses won’t like it at that time either.

Antichrist, the most horrendous dictator of all of human history, will do his utmost to hunt down the two witnesses of God and kill them.

He, and the earth-dwellers who hate them too will be unable to harm them, until their work is done and God’s salvation message and His warnings of judgment and wrath are complete.

Here’s what happens next, according to God’s Holy Word.

And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. (Revelation 11:7–12)

So if we want to wonder about where those of this generation who don’t know the Lord for salvation are headed in terms of their feelings about we who witness, we have only to consider the above foretelling of that future time.

We see this anti-God, anti-Christ attitude growing in every direction we look today. These are increasingly insulted by the salvation message.

As Ted Turner sadly and tragically said, they too say: ”I don’t need anybody to die for me.”   

Is there any doubt within the spiritually attuned mind that these will, when the awe and shock have run their course, celebrate the Christians’ evacuation from the surface of this judgment-bound planet?

One news story points to the attitude that is already far advanced in the developing anti-God, anti-Christ hostility. The following is a brief excerpt.

Educators from across the state are gathering for a training this week with Dr. Muhammad Khalifa, a controversial equity consultant with a history of promoting theories like “Christian privilege.”

He also appears to work for a group founded by a prominent anti-Semite.

Khalifa first sparked controversy in Minnesota when he was hired in 2019 by Eastern Carver County Schools to conduct nearly $90,000 worth of equity work. A former University of Minnesota professor, Khalifa now works at Ohio State University and runs the Culturally Responsive School Leadership Institute…

A handout from the equity academy asks teachers to reflect on how current school practices are “connected with earlier colonial or oppressive practices in U.S. history.”

One item on the document compares the “containment of Black bodies on enslavement plantations” to “normalizing the practice of sending Black students to in-school suspension spaces.”

Another handout instructs teachers on the various “expressions of whiteness,” such as “whiteness as fragile,” “whiteness as normal,” and “whiteness as niceness.”

The training program, called the Culturally Responsive School Leadership Academy, seeks to “challenge Whiteness and hegemonic epistemologies in schools,” according to infographics published by Khalifa’s group.

“Christianity was used as an excuse to classify Africans and indigenous peoples as ‘non-human.’ This thinking still influences the dehumanization of minoritized students,” another infographic states.

Khalifa is the author of a controversial pamphlet on “Islamophobia and Christian privilege,” which directs teachers to “infuse curriculum and school activities with intellectual traditions that originate in the Muslim World” and claims that, unlike Islam, Western religions are not “a way of life.”

In a 2016 article, Khalifa describes “culturally responsive school leadership” as a method that “encompasses aspects of antioppressive/racist leadership, transformative leadership, and social justice leadership, but pushes further.” (“A controversial equity consultant is guiding Minnesota educators through a process of ‘learning and unlearning’ compares suspension to slavery,” Anthony Gockowski, August 5, 2021, Altha News)

So the educational systems of America and the world are well into denying God as they plan their Heaven on earth, satanically spawned curriculum, etc. The time to witness to as many as possible of Jesus Christ’s soul-saving grace is now.

Every signal our spiritual radar gives the Christian today indicates the any moment removal of that witness from the planet might happen.

We must witness to those still in rebellion, even if we are more and more hated for doing so. Christ is their only “Hope” (Titus 2: 13).

Listening recently to the great Bible teacher, Les Feldick, on his television program that first aired sometime in the early 2000s, I heard him telling of when he and his wife visited Israel. The visit was in the mid 1990s, I think.

Les said that they were at a restaurant and a young, Jewish man approached them at their table. They were obviously visiting Americans, and the man, as I take it, wanted to quiz them a bit about the reason for their visit to his country.

Feldick said he learned through the introduction that the young man was a product of Yeshiva, the study institution for Jewish boys.

Their conversation somehow got around to the Jewish view of the Messiah and how each viewed who this person would be and what he would do—his role on behalf of Israel.

Les first explained that his view—as a Christian—is that the Messiah had already visited Israel. He was God’s Son, and would come again to institute the Millennial Kingdom, etc.

The Jewish man said, during their cordial conversation, that they didn’t believe Jesus had been their Messiah, and that the Jewish studies taught that Mashiach—the Messiah—will be a superhuman person, but not deity.

This brought to my thinking the visit Adolf Hitler reported at one point while he was Germany’s infamous Führer. Hitler said he was suddenly confronted by a being while sitting in his office. The visitor was a profoundly commanding figure that assured him, Hitler, that he would be the savior of Germany; he would restore Germany and its people to greatness.

Hitler described the personage as “Überman,” a man that transcended mere mortal men. The being was a superman, of sort, der Führer implied.

This reported visitation was brought to mind when remembering other research I’m doing for a novel I’m tentatively giving the title MESSIAH.

This is what the young Jewish man mentioned above was taught:

The mashiach will be a great political leader descended from King David (Jeremiah 23:5). The mashiach is often referred to as “mashiach ben David” (mashiach, son of David). He will be well-versed in Jewish law, and observant of its commandments (Isaiah 11:2–5). He will be a charismatic leader, inspiring others to follow his example. He will be a great military leader, who will win battles for Israel. He will be a great judge, who makes righteous decisions (Jeremiah 33:15). But above all, he will be a human being, not a god, demi-god or other supernatural being.

It has been said that in every generation, a person is born with the potential to be the mashiach. If the time is right for the messianic age within that person’s lifetime, then that person will be the mashiach. Hitler’s own, twisted vision of the super race (Aryan) was based largely on the demonically inspired writings of German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche.

 In Der Wille zur Macht (“The Will to Power”), Nietzsche declares:

A daring and ruling race is building itself up…. The aim should be to prepare a transvaluation of values for this new man, —most highly gifted in intellect and will. This man—and the elite around him will become the “lords of the earth.”

Nietzsche’s concept of the coming “Übermensch” (superman) demonstrates Satan’s power to delude, deceive, and blind the human race to truth. Israel is no exception.

Because of the nation’s rejection of their Messiah, the Lord allowed them to become blinded by Satan for the time being—blinded to truth regarding who Jesus Christ is and what He truly means to Israel’s future. This is what Paul says about the matter:

For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. (Romans 11:25)  

Mankind, as well as God’s chosen nation, the Jewish people, continues to long for someone—some system—to save them from some unknown fate they instinctively and fearfully sense is just beyond the immediate horizon. The Antichrist they will accept, Jesus has foretold. Him, Jesus, they rejected. The price will be paid for that rejection by the whole world of rebels because of their unbelief.

Thankfully, a remnant of Israel will be supernaturally saved, preserved to inherit the millennial kingdom. So will a remnant of Gentiles. All will then thrive under the King of all kings, the Lord Jesus Christ.

God’s Word promises that this phoney superman whom many will accept will be destroyed with the breath of the Saviour’s mouth while He breaks through the black clouds of evil at the time of Armageddon. He will speak the words that will end the ages-long wickedness of earth’s history. Again, I believe those words might well be the same as the Lord spoke that stormy day on the Sea of Galilee: “Peace, be still.”

The Apostle Paul describes the generation that will be on the stage of earth’s history during mankind’s final scenes of this dispensation perhaps better than any other human author. We’ve gone over his many characteristics of end-times man in a number of commentaries. But Paul’s prophetic words about perilous times to come—except for the very few times he says are him, not God, speaking—are inspired by the One who is the Word. Jesus is the true Author of the Bible (John 1:1).

So when we read words issued straight from the Lord’s own mouth, they have special significance. No one but God knows the end from the beginning. His Word proves that again and again. So Jesus’ words on things to come are profoundly important to read and heed.

With that in mind, let’s consider Jesus’ words as juxtaposed against the issues and events of these troublous times that so often vex us, as Lot, the believer of ancient times who lived in Sodom, might have put it.

Jesus, when asked by His disciples about the signs of His Second Coming, said:

Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven. (Luke 21:10–11)

The Lord, in other places, described these signs as coming upon the earth in birth-pang-like convulsions. There would be an increase in frequency and intensity of these issues and events. It will be, He indicated, much like a woman when she is having painful contractions in the process of giving birth.

One of the key indicators for us to look at in Christ’s prophecy is the term “nation against nation.”

We’ve pointed out many times that the Greek word for “nation” in this case is ethnos. Jesus was foretelling a time when there would be a tremendous rise in ethnic conflicts. This is one of the key descriptions of our times.

We have to look no further than our own nation, the United States, to determine that we are in ethnic turmoil. And it is contrived turmoil, foisted upon us by globalists who want to move America into a one-world configuration.

The Black Lives Matter and Antifa are proven to be groups organized and funded by the likes of George Soros, a man dedicated to creating a global order.

These organizations have ginned up the ever-intensifying rage of rebellious anarchists within those who harbor racial hatred that has literally brought American cities to ruin societally, culturally, and, most assuredly, economically.

In my view, the so-called COVID pandemic continues to be used by the globalists as a bludgeon against America’s people. The powers and principalities of Ephesians 6:12 are fomenting this nation-against-nation, end-of-the-age conflict.

This brings together the terms in Jesus’ prophecy, “ethnic hatreds and pestilence.” Although COVID and its proliferating strains is a contrived pestilence, it is pestilence nonetheless. It is a precursor to the great, real pandemics that will kill millions during the Tribulation era. What we are seeing now is implementation of a control mechanism that is laying groundwork for the coming Antichrist regime to use.

Jesus, the greatest of all prophets, described precisely this racial hatred that would be prevalent just before He returns to put an end to this wicked, rebellious cabal. God’s Word warns about this evil and its fatal destiny in Psalm 2.

The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. (Psalm 2:2–5)

Jesus stated further:

And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring. (Luke 21:25)

Although a case can easily be made for astonishing evidence of things going on in space that have people looking into that dark vastness for answers, it is the second part of this prophecy that is profoundly relevant to this time so near the end of the Age of Grace.

Economic turmoil caused by the worldwide COVID lockdowns has the nations in distress with great and growing perplexity. Great Britain, France, Australia, and other major Western economies are experiencing conditions like those described by the Lord.

America, the nation to whose dollar most all the world is intricately linked, is but one event or occurrence away from total collapse.

Although our government and the mainstream media won’t confess this before the American people or the world that depends on the dollar, that collapse could come at any moment, it is feared by many in the know.

Some perhaps not so much in the know, in terms of economic acumen (yours truly, for example), understand in their spirits that the moment that breaks the proverbial camel’s back is about to occur.

I write, of course, about the Rapture of all believers in Jesus Christ for salvation of their souls.

Jesus’ words are recorded, finally, pointing toward that moment of removal from the Tribulation that will follow that great event.

And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. (Luke 21: 28)

Jonathan Cahn, a Jewish-Christian pastor, several years ago put forward comparison between the nation of Israel and the United States in his highly successful book The Harbinger. He caught much grief at the time from some hyper-discernment types for the comparison. His presentation, however, rang true in the spiritual eyes and ears of many –including yours truly. The comparison holds up today, and it even resonates more clearly—reverberates more powerfully.

Cahn made the comparison, in part, by writing that just as the leaders of ancient Israel pushed God aside and boasted that they would “build back better” than ever when there were calamities, leaders within America likewise proclaimed they would rebuild back when the World Trade Center towers fell on September 11, 2001. And this they did. The 1,776-foot-tall Freedom Tower stands in Lower Manhattan today as proof of their ability to carry out their braggadocious proclamation.

The following from the prophet Isaiah encapsulates the pridefulness of that period of Israel’s rebellion and the Lord’s anger, thus the repercussions that would follow.

And all the people shall know, even Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria, that say in the pride and stoutness of heart, The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycomores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars. Therefore the Lord shall set up the adversaries of Rezin against him, and join his enemies together; The Syrians before, and the Philistines behind; and they shall devour Israel with open mouth. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still. For the people turneth not unto him that smiteth them, neither do they seek the Lord of hosts. Therefore the Lord will cut off from Israel head and tail, branch and rush, in one day. (Isaiah 9:9–14)

We remember that church attendance during the several weeks following the attacks on New York City and Washington, DC, had the pews full and the pulpits pointing heavenward. The chambers of Congress were full of swelling indignation and promises of reciprocity. But things soon turned back to business as usual, with church attendance diminishing and the government using the opportunity to seize more power and control through the Patriot Act and other tricks of the swamp.

Much has taken place since, of course. America has gotten involved in seemingly endless military actions in the Middle East. The government has become more intrusive in most every way, even during a brief reprieve when the globalists-elite agglomerate seemed to, for that time, let their incessant grab for power slip momentarily from their insidious grip.

But now, with the coming of the (I believe contrived) COVID-19 matter and all attendant to it, the globalists once again think they rule with increasing power. They will, as the president (whom many believe to be illegitimate) and the slogan of his administration says: “We will build back better!”

So it seems that Rabbi Cahn continues to be on the mark with his findings, based upon Scripture, as presented in his book. Government and mankind have shunted the God of all Creation aside. They are capable of taking care of all of planet earth’s ills—if they can just force the rest of us to go along (i.e., get the vaccines, etc.).

Climate change—the greatest of all crises in human history, according to this president and those on the left—must be dealt with by man alone. God has nothing to do with it. But those who worship Mother Earth in place of the Creator have now been turned over to the reprobate mindset, as forewarned by the Apostle Paul (Romans 1:28). They can no longer think rationally, nor do they seem to want to do so.

Which brings me to the topic of this commentary.

We’ve reached as a generation, I’m convicted, the “perilous times” Paul wrote about that we’ve looked at many times. A chief characteristic that marks end-times mankind is the one Paul termed “without natural affection” (2 Timothy 3:3).

At the heart of this characteristic is Lucifer’s hatred for mankind. He has thus convinced to be instituted the Mother Earth worship system, counterfeiting true worship. This evil system is based upon first, global warming and now, climate change.

Today, abortion, the killing of babies in their mother’s wombs, is the sacrifice of this anti-God religion. Lucifer hates God’s creation and intends to separate everyone from the Creator. Like in ancient religious systems, human sacrifice always seemed to be at the center of the worship. Babies are placed upon the alters of convenience as blood sacrifice, like infants being placed in the white-hot hands of the god Moloch.

This horrendous ritual is the ultimate example of the term “without natural affection.” For what mother, if she truly grasped the evil of abortion, could willingly let her child be murdered in her womb?

But Satan has blinded so many to this wickedness. The mothers in most cases of abortion have been convinced that an unborn child is nothing more than unwanted illness—like a tumor to be excised.

And government is the chief tool Lucifer uses to delude the mothers of America and the world. Government’s anti-God stance is seen clearly through the following excerpt—again, portraying that they don’t need or want God’s interference in the matter of considering what constitutes life.

House Democrats are one step closer to achieving President Joe Biden’s goal of establishing taxpayer-funded abortions nationwide.

A funding bill proposal released Sunday from the Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies subcommittee would repeal the Hyde Amendment—a decades-long policy that prevents federal tax dollars from funding abortion. The White House proposed repealing the amendment in its budget introduced in May…

“Biden-Pelosi Democrats are scrapping decades of bipartisan consensus to force taxpayers to fund abortion, doubling down on extremism to appease an increasingly radical base,” Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of the Susan B. Anthony List, said. (“Dems Advance Taxpayer-Funded Abortion through Committee,” Washington Free Beacon, Rapture Ready News, July 14, 2021)

Another way Satan shows his hatred for humanity is to induce reprobate thinking and perverted sexual activity. This he has done masterfully. He has convinced governments to back miniscule minorities in their insane belief and declaration that a person can be whatever gender they wish. They can do whatever they want to with their bodies, with no deity to govern.

The American government, under the present presidential administration, blatantly projects this anti-God characteristic “without natural affection.”

There is nothing “natural” about the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender agenda. The LGBT coalition has representatives with great influence within the White House and other places of governmental power.

The following is prime example of what that influence has wrought.

The Biden administration has given blanket authorization to fly LGBT pride flags at U.S. embassies and consulates around the world. The rainbow flag—a symbol of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender pride—will be permitted to fly on the same official flagpoles that fly the American flag.

The new policy was announced by Secretary of State Antony Blinken, which repeals the decision by his predecessor Mike Pompeo during former President Donald Trump’s tenure at the White House.

U.S. diplomatic outposts are given “blanket written authorization…to display the Pride flag on the external-facing flagpole, for the duration of the 2021 Pride season,” the cable said, according to ABC News. (“Biden Admin Grants Authorization to Fly LGBT Pride Flag at Embassies on Same Official Pole as American Flag,” Paul Sacca, Blaze News)

The U.S. government’s “Build Back Better” program is succeeding in accomplishing Satan’s agenda, and is leading the nation ever farther from God’s design for nations and for humanity. The spiritually attuned should have no doubt about why judgment and wrath must one day—perhaps soon—fall upon the rebels of this fallen planet.

Before God’s restraining hand on all this wickedness is removed—before judgment and wrath fall in that last seven years called Tribulation, Jesus Christ will call all believers into Heaven and out of harm’s way.

You want to be a part of that call. You don’t want to be caught in that most terrible time of all history. As always, to hear and respond to that call into glory, Paul instructs:

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9–10)

Podcasters, some of whom I respect, but others whom I find alarmists beyond their acumen about geopolitical intrigues, are more and more these days forecasting fears of attacks on America. Many of the assaults they talk about involve cyberspace invasions and the like. But increasingly, the talk is of direct military action—invasion of our nation from the north and the south.

Russia, they say, will invade from the north, I suppose in concert with the cooperation of the Canadian government. China, they fear, already has troops in large numbers ready to cross the U.S. southern border. Mexico, I suppose, along with countries farther south, is in collusion in some way with this planned invasion.

The enemies most mentioned are Russia and China. We might expect direct military action by as early as the fall, according to the direst warnings the podcasters are predicting.

Daily the bloggers talk of the burgeoning military capacity of both of these enemies that voraciously look at the grand prize—the United States of America. Their submarine forces—according to the bloggers—are simply without peer and surround our nation, poised to launch missiles that are hypersonic—whatever that means in terms of diverging in effectiveness from missiles that are already capable of speeds that can’t be defended against.

It’s as if American military forces have shrunk to the extent that they make these diabolist aggressors impervious to any fear of being themselves destroyed—like they feared during the Cold War era of MAD (mutually assured destruction).

From my reading of prophecy yet future I can say with assurance that war on the scale that would result from such an attack won’t eventuate as these folks forecast. Both of these aggressor-nations are prophetically scheduled to instigate such war, but not at this time—unless the Rapture is immediately upon us in that twinkling-of-an-eye moment we all, as believers, long to take place.

Both aggressor nations are destined to be totally decimated when they do instigate such warfare. That said, there are preparations for war on an unfathomable scale being planned by Satan and his minions, both demonic and human, that will make all other wars of history seem mere skirmishes. Again, we have God’s Holy Word on this eventuation.

Nuclear—and even more horrific instrumentalities of war-making—are in development. And the preparations for unleashing such instrumentalities are in the scientific/technological incubators of a growing number of nations as they make plans for war that God’s prophetic Word foretells is on the way.

An article of interest frames those developments:

A Pentagon report secretly published in 2020 and first disclosed this week, raises the potential for some form of armed conflict between nuclear-armed powers.

The Pentagon’s “Joint Nuclear Options” report, dated April 17, 2020, was released through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request submitted by the Federation of American Scientists.

The report states, “Despite concerted US efforts to reduce the role of nuclear weapons in international affairs and to negotiate reductions in the number of nuclear weapons, since 2010 no potential adversary has reduced either the role of nuclear weapons in its national security strategy or the number of nuclear weapons it fields.”

“Rather, they have moved decidedly in the opposite direction,” the report continues. “As a result, there is an increased potential for regional conflicts involving nuclear-armed adversaries in several parts of the world and the potential for adversary nuclear escalation in crisis or conflict.”…

The report notes Russia is modernizing Soviet-era nuclear systems and developing and employing new nuclear warheads and launchers, three new intercontinental-range nuclear weapon systems; a hypersonic glide vehicle; a nuclear-armed, nuclear-powered ground-launched cruise missile; and a nuclear-armed, nuclear-powered, undersea autonomous torpedo.…

On China, the report states, “China continues to increase the number, capabilities, and protection of its nuclear forces. China has developed a new road-mobile, strategic, intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM); a new multi-warhead version of its DF-5 silo-based ICBM; and its most advanced ballistic missile submarine armed with new submarine-launched ballisticmissiles (SLBMs). It has also announced development of a new nuclear-capable strategic bomber, giving China a nuclear triad.”

The Pentagon report states, “North Korea‘s continued pursuit of nuclear
weapons capabilities poses the most immediate and dire proliferation threat to international security and stability.”…

“Iran’s development of increasingly long-range ballistic missile capabilities, and its aggressive strategy and activities to destabilize neighboring governments, raises questions about its long-term commitment to forgoing nuclear weapons capability,” the Pentagon report adds. As has been stated, no weapon has ever been invented that hasn’t been used to kill in wars. It is obvious that the buildup of weapons of war—ultimate weapons in terms of destructive capacity—is taking place at a pace worthy of the alarmism the podcasters are forewarning. It’s just that their perspective isn’t biblical with their forecasts. Some are partially from the right perspective, that of Bible prophecy. But the forecasters fail to take into account that the Restrainer of evil is still present in this soon-to-be-judged world of corruption and rebellion. God the Holy Spirit is still resident with in each believer–the collective of which is the Church–the Body of Jesus Christ.

The most horrific war-making of human history is yet future, and It can’t take place until the Church is removed in the Rapture, and God again begins dealing with the nation Israel and all of humanity in judgment and wrath–a time out of which Israel will emerge, in remnant form, to become the head nation of the world, from which King Jesus will rule and reign.

Russia, if it attacked America from the north, would be completely destroyed. China, if attacking from the south, would be completely destroyed. Our Pentagon generals and admirals are not that far diminished in their fealty to duty, honor, and country that they wouldn’t respond with massive retaliation.

Russia must be around, prophetically speaking, according to the prophet Ezekiel, to lead the invasion against Israel. This is where God, Himself, will completely destroy that Gog-Magog juggernaut, except for one-sixth of their forces. China must be around to cross the dried-up Euphrates, as prophesied in Revelation chapters 9 and 16. They will, after destroying one-third of the earth’s population with their nuclear weapons and massive hordes of demonically driven military troops, be utterly smashed to bits along with all other war-making peoples on the killing field called Armageddon. The Lord Himself will bring about the destruction of both of these satanic, tyrant-led nations.

All of these considerations point to one prophetic truth. War on an unfathomable scale is about to take place. This assurance from God’s own Word is encapsulated in the following prophetic utterance given John the Revelator:

And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. (Revelation 6:3)

A Short Reflection on Terry James’ Skywatch article “Alien Deception” – By Ed Wood

I just read Terry’s article “Alien Deception” in Skywatch that was featured at Rapture Ready on July 1, 2021. I think he has it absolutely right. I, too, would like to share some thoughts on this topic.

Right up front, since I consider the Bible as the most reliable witness of all, then intelligent entities are either:

A) God, the ultimate intelligence of all.

B ) Angels (good or evil)

C) Humans

Now if there really were sentient ET’s out there, I believe such a thing would be important enough to be mentioned in the Bible. I can’t think of a single instance of that, so that takes care of D), as far as I’m concerned.

Also, in the Bible, God or the angels never appear as coming to Earth in some kind of vehicle, though some people have considered Ezekiel’s exotic visions as UFO accounts. Seems to me more like a case of the prophet describe a vision of heaven which simply cannot encompassed by mere words. It is unreasonable to think that God or that angels sent by him need some kind of machinery to make an appearance. They just appear in a manner and at a time that’s the most appropriate when required.

So, that leaves the source of UAP/UFO’s as either human or demonic.

In the first case, I think it’s possible that there is top-secret human-based research which could be the source of some of these sightings. I’ve seen the B2 in flight and, if I didn’t know humans built it, I sure wouldn’t exclude the possibility that it was extraterrestrial. 

If some of these weird sightings aren’t of human origin, then that leaves only the second case.

The Bible tells us that the Antichrist and False Prophet will tap into Satan’s dark treasure chest to help fool humanity during the Tribulation. We also know that when people play around with the occult, it opens them up to the works of the devil and his demonic allies – hence the biblical prohibitions against such activity. Since deception is Satan’s accustomed and biggest weapon, why not create the UAP/UFO phenomena we now see to lead people astray?

What does puzzle me is this:  Why has everything released to the public so far been such a lousy job of special effects? I have yet to see a really clear picture of a supposed alien spaceship or someone producing a piece of exotic hardware that could never have been made on Earth. Could such things be successfully hidden from the public for decades, at least?

I just done see how this sort of thing could be suppressed for this long. I mean, Nixon finally got caught concerning Watergate and this would be an exponentially bigger story. What about that recent report that just came out? Doesn’t seem to tell us much more than “Well, we don’t know what these things are.” It a   big “Much ado about nothing” deal, as I see it. It reminds me a lot of the current Covid-19 situation which has shown us just how many people can be led astray on pretty flimsy and contradictory “evidence.”

That being said, imagine how these same people would react if the devil decides to deliver up some serious “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” special effects in the days ahead. But maybe he can’t while believers are still around, his ability to do so being inhibited by the presence of the Holy Spirit which indwells them.

What about after the Rapture?

Using the Book of Revelation as our guide, it would not surprise me at all for something exactly like this to happen along with all the other false miracles the”Man of sin” and False Prophet will produce to make most of the human race fall on their knees before them.

Luckily, those of us who have accepted Jesus won’t be here for those last terrible years.

Before Donald J. Trump, the Muslim world was on the rise, with ISIS (ISIL, as President Obama would have it) threatening to take over most of the Middle East. While Trump was in the White House, it was increasingly apparent that the forces of Islam were scattering, to an extent. There was even a move toward ancient enemies beginning to put aside some differences in order to seek at least a modicum of peace with Israel.

As a matter of fact, there were fears among some of those knowledgeable about Bible prophecy that the so-called Abrahamic Accords involving Israel and the Islamic world would bring about cursing for the effort—thus because of Joel 3:2, in which the prophet foretold that all nations of the world will be brought to the Valley of Jehoshaphat because of the dividing of God’s land.

I’ve read numerous opinions that state the writers believe Donald Trump lost the presidency because he supported the Abrahamic Accords effort, which they viewed as, like all other peace efforts, offering God’s land for promises of peace.

Now, with the Biden administration and a return to business as usual (as carried out by the Obama administration,) Islam is on the grow again. They are once again flexing their muscles, atrophied because of Trump’s strong hand during his years as president.

All of that is to say that writers in Bible prophecy who were, during the Obama years, making inroads with their “Antichrist will be a Muslim” predictions, and lost audience as the Muslim world retracted during the Trump years, are now again in vogue. Some Middle East observers are seeing a resurgence in forces that made up ISIS and the other terrorist organizations. This means to some observers that the Muslim world is on track again to bring the Dajjal (Antichrist) to power.

Islamic scholars who are Muslim themselves are in disagreement with each other in a number of critical ways—so much so that there continue to be deep divisions of intramural ideological pyrotechnics that threaten bloody conflicts. Those differences and what they portend will have to be considered in another essay because of space limitations. Suffice it to say that the two major branches of Islam, Sunni and Shiite, diverge in eschatology in profoundly different ways.

Dr. David Reagan of Lamb & Lion Ministries, however, writes about the major signs generally covered in the eschatological belief system of Islam according to the Hadith (any of the various collections of the words, actions, and habits of the prophet Mohammad during his lifetime):

The major signs pointing to “the Hour” are all critical events that are part of the end-time sequence of events, beginning with the appearance of the Antichrist. Muslim scholars generally don’t try to present a strict chronological order of what is going to ultimately transpire, but the order presented below is representative:

1. The appearance of the Antichrist, called the Dajjal.
2. The rising of the Islamic Messiah, called the Mahdi.
3. The Return of Jesus.
4. The Reign of Jesus.
5. The Day of Resurrection, called “The Hour.”
6. The Day of Judgment.

There are many other end-time events mentioned in the Hadith, but these are the most important:

The Return of Jesus.

It is not clear at what point in the career of the Mahdi Jesus will return. Some believe it will be as soon as the Mahdi is able to organize his Muslim army to oppose the Dajjal’s Jewish army. Jesus will return to the Mount of Olives and then head to Damascus where he will meet up with the Mahdi and submit himself to him as a subordinate. At some point in the Mahdi’s wars Jesus himself will be the one who will kill the Dajjal and see to the annihilation of the Jews. Jesus will then serve as an Islamic evangelist, proclaiming Islam as the one and only true religion, and he will establish Islamic Shari’ah law throughout the entire earth. It isn’t too hard to understand how such an evil, mixed-up view as presented by Islam could lead those not spiritually attuned to the conclusion that the “man of sin” will be a Muslim. But this is not what God’s Word says. It is clear from Daniel 9:26–27 that this “son of perdition” will come out of the people who, in AD 70, destroyed the city and the sanctuary—i.e., Jerusalem and the Temple atop Mount Moriah.

Nonetheless, I heard a preacher on his program, with all the sincerity he could muster, tell of the book he has written proving Antichrist will be a Muslim. He seemed, otherwise, a soundly grounded pastor of a local church—i.e., he presented the gospel and other doctrine from a true, biblical perspective, best I could tell.

The people who destroyed the city and the sanctuary in AD 70 were Romans , dear pastor. They were not from Islam, which didn’t even exist until hundreds of years later.

Deep studies into the matters involving who this beast of Revelation 13 will be show that he will come from a revived form of the Roman Empire. That can be determined, most scholars I trust teach, through looking into the following prophecy:

And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful. (Revelation 17:10–14)
